Stretched out on his bed, comfortable as he could be, was a fox. He was completely nude, golden hair hiding some of his back, and nine, fluffy tails twirled around the bed contently in gentle sweeps.

"Hello, Milo," Dracula chuckled, running long nails down the naked back to the base of the many tails fidgeting over his sheets before running it back up. "What brings you here?"

"Bored... lonely," he hummed, stretching up into the fingers, letting the nails cut his pale, painted skin before they healed. "Surely, Vladimir, you could entertain me?"

"No, I cannot. Not tonight." Milo peeks from where his head is resting on his arms, humming a concerned note. Bright, golden eyes and round pupils sharpened into pins as they looked Dracula up and down. He sat in his chair at his desk, the chair more facing the bed than the heavy desk covered in parchment.

Milo stood, letting his long hair flow around him as he settled into Dracula's lap, tails brushing against his arms lovingly and smiling softly despite the sharp look.

Pale skin, covered in tribal lines of crimson and a gold band reaching from his lower lip, down his throat, to circle his heart in a bullseye, pressed against the black cloth of Dracula's cloak. The gold dusting the tails shimmered, three red dots under his eyes wrinkling as he squinted.

"Vladimir," Milo said slowly, raising himself to his knees so he hovered above Dracula. "I, who have known you since your turning, am offering the body of what some consider a god, and you're turning me down? What has your mind, Vlad? Who?"

"She's still here, in the castle," the Lord of Vampires huffed. "Surely you can smell her with such a keen nose."

"I can. I was watching you," Milo breathed.

"Does she make you jealous, Milo?" He closed his eyes, listening to the rumbling of Milo's growl.

"Who needs your attention more than I?" he asked quietly, something dangerous in his tone. "I, who cradled you when your heart was freshly stopped, your blood still. Or... the human woman who knocked on your door with a knife, asking for knowledge?"

Dracula said nothing. He didn't need to. His old friend knew his answer.

Milo... laughed. A deep, rumbling noise in his chest escalated into chitters of light laughter.

"You, my Vladimir, are in love," he cooed, letting himself melt and shift. He grew a chest, his golden hair started to curl into rings. When he spoke next, his tones were bellish and light, cooing like a mother. "She has you wrapped around her finger! Lisa was her name?"

There was a knock before the door opened.

"Dracula, I was hoping to ask-" Lisa paused, looking them both up and down before going red. "I'm so sorry!" She went to close the door, but the beautiful woman with absolutely no clothes on let her lips pull into a half-black, golden-striped grin.

"No, no, join us, Lisa!" Milo hummed, pulling her in by her elbow. She had her hands over her eyes, her breathing labored in embarrassment as she tried to pull away.

"I really shouldn't, I have work to do-" she was cut off by Dracula's thundering chuckle, watching the two of them in amusement. "I'm glad you're enjoying this!"

"Come now, I'm clothed now. Surely that's better?" Lisa peeked through her fingers, sighing to find the woman in a large shirt that came down her thighs. She was sure it was one of the vampire's.

"Barely dressed. I thought you lived alone?"

"I do," Dracula rumbled, still amused as Milo plopped onto his lap sideways, curling up. He petted behind the tall, black-tipped ears on Milo's head, chuckling at the purr. "This is Milo, a fox spirit that drifts in and out of the castle at his pleasure."

"He?" Lisa asked, confused.

"He," Dracula agreed. He looked down at the vixen in his lap. "He's a shapeshifter and prefers a male form."

"I was trying to tempt the Ruler of the Night into bed with me," Milo sighed, stretching out and squishing her breasts into Dracula's chest with a pout. "Seems his new human friend is too important to give me any attention."

"New... human friend?" Lisa asked before chuckling. "I'm sorry for interrupting your wooing, then, Milo. From what I understand of fox spirits, though it isn't much, is that they're foreign?"

"Eastern in origin, yes," she chirps with her girlish voice. "I traveled a long way to see the new Count Dracula! Of course, my accent is gone from all the years spent here."

"Milo is an odd name for that culture."

"Milo is not my name," she shrugged. She shifted her clothing again, hopping out of Dracula's lap to shift the shirt into a dress. It was white, the sleeves stating on his biceps, and a golden band flenched the fabric under her large bust. Her bare feet slapped the wood as she wandered close to the human woman, cooing and sniffing with her black-stained nose. "I do see why he likes you, though. You do not breathe heavily, nor is your heart racing, no shaking in your fingers. You could almost be called confident without the heated blush on your face."

"Well, I didn't expect to walk in on whatever that was!" Lisa huffed, rolling her eyes.

"I was trying to sleep with Dracula," Milo snickered, popping a hip and trying to hide her giggle behind sharp claws and delicate, long fingers. "Don't see what is so hard to realize about that?"

"It- I-" Lisa stubbled, bubbling with embarrassment. Milo pulled her into her side, cooing softly.

"I'm sorry for startling you, Lisa. I am Milo, an old friend of Dracula. Come, I'll show you what you're missing! You came in with a question, right? I know the castle just as well as Vladimir, so I can answer."

"If... if you insist."

"Do be nice, Mila," Dracula called from his chair. "I do like this one."

"I'll keep your human safe, Vlad," she huffed at him. "Come! To explore!"

