Sup guys, Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Rainbow Six Siege. Enjoy the 2100-word chapter. I do not own Siege; Ubisoft and a few others do.

Liam and Monikia worked in silence, both turned to look over at each other before she paused to let it all pass over her.

She had been too distracted by what needed to be done for now, there was a lot more to their work now…. It had been something that needed to be done.

She looked at Liam who seemed too interested in his work for now to notice her as she drifted across the lab towards him.

"You enjoy inventing, no?" Monika asked to which Liam shrugged. "No, nothing? I expected more from someone fascinated in their work." Monika stated.

"If I said anything, you would comment upon it. I enjoy my work, but I have been unable to do much for now, and tinkering keeps my mind busy and my reflexes sharp." Liam stated.

Monika hummed and looked over his shoulder at the small canister which seemed to be the size of a grenade. She had seen such steel-plated canisters used by other members of the group.

Still? She could guess what his skill was at when it was all said and done. She was silent, very silent and she knew that such issues were common within the group…. Many of their ilk had been busy with other tinkering and other such things.

She was silent for a moment, holding it all in her hands and she could tell what it was for now.

She leaned against the counter, guessing that Liam had been busy and that she had been busy. she was not always the most social member of the team, knowing her friends had been busy and far too beyond care for it to matter once more.

Well, that and she was described as hard to work with for her perfectionist ideals. Not that she truly minded at the end of the day when it came down to it.

She looked at him with interest, the idea of someone who had done a lot of work and had nothing to show for it now. There were a lot of things that captivated her, not at all curious.

She was not at all amused and yet she looked at Liam. She did not know what he meant, she could never tell him how to work or know what was going on.

Perhaps it was just the virtue of their works and all of them seemed to contribute differently to their projects, they fought in their ways for it.

Yes, it seemed Liam of all people was trying to deal with it in his way. She had seen him work and she wanted to know exactly how he worked now.

She could tell he was invested in what he could and should have made the only problem simple. Well, they could not act a certain way around one another

There was a clear desire to have something happen, even she could have relaxed… She did not know what was being thrown her way… She did not know what was growing on her mind as she paused to think of it now and for good reason when it was all over… They had no such idea as of now when push came to shove.

Monika was silent, she did not know what was going on inside her. She looked at Liam as she looked to the side, too fascinated by it all now, too much had been sacrificed to try and figure it all out.

Liam was quiet as he sighed and the two were silent as of now, too much had been eager to figure something out… They held onto much more than this, a lot more than it was all said and done.

Liam was too fascinated when it came down to it, she was too silent for now… She did not know what was going on now.

She did not know what was going on now and for good reason. Monika never stopped thinking of what was going on and did not understand when it was all decided.

She did not know what was expected of them as soldiers and she sighed.

"You know, the more you look at me? The more I expect you to give me a lecture on why we are not supposed to be dealing with this sort of thing." Liam stated. "These weapons are highly experimental when it comes down to it… I enjoy dealing with something like this. A challenge keeps me on edge, it helps me relax… I enjoy this sort of thing." Liam stated before he sighed and looked to the side.

Liam of all soldiers was eager to deal with it for now as he crashed through the wall, all of them had begun to make it easier and easier.

They knew more and more at the end of the day that their work was different when it came to it all, they held such an idea for now when it came down to it.

Monika reached around him as he sighed, too tired to say anything and too exhausted now when it had come down to it.

She and he continued their work on different projects, him referring to her as a comrade and then an unequal teammate.

To be fair? Both worked better not focusing on anything besides work. Not once did he believe she was an evil coworker, just one more focused on his work when it came down to it… All of it was easier said than done.

Now? Now he held onto something else, something about it was growing out of his control… Very much outside his control now when it was all said and done.

She of all people could see Liam was tired and worn down… All of it hit harder, it struck beyond what needed to be done now, and for good reason… Something about it all came to a head now.

She hummed, tired… She hummed with relaxation and now? There was a LOT more to this when it was all said and done… She did not even know what was going on.

Liam seemed to be thinking of it all before it crashed to the ground… An idea that was going to be worse.

Liam seemed to relax, he sighed to himself as Monika continued to use him partly as a stool.

