Sorry for posting a day late, yesterday was a holiday for me.

…..

"Ace we are going to be late," Graham shouts up the stairs anxiously waiting to see Ryan again.

"I'm coming," Ace says as she walks down wearing a pantsuit. "How do I look?"

"Amazing, you always look amazing to me though." Graham offers his arm for her to take and they leave after locking up the house.

"Are you looking forward to seeing Ryan?"

"I am, I get my three favorite people in one room."

"I am one of your favorites?"

"You are," he takes one hand off the wheel, takes ahold of Ace's and brings it to his lips, "you have no idea."

"I have an inkling, you are one of my favorite people too." She smiles at him as he brings their hands down to rest on the gear shift. They continue the drive with some smalltalk. When they get to a small agreed upon location, Ace and Graham walk in the building hand-in-hand and see Yaz was the first to arrive. "Hello Yaz."

"Ace?"

"Ryan invited her, saying she is a part of this family. I agree."

"I also agree. I can see the time she officially becomes a part of this family."

"What do you mean," Ace asks.

"Wedding bells?"

"Not you too."

"Who else is saying that?"

"My brother."

"See even someone who has only seen the two of you together a few times can see it happening."

Ryan comes up behind them, "see what is happening?"

"Oh just that one day you will probably be having a Step-Nan, when though with how slow these two are moving, who knows when it is happening."

"Who is the one who has been," Graham stops Ace from saying more by turning around and greeting Ryan louder then he would have. "Sorry Ryan," Ace apologizes and gives the younger man a hug.

"It's ok, Yaz is like a sister that way riling someone up."

"Now it's time for me I guess."

"Well, Graham and I did see you coming back a lot while you were staying with me."

"Ace."

"I have to."

"I know."

"You know Grandad, I am going to be moving out of the flat, maybe you should too." Graham's eyes go wide as Ace smiles a bit at the idea.

"You have been spending most of your nights at mine anyway since Yaz left."

"Some before."

"Please don't say more Yaz."

"Don't worry Ryan I didn't hear anything go bump in the night."

"My god Yaz, why must you put those pictures in my head, ahhhh," Ryan starts to rub his temples.

"How about we change the subject, to something else. Ryan, can you tell us what your assignment was."

"I can't, and this reunion can only last a few hours. My meeting with Kate lasted longer than I thought it would." Ace knows how much this disappoints Graham so she grabs his hand to bring him some sort of comfort. "Graham?"

"It's ok Ryan, at least I get to see you."

"And I you, and you two. Thank you Ace for keeping him happy."

"He makes me happy too."

"They are sickening at times," adds Yaz.

"I can't wait for the time to come for you Yaz," Ace teases her knowing that there is someone that has feelings for the younger woman.

"Like who."

Before Ace can reply Graham announces, "I think it's time for some food."

"I agree, do you not have sandwiches in your jacket?"

"No Yaz, I do not, there hasn't been a need to do that since I left the TARDIS."

"I know, the two of you sneak off enough."

"You two still do that, everyone knows you are together."

"Sometimes its good, just to have lunch the two of us away from prying eyes." Ace informs them.

Graham steps away from everyone to order food knowing what everyone likes. When he is done making the call he stands there watching them realizing that the feelings he had been feeling for years are gone now. He loves those three in the room, in different ways of course. Ryan and Yaz, he loves them like a parent would love a child. Ace, he loves her more with each passing day and thinks he sees Grace again standing in the corner with a large smile pointing at Ace's left hand as a gesture to marry her.

Ace looks at Graham and follows his line of sight and sees nothing. She goes over to him, "what do you see?"

"That I am ready."

"Ready for what?"

"Ready for whatever our life together can bring us."

"Ok?" Ace says with an arching eyebrow.

"Can we talk more about it later?"

"Sure, everything is good I hope."

"More than good," he lifts up her chin and gives her a small sweet kiss.

"Good."

Yaz and Ryan stopped talking and started watching what was going on between the two other adults, "I really think that Ace and Graham are going to get married one day. When I was staying with Ace I saw many moments like this; a tender moment. Are you ok with it Ryan?"

"I had a feeling with my check in with Kate each week I would ask how you all were doing, Kate would tell me how she saw those two laughing or how Graham asked for a long lunch and came back with a smile on his face. That is why I told him to bring Ace. I already saw the love on their faces before I left. I can see it has grown and how they both calm each other. I just hope I can be back in time for the wedding. Speaking about all of that, who was Ace teasing you about?"

"Her name is Neeka, and we are just friends," Yaz says, cheeks growing pink.

"I think it is a little more than that."

"I don't know."

"You know she would want you to move on."

"I do, and it has almost been a year since I left her in October."

"Wow a year ago, that means they have been together for around 6 months."

"You have been gone for about 4 of them."

"I know, I left you alone with the two lovebirds."

"You did, though they seem more than happy."

"They do," Ace and Graham stop sharing the small kiss both with large smiles on their faces.

They turn to face the two, "lunch should be here soon. I know what everyone likes." The day continues on. Over the next year Ace and Graham not only move in together they have a small wedding ceremony.

The End
