Chapter 1: The Packs Begins

A young boy with blonde hair, blue eyes, looking like the was lost in a military base. Why was he on a military base, you may ask, Well, his father had a meeting and begged to go. The boy was calling for help when he stumbled on an incubator with abnormal looking eggs, and it piqued the boy's curiosity. There he was looking at the eggs he noticed cracks started to appear on the eggs they were hatching.

The boy was ecstatic this will be the first time he ever saw and an egg hatch. The first thing he was a reptilian head break through the other eggs followed suit, the boy thought they looked cute. The boy said, "You four hungry?"

The creatures were chirping similarly to that of a bird or that is what he believed was close to it. The boy looked around the place and some preserved meat in a fridge and fed them it. The boy said, "There you go eat up."

The boy was sitting on the ground with the creatures, feeding and petting them while they're eating. Some time while later, a group of adults came in one of the men said, "Jaune are you all right?"

The boy now identified as Jaune said, "Yes Dad, look at what I found. Hey two no fighting there's more where that came from!"

The of the little ones, more specifically the one with the blue stripe, stopped the fight. When the two stopped, Jaune threw another piece of meat for them. The adults, after getting over the shock, tried to get close, only for the little ones to hiss at them in warning. The boy's father stepped forward. At first, they were on guard, then when they got a good smell they could Jaune all over him. The man got down on one knee and said, "I see you have taken my son as your alpha little raptor, don't worry, we'll take good care of you."

One of the other men said, "Mr. Arc, these Velociraptors are Atlesion property."

The man replied," On less you have a way to remove the imprint these four have on Jaune they are basically useless to you all."

The men in the room could not argue with that logic then a man with a clover pin on his shirt made a call. Not long after, a man with black hair and a rim of white going around the bottom of the fade he had in his hair.

The man said," Johnathan."

Johnathan said," James, so this is one of your ideas?"

James said in I'm done with this world tone," This was one of the Council's idea while I admit on paper it looks like a good idea. Even I have to admit the risk out weight the potential rewards, and I was out voted."

James said," Johnathan, why don't you take Jaune and the raptors outside while talk to my men."

Jaune was walking away with his father and said," See you in a bit uncle Ironwood."

After the boy walked a way, James rounded on the soldiers and said," Does any you idiots have any idea what you have done why was and five year kid in a military installation was unsupervised do you have any idea how dangerous that could have been for us. We were lucky it was just this project, what would have happened if he had come across some of the more dangerous aspects of this facility!"

The man bowed in shame. James was not finished," Now thanks to your carelessness we have four raptors imprinted on a five-year-old child. If I do say so myself, four raptors that we spent millions of liens to make and that not even counting the potential risk the boy's life if the raptors decide one of should be alpha when he gets older. Clover I need you to get Johnathan for me we need to talk about the situation. Watch the kid while we talk, remember these may look cute, but they are animals and no animal is truly tamed.

Clover said," Yes sir, General Ironwood."

Sometime later in Ironwood's office:

James said," Johnathan we have a problem those raptors won't leave him and when they get older, they may challenge of title of alpha of the pack. I know you would rather not get any of your children involved in the huntsmen life in any form, but if you want your son to live long he'll need to be able to beat them if they think he's too weak to lead."

Johnathan said," I know Jaune wants to be a huntsman at least now I know with these four he'll have something he can rely on when he's on solo hunts."

James said," Good you take your son and those raptors home I'll handle the idiots on the seat of power."

Twelve years later…

Jaune is now seventeen, riding a motorcycle matching his colour scheme white with gold highlights (For the curious ones it looks like a BMW M 1000 XR with a sidecar.) Jaune pulled up into an in the parking lot. Of a nightclub named The Club, Jaune is wearing a white chest plate with gold accents, white metal arm braces and metal gloves. Jaune entered the building with another man that he had tied up. Jaune was heading towards a man dressed in black and white with a red tie talking to a blonde hair girl wearing a yellow vest, under a brown jacket and biker shorts. Jaune said," Hey, Uncle Xiong."

Xiong said," Jaune, have a seat."

Xiong snapped his finger and said," Boys take him away, I apologise for the inconvenience but have the best trackers I know."

Jaune said," Thinking nothing of it, I know how important your cover is?"

The girl next to them said," Excuse me? What cover?"

Jaune asked," She didn't know?"

Xiong said," I was just about to find out why she's here."

Jaune said," The information broker Junior is just a cover. Hei Xiong is an ex-huntsman run this selling info to huntsmen and criminals. Then reports the information he gets from the criminals to the proper authorities."

Xiong said," Back surgery is no joke. I can still fight, but I'll never be mission fit again, so I help out however I can."

The girl said," I feel better about this I had planned to strong am you, so I wouldn't to pay a criminal. How much to for info on this woman?"

Xiong took a look at the picture and said, "Yeah, I know her. Wait, you're ray's girl! What I have isn't worth much, so it's on the house. This is what I know after you were born, she when back to Mistral to family there. From what let slip Qrow when he got drunk one she checks up on all of you every now and again."

The girl said," How?"

Xiong said," Her semblance; she can make portals to anyone she has a bond with."

The girl thanked Xiong, give a tip left, Jaune talked for a bit with Xiong and his bouncers and took his leave.
