Chapter 31:
"Memory loss!?" they all ask in unison, it was hard to believe, yet here they are, Aiden doesn't remember anything, it's as if his brain got shut off!
"I, I can't explain it, his nanites are active, but… it's as if they refuse to fix any damage to his brain." Frasier explained.
Brie turns to Sheppard and scowls at him, "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!".
John lifts his hands in defence, "I didn't know the stun gun was gonna scramble his wires! I swear!".
Teal'c then had a thought, "Correction, the stun guns all function on a frequency, it is a possibility the stun gun changed the frequency of the nanites, that they operate on a separate frequency, beyond Aiden's brain functions.".
Jack went to dig something out of his ear, "English, please.".
Sam came to his rescue, "Basically, the nanites and our son's brain is not working together, and we need to give them a confidence boost.".
"WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST SAY SO!?".
Kai sat in the back, thinking, "The sarcophagus, Kinsey used it to turn Aiden on us, I believe the sarcophagus is our first step.".
Sam nods, "I'll get my lab ready, make sure to talk to Aiden, see if we can get some of this sorted out." She leaves quickly.
Jack smiles, "Man, I love it when she goes full general, it's really hot.". Daniel, who went unnoticed in the back, laughed out loud, "Jack? Likes dominant women? I never saw that coming.".
Jack gives his long-time friend, the stink eye, "A relationship is symbiotic, I just have kinks, that's it.". Brie snuck off, she needed to speak to him. Swiping the access card, she walks in, Aiden seemed so lost, she never saw him like this before. "Aiden?".
Aiden looks in her direction, "Do I know you?". Brie nods and slowly approaches him, "My name is Brie, I am your girlfriend.".
"Really? Wow, you are very beautiful." He said, blushing slightly. Brie giggles, his boyish charm still there. "And you are one handsome devil.".
Aiden looks her deep in the eye, "How did we met?".
Brie sits down in the chair next to him, "We met during our deployment, we uh… originally started out as friends with benefits.".
Up on the observation deck, Jack and Sam both turned an odd shade of white, "Wait, they had sex before they started dating!? Is he crazy!? He's only nineteen!" Jack was very disappointed in his son. "What was he thinking!? Oh God, what if she's pregnant?".
Sam kisses her husband's cheek, "If she was, I doubt Aiden would've allowed her onto the field.". After calming down, Jack looks at the couple, "I just hope they get married before they have kids.".
Teal'c observed the couple, "She completes him, their bond is unbreakable, I do believe we have nothing to worry about, O'Neill.". That made Jack feel a whole lot better. "Appreciate it T. Wait, where's Kai?".
To answer that question, Kai went to Gabriela's holding cell, he was about to demand answers. Opening it he marches in, Gabriela sees him and smiles, "Aiden, you came for me.".
Kai grabs her by the throat, "I am not Aiden, I am his very pissed of identical twin who feels like bashing some heads in, now WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY BROTHER!".
"Aiden doesn't have a brother! He doesn't! He used to sneak me into his bedroom, where we used to make out for hours, oh but just wait until I finally get him inside of me, and I give birth to his child.".
"That's not going to happen! I will make sure of that." Kai sneers, "My brother, what did you do to him?".
"I don't know what even happen to him!" she chokes out. Kai drops her, "If I find out you are lying, I will kill you myself.".
