'Winx concert at the Frutti Music Bar tomorrow! Tell your mom! Tell your dad! Tell everyone you know!' Roxy grinned as she watched Bloom fly over the Frutti Music Bar, announcing her band's big concert the next day, the other Winx flying up with her, using their magic in colourful bursts of joy. It was hard to believe that only a week ago they'd been fighting for their lives against the Fairy Hunters' trap on Tir Na N'og in a battle that had almost cost Nabu his life. In fact, for a full day, it did cost Nabu his life. If Tecna hadn't found that spell to save him...Roxy shook the thought out of her head. Tecna had found the spell, and Nabu was sitting across the club, watching his girlfriend with her friends. The other guys were finishing packing up their apartment, and would get there soon, but Nabu and Aisha had barely left each other's sides since he'd come back to life, and today was no exception. Roxy almost wasn't sure what they'd do when they got back to Alfea and Red Fountain; would they be able to cope with being apart? They'd probably just spend all the time they weren't in classes together; they'd be fine. After all, they'd made it through worse.
'Wow!' Bloom landed next to Roxy and transformed back to her human form. 'I can't believe we're going back to Alfea tomorrow; it feels like we only just arrived on Earth!'
'Really?' Flora asked, landing next to her and turning human. 'Even with all the evil wizards and fighting?'
'Yep! I'm really going to miss Earth when we're back at school.' Bloom turned to Roxy. 'Are you packed yet, Roxy?'
'Yep,' Roxy replied. 'I got it done days ago. I'm really excited to get to Alfea! I can't believe I'm going to a fairy school; if you'd told me three months ago what my life would look like now, I'd have - '
'Said we all have problems and run off?' Flora finished, referencing when the Winx had first told Roxy that she was a fairy.
Roxy laughed. 'Pretty much. My life is so different now, and, if I'm being honest, I wouldn't change it for anything.'
'Roxy, it's so good to hear you say that!' Bloom hugged her friend.
'I couldn't have done it without you girls.' Roxy smiled at Bloom. 'You were all there for me; like big sisters.' Bloom suddenly went very quiet, and Roxy winced internally. Bloom's own big sister was a ghost that lived under a lake, and Roxy had just reminded her of that. Good going, Roxy. She struggled to find something to say to break the awkward silence, but fortunately someone else broke it for her.
'Hey, Winx!' The girls spun around to see Sky and the other Specialists walk into the bar.
'Sky!' Bloom kissed her boyfriend. 'It's so good to see you; have you guys finished packing up the apartment?'
'Yep, all ready to get back to Magix,' Sky said, kissing Bloom on the forehead.
'I'm gonna miss our apartment, you know,' Brandon said, leaning back against the bar. 'Red Fountain is awesome, and it's like a second home to all of us, but still. We lived in that apartment for this whole adventure, and I'm gonna miss it.'
'Speaking of missing things, is Nabu here?' Riven asked.
'Yeah, he's over with Aisha and the others. Why?' Roxy asked.
Riven put a box on the bar. 'I need to know if he still wants all this stuff.'
'What is it?' Bloom stared at the box curiously.
'A bunch of energy readings and half-finished spells from when he was trying to help Duman.'
'Oh.'
'I just figured...with Duman being dead and all...didn't know if he'd want this.' There was a slightly awkward silence.
'...I didn't know you could put spells in a box,' Roxy piped up, very uncomfortable with how quiet everyone was.
'Well, they're all in bottles. Side note: nobody shake or drop this box; it might explode.'
Roxy looked at Riven nervously. '...If he was trying to cure Duman's weird illness, why would he need spells that might explode?'
'Half-finished spells are usually unstable,' Flora told her gently. 'If they come into contact with other magic, they're pretty likely to explode.'
Roxy backed away from the box warily. 'Then why are they still half-finished?'
