(Dagobah Beach)

Izuku was brimming with excitement and dread. He was going to learn a new spell today! He had bargained with his mentor for an alternative sacrifice for the ability shown to him last time.

'At least it's not a living creature this time,' Izuku thought. He still didn't like the price he would have to pay.

Izuku looked down sadly at the small pile of All Might Merchandise. On top of the pile was a limited edition statue that his father had gotten when he was nine years old. 'I hope you don't get angry with me Dad.'

Izuku took out the wicked knife he had recently made. The ritual today required fresh blood. He only winced a little as he cut his palm, somewhat used to drawing blood now. 'Woah! When I cut my hand, the wound instantly healed! I wonder if that is due to the tanto?'

It was something for him to find out later as he needed to finish the ritual. Stones had been arranged around the merchandise and a bottle of incense was burning.

"I call upon the Star Spawn, as I have done as commanded tonight. I plead for whatever gift you wish to bestow upon me. Take my blood as tribute and show me the path to greatness," Izuku finished his incantation, and the blood hit the merchandise. The smoke from the incense widened and covered both merch and man,

Izuku's fallen blood bubbles as it turns corrosive and melts the statue. Smoke emerged to mix with incense and created a new cloud of bloody red fog.

Inside the fog, Izuku saw visions of ineffable creatures devouring suns and planets. All their eyes turned on him, pausing in their feeding. They began to cackle, making the teen's brain feel like it was set on fire as he suddenly became weak in the knees.

The remaining corrosive blood flew back into Izuku, straight up his nostrils. The burning sensation made Izuku cover his nose in some futile attempt to make the sudden pain go away. The smoke followed right behind it, snaking its way through Izuku's fingers and making the teen dizzy.

Izuku lost his balance and flopped to the ground. He didn't feel much pain as the sand softened his fall. He shivered as he felt a flow of strange energy go through him. He shakily stood up and eyed a smashed dishwater. Izuku raised his hand, feeling the energy at his fingertips.

"Eldritch Blast!" Green wisps of electricity weaved between his fingers before a beam of crackling dark green energy shot through the air and hit the dishwasher.

The appliance flew back a few feet and landed in two pieces. Izuku now sported a face splitting grin. "Wow! This is really powerful."

Knowing he didn't have limited uses for his new ability, Izuku shot off two more beams. He had destroyed the two halves of the broken dishwasher with them. He looked up to the night sky, staring at the stars. "Thank you."

He could have sworn a few stars became brighter. Izuku then went to his backpack and pulled out his spell book. On his cantrips page, there was the newly added Eldritch Blast. Underneath, there were lines filled with question marks.

Izuku smiled with excitement as he began to leave. "I wonder how I can get this stronger."

(Later that night)

Yagi was back at the beach again. He had been enjoying his night, watching an ancient American movie about a hitman grieving the loss of his wife and seeking revenge on his old criminal buddies. He then felt a sharp pain in the injury that the fallen Demon Lord had given him and One for All had guided him back to the beach.

He had found the black sand had increased in area again. He could feel the strange energy coming off the sand, letting him know someone had been here recently. 'I barely missed them.'

Off to the side of the sand, he saw the dishwasher he had planned to pick up tomorrow. It was torn into pieces. 'Was this some type of fire quirk? I saw burn marks but the damage doesn't match fire damage.'

He rubbed his chin as he got closer to examine the damage. 'It must be a quirk that has slashing capabilities too. The appliance was cut through, not cleanly though. A combination of fire and slashing to incinerate metal? Potentially powerful.'

Yagi moved over to the black sand. He saw nothing on it that could tell him what had happened.

When he took his first step onto the strange terrain, the hair on the back of his neck stood up. He turned around to see nothing. 'Someone with a powerful stealth quirk is watching me. It's concerning that I cannot see them.'

Yagi did not have the strength, speed, and durability of his true form right now, but his senses were still up to par. His blue eyes shined dangerously as he kept scanning the area for threats.

