Luke glared "Sorry Luke but I gotta go" I apologized "Yeah whatever, I'll drop your bike off at yours when I'm finished if you are not back by then" He mumbled "Thanks" I smiled at him before leaving my bike and running off behind some trees "A Sporix Beast hatched at the marina" Ollie's voice called out "We're on our way" Zayto informed him as we all cut the connection and I looked back at luke who was just about to start another lap before quick morphing before teleporting to the Marina where the others were already fighting the sporix so I quickly jumped in to attack just in time to stop Izzy from getting hit "Took your time" Ollie stated "Oh fuck off" I glared at him from under my helmet as Zayto used the blazing dino key to attack the sporix only for it to fall flat "Oh man, I guess water really does beat fire." Zayto exclaimed as the sporix sent another water attack at us "You losers are all wet behind the ears." The sporix insulted us as they ran away with Slyther and Mucus showing up out of nowhere and running after the sporix "That things running wild, and he's long gone already" Zayto stated as the sporix disappeared somewhere "We better go check my mum didn't have a close encounter, of the beastly kind" Ollie suggested causing all of us to demorph and quickly race towards where Ollies mum was "Hey mum did you see anything go by just now?" Ollie asked as he walked up to her "Nope just staring at fish" She sighed "I don't like this, You can bet that sporix will be back." Zayto noted "Oh! hi, everyone. Welcome. Sorry, this isn't more exciting. I haven't found anything yet. But the storm's still as strong as ever" Dr Akana stated "The sub drone's still on track but it'll take a while for my laptop to trace all that info." She informed Ollie "Computer's a dinosaur." Ollie told us "Speaking of time - Ollie and I gotta do that interview," Javi said as he looked at his phone "You two go. We'll head to base in case that beast reappears" Zayto instructed us after he made sure Dr Akana couldn't hear "I got to get back to the track" I told him "Really, wouldn't it be better if you were on standby with us?" Amelia asked "Not if I want to piss Luke off anymore " I countered causing her to agree I quickly left after shouting a goodbye over my shoulder before teleporting to the track again and arriving just in time for Luke to finish a lap "Nice jump" I praised him as he came back over to the van "You're back" He seemed shocked "Obviously, now how about we race 3 laps loser buys lunch" I challenged him which caused him to smile "Oh you're going down" He laughed as I got back on my bike and we both headed towards the starting line/p

Ha Ha! Have you not put it all together? Your head must be full of gumballs" Slyther laughed as the others joined us "You're... Mr Wiz" Ollie realized "Ding, Ding, Ding and the prize goes to... Void knight. Ha Ha! He wins whatever your sub drone drags to shore. Tidemare, show the runners up what they get." Slyther commanded before he and Mucus teleported away "You power losers are in deep water now" Tidemare threatened us "Really? 'cause you seem kinda shallow." Amelia taunted him "It's Morphin' time" Zayto announced as we all got ready to morph "Dino fury key! Activate! Link to morphin' grid." The six of us chorused before finishing the morph "Dino Fury power" We finished and immediately we attacked the beast, Zayto and Elouise tried to slash the beast but got stopped as the sporix shoved them away, I tried to jump at the sporix only for him to knock me back before turning to Zayto and trying to use an attack on him which he blocked with the shield key with Ollie immediately jumping in front of Zayto after the attack finished to counter which failed. Izzy and Amelia rushed past us drawing the sporix away before both trying to an attack "He's blocking everything" Amelia groaned as the sporix covered himself in streams of water before dissapearing "And know he's disappeared" Amelia stated "Careful team, He could attack from any angle" Zayto warned us "You mean like this? Sonic splash" The sporix said as he apeared directly in front of Zayto and quickly sending an attack towards us causing all of us to collapse on the floor, the sporix rapidly attacked not even giving us the chance to even try a counterattack "Let me try to break his flow" I suggested as I grabbed the hyper key and activated it "Hyper strike" I announced before sending the attack at him only for the sporix to