As the brothers travel with their dragons Saphira and Thorn, they have no idea if they will live or die.

What if Saphira hatched when she was supposed to, on the day Eragon found her? What if he made the decision to stay in the Spine until she could fend for herself? Not much could change, could it?

Decades have passed since the fall of Galbatorix, the Riders have been reborn. A new evil reveals itself, one which even the Riders may be powerless to stop. Allies new and old will stand united once more. Rating may change later.

This is a future tale of Eragon and Saphira in the 21st century (or there abouts) it is my depiction of a fifth book written in inspiration from Christopher Paolinis' original Inheritance series. It is started after finishing the second book and waiting to start the third and fourth. There are some of the original characters those of which I give all credit to the original author.