'Well, normally you'd complete a spell at the time of casting, but at the time of these spells' casting, Duman was lying on our couch screaming, so Nabu gave up on a spell as soon as it became clear that it wouldn't work, thus, the box filled with unfinished spells,' Riven explained.
'Hey, guys!' Musa called, walking over with the other Winx and Nabu. 'You all done at the apartment?'
'All packed,' Riven assured her.
'Ooh, what's in the box?' Stella asked, throwing herself down onto a bar stool next to Brandon. 'Did you get us a gift?'
'Depends.' Roxy folded her arms. 'Do you want a box of volatile spells and energy readings on an unstable shapeshifter?'
'Huh?' Stella looked at her weirdly.
'Oh, you mean those are...' Nabu looked at Riven.
'Yep. Figured you'd either want 'em for something, or you'd want to get rid of them before we head back to Magix.'
'Ah. Well...'
'Seriously, guys, what's in the box?' Stella was starting to look ticked-off.
'It's the spells I tried to create to help Duman that didn't work out the way I hoped,' Nabu told her, opening the box and pulling out a bottle with a crackling ball of pink energy fizzing inside.
'Oh. No, I don't want that. Thanks though.' Stella regarded the box warily.
'You left them unfinished?' Tecna asked curiously. 'Why didn't you complete them?'
'Because every second I spent finishing a spell that wasn't going to work was a second Duman was in agony, and there was no way I could justify that to myself.'
'Shame he turned out to be a lying traitor like the other three,' Aisha spat, her expression twisting with the memory of the wizards' betrayal.
'Aisha, honey.' Nabu put a hand on his girlfriend's arm and she relaxed. He inspected the contents of the box for a minute, then closed it back up. 'Yeah, I think I'll keep these. Maybe they'll help me figure out exactly was wrong with Duman.'
'You still want to figure that out?' Brandon looked at him in surprise.
'Yeah, I do. After all, what if it ever happens to someone else? I know shapeshifters are rare, but...'
'I get it.' Riven smiled at his friend. 'So we're keeping the box.'
Nabu smiled back. 'We're keeping the box.'
Roxy glared at the box. 'Well, could you 'keep the box' someplace else? I don't want my last shift at the Frutti Music Bar to end in a giant explosion.'
Roxy walked across the club to where the Winx and Specialists were gathered around Aisha, waiting for her cousin who was apparently a mermaid (she wasn't going question it) to call from an underwater coronation on another planet. My life really is insane.
Suddenly, her phone vibrated and played Kelly Clarkson's song 'Stronger', her new ringtone for Nebula. She pulled her phone out and answered the video-call, steeling herself for yet another two minutes of explaining to Tir Na N'og's new queen how phones worked.
'Hey, Nebula.' All she could see was a mass of dark hair. 'Nebula, you've got the phone against your ear again. Hold it in front of you.'
'Hello? Roxy? Are you there? I can't hear you.'
'Nebula! Nebula, you need to...' The view on the screen changed as Nebula removed the phone from her ear and inspected it.
'Hello? Hello? Curse this modern contraption! I'm retroactively adding this to my list of reasons I wanted revenge on the wizards; this technological nonsense is impossible!'
'Nebula!' Roxy waved at the screen as Nebula pressed button after button. 'Nebula! Nebula! Nebula!' Nebula pressed a button and jerked back in surprise.
'Roxy? Roxy, can you hear me?'
'Yes! Yes, I can hear you! Don't press anything else!'
Nebula squinted at the screen. 'Why are you in the phone?'
'I'm not...I'm not in the phone, Nebula,' Roxy sighed. 'We're on a video-call. Do not press anything else,' she ordered sternly when Nebula's finger moved towards the screen. 'Just talk. Talk, and look at the phone.'
