A few minutes later, they exited the room, feeling better than ever. As they pushed open the door, they looked ahead and saw, "DAWN?!"
Present
Camping spot, Kanto. April 26th, 2023. 12:48pm.
Dawn sprung back from the door. "Oh hi guys!" she laughed nervously. Leaf put her hands on her waist. "What were you doing there?" she raised an eyebrow at the youngest of her sisters. Gary shifted beside Leaf. Dawn giggled mysteriously. "Oh, nothing. Just listening to your wonderful conversation." she grinned teasingly.
"DAWN!" Leaf whined. "Sorry! I'll go now, byeeee!" she yelled as she ran for the door. "Bitch," Leaf muttered under her breath. Gary put an arm around Leaf. "So, Baby, when should we schedule our first date?" he asked with a newfound sense of confidence. Leaf swatted his chest. "Oh god, don't talk like that! It makes me cringe!" she wailed. Gary laughed as they walked to their room.

"No way, really?" Misty asked. "Yeah! They told each other they were in love, and everything!" Dawn exclaimed. May sighed. "I wish I could find love like Leafy…" she said as she looked up into the sky.
"How about me?"
May, Dawn, and Misty turned around, shocked. "Excuse me?" Drew looked back at his phone. "Yeah, yeah, I know…" he rolled his eyes a little. Misty and Dawn shifted uncomfortably. "Uh. We'll just…go…now," Misty started. "Y-yeah," Dawn said, as both she and Misty got out of their spots. May nodded. "Yeah…uh, bye!" she waved.
Drew turned off his phone and looked after Misty and Dawn. "So, your sisters left?" he asked. May hummed. "So, you get to know us, huh?" May's eyes widened. "You listened to our conversation?!" she shrieked. Drew got up as May scrambled to get up as well. "Yeah…so what?" he raised a brow as he started walking, May following him. "Wait," she said. He stopped. "Then you replied to my last words?" she asked. Drew turned around and walked up to her ear. "Wha…what?" May spoke nervously taking a few steps backwards. "I asked you that. "How about me?" he responded in a husky tone. He kissed her cheek, then left, leaving behind a red faced brunette.
"Good night May," he said as he walked back to their room. May touched her cheek. "Am I dreaming?" she asked no one in particular. Looking down at her other hand, she whispered: "Night, Drew." With that, she walked back into their room where Drew was already sleeping on the ground.
Meanwhile, Misty was walking near a dark alleyway. She had initially wanted some food, but had gotten a little lost and was finally back on the path after a half hour of searching. Suddenly, someone grabbed her hand. She looked back, horrified. "Rudy!" she exclaimed, trying to free her hand from her ex's grasp. "What's up, baby?" he slurred. Misty quickly realized he was drunk. She tried to free herself, but his grasp got tighter every time. At one point, she couldn't handle the pain. She let the tears make their way down her face as Rudy tried to kiss her.
But suddenly, someone punched Rudy. Rudy fell to the ground, but someone else hit Misty on the head, causing her to fall. She closed her eyes. The boy who saved her quickly grabbed onto a stick and beat the man with it. A few minutes later, she heard him put down the stick and pick her up. She kept her eyes closed, still, scared of who this person was. She heard a door open, and the person placed her down on a warm, familiar bed. She realized it was her own.
The man pushed up her blankets. The room was silent for a few minutes as she felt the man's eyes on her. "You have no right to be so beautiful…" she immediately recognized the voice as Ash. What was he saying? And why? "Baby, I get to know you, and you get to know me," je murmured. Misty felt the need to open her eyes. Ash fell to the ground.
"You…you tricked me!" he cried dramatically. Misty rubbed her sore head. "Ah, no… I just wanted to ask you, where will you sleep?" she asked. "Me on the ground," Ash replied quickly as he grabbed a pillow and blanket before covering himself with it. Misty laughed. "I heard what you said, BABY," she teased before easing herself to sleep.
The next day, Dawn was cleaning up her and Paul's room. She wiped her sweat off her her forehead and looked over at Paul, who was sleeping peacefully. She pouted. "This idiot…we have to go soon, and he's still sleeping!" she spoke to herself. She went over to the side of the bed to clean up, when Paul grabbed her hand and pulled her beside him. Dawn's eyes widened as she looked at her purple haired crush. He grumbled a little in his sleep. She blushed.
May looked at her watch. "Ugh, this Dawn…always late. I don't wanna kick her ass in front of Tae…" she said, walking up to her sister's room. Her jaw slacked when she saw Dawn on the bed with Paul. "Dawn…?Paul….?" she muttered shakily. Dawn stood up immediately. The room filled with awkward silence. At that moment, Paul decided to wake up and stretch. While on his way to the washroom, he patted Dawn's shoulder. "Good job, you clean good." he said.
An hour later, the group was ready to go. The pairs were all separated, and the boys were put together. Drew turned to Gary. "You really told Leaf you love her?" he asked amazedly. Gary puffed his chest proudly. "Yes." he replied simply. Drew nodded. "And I kissed her…" he spoke to himself. Gary whipped his head to face his little brother. "Wait, what? You kissed Leaf? On the lip-" "No, you idiot!" Drew cut him off. "May. And not on the lips, just the cheek." he spoke arrogantly.
Gary faced him. "Do you like her?" he asked. "Like her?" Drew scoffed. "I wanna fucking marry her!" he sighed. Gary backed away. "Woah, woah, woah, let's not go that far," he suggested. Drew rolled his eyes. "You know what I mean," he started explaining. "I like a bad girl," "A bed girl?" "Yeah, you know the kind who likes tattoos and is sexy, and has an attitude," he explained. Gary nodded.
Meanwhile, Paul and Ash were talking. Paul looked at Ash amusedly. "You lifted her up?" he asked. Ash nodded proudly. "I did." he confirmed. Paul snorted before chuckling. "Damn, who knew you had the energy to do that?" Ash groaned. "Paul!" Paul shrugged nonchalantly. "What? It's true." he reasoned. Then he tapped his chin. "Maybe you're strong cause god decided to give you strength instead of brains," he laughed lightly as Ash whacked his younger brother's head. "Paul! Come on, seriously?!" Ash whined. Paul's laughter died down. "But seriously, you like her that much?" he asked. Ash sighed. "It feels like she's my everything." Paul chuckled again as he looked out the window. "I feel the same way about Dawn." he murmured.
All of a sudden, his phone rang. Startled, both Paul and Ash looked at the caller I.D and exchanged glances. They called over their brothers who came over immediately. Each of them put their designated earpeice in their ear as to listen to the conversation silently. "Hello agents 302, 333, 249, and 492. This is Jimmy Kent, Agent 563. I have a new message from Mr. Brock,"
Drew and Paul exchanged surprised glances. What was this new mission? And why was it so important that he had to call them during school hours?