To him? He took it entirely in stride… Something about it all came crashing down now and wanted to be thinking of it all.

She did not want to relax; she did not want to think of it all now.

IQ seemed to be done and as she had been? She was eager to relax.

Liam simply thought of her as an odd little variable. She did not want to do something; she did not seem to care now or ever.

All these gestures were odder and odder… She wished to relax and she would not be able to even consider the other side.

"Are you almost finished trying to use my shoulders as a table?" Liam asked before he looked to the side.

Liam seemed to sigh and think of it all when it was all over… She did not want to grasp it; she did not intend to do it for now.

Liam wished to finish it all off at the end of the day. He was too unable to grasp it and yet he smirked unlike her.

Liam seemed to relax… Such an idea was growing on her mind before she wished to think of it all… She did not know it all.

"No. I am not." Liam heard as he hummed to himself. "I am not. I have plenty of work to do and you are where I usually stand." Monika hummed and then thought of it all at the end of the day.

She wished to relax… There was an alien feeling growing in the bottom of her gut… She did not want it all over yet.

Liam hummed and she untightened herself from where she was, bouncing on the soles of her feet like she was a demented monkey…. It was odder and odder for now… She was oddly at peace.

She and he were left in the dust now… She did not even seem to think of it all now and for good reason… An idea that needed to be pushed beyond this would push her… It always did push them.

She of all people was eager to push the ideas inside her head away, not wanting to deal with them now that such an idea was planted in her skull.

Still? It would have been odder and odder now. She wanted to look at her experiments and Monika knew she was losing now and for good.

Something about it all had to deal with for now as she looked downwards at the ground, an idea before she looked downwards as she paused to think of it.

IQ seemed to relax for now as she paused to think of it all as she relaxed to the side. Monika seemed to look to the side, something which had to be dealt with for now as she looked at the dozens of tools.

She was amused for now, something about it all before now had to relax once more. Monika had to think of it all before she thought of each problem.

Liam said nothing before he sighed and then thought of it all as more of a game than anything else… Why? Because he did not know him, he did not know anything, and neither did Liam.

Liam was quiet, very quiet with each little second that had been all too disturbed.

"You are very quiet when it comes to your work, are you not? You are much more tired of trying to deal with things without talking properly, knowing that the more time you spend on the little details? The more that you must spend doubting." Liam stated before he sighed.

Liam was all too interested in trying to solve the issue now… Something about it all was curious as to the results for now.

Liam hummed, frowning as Monika seemed to tap on the ground to an invisible song… Well, one she had been able to hear. It would have made the soldier laugh if it was not something that he could have dealt with anyway.

Monika smirked a smile that exposed pearly white teeth. The woman enjoyed a challenge and trying to figure out a way to win was something that she had to deal with now and for good reason.

The idea of being able to be superior to someone was more than a little exhausting at the time being… She had to think of it more and more but the challenge? Oh, did she adore a challenge, a way to flex her mental muscles?

Something about it all had been exciting for now… He was curious for the time being… She looked over at him, watching him try and relax, something about it all had been easier said than done with each little moment in time on the horizon, everything that she wanted to be.

Something within her mind was fracturing and shattering now, she wanted to break it all, tear it all down, and burn the ashes to dust. She had been too distracted now at the time to admit that this excitement was something fun, something chaotic now that burned like magnesium fire.

Liam for his part never said anything, never did anything at the time… It was all too much like a burning sting within him that had yet to die down or die out.

And he would be lying if he said he did not want to see how it could go wrong… Something about it all had pushed them into depths they were not willing to deal with.

Both Monika and Liam were on different paths. Even as they were pushed into things… Things they thought were better? They were still soldiers and soldiers were willing to put certain things first.

It was just harder and harder for them to deal with now. All of it was clear now these things needed to end and they would end one way or another.

Both times? Both ideas within them had been harder to think of now and for good reason.

Monika continued to reach over him, their height difference reminding one that both were still different people… Very different people who placed different burdens on what they were after and what they wanted.

Both times? Both ideas had to deal with something bigger than themselves… Part of being the type of soldier they needed to be now.