'Ah, I understand.' Roxy doubted that highly; she'd had almost this exact conversation with Nebula every time the fairy of peace had previously called her, and it didn't seem to be sinking in. She'd tried to explain it, but not even the magical teaching powers of YouTube had managed to instil knowledge of phones in Nebula, and it had taught her dad how to re-tile their kitchen. Of course, there had been absolutely nothing wrong with their kitchen tiles before, but nobody had ended up in the emergency room as a result of the change, so it was an improvement on when Klaus had decided to put a gazebo in the garden, and it was all thanks to YouTube tutorials.
'What's up, Nebula?' Nebula looked at her questioningly.
'Um, clouds? The sun? Birds, maybe?'
Roxy resisted the urge to facepalm. 'It's an...You know what, never mind. Why are you calling?'
'Oh, right. Yes, I did have a reason for using this devil-box.' Nebula glared at the phone. 'Whatever happened to sending messages by bird?'
Roxy took a deep breath. 'Nebula?'
'Right, right. Roxy, we think we've found the Wizards of the Black Circle's hideout.'
Roxy inhaled sharply. 'You mean the warehouse in Gardenia?'
'No, no, I mean where they lived before they came to find you.'
'Really?'
Nebula nodded. 'Yes, and I'm putting together a scouting party to check it out; we need to know if they've got anything dangerous stashed there. We don't want anyone finding another Dark Gate, not to mention that we need to make sure the wizards don't have anything to fall back on if they should ever escape Omega.'
'Escape Omega?'
Nebula shook her head. 'We don't think they will; the Fortress of Light have assured me that they're securely frozen - at least I think that's what this email is telling me. Unless it's telling me they might return...What does 'Re: Wizards of the Black Circle' mean? Does it mean the Wizards of the Black Circle again? As in re-birth, re-make, re-work?'
'No, Nebula, it doesn't mean they're coming back. The 'Re' means 'Referencing'. It's just telling you that the email is about the Wizards of the Black Circle.'
'Ah. Good. In which case, the Fortress of Light has complete confidence that the wizards will stay frozen in Omega, and they would like to thank me for my concern.'
'Okay, good.'
'Yes...Hold on, someone's sent me a video of a cat...'
'So, did you want me to...Nebula, stop watching cat videos!'
'Where did this feline learn to play the piano?'
'Nebula, look at me, not at the cat.'
'Hm?'
'Nebula, did you want me to come with you to check out the wizards' hideout?'
'Oh, yes! Yes, I did. It's in the middle of an Alaskan forest; I'll send you a map.'
Roxy sighed as a video of a cat playing the piano popped up on her phone. 'Nebula, you've sent me the cat video.'
'Oops, hold on, I'll get it.'
'That's a car advert. That's a virtual flyer for a sale at Walmart. That's another cat video.'
'Hold on...'
'That's a map of Greece. Nebula, maybe just ask one of the other fairies to send me the map.'
'No, no, I can get it...'
'Nebula...' Pump Up the Jam suddenly started blaring from her phone.
'Aargh! What is this madness?!' Nebula dropped the phone and Roxy could hear her desperately tapping on her computer.
The song finally stopped playing. 'Ha-ha! Victory is mine!' Nebula crowed. 'I have vanquished you, loud song about fruit preserves!' Roxy facepalmed. 'Okay, I think I have it now.'
Roxy looked at her phone. '...Yeah, I think I've got it. Should there be a big lake and mountains on the map?'
'Hang on...Yes!'
'Then, yes, I have the map.'
'Ha-ha!'
'Okay, I'll see you there, Nebula. I'm leaving now.'
'Great...Oh, someone's sent me an email; apparently I've won an internet competition and I need only click this link to claim twenty-thousand dollars...'
'Nebula, don't click that! Nebula...' The call ended and Roxy resisted the urge to slam her head against the bar.
Roxy drew in a huge lungful of the fresh Alaskan air as she shot over the forest in her new base form. It wasn't as fast as her Believix, but she was still making excellent time, and the new transformation was honestly gorgeous. Instead of her Believix shorts and top, she was wearing a sparkly green miniskirt, chunky ankle-boots and a long-sleeved crop-top with a neckline that cut low over her shoulders, and a pair of small translucent green butterfly wings fluttered at her back.
