I'm so happy to be writing Vocaloid again. It's been quiet a while and I've had this story planned for so long now. I hope you all enjoy it. This is mostly a non-romantic sibling love story, but there'll be minor Miku x Len moments here, so if you ship that, you may also enjoy this. But I've made you all wait enough. Let's begin.

Their life was going really good. If only they had realized how much they were taking everything for granted. Rin Kagamine and Len Kagamine were possibly the closest duo of siblings you would ever meet. It can't be described by words how much they loved eachother. The 16 year old Rin loved her baby brother so much, he was the cutest thing ever to her and she couldn't have asked for any other brother. The 9 year old Len held his big sister in a really high regard, she was his hero, for him, she could do no wrong no matter what. All was going well until that dreaded day. The day that was going to change their lives forever.

"Big sis! Big sis! Listen to me!" The little boy tried to get his sister's attention.

"What is it Len?" Rin smiled as she looked at her brother.

"Remember the amusement park we went to that one day?" He reminded her.

"What about it?" Rin asked him.

"I wanna go again." The young boy said enthusiasticly.

"I'd love to, it's been months since we've went there," Rin told him "you should first ask mommy and daddy, they'd tell you when we should go,"

"Okay sis!" Len smiled and left the room to ask his parents.

"What a wonderful boy, he has a bright future." Rin was proud of her little brother, she went back to reading her magazine.

The boy went in the kitchen where his mother was washing their dishes.

"Mommy! Mommy!" Len was jumping as he approached his mother.

"What is it sweety?" His mother kindly asked.

"I wanna go to that amusement park again!" He said energetically.

"Of course, how can I say no to you." His mother said happily.

"YAY!" Little Len was so happy.

"You better go to daddy and tell him that we're going tomorrow, okay." His mother told him.

"I will." Len running went out of the kitchen.

The young boy went to the room with the TV, he knew his father was there watching TV.

"Daddy! Daddy!" Len approached his father.

"What happened?" His father asked.

"We're going to the amusement park again tomorrow." He told him.

"I was scared until you said the tomorrow part, I feel too tired to go anywhere right now." His father said in a relieved voice.

"I know, you work so hard," Len said "rest well."

"Don't worry, I'm also looking forward to finally spending time with you all tomorrow." He told his son.

Rin was quitely continuing to read her magazine. Then suddenly, Len came running back to the room smiling. She was happy to see him.

"They said yes! We're going tomorrow!" Len was so excited.

"That's great to hear." Rin said.

"Big sis..." Len said.

"What?" Rin asked.

"I can't wait to enjoy rides with you." She could feel the admiration he had for her in his voice.

"I'll make sure it's a great day for you." Rin put her magazine on the table, stood up from her chair, hugged Len tight and picked him up, not breaking the hug.

Len hugged her back.

It was the day. Len was so enthusiastic, unfortunately for him, it was gonna be one of the worst days of his life. Len was standing outside the house, waiting for his family to arrive so they could leave for the amusement park. The door opened and the three of them finally turned up and Len got really happy thinking he was gonna have a good time with his family today, boy was he wrong.

The family had made it half-way through their supposed destination, but then, they went through an empty alley, a place where everything was about to change. They saw a woman in a black jacket, sunglasses, and a black beanie approach them. They were alone with her in the alley.

"Stop it right there." She ordered them.

"Who even are you?" The father asked.

"That's none of you people's business." She said in a confrontational voice.

"What do you want from us?" The mother questioned.

"I'll tell you." She put her hand in her pocket and picked a hand-gun from, she pointed the gun at them.

"W-what are you doing?" Len was scared.

"Both of you, give me your wallets." She demanded and still had the gun pointed at them.

"You... you can't do this." The mother said in a scared voice.

"I will if you don't hand your wallets right now." She said in an intimidating tone.

"You're not gonna get away with this, even if you succeed you'll eventually get arrested." The father told her.

"Are you implying that you'll call the cops on me after I escape? That's it! I'm done with you!" She pointed her gun at their father and shot him, the bullet went straight through his neck.

"NOOOOOOO!" Their mother was devastated, there was nobody around to hear the gunshot.

"DADDY!" Len couldn't believe it, this woman had just shot their father.

"This can't be!" Rin dropped on her knees with tears in her eyes, she looked at the wound in the neck, it was too big, he had no odds at survival.

"Now give me your and his wallets!" She demanded the mother.

"HOW DARE YOU!" The mother screamed and attacked the woman, they wrestled around to get the posession of the gun, the gun struggle was intense.

"Be careful mom!" Rin yelled.

Their gun struggle was getting crazy. The mother finally successfully managed to make her drop the gun.

"Her gun is down, we should help mom." Rin told Len.

"Right." Len said.

"You're not getting away after doing that to my husband!" The mother yelled at the woman.

"Well, I suppose you wanna join him." The woman used her other arm to pick a knife out of her other pocket, and as the mother was distracted, she stabbed her in the abdomen.

The mother felt the stab, and fell on the ground.

"MOMMY!" Len was devastated.

"This wound in her abdomen, it's bleeding like crazy." Rin said, the tears in her eyes were increasing.

"Guess she won't survive either," the woman said "looks like I have to take their wallets on my own."

"You piece of human scum!" Rin ran towards her started wrestling her.

"Go sis! Destroy her!" Len cheered his sister on.

The 16 year old girl was having a tough time against an adult much tougher than her, but she was angry and she gave it her all. They had a knife struggle for over two minutes, but Rin managed to knock her on the ground, and stabbed her leg.

"AAHHH!" She screamed, and after enough blood loss, she passed out.

Rin checked her pulse "She's still alive." Rin told her brother.

"Stab her heart and kill her!" Len demanded.

"No." Rin refused.

"She took mommy and daddy away from us, she deserves it!" Len said with heavy tears in his eyes.

"Is that what mom and dad would want from us? To be murderers? No." Rin told him.

"But... but..." Len was still crying.

"NO! We're not murderers! We're better than her, which is why we won't kill her!" Rin said, she was also crying.

The two siblings hugged eachother and continued crying. This was suppose to be a happy day where they spent time with their parents, but it ended up being the day they lost their parents. A few hours after the incident, police arrived. They saw the two copses and couldn't believe it, they took the two children in their custody and arrested the woman. It was the worst thing that could've happened. But the Kagamine siblings only got closer due to this incident. They had a nice life recovery, as long as they had one another they were happy. Being together they had a great life for years to come.

I've already said it, and I'll say it again. It's good to write Vocaloid again.
