In honor of the fact that most of these Tributes probably will have played at least three times.

It's been 50 years since the rebellion, and the Capitol has taken over once again. The country of Panem was forcefully separated back into 12 districts. Families were separated, friends were separated, homes were destroyed, jobs were assigned, and entire lives were changed. Capitol propaganda was spread everywhere, people were too afraid to start a rebellion.

(SYOT/OPEN) "On the 200th anniversary of the Hunger Games, to remind the rebels that the pain they caused Panem was equally as harmful to them, any time throughout the Games that a tribute injures or kills another tribute, they themselves will be pained. Additionally, as an act of grace on the two-hundredth anniversary, the Capitol will be sending up two of their own tributes."

All it took was one faltering step to change the course of events. What if when Gale got caught by peacekeepers, Katniss was able to shoot them? Freeing him. What if he recognised the bombs he designed are the ones that just hit? Could he reach Prim on time?

AU. Katniss is at death's door on Reaping Day, so is excused from the 74th Reaping in District Twelve. Thus Katniss is not there to volunteer when Prim is Reaped. AU: Peeta and Prim's names were never drawn, and now as Peeta walks his son to school for his first day, he has a decision to make. ANGST, ONESHOT!

'If he laughs one more time, I'll shoot him,' I growl to Peeta. When Haymitch shows up to watch her dance lesson with Peeta, Katniss isn't pleased.

The four year Rebellion of the Thirteen Districts of Panem has failed. District Thirteen is now a desolate wasteland. "Peacekeepers" have taken over and are now running a tight ship. Darian Hale, son of the District Two rebel leader, thinks that this is the end, but he has no idea what is in store when the Capitol comes up with their ultimate form of punishment.

"On the one hundredth anniversary, as a reminder to the rebels that even victories withhold horrors and difficulties, the male and female tributes will be reaped from the offspring of the district's Victors within the eligible reaping ages."