She skimmed low over a lake, trailing her fingers in the water and sending a crystalline spray up into the air.
'Hello!' She waved to a bear and her cubs on the far bank; if the wizards were going to have a hideout, this was definitely the place to have it. The landscape was gorgeous, and there was no one around for miles, which made for a perfect hiding place.
She sensed the magical energy of other fairies, and banked left, following the trail. After a few more blissful minutes of flying (how had she gone her whole life without flying; it was the best thing ever), Roxy saw a group of Earth Fairies gathered in front of a house nestled into a forest clearing. It was actually really pretty; not exactly what she'd been imagining when she thought of the wizards' hideout.
'Roxy!' Nebula waved to her as she came into land. 'I'm glad you're here; we were waiting for you.'
'I got here as fast as I could, Nebula.' It was true. As soon as Nebula had ended the call (and hopefully ignored that link), Roxy had quickly let the Winx and her dad know where she was going, then transformed and shot off towards the location on Nebula's map (which had turned out to be correct, thank goodness).
'Well, now that everyone's here, shall we get on with this?' A fairy with long pale-blue hair that Roxy recognised from the fights a week ago stepped forward. 'We need to ensure that there's nothing dangerous in there, and we've already wasted plenty of time standing around and calling Apple's anti-virus team.' Nebula blushed furiously; apparently she hadn't ignored that link.
'Harebell, don't be rude,' admonished a fairy with dark skin and red hair in bunches. 'It's polite to wait for other people, and anyone could have made that mistake with the link.' Harebell rolled her eyes, and the other fairy turned to Roxy.
'Princess Roxy, it's an honour to meet you.' She bowed low, making Roxy very uncomfortable.
'Oh, you don't need to bow; and you can just call me Roxy.'
The fairy straightened and smiled. 'Very well, nice to meet you, Roxy. I'm Sienna, one of Lady Diana's warriors. The grumpy fairy next to me is Harebell, a warrior of Tir Na N'og, and this is Corinne and Nadine.' She gestured to the other fairies in the clearing. 'They're Arctic fairies.'
'Hello.' Corinne, a tall, slender fairy with long brown hair raised a hand in greeting.
'Hey.' Nadine, a fairy with wavy blue-green hair that Roxy recognised as the fairy who'd ordered the other Arctic fairies to stop attacking back at the Frozen Tower when she'd figured out that the fairies had orders not to hurt her gave her a quick salute, clearly on board with the lack of formality Roxy was comfortable with.
'Nice to meet you all.' Roxy gave them what she hoped was a polite smile; she wasn't really sure about this whole princess thing yet, and she didn't want to do the wrong thing. Being royalty was still a strange feeling; she was used to serving smoothies and getting covered in pet hair, not representing an entire kingdom, and she wasn't sure what she was meant to do (though she was pretty sure that showing up covered in dog hair was a no-no).
'Great, nice to meet you, greetings and manners and niceties and such...Now can we go?' Harebell looked around expectantly.
'Yes,' Nebula replied. 'Now we can go.' She stepped up to the door and cast a spell to unlock it. She put her hand on the doorknob. 'Everyone be on your guard. We don't know what could be waiting for us in there.' The fairies all tensed, Harebell and Corinne drawing swords, as Nebula turned the doorknob and eased the door open.
The house was shrouded in darkness, and the group proceeded inside cautiously.
'Watch out, the wizards could have all kinds of - aaah!' Harebell cried out. 'Something's got me!' There was the sound of her swinging her sword and slicing through something. 'You shall not defeat a warrior of Tir Na N'og so easily!' Roxy squinted into the darkness. Was Harebell fighting...She looked to her left and squinted at the wall. Aha! There was a click, and the room was filled with warm light, revealing Harebell on the floor, wrestling with a pair of curtains.
