Erza knows herself to be a very confident person. In battle, she is at her peak confidence. She tackles her problems head-on with pride. But never in her life had she felt so nervous before. Why?

Because she is about to go on a date. With her childhood friend nonetheless. Then why is she so nervous? Because her experience in dating is little to none. Sure she reads a lot of romantic novels, especially the ones rated 18, but has never experienced any of those things in real life. But that doesn't mean she isn't willing to go through with it.

Currently, she is in her house, in front of her mirror, checking whether her dress and make-up look all right. She was wearing a sleeveless pink dress that left her shoulders bare. She also wore white sandals. She doesn't want to disappoint her potential boyfriend and she wants her first date to be special. Especially considering it's with the person she has deep feelings for.

Oh, I forgot to mention. Her first date is with Natsu Dragneel.

"Okay, let's go through this one more time. Shirt?" Natsu patted his red colored shirt. "Check."

"Jeans?" He patted his black jeans. "Check."

"Shoes, that were totally not very expensive?" Natsu moved his foot around to look at his shoes which were a mixture of colors with the main color being black. "Check."

"Natsu, you look just fine. Stop worrying so much." Happy said to Natsu as he flew in front of his face.

"Yeah, but I just wanna make sure."

"You checked yourself about five times. Isn't that a bit much?" Happy asked.

"I know I know but I'm just really really nervous, okay?" Natsu admitted. "This is my first date and I want it to be special. This is Erza we are talking about."

"I still can't believe you adored Erza. I was pretty sure you and Lucy would be a thing." Happy told his opinion.

"Lucy is a good friend. Sure she is very attractive but she did not click for me, you know?" Natsu replied. "When I see Erza I feel really funny in my stomach and my heart beat always beats a little bit faster than normal. I've never understood until I asked Gajeel about. And I've never felt that way for Lucy."

"Oh, okay." Happy just shrugged.

"Hooooooo, okay. Alright, let's do this." Natsu finished preparing himself for the date. He made his way to the door.

"When will you be back?" Happy asked as he flew to his hammock.

"I don't really know. I might be home in the evening for dinner." Natsu replied.

"Good luck then. See you soon." Happy waved.

"See you soon buddy." Natsu finished and closed the door to his home. He started walking towards the meeting spot that he and Erza agreed on beforehand.

It was one in the afternoon and Natsu stood by the water fountain in the park of Magnolia. It was just a few steps away from the Fairy Tail guild. This was the meeting place and there was no sign of Erza. So he stood there waiting for her. Fortunately, he didn't have to wait long.

"Hey, Natsu!" Natsu turned to the voice and he was instantly surprised by what he saw. Erza came over to him and stood just a few steps in front of him.

"H-Hi Erza." Natsu stuttered with a finger scratching his cheek.

"Hi," Erza replied back.

"Y-You look really good," Natsu complimented as he observed Erza's overall appearance.

"O-Oh," Erza blushed a bit after hearing that. "Y-You think so?"

"Yeah."

"W-Well, thank you. You look really nice too." Erza complimented. She felt it was right to compliment him back. Natsu did really look a bit handsome now that she saw him in a different attire.

"Emm, to be honest, I have no idea what to do right now," Natsu said as he sheepishly rubbed his neck.

"Me neither haha," Erza honestly replied. Both of them stood there in silence while looking at each other with blushes on their face.

"S-So umm you uhh you have anything in mind?" Erza spoke just so that there would be no awkwardness between them.

"Eh? Umm, I was uhh...I was thinking we could go get some ice cream since it's really hot right now." Natsu replied.

"Yes! Let's go." Erza beamed when she heard ice cream. She grabbed Natsu's hand and dragged him to an ice cream shop she knows.

"W-Whoa! He-Hey slow down a bit, will ya?" Natsu said which made Erza realize what she had done. She blushed brightly when the fact settled in for her.

"U-Ummm...I-I'm sorry." Erza apologized and had a sad expression.