block and immediately return an attack that knocked each of us down "Welcome to the deep end, rangers!" The sporix laughed as he charged at us but got interrupted by a blast "Huh, Where did that come from?" Elouise asked only to be answered by a yell drawing our attention to a gold ranger? "A gold ranger?" Amelia stated, "Could it be?" Zayto muttered, "Where did he come from?" Ollie asked Zayto "Uh... I don't know" Zayto told us "You're about to get dragged under!" The sporix threatened the ranger "You'll find the deep doesn't scare me." The ranger countered as he readied himself "Then wade in" the sporix challenged "Mosa blast" The gold ranger called out as he continuously attacked the sporix injuring him "Hengemen" The sporix yelled summoning six hengemen behind the new ranger "Interesting" The ranger mumbled as he began fighting the hengemen as the rest of us watched on before destroying the hengemen with a boost sleeve "You can't break my splash shield" The sporix charged at him "Really?" The ranger cockily asked as he shot through shield knocking the sporix down "Well that was a shock to the system" The sporix moaned as he stood up "Hah, Pitiful." The gold ranger laughed "The tides turning to me" The sporix desperately tried as he summoned a larger water attack "Big words from someone who conducts electricity" The ranger stated as he charged up an attack before they both set off their attacks with the gold rangers attack blasting through the sporixs and destroying him "He just obliterated him" I stated in shock as we all stood up before demorphing "Wow you totally saved our skin" Amelia thanked as four of us ran over to him with Elouise stopping halfway towards the new ranger while Zayto stayed rooted to the spot "Who are you?" Ollie asked him "Hey Zayto" The ranger ignored us as he faced Zayto "You know him?" Amelia asked Zayto as we all turned to look at him but the sound of teleporting brought our attention back to where the gold ranger was "Who was that Zayto?" Elouise asked as we joined the two "I think it's, uh..." Zayto awkwardly mumbled "The Sporix" Izzy interrupted as she started to run to grab it only for Zayto to cut her off and grab it "I should get this back to the base" Zayto emotionlessly stated before teleporting immediately away "The fuck was that about?" Elouise asked "Dunno" Izzy shrugged "But it looks like there's this a new ranger in town." She continued. Ollie's phone rang and he quickly picked it up "Mum, What? slow down." He tried speaking only for the call to end "We need to go see my mum" He told us "You guys go I'm going to see what the hell is up with Zayto and this new ranger" Elouise said "You really think you can get it out of him?" Amelia asked "I'm gonna get it out of him one way or another" She smirked before teleporting away "I'm worried for Zayto" Amelia joked "Come on let's go see my mum" Ollie instructed causing us to teleport to an area closest to where Ollie's mum was and running to meet up with her "Mum, what happened?" Ollie asked her "It was mind-blowing! Turns out monsters hijacked the sub drone and dragged that pod to shore. Guess who was inside. Anyone? Anyone?" She excitedly rambled "No, you tell us" Ollie encouraged her "A power ranger! A gold one with lightning powers" She excitedly revealed "Oh wow" We all awkwardly chorused "It's true, Rangers are connected to the morphin' grid, right? Maybe, all his powerful energy built up in the pod, Ionizing the air above, causing the thunderstorm. Sounds crazy, but it does explain a lot." Dr Akana continued "You'd be surprised with the things we've seen, Doc." Amelia laughed "Well, I cannot wait to analyze the data I found. Better pack this up" She smiled before walking towards her equipment while Ollie started shutting down the laptops "That was so close, You okay?" I asked him as he took off his headphones "I was so obsessed with the latest, greatest tech that Slyther totally played me. And worse, I let you down. I need to focus more on the things that really matter, like my friends" He admitted as he looked back at the girls who both smiled "I really appreciate you saying that" I told him "Do you want these?" He offered his headphones "For your music?" He clarified "Wow! are you sure?" I asked "They're yours. My old ones work just fine."He shrugged "Do you still need a story for buzzblast? 'Cause I know a wild eyewitness account that everyone's gonna wanna hear." He said as he looked over at his mum/p