One for All was tingling underneath his skin, ready to be unleashed. The man hadn't felt this confrontational in a while. 'This person is obviously powerful.'

When he took his foot off the strange sand, the feeling of being watched was gone. Yagi was confused, he did not understand why this patch was so important to his unknown stalker. 'I will figure out who you are. You can't hide from me forever.'

Yagi now had another mystery on his hand. He would require help on this, as he did not have the time to monitor this place.

"Let's get this destroyed dishwater out of here," he said to himself, putting on a pair of leather gloves. He chucked the pieces into the back of his pickup truck.

Yagi eyed the mountain of trash next. 'In a few months, this place will be spotless!'

(Aldera Middle School Library)

It had been two weeks since Izuku gained his newest ability. The stars had been quiet for the time being, sending only vague grumbles here and there. Izuku didn't worry since this was not the first time they had gone on vacation. 'I wonder what do they do during this time?'

Izuku had spent the time to openly study some of his classmates' quirks. 'Some of them even let me ask questions! Akari really helped with my new spell I was able to craft!'

The Fire Hand quirk user only Izuku to question him if he was able to copy some of Izuku's math homework for a couple of days. Izuku was hesitant at first but he felt some sort of niggling sensation in the back of his mind that got him to agree. 'I was on the cusp of a breakthrough. That's the only reason I accepted his deal!'

The questions let Izuku create the spell, Burning Hands. The spell contained Izuku's understanding of his father's quirk and Akari's quirk. Hisashi's quirk produced the roaring flame while Akari's produced the origin point of the flames, the hands. The fire produced was also more intense than his cantrip Ember Breath and had more range.

'Mom and Dad were really impressed with it,' Izuku thought, scribbling some notes, 'Ever since that night I got Eldritch Blast, I find analyzing easier. Maybe this will help me make new spells.'

Izuku had also noticed he felt a pull, or connection, to certain quirks since that night. 'I think I'm about to create a few new spells. I feel like I will be ready for the UA entrance exam at this rate.'

Izuku had been focusing on a certain pro hero who specialized in rescue operations the last few days. He hoped to gain something before the entrance exam.

"Midoriya," Izuku looked up to see Asari had approached him.

"Asari-san, you're early!" She sat down beside him.

"You said you had something to show me and I didn't want whatever it is to cut into our schedule," she explained, "Plus I have my club to go to afterward."

Izuku looked around the library. It was mostly empty and the librarian had his back facing the pair. "I wanted to show you a new ability of mine."

"Why?" She asked curtly.

"I'm sure it's something you should be able to do with some training," Izuku said, balling up a piece of paper. His tome was opened. "Catapult."

The ball was enveloped with green energy before it flew across the library, right into a trash can. "Woot!"

The librarian's head snapped towards the unnamed student who made the noise. Izuku and Asari watched as the librarian marched over to the unfortunate student and reprimanded the poor teen.

Asari chuckled, while Izuku looked away and she rolled her eyes. "Midoriya, this is not your fault. Now explain how you think you can do that."

"Your quirk levitation lets you move objects ten pounds and under telekinetically, albeit at slow speed," Izuku started, forgetting about the incident, "I was sure there was a way to rectify this. My inspiration was my mother's quirk, Pull."

"It is also a telekinetic quirk, but she can only move things the size of her palm or smaller. And only towards her palms," Izuku said, "I applied that vertical movement to your quirk and tried to figure out how to control the direction of the movement."

Asari just nodded as he continued to speak. "When I created Burning Hands, I found myself being able to direct the flames in one direction. Using similar mental functions, I was able to create the same movements."

"Midoriya," Asari interrupted him, "How does this help me at all?"

"S-sorry," he apologized, seeing she was a bit annoyed, "I was thinking if you concentrated more on the speed, you can affect how fast an object moves. I was thinking of starting with exercises to concentrate on getting something to come to you as quickly as possible. Next would be exercises pushing items away from you at the same speed. Pull and Catapult have certain sensations to them than I can compare, maybe this will help you."

