Chapter 4: The weekend

***Story Start***

Its currently the 19th of October, the day the shinobi world died with Team 7 being its final survivors. With no access to food or water this was the forgone conclusion, unless Kaguya generous enough to set free the shinobi of her infinite Tsukuyomi. It was hard to hope for the best so they are grieving to have some closure. Sakura even shed some tears as they wrote down all their names and told stories about their comrades reminiscing the old days. They were going to one-day place a stone tablet in the cemetery with all those names.

"Okay Naruto you can talk about what you were so excited to tell us yesterday" Sakura asked.

"Nah I'll save it until Monday. It's a lot of stuff to unpack so it's better we just rest this weekend" Naruto replied. Resting on the weekend was a new thing to Naruto who normally trained all day everyday but this concept of resting was introduced to him by Yuna who was shocked that all Naruto does is train, which is how they got to discussing about sports, ninjas and magic tricks. He didn't expose the fact he was a ninja but when asked what was his motivation to work so hard, he jokingly replied that he wanted to be the most powerful ninja. She rolled her eyes at that and jokingly reprimanded him that he was being racist despite the fact his love for Japanese culture pushed him to learn the language. But anyway resting on the weekend wasn't a foreign concept in the shinobi world, it's just that Naruto didn't do it.

"Okay but I do want to hear more about your friend Yuna" Sakura smirked.

"What about her?" Naruto asked

"Do you plan on studying with her more?" Sakura continued smiling.

"Of course, she was a real help and really understanding. She didn't mind that I was an idiot" Naruto

"She sounds like a keeper. You might not get this chance again" Sasuke chimed in with a smirk of his own.

"Actually Naruto had charmed a few girls back in our dimension. He could have even impregnated one of them" Sakura stated with a sort of incredulous look on her face. She couldn't believe half of it herself. Well there was also Hinata so maybe he could have impregnated two girls in his lifetime if he played his cards right.

"Yeah I could have, w-wait what. Who wanted to have kids with me?' Naruto question with a surprised look on his face.

"I don't know about Hinata but I do know that Shion was hinting at it when you promised to help her pass down her priestess powers." Sakura smirked.

"Of course I promised. I thought it was some ritual to pass down her powers, not have baby with her" Naruto argued.

"Her mother had the same powers as her so the only way would have been through childbirth like how kekkei genkai are normally passed down to the next generation. You must have left quite the impression on her" Sakura said.

"Wow. Maybe I am handsome."

"No."

"Maybe without the whiskers"

"You're not ugly"

"Thanks guys, I'm really feeling the love." Naruto snarked back.

"So when are you meeting her again" Sakura asked.

"I don't know but she gave me her number so we can keep in touch" Naruto replied.

"I think it is the whiskers" Sasuke stated with a mock shocked look his face.

"HA HA. Funny guy" Naruto sarcastically replied.

"Come on phone her already Naruto. She might not have boyfriend yet" Sakura stated excitedly.

"I can't just to go out and date her. Not only is she busy studying for her exams but we also just met yesterday" Naruto explained.

"She's studying? How old is she?"

"She's seventeen. Did you know that people here have to study for 12 years and then have an option to study even further in university which can take another 12 years to be a doctor. Like seriously Sakura how did you do it so fast?" Naruto asked with a look of awe on his face.

"Lots of late nights and I have an eidetic memory" Sakura replied.

"What's that?" Naruto asked.

"This girl is an angel for dealing with you" Sasuke claimed with a disappointed look on his face.

"It's photographic memory and no I don't have it I was just joking. I did work really hard though" Sakura tiredly answered Naruto

"Well she didn't believe that I knew a friend who became doctor in like 3 years so maybe you have some stuff to talk about if you ever get to meet her."

"Get into a relationship with her before you introduce us. I don't want to waste time knowing someone who's not going to be readily in our lives."

"Contact her already and mention that you are grieving the death of your friend, ladies like a brooding man."

"But she already knows that I'm an orphan and was planning on grieving the deaths of my family today though she did originally think I was from a divorced family when I tried to joke that a kitsune caused the death of my parents. Something about kitsune changing into woman and causing trouble in society" Naruto explained.

"And what? Did you tell her that you're a ninja too?" Sasuke asked.

"No, only that when I was kid I trained to be a ninja and she took it as a joke." Naruto replied.

"Does she have any knowledge jutsu and the like. You did sense some groups with chakra here" Kakashi asked.

"No. she thinks that ninjas of the past used magic tricks instead of real ninjutsu. She called me an idiot after that and explained to me that magic is an intellectual pursuit based on trickery and deception of your perception" Naruto replied. That revelation explained why so many people didn't have access to chakra as Naruto sensed days ago. He could still sense something from people like their life force which is how he guided them to the city, carefully avoiding the other sources of chakra.

Even though they were wary of Naruto's willingness to tell the truth, but were happy that idea of warriors with chakra was a foreign idea to most people. It meant that their willingness to hide most of their abilities was a good move and that some of their antics can be explained away as magician-like thieves.

