I just wanted to let you know that as we advance, only Master Shifu's perspective will be presented. But in the end, there will be a third-person perspective. — Author

P.O.V of Shifu

"Tigress?" She was looking at her paws with widened eyes of annoyance, so I spoke as I drew nearer. She had not slept, based on what I could see.

"I do not get it," She stated

"What is it about Tigress that you do not understand?" I subsequently questioned her.

"Why did things go wrong?" She stated that her eyes were burning while she stared right into them. Why am I not entitled to it? she stated

"Tigress, what do you mean?" I query

"What went wrong? Why will someone not answer my question? Why am I always making mistakes? She uttered,

Did she become insane? No, it is just the years of thought, I reasoned as I searched for a monument.

"In Bao Gu, if I broke, people became afraid of me, which is understandable, but I wish they knew that all of my mistakes were unintentional; none of them were intentional. All my life, I tried to fulfill people's expectations of me, but I failed". She stated

I said quietly, "Tigress, I am proud of you."

Tigress made a shaky motion with her head. She hissed, "No, you aren't. "What caused your change of heart? You only say this because you believe I have finally gone insane".

"Tigress, how can I demonstrate that to you?"

She said, her head shaking with conviction, "No, you can't. You constantly led me to believe otherwise, so you could never have. I've done everything for you—trained my body until it was bruised and battered—and only for you to turn your back on me!" I flinched as she hissed. "I have made an effort, but I always fall short! And why!? Because I am Tigress! Tigress, the monster! The monster no one wants!" The monster you don't want!"

My eyes widened in disbelief as I gazed at her, completely speechless.

"Is it because I'm not a good enough replacement for Tai Lung?" she demanded. "So you brought someone else to replace me because I failed you? Or did you already know I would fail you from the moment you saw me?"

She never expressed these thoughts before, but they have surfaced beyond her control. "You never failed me." I quietly said

"Why am I not good enough for you?" she snarled at me. "When you took me out of the orphanage, I stupidly believed that I would be..." she trailed off, unable to finish the sentence. "But that was never your plan."

"I will not do the same again..." I said, keeping Tai Lung in mind.

She whispered, "Then how did it work this time?" and I could hear her loud and clear. "She was only with you for 13 years, yet she is your pride and joy, your little lotus blossom. But she does not know Kung Fu. What about me? I've been with you for over 20 years, and I've learned Kung Fu to gain your approval. Is it too much to ask you to see me as more than just another student who comes and goes?"

"Tigress I-"

"You happy now? 'Because I'm not," she said in a low and dangerous voice that made me flinch. "Why can't I have a family?"

I know the answer; it's because of me. before I could say anything, she started

"Viper has a family; Po has; everyone has; even you have a daughter, your dearest family. Then why can't I? What did I do wrong?"

Third-Person

"Viper has a family; Po has; everyone has; even you have a daughter, your dearest family. Then why can't I? What did I do wrong?"

Tigress froze like ice. She was shocked when Shifu did something she never thought he would do for the rest of her life.

He hugged her...

"I am sorry," he said, hugging her tightly. "I am so, so... sorry. I knew that you were... hurting, but never this much," he said, speaking the truth. "I always loved you... I loved you more than anything... I even loved you more than... Fang Li."

Her eyes widened in pure shock. She had no words to say. Before she can say something, he interrupts; it's his turn to speak.

"I was a fool when I thought keeping you at a distance would help both of us; it's not your fault, Tigress. I am sorry that you had to suffer. But I love you; you are my family, and I hope I am yours too." Tigress finally calmed down when Shifu finished his speech.

Tigress smiled softly, knowing that she had finally found her family.

The End

Hello guys, the author here (I thought you were dead): No, I am alive. I was so busy, and I wanted a break. I remember when I said that this would be fast. I am so sorry for that lie, but I am satisfied with this. Tigress has a happy ending. Again, I am so sorry for that lateness. I will try my best to post as early as possible this time, no kidding. I am sorry...