'I found the light switch,' Roxy informed the room, trying not to grin at the highly amusing scene in front of her.
Nadine was putting in no such effort, and was laughing hysterically. 'Ha ha...Who knew the wizards had such...a dangerous weapon...ha ha!'
Harebell blushed and got to her feet, brushing herself off and clearing her throat awkwardly. 'Ahem...Well, when it comes to the Wizards of the Black Circle, you can never be too careful.' Everyone except the still-laughing Nadine made general noises of agreement and looked awkward.
'Well, everyone,' Nebula started, blatantly trying not to laugh. 'Let's look around.' The others nodded, and Nadine finally got herself under control.
Roxy took in her surroundings; they were in a living room, with large, soft chairs and bookshelves on every wall, the shelves bowing under the weight of hundreds of books. It was actually very cosy. Not exactly how I pictured an evil hideout...
Roxy wandered through an open doorway and flipped another light switch, revealing a large kitchen with a wooden dining table surrounded by five chairs. Huh? She looked back at the table. Why were there five chairs? There were only four wizards, as far as she knew, and she doubted that they'd put their hideout all the way out in the middle of nowhere because they were expecting visitors. Weird. She shrugged it off and opened a few cupboards, finding food and cooking equipment. No evil magic here... She opened the fridge, and was surprised to see it partially stocked. That's strange. Why would the wizards buy food if they were planning on setting up in Gardenia? Of course, the decision to go to Gardenia could have been last-minute, but still...What was even stranger was that plenty of the food would definitely have expired if it had been bought months ago, but everything was pretty fresh. Okay, this is a little weird...
When she didn't find anything else suspicious in the kitchen, Roxy headed up the staircase in the living room and found herself on a landing with six doors leading off from it. She picked one at random and flicked the light switch. She could see a bed, so she was reasonably sure it was a bedroom, but it could easily be mistaken for a library, with bookshelves heaving with books against every wall, and even more books on a large desk, and several books simply in piles wherever they could fit. Wow, one of the wizards sure likes to read. She inspected some of the titles: many were magical tomes, with quite a few that seemed to be about dark magic that she'd report to Nebula, but plenty more were fiction titles, some that she recognised, some that she didn't. All the books seemed well-read, with yellowing pages and creased spines.
Roxy turned her attention to the desk, sifting through sheets of paper covered in elegant, loopy handwriting and symbols she didn't understand. There were quite a few diagrams depicting the Black Circle with notes scrawled on the side, and run-downs of plans.
'I guess this is Ogron's room,' Roxy said aloud to herself as she skimmed a list of team strategies. She'd let Nebula know what she'd found when she went downstairs, but, honestly, most of the stuff in the room seemed pretty harmless.
She turned off the light and went back out into the hallway, walking into another room across the hall. This one seemed to be a bathroom, so probably nothing dangerous in there. Better check anyway. She opened the cupboards, but just found standard bathroom things. However, as her eyes skimmed over the sink, her vision caught on something. What the... She looked back. Nothing unusual: just toothbrushes. Five toothbrushes. Now that was weird. First the extra chair, then the stocked fridge, now five toothbrushes? What was going on? She opened another cupboard and again saw standard bathroom stuff, just like in her bathroom at home. But there was one thing that was way too like in her bathroom. Her eyebrows shot up as she picked up...a box of tampons? Okay, there could definitely be an explanation for the chairs, the fridge and the toothbrushes, but there was no way these were the wizards'. Someone else lives here. She stared at the box in her hands, as though Tampax Pearl were going to reveal all the answers (which they obviously didn't; it was a box of tampons).
When the tampons revealed no further clues, Roxy put them back in the cupboard and rushed downstairs.
'Nebula! Sienna! Guys!'
'What?' Harebell called from in the kitchen. 'You find something important?'