"Good idea. Send me the notes after we study," she said as she felt a headache coming, "I want to start with some of the biology homework."

(Dagobah Beach)

Izuku was back at his old haunt. The Stars had finally awakened or come back from vacation and demanded something of the teen. Now Izuku was here, with a cooler filled with ice. "This is so weird."

Inside the cooler, was a squid on ice. He had bought the thing from the market today, getting a suspicious look because he was acting so nervous. Plus he had come right before closing due to having to work up the nerve to buy it. 'Plus they wanted it as fresh as possible.'

Izuku put down the cooler and his backpack. He pulled out a Wash blanket from when the Pro Hero was still a sidekick. Izuku had gotten the blanket from his mother when he was five years old.

Next, he pulled out four pieces of All Might merchandise. One 1/8th figurine of the hero in his silver age costume and an All Might metal mask was pulled out first. Next was a replica of All Might's hand doing a thumbs up, with a plaque saying number one teen fan in 20XX. Finally, a toy replica of the Might Mobile was taken, the vehicle the number one hero used in America with David Shield.

These were some of Izuku's favorite pieces in his collection. He placed the four pieces on the corners of the Wash Blanket. Izuku then pulled out the treasure in the cooler, a squid carcass, and placed it right in the middle of the blanket. Izuku then drew circles of Kanji around each piece of merchandise.

"Here we go trusty evil looking knife," Izuku muttered, before slicing his hand. He felt no pain as blood gushed out and made sure the blade was covered in the spilled blood. His grip on the tanto tightened as he tried to control his shaking arm. He took a few deep breaths. "Let's do this."

Izuku started to carve his name into the carcass. He began to feel queasy as the flesh began to burn for some unknown reason. The smell and the act were deeply unsettling to him. 'Its big eye is just staring at me!'

Izuku knew he wasn't imagining stuff since the eyes changed suddenly to his familiar green. 'Oh Kami, I know I shouldn't do this!'

He was too far in now and he knew couldn't back out. He began his invocation. "Oh Mother Goddess, as your humble servant, I come to you with tribute, my blood, and one sacrifice. Please bless me with a measly spawn of yours, one to further my ambitions. Whatever price you may add, I accept."

He slammed his hand on the blanket, the Kanji turning into emerald fires. The merchandise was consumed by the flames, taking the blanket with them. The fire spread to the carcass, making it levitate into the air. The squid's body did a twirl, extinguishing the flames. "Qwib!"

The teen stared at the now living squid. Once it was all white, but now it was dark purple with green spots. Its eyes were glowing green, brighter than his own. "Qwib!"

"Um, hello?" the being twirled around Izuku, as if it dancing, "What's your name?"

"Qwib Qwib!" It shouted as it stopped in front of the teen.

"Qwib Qwb?"

"Qwib Qwib!" The squid suddenly latched on his face. Izuku flailed his arm and tried to remove the creature from his face. He fell to the ground when he felt like someone had hit his brain with a pick axe.

Knowledge flowed through his head as the squid finally let go. "Meh!"

Izuku struggled to stand up, using nearby trash to prop himself up. The nearby shuffling of feet alerted Izuku to someone's presence. He turned to see a skeletal blonde man approach him.

Qwib Qwib did not take the sudden intrusion well. It picked up a fallen street sign and pointed it at the stranger.

Izuku stood in front of the squid. "Qwib Qwib no!"

"Qwib Qwib yes!"

Izuku stared at it. "Wait, did you just speak normally?"

"Meh!"

"Excuse me, young man," the stranger said, unbothered by the floating squid, "What are you doing out so late? It's almost curfew."

"I was doing quirk practice! Okay bye!" Izuku shouted as he grabbed the squid's tentacle and ran off. The man was left perplexed.

AN: Do you all think the incantations were good? I was thinking about adding them to the older chapters.