"So, I had to explain to Vlad that you can't use squid teeth as a cutting utensil," Milo concluded, grinning wide enough to expose fangs as Lisa snorted.

She was trying to add a drop of mandrake root to a vial of medicine she was trying to make, needing a steady hand and concentration. Of course, Milo had to make a nuisance of himself.

"I'm trying to work, Milo," she huffed, her smile giving her amusement away. "Please, five minutes of silence."

"If you wanted me to leave you alone, you would have called Vlad and he would grumble at me until I left." He stretched, the robe he was wearing so loose around his shoulders his entire torso was exposed to the air as he slid across the velvet lounge sofa. "I'll leave you to it, though. I need to hunt down your suitor to try and lure him back into my bed."

"You're unbelievable," Lisa chuckled, eyeing the dropper, holding her breath as two drips left the tip before she pulled it away.

"I do try," Milo cooed, pulling himself up and off the couch with a graceful flip. "You know, you could always join us, or have me all to yourself. I'm fond of sex in both forms, even, if you're into sinful, homosexual affairs." Lisa rolled her eyes, shooing him off with her hand, taking in his state of half-dress. The black undershorts were a pair of Dracula's, she'd come to understand, and only wore them for the benefit of their human companion. She appreciated it.

According to Dracula, the man very rarely wore any clothing around the castle, more comfortable in his skin than cloth. When he did wear clothes, they were always loose-fitting and made of the softest material one could find. Lisa had only sighed and gripped that she'd have to get used to it. Dracula had only chuckled and nodded.

"Off to find your intended, Lisa. Have fun!" Milo was gone the next blink, wandering around the castle with a tune under his breath and Dracula in mind. The castle bent to him, allowing him access to the library, cooing his tune as Dracula came into view.

He had a few books stacked on a nearby table, all labeled with different practices and sciences. He must have been looking for books for Lisa to read. As he added another book to the pile, he turned to face the fox spirit with a raised eyebrow.

"Milo."

"Vlad," he chirped, preening under the attention. "I told Lisa I was here to lure you away. I am so bored, lover, and you've been ignoring me." He set the golden band on his lower lip into a pout, popping a hip and crossing his arms.

"She agreed to this, then?"

"She told me I was unbelievable. She also seemed very amused." He wandered over and picked up some of the books, making his way back to the large doors of the library. "Come along then, so she knows I haven't fucked her husband."

"Oh? I didn't know we were married," Dracula chuckled, moving to his side with the rest of the books.

"You will be soon," he shrugged. "I can already hear children running up and down the halls." Golden eyes met red, a smile on his face. "Sure, one of them is blonde, but they for sure aren't my children she carries."

"You can see them?" he asked breathlessly. "Truly."

"One of them looks exactly like you," Milo hummed. "Come along, lover. Off to find our third." Dracula, not realizing he had stopped, continued to follow.

Milo, with his head pillowed in Lisa's lap and his naked legs splayed on Dracula's thighs, suddenly stiffened. They both looked up from the books they were reading, concerned, before Milo beamed at them.

"Congratulations," he cooed, turning his head and nuzzling her stomach. "I can feel them now."

"Feel them, what do you mean?" Lisa asked. She turned to her husband, concerned, but he looked stunned into silence. "Vlad?" There was a sudden quiet that took up the little cottage in the woods they had made their home. Even the fire in the hearth seemed to quiet in the tense atmosphere.

"Milo?" he asked quietly and the fox just hummed, watching his old friend. "Surely?"

"Oh, yes. Would you like me to spoil you on their genders? I've been hearing them run through the halls for two years now," he snorted. Lisa stiffened before the pale hand not holding her book went to her stomach.

"I'm...?"

Milo, in a twist of acrobatics and magic, twisted up and placed his legs under him, relaxing the slight float so he was straddling her lap. He pulled her into his chest, cradling her and humming a soft, reassuring note.

"You're pregnant. Aren't you excited?"

"Will they be healthy?" Dracula asked suddenly, breaking from his shock. "Surely, dhampirs have... concerns to be addressed."

"Of course they do, Vlad. There are only so many in the world, most of them are accidents and don't live very long. I have already told you I've been hearing laughter, so I'm assuming they are as happy and healthy as they can be."

"You told Vlad and not me?" Lisa huffed.

"I told him that he was going to marry you and that you'd have beautiful children. I told him nothing more," Milo huffed.

"Still all before me," she huffed, her fingers splaying over her stomach in awe. Her small, dainty hand was covered by her husband's, both smiling and looking at each other in awe. Milo purred, a rumbling noise to soothe their bones and loosen their muscle.

"One will be darker than the night," Milo started, getting their attention. "The sun will hate them and the spirits whisper their wisdom to them. The other will be born of light, into the sun with rays of gold magics."

"Twins," Lisa breathed. "You're telling me I'm having twins?"

"Most certainly," the fox grinned. "I am so excited. I've been wanting to meet the little ones of the castle for some time."

"You won't tell us their genders?" Dracula asked, amused. Milo rolled his eyes, but Lisa interrupted before he could retort.

"I... don't want to know yet. It will bug me, for sure, but I do not want to know. Don't tell me." Milo tilted his head, brushing his long, fluffy tails against their arms and his fox ears twitching.

"Of course, my Queen. Anything for you and your little ones."
