Marinette was panicking. What should she wear on her date? Her date! HER VERY FIRST DATE! She sighed for what felt like the fiftieth time as she turned her head and looked over at her kwami for help.
"Hey Tikki, what do you think I should wear?" She asked her little kwami friend as she came to rest on her shoulder.
"Hmm... let's see..." Tikki hummed softly to herself and scanned the racks of clothing carefully while glancing over at her charge every few seconds.
After a few more moments, the little ladybug kwami smiled brightly up at her charge. "How about this?" She asked while pointing to a black and purple dress with fishnet sleeves and a pair of shiny black flats.
Marinette's bluebell eyes seemed to light up and she nodded her head in delight.
"That's great! Thanks a lot Tikki!" Marinette called over her shoulder as she skipped to her bathroom to get ready.
She emerged from the bathroom a few minutes later with her hair in two pigtails as usual and a bright, cat-like smile crossing her normally pale face.
"How do I look?" The dark-haired girl asked, spinning around and showing off her new dress for Tikki to see.
Tikki flew around her charge's head, smiling brightly and nodding her head in approval. "You look really pretty Nettie!" The little ladybug kwami told her with a wide grin forming on her tiny face.
"Be sure to tell me all about your date when you come back!" Tikki called after the girl as she dashed down the stares and out the door.

In no time at all Marinette had arrived just outside the entrance of Starbucks. It was no secret that the bluenette loved coffee, so Starbucks was where she and Juleka would be meeting up at for their very first date as an official couple.
"Hi Jules!" Marinette called out as she raced over to the other girl. "I'm so sorry that I kept you waiting."
The taller girl smiled sweetly and gave the other girl a small peck on the cheek. "No need to worry Nettie, I haven't been waiting long."
Marinette's cheeks went bright red after the kiss had ended. She really loved this girl!
After a few moments of just standing in silence and a lot of staring into each other's eyes, it was the French-Chinese girl who finally spoke up and broke the ice.
"Come on Jules, let's head inside and we can talk more over a nice cup of coffee." Marinette smiled brightly at Juleka before turning around and making her toward the front door.
At hearing her girlfriend start to talk, the dark-haired goth girl shook her head and to clear her thoughts away and followed the shorter girl inside the coffee shop.
The bell on the top of the door rang as they stepped inside. Juleka stifled a laugh as she felt her girlfriend sigh and mutter a quiet "It's so warm in here. I don't want to go back outside."
"Hello ladies! What can I get for you?" The girl that greeted them looked to be about 18 or 19 with long dark brown hair that was tied back in a low ponytail. Her caramel-brown eyes were sparkling brightly like a.Christmas tree, reflecting like a pool and brimming with nothing but warmth and kindness.
It took about a minute or two for Juleka to be able to form a a coherent sentence properly. "Oh, I um, well each take a large hot coco please." She stammered a bit on her words but still managed to give the girl a friendly smile.