'Oh yeah...' Roxy muttered, more to herself than Harebell. Her gaze caught on a face-down picture frame on a side table. Curious, she picked it up, then stared in shock at the picture inside. What the hell? She was looking at a picture of all four wizards in the very living room she was standing in. They were sitting on the couch across from her, except for Anagan, who was sitting on the floor in front of the couch. Duman was perched precariously on the arm of the couch, grinning at the camera, while Gantlos and Ogron were sitting on the couch itself. Gantlos was smiling and, to her surprise, holding Duman's hand - Huh? - and Ogron was laughing. Seeing the wizards looking, well, not evil, was surprising enough on its own, but that wasn't why Roxy's mouth had dropped open. No, that was due to the pink-haired girl sitting between Ogron and Gantlos, grinning out of the frame.
'Roxy?' Harebell sounded irritated. 'What is it?'
Roxy raised her gaze and turned the frame around.
'A picture of the wizards?' Nadine sounded confused. 'Why are we looking at - No way!' She darted forwards and seized the picture. 'Who the hell is that?'
'I don't - ' Roxy started to speak, but was cut off as a dark shape shot out from the stairway and tackled Nadine.
'What in the - ' Nadine exclaimed, struggling against her mysterious attacker. 'Get off!' She delivered a fierce kick to the shape, sending it flying across the room and onto the couch.
Now that it wasn't wrestling with Nadine, Roxy could see that the shape was a grey wolf, and it snarled at the fairies and rolled off the couch, running at Sienna and snapping at her heels as she flew up and out of reach.
'Whoa! Where'd this thing come from?' The Amazon fairy narrowly avoided losing a foot as she dodged the wolf's sharp jaws.
'Roxy, do you think you can get it to calm down?' Corinne asked, flinging up an icy shield as the wolf turned its attention to her.
'I can try!' Roxy closed her eyes and concentrated, trying to form a mental connection with the animal. GET OUT! Roxy staggered back in surprise at the furious voice in her head. Had that been the wolf?
'Oh, to hell with this.' Harebell rolled her eyes at Roxy and Corinne. 'This thing wants a fight?' She drew her sword. 'Well, I'm happy to oblige.'
'Wait!' Roxy cried. Harebell ignored her, and swung her sword at the animal. The wolf snarled and rolled to the side, dodging the blade.
'What the - ' Harebell looked shocked. 'Where'd a wolf learn to do that?' She didn't have any more time to question it though, as the wolf leapt on her, pinning her to the ground.
'Harebell!' Sienna blew a yellow cloud at the wolf, and it rolled off Harebell...sneezing?
'Achoo! Sienna, what did you - achoo!' Harebell sneezed and got to her feet, glaring at Sienna.
'What was that?' Roxy asked, staring at the sneezing fairy and wolf.
'Pollen,' Sienna replied. 'I'm the fairy of pollen, so...'
'Clever.'
The wolf seemed less impressed, snarling at Sienna and sneezing again. Since when do wolves sneeze? It seemed like a pretty easy fight now, until the wolf suddenly glowed pink and the fairies gasped as the light faded to reveal an eagle. Well this got weird fast.
'Towering trees!' Sienna exclaimed. 'Did that wolf just...?
'Yep,' Nadine said, staring at the eagle. 'And I think I can guess why.' The eagle flapped its wings hard, sending the cloud of pollen onto Nebula, Corinne and Nadine.
'Yep,' Nadine sneezed. 'That was my guess.'
'Sorry!' Sienna quickly made the pollen vanish. 'That wasn't supposed to happen!'
'No kidding.' Nadine rubbed her nose. 'No more pollen clouds, Sienna.'
The eagle flew at Roxy, and she threw up a shield in a panic as the bird's talons came slicing towards her.
'You shall not threaten the princess!' Nebula shouted, throwing a magical attack at the eagle. 'Electric storm!'