"..." Now Natsu was feeling guilty. So he took her hand this time and started walking slowly. "It's fine." He smiled at her. His face was also covered in pink like Erza's.

Erza was surprised at Natsu's actions but smiled nonetheless. The entire walk to the ice cream shop Erza relished the fact that she was holding hands with Natsu. It felt really nice for her. The same could be said for Natsu. This was his first time but he is enjoying it so far. Erza guided Natsu to an ice cream she usually goes to. They came in front of the shop and went in. They took a seat for two and waited.

They were holding hands the entire time.

"Hey uhhh do you wanna hold my hand through the entire date or what?" Natsu genuinely asked. Erza then realized that she never left his hand. She quickly released and covered her face which became even more pink.

"huuuuuuuu I wanna bury myself in a hole and never come out." Erza whined.

"I-I didn't mean in a bad way. I uhhh I-I liked it, you know? Holding hands with you felt...nice."

Hearing that, Erza felt somewhat relieved. She put her hands down on her lap and remained silent. For a few minutes, it was completely silent between them which made the situation awkward. Thankfully, the waitress came to take their orders.

"Welcome to Cold Crush. How may I help you today?" The waitress introduced herself and then took out her little notebook and pen.

"What's the best you can offer here?" Erza asked.

"We have a special ice cream that's a mixture of seven different flavors. It comes with a jelly cake as well. Also, we have a couples' special which is ice cream, milkshake, cake, and biscuits. All of which you have a choice for."

"We'll take the couples special, please?" Natsu requested.

"Sure. What flavors do you like?"

"I like strawberry," Erza said.

"I like butterscotch," Natsu said.

"Wonderful. Your order will be ready in just a minute." The waitress scribbled on the notebook and then clicked her pen. She went off leaving the couple by themselves again.

"Hey I just noticed. Your dress matches my hair color." This time Natsu started a conversation.

"Hmm?" Erza looked at her dress and then at Natsu's hair. "Oh yeah. I didn't even realize that. Also, your shirt matches my hair too."

"Yeah, I know. I thought of your hair color when I was picking which dress to wear today."

"R-Really?" Erza blushed at that.

"Really. I was a bit afraid you wouldn't like it when I first thought about it."

"I really like it. It suits you."

"R-Really?" Now Natsu got flustered.

"Really." Erza smiled.

"Here's your order." The waitress placed their orders before them. "Enjoy yourselves." She smiled and went away.

"Oooh, strawberry," Erza didn't waste time in digging in. She snatched the spoon and quickly took a spoonful of strawberry ice cream topped with strawberry syrup.

"Mmm~" She moaned at the sweet taste in her mouth. "Thish ish sho goooood~" Her eyes nearly watered.

Natsu didn't say anything. He just enjoyed watching Erza devour her ice cream. He took a spoon of his ice cream and ate it while keeping his eyes on Erza all the time. Erza noticed his stare and her cheeks got pink.

"W-What are you staring at me for?" Erza asked.

Natsu snapped out of his stupor before he became flustered as well. "O-Oh uhh sorry. I was just...admiring you. You look really pretty today." Natsu admitted while scratching his cheek.

Erza blushed bright red from hearing that. Sure, many people have complimented on her beauty on many occasions. But to be called 'pretty' by the person she loves was just a different experience entirely. It felt nice to hear that.

Awkwardness ensued between them, again. Neither of them spoke throughout the entire time they ate their snacks. Once they finished, they went to the counter to pay for the delicious food.

"That'll be five hundred jewels please?" The person behind the counter said. Natsu took out five hundred jewels and placed them on the desk. But he was surprised when Erza also placed another five hundred jewels on the desk.

"Hey, I'll pay for us," Natsu said.

"No, I want to pay," Erza retorted.

"Come on, let me pay this one time."

"I won't feel good about myself if you pay for everything."

"Excuse me?" Natsu and Erza turned to look at the person behind the counter. "You can just split the bill between you two."

Natsu and Erza looked at each other before taking all of their respective jewels and then putting two hundred and fifty each on the desk.

"Thank you. Please come again." The person said as he took the jewels and stored them. The couple then went out of the shop.

"That was delicious. I think I might want to come here anytime I want something sweet to eat." Natsu said.

"Let's go together next time, shall we?" Erza proposed. Natsu nodded his head before taking her hand and walking down the street.

"What shall we do next?" Erza asked.

"Hmmm. Since I was the first to suggest something, now you decide. What do you wanna do?" Natsu asked. Erza thought for a while before an idea popped up in her mind.

"I know. Follow me." Erza guided him further down the street and stopped in front of a building that said 'Ping Pong.'

"What's 'Ping Pong'?" Natsu asked out of confusion. They both went into the building to find many tables and people playing ping pong.

"Whoooooaaaaa," Natsu admired the entire place and the sport people were playing.

"I heard about this place on one of my missions. At that time, I couldn't explore much since I was alone but now you are here, I figured we could try it."

"That looks like fun. Sure, let's try it." Natsu and Erza then went to the counter.

"Hello there. Welcome."

"Hi, we are new here and we wanna try this out but we don't know what to do." Erza said.

"Don't worry. I'll help you guys out." The person came out of the counter area and guided them to an empty table. He picked two ping pong bats and a small orange ball.

"These are called rackets," He gestured to the bats he was holding. "You stand opposite to each other and hit this ball with the racket at your opponent."

"That's it?" Natsu raised his eyebrow. It was that simple?

"Yes, that's just it. You earn points if the ball touches the floor. For an hour, it will be a hundred jewels per person." The person said.

"Oh, okay. Thanks by the way." Natsu said with a smile.

"Don't mention it. If you have any other problems, you can just ask. Here you go." The person handed them a racket each and gave the ball to Natsu. "Have fun." The person then went back to the counter to tend to a group of people who had just arrived.

"Well, shall we get started?" Erza asked as she stood on one side of the table.

"Sure," Natsu replied as he stood on the side opposite to Erza. He looked at the ball and noticed it was very light.

"This ball is very light for its size," Natsu commented as he threw the ball in the air and caught it, repeating the action a few times. He hit the ball with the racket and it bounced towards Erza who hit the ball with a lot of force. The ball zoomed past Natsu and got embedded into the wall behind them. He looked back at the ball before looking at Erza.

"A little too much power, don't you think?" Natsu said before he went to retrieve the ball. Erza blushed due to the looks she got from other people in the hall.

"Sorry,"

"Eh, it's alright. Let's continue." Natsu hit the ball again and it bounced towards Erza. This time she hit it lightly and it bounced back to Natsu who hit it again towards Erza. This continued for a while and neither of them missed. A few people watched in awe as the couple played without even scoring any points so far.

Needless to say, they both were having fun. Suddenly, Natsu hit the ball towards the edge of the table. Erza was surprised but reached out to hit the ball. But she was too late as the ball bounced on the table and fell to the floor.

"I guess that's my point," Natsu grinned.

"Oh you're on." Erza excitedly said. She picked up the ball and hit it towards Natsu. This time they used several tricks to outsmart the other. Sometimes, Erza played a little soft before hitting the ball with more force so that Natsu missed. Sometimes, Natsu would hit on one side of the table before suddenly hitting to the other side, confusing Erza.

They continued to play till their time was over. They were both sweating a bit after playing so much.

"That was fun Natsu. We should do this more often."

"Yeah, I agree. Let's bring our guildmates too. I'm sure they'll love it."

"Hm-hm, yeah. I'm sure they would." The couple put their rackets on the counter before leaving.

"Ah, I built quite the sweat. And I'm feeling hungry already." Natsu said as he patted his stomach. Erza giggled before grabbing his hand and going to a place to fill their stomachs.

After their lunch, they visited the aquarium and enjoyed the view of various fish. After that, they explored other places in Magnolia and enjoyed themselves till the evening.

The couple were walking towards the park but something caught Natsu's eye as he stopped. Erza looked at him confused and asked, "What's wrong?"

