"I can see why you're upset, but I think you're going overboard a little with the whole not talking to him thing," said Ryuko.
"But I don't want to chance hurting him," said Sawuta as she messed with the shoulder of her shirt.
"I thought you lost the pain in that shoulder a few years ago," said Ryuko.
"It comes back every so often," said Sawuta as she moved the shirt out of the way of a bullet wound that had healed.
"I still can't believe you were shot by a girl because her boyfriend talked to you when you were ten," said Ryuko.
"That's why I don't like my hair being pulled up," said Sawuta.
"If people can't see my face they leave me alone," she said.
"But that's something you should tell Akio; besides, things will never change unless you want them to," said Ryuko.
"Maybe you're right," said Sawuta. The next day, Sawuta called Akio out to the roof of the school.
"So, you decide you want to talk to me?" asked Akio.
"Yes, and there is something I haven't told you," said Sawuta. She then went on to tell him about how she got shot while she was away and how Ryuko was the only one she had told.
"Why did no one ever tell me about this?!" asked an enraged Akio.
"I told them not to, I didn't want you or Ryuu to know," said Sawuta.
"That summer you came back when you refused to challenge me and never wore anything less than a short sleeve shirt," said Akio.
"I didn't want to hurt it or let you see it all summer," said Sawuta.
"What kind of idiot am I?" asked Akio while sitting down.
"I couldn't even tell that the girl I liked was hurt, just how dumb am I?" he asked while hitting the fencing.
"Liked?" asked Sawuta with a surprised expression.
"And still do, in fact I have had a crush on you since we were seven," said Akio with a bright red face.
"Well I have had one on you since we were five," said Sawuta as she sat down next to him.
"Really?" asked Akio.
"Really," said Sawuta. The two then slowly leaned in before kissing.
"About time," said Ryuu, who had been listening in from the stairs.
The end.
