"Crimson Horizons," a new story will likely (hopefully) begin by the end of this year - I've gotten started on writing it, and still debating some technical stuff like which POVs to keep in, whether to restrict it to a single one... How to juggle two stories... Boring stuff, really. Anyway, I've had enough practice illustrating things to feel half-confident drawing characters that don't make me cringe too hard, by now. Concept is something like this:
For generations, the Uzumaki clan honed arts as timeless as the stars themselves in the secluded sanctity of Uzushio. Raised by his mother in these mystical floating isles, he was not one seemingly destined for more than insular tranquility. A summons from an allied force disrupts his serene existence, compelling him to journey into a realm still haunted by the formidable legacy of the Second Hokage, long after his demise. Accompanied by brothers-in-arms, Naruto's path leads to Konoha, to conflict, to confronting not only the shadows of history but also the depths of sorrow, the instinct for survival, and an arduous quest for meaning.
