Carly Spencer is at Kelly's; she was getting ready for the morning breakfast rush. She was in the kitchen when she heard someone come in, she goes out and sees a man, the man was handsome and very well dressed. She immediately recognizes him
"Jax?" She said stunned
'Hello Carly." He greeted
Jasper Jax Jacks is well known businessman and her ex-husband. Carly hugged him as the two reunite
"This is a surprise!" Said Carly
"It's good to see you, Carly." Said Jax
"I didn't know you were coming to town, Jossyln didn't tell me you were coming." Said Carly
"She doesn't know. I thought I surprise her by coming to spend the holidays with her." Said Jax
"She'll be so thrilled. She felt so bad about not being able visit you in Australia with her all studies." Said Carly
"I've been so busy with business I haven't been to visit either. Hopefully this makes up for it speaking of business I heard about what happened with Aurora and the trouble you were in. I wanted to get involved but Drew beat me to it when he took the plea bargain and went to prison." Said Jax
"Yeah well, it's over. Drew has been released from Pentonville and things are getting back to normal so you and your white horse wasn't needed." Said Carly
"Would you have accepted my help given how we left things before I left." Said Jax
"You mean when you tried to record our private conversation?" Carly asked
"Come on Carly, I was scared; Sonny was gone and you were running his organization and I was afraid for our daughter's safety." Said Jax
"How about when you didn't tell me that Sonny was alive in Nixon falls?" said Carly
"I was shot and I thought I was hallucinating. If I didn't let Nina convince me that I was then maybe I would've told you sooner." Said Jax
"The damage was done. Nina succeeded in making Sonny fall in love with her." Said Carly
"Yeah, I heard about Sonny and Nina eloping I am so sorry Carly." Jax apologized
"Are you really? You have been trying to get me and Josslyn away from Sonny for years." Said Carly
"But I never wanted you to be hurt Carly and again I'm sorry for my part in that." Said Jax
"You know what don't like about you Jax?" Carly asked
"What?" Jax responded
"That you are so hard to hate. No matter how hard I try I could never hate you. Why do you have so damn charming? It's like those dimples have magic powers." Said Carly as she and Jax both laugh
"Well now that we cleared that up. I want to talk about daughter, you know Joss and I talk all the time. She tells me about college and her studies and she told me that's she seeing this boy Dex and every time I asked about him, she shuts down it's like she's keeping something from me about this boy." Said Jax concerned
"Look Jax, Jossyln will tell you herself it's not my place." Said Carly
"Now I know something is wrong because you've never been one to respect boundaries. So please tell me should I be concerned about Dex?
"Okay Jax, I'll tell you, but promise you won't get angry?" Carly asked
"Okay," Jax agreed
"Dex works for Sonny." Carly confessed
"Joss is dating someone that works for Sonny Corinthos! How could you let this happen?
"I don't like it either, but Jossyln is grown woman." Said Carly
"You know for years I had to sit by helpless while our daughter grew up in Sonny's house surrounded by the danger and violence and now that you and Sonny are divorced and Joss in college that she would finally be safe, but no she's back into Sonny's world again." Jax yelled
"I know and I hate it too but she's in love with him," said Carly
"What is it about Sonny's world that women seem to gravitate towards it? I've seen too many women lives get ruined because of Sonny and his world. I won't let that happen to our daughter." Said Jax
"Jax, if you tell Jossyln to stay away from Dex you're going end up losing her." Carly warned
"I'm sorry, but I won't let our daughter go down a path that could get her killed." Said Jax as he walks out.