"I guess for the sake of peace the most powerful people don't take advantage of the masses. They probably still pass down their skills to the next generation but not spread it like how the six paths of sage did in our world" Kakashi explained.

"Yeah maybe to a degree which maybe is how this world has 6 billion people on earth but they still had many and I mean many wars that has killed millions, maybe even billions. And they have nuclear weapons so I wouldn't exactly call these people weak. They even have guns which is fortunately illegal in this country except for some parts of the world" Naruto explained with bleak look on his face.

"What are nuclear weapons?" Sasuke asked. The shinobi were familiar with the concept of guns and Kakashi more so since he been on missions to suppress such technology. They were faster than bullets produced by weapons and could cast jutsu faster than them too so the missions weren't the most difficult but were definitely annoying.

"Nuclear are like these massive bombs that have a side effect of residual radiation that can last for years. That's how World War 2 got concluded" Naruto explained.

"So power is needed to achieve peace. I guess nothing changes" Sasuke complained.

"At least the victors aspired for peace and freedom, but yeah power is needed for your ideals to come to fruition" Naruto stated slightly depressed with that fact.

"But at least she gave an idea for a job we can do?" Naruto exclaimed trying uplift his friends.

"I also got idea from a lady friend about a profession we can pursue" Kakashi spoke up.

"Well it's not as good as mine I bet because we can professional athletes" Naruto joyfully added.

"Mines similar. We can be professional fighters. They are also considered athletes and it's more line with our profession. We don't have to waste as much time trying to adopt new skills that the best of the best have" Kakashi retorted.

These ideas were good because it meant they were paid to fight and be athletic. Additionally, based on the general chakra levels of these people they might have to only focus on taijutsu for professional fighting.

"Yeah but we're way stronger and faster than them. Did you know that the fastest men cover 100m in under 10 seconds and strongest men can only lift less than a ton, and all that is with the possible use of steroids. We would dominate in most athletic events" Naruto replied.

"Yes, that's true if they allowed the use of chakra. Did you know that we are normal humans without the use of chakra. These athletes may even outperform us since this has been their disciplines since a young age. Like how Gai and Rock lee would outperform most people in taijutsu." Kakashi corrected.

"Then how do we stop using chakra? Is that the anbu training you were going to give us?" Naruto asked.

"Yes it is. Now that you are not a jinchuriki and I have lost Obito's sharingan, we can suppress our chakra. This is definitely an essential since if Naruto can sense other chakra they could possibly sense our own, so to properly integrate with society we will learn our last skill and make our chakra signature disappear from detection." Kakashi explained.

"Then how much stronger are we with chakra?"

"For a trained shinobi, at least hundred times stronger"

That shocked Naruto. He always wanted Sakura's strength without going into sage mode but here he is being a hundred times stronger than civilians. What scared him even more was that there are people as strong if not stronger than Team 7 in this world.

"Okay we'll make that our plan A. Kakashi's book will be plan B and pursuing education and finding a stable normal job will be plan C." Sakura spoke up.

"So we can stop stealing?" Naruto asked hopefully.

"No not yet We still have to do some rounds before we stop stealing, we must master chakra suppression before pursuing an athletic career and find a publishing company for Jiraiya's books."

"Hai sensei" said the rest of Team 7.

Unknowingly it was at that moment the six paths powers that Naruto and Sasuke disappeared, leaving them undetected by external forces.

A/N:

Hey guys I'm back. I wanted to make clear that this team 7 has experienced everything in the Naruto franchise so that includes filler, movies and games. I wanted to make them as strong as possible for the Dxd verse but looking at my plans now I may have gone a little overboard. They will be way stronger than they are now so please bear with until we get there.

And the gun thing. I'm not the most proficient powerscaler nor do I like the wanking they do but I will have Team 7 be faster, hit harder and be able to tank bullets (since they can tank much more powerful jutsu). Their penetrating power will allow them to at least cut skin and possibly enter their body… possibly cause I'm still debating whether I should make them bulletproof are not. I mean Goku was at like 12 so I'm leaning towards the idea that they are bulletproof. I know Naruto characters can die from knives and swords but they are often handled by a shinobi who, in my head canon, can throw them faster than bullets and slash at mach speeds. Yes, I'm going to make Team 7 a threat at this level of power, and they will become even more dangerous.

The '100 times stronger' fact is from my own calculations when I measured Naruto throwing himself. He could do it at Kunai speeds which was fast enough to catch Sasuke off guard. That means Naruto treats his own body weight as negligible weight which you need to be at least a hundred times stronger to do. But the calculation was comparing Naruto's weight to a baseball. It's 342 times lighter than his body and He can throw his bodies faster than baseball players so I'm really lowballing it. I nerfed the characters somewhat since Naruto and Boruto have some inconsistencies when it comes to their feats but I'll have exact numbers in my fic. They are not as accurate as they could be because I don't know a lot of the exact effects training has to the human body but I will guess with precise calculations. If you ask I'll show numbers generally specific to Team 7, I only care to make them make sense in the dxd world.