The eagle gave a piercing cry as it was hit by the spell, twitching and jerking with the effects of the electricity. There was another flash of light, and the eagle transformed into the girl from the picture! Only, now, instead of the purple sweats she'd been wearing in the photograph, she was dressed in a black miniskirt, knee-high boots, a sleeveless black top, and black wristbands. And most shocking of all: the pair of shimmering purple wings on her back.
'You're...you're a fairy!' Roxy exclaimed.
'Well, aren't you observant,' growled the girl. 'Obsidian Flux!' Roxy dropped to the floor as a black orb of energy shot towards her, barely missing Sienna.
'Who are you?' Corinne asked.
'Who cares?' Harebell raised her sword. 'All that matters is that she knows the wizards, and she's coming with us.'
'Doubt it,' spat the girl.
'You won't doubt it in a minute!' Harebell swung her sword at the girl, but, instead of ducking, the girl raised her hand and the sword glowed white.
'What the - ' Harebell stared in shock as her sword made contact with the girl; instead of doing the damage she'd expected (well, actually, she probably hadn't been expecting to do damage; she'd probably been expecting the girl to duck, as any sane person would), the weapon bent like rubber.
Harebell stared at her sword in shock. 'How did you...'
'Wouldn't you like to know?' The girl smirked and blasted Harebell clear across the room.
'Frozen shards!' Nadine sent icy darts flying at their mysterious opponent.
'Whoa!' The girl dived out of the way. 'Transmutation!' A stream of pink energy went zipping towards Nadine, and when it hit her, she transformed into a cat.
'Umm, what just happened?' Sienna stared at the cat. 'Did she just turn Nadine into a cat?'
'Don't worry, I'll do you next! Transmutation!' The girl sent another stream of energy at Sienna, but Roxy leapt in front of her and threw up a shield.
'Crystal Shell!' To her immense relief, the shield held, and Roxy didn't turn into a cat.
'Get out!' the girl screamed, throwing another dark orb at the fairies.
'Winter Gale!' Corinne cried, sending an icy wind blowing around the girl, disorientating her.
'Rrrgh! Go away!' The girl blasted streams of crackling pink energy at Corinne.
'Whoa!' Corinne dove to the floor, her spell vanishing as she tried to avoid the attack.
'Electric Storm!' The girl turned just in time to see Nebula's attack come streaking towards her; her eyes widened just as the orb slammed into her side, knocking her to the ground, out cold. She flashed pink for a second, and when the light vanished, her wings were gone and she was dressed in jeans, a pink t-shirt, combat boots and a leather jacket. As soon as she de-transformed, Nadine glowed pink and turned back into a fairy.
'Whoa! That was crazy! I was a cat! And now I really want some fish.'
Roxy knelt next to the girl's unconscious form; looking at her now, she realised that she couldn't be more than sixteen, no older than her.
'Who is she?' she wondered aloud.
'And why is she here?' Sienna added, kneeling next to her.
Nebula looked down at the girl. 'Let's get her back to Tir Na N'og and find out.'
Roxy was totally right: that got weird fast. Don't worry, Roxy and Sienna's questions will be answered next chapter. And yes, Roxy figures out that someone else lives there because she finds a box of tampons.
About Nebula and the phone: that was just too funny an idea, and I couldn't resist.
The box of spells isn't going to be hugely relevant; I just thought it would be interesting.
With regards to Sienna, Corinne, Nadine and Harebell, they all actually appear in the show (as mentioned when Roxy meets Nadine), and I thought it would be nice to give the background Earth Fairies names, personalities and some specific powers, so Sienna is the fairy of pollen (as you know), Corinne is the fairy of the North Wind, and Nadine is the fairy of ice. I couldn't think of a fairy power for Harebell, but if you can think of one, mention it in a review! Also, if there are any other background Earth Fairies you'd like to see appear, describe their appearance in the comments and I'll try and put them in at some point. (If you have a name and power in mind, put that in the review too.) We'll meet a few more Earth Fairies next chapter, too.