"...Can you wait here for me? I'll be right back." Natsu said as he let go of her hand, much to her chagrin, and went into a jewelry shop. Erza stood exactly where she was and patiently waited. She looked around here and there observing the people walking around. She smiled as she watched the several children running around the fountain. But her happy moment was short-lived as a group of men came to her from behind.

"Hey there." Erza turned over to look at whoever called her. There was a blonde man wearing casual clothing in front of a group of other boys, all casually dressed. However, they were all smirking and gazing at her. Her smile dropped instantly.

"Yes?"

"You all alone here, miss?"

"Not really, no."

"You waitin for somebody?"

"Yes,"

"Me and the boys were thinking if you could come with us. We wanna show you something fun." The blonde guy said as he put on his best smile.

"Sorry to disappoint but I'm not interested." Erza firmly replied as she folded her arms under her impressive chest.

"Aw come on. It won't even take that long."

"I said I'm not interested. Please leave me now." Erza told them. The blonde guy's eye twitched in frustration as he dropped his smile.

"I think you misunderstood me. It wasn't a request," Now he had a crazy look on his face as he attempted to grab Erza's arm. But she dodged his arm much to his shock and confusion. He tried again but Erza dodge. He tried and tried again but Erza kept dodging.

"Grrr, just be an obedient girl and come with us," The blondie said with a harsh tone. "Boys, grab her." The rest of the boys moved to grab Erza.

Several seconds later, all the boys were on the floor groaning in pain as Erza did quick work of them.

"You think I'm a fool? I've encountered the kind of people like you before. And it's always the same thing. You say you wanna show me something fun. But you were gonna take me to a secret place and dose with some sleeping medicine and then rape me" The blonde guy whose face was messed up widened his eyes.

"I forgot to mention this but I'm currently on a date with my boyfriend." Erza said as Natsu came out of the shop with a bag in his hand. He looked at Erza and then at the group of boys on the floor.

"Something happened while I was away?" He asked.

"Nothing to drastic. Anyway, shall we go now? I'm getting tired of waiting her."

"Sure," Natsu reached out his hand and Erza took it. The couple continued on their journey to the park.

It was now six in the evening and our couple were walking hand-in-hand in the park where other couples were also spending their time. They made their way to a grassy area and walked over to a random spot before sitting down next to each other. They gazed at the starry sky above them.

"Look, look. Those stars make a pattern of a bear." Erza excitedly pointed to a spot in the sky but Natsu couldn't make out.

"Sorry, Erza. I can't really see that." Natsu admitted.

"That's okay. Tell me, what patterns do you see?"

"Hmmm. Oh, I see a shield. And uhh I see a clown face."

"Pbbbt, r-really? A clown face?" Erza laughed at that. Natsu laughed not soon after.

They sat there in silence and just enjoyed the view of the night sky. Natsu then glanced at Erza and saw that she was enjoying herself.

"Hey, Erza. Can you close your eyes for me?" He asked.

"Hmm? Oh uhh sure?" Erza was confused but closed her eyes anyway. After a while, she felt a cold sensation on her neck. Probably metal.

"Okay, you can open your eyes now." She opened as Natsu said and looked down. Her eyes widened as she what Natsu put on her.

A silver necklace with a small, silver, shiny sword. She gently grabbed the small sword and observed it. It shined underneath the glow of the moon. It was really beautiful to look at.

"Is this what you bought at that jewelry store?" Erza asked as she looked at Natsu with a shocked face.

"Hehe, yeah. It caught my eye and I uhh..." Natsu began poking his index fingers together with a flustered expression. "I-I just wanted to show you that I really love you."

Erza fell even more in love with Natsu than before.

"Oh Natsu!" She lunged at him and hugged him. Natsu hugged back as he smiled. "This is really wonderful, Natsu. Thank you." Erza said before she faced Natsu with a smile.

"And I love you too," Erza replied back. Natsu smiled at that but he felt like doing something else. So he got close to Erza's face and pecked her on the cheek. Erza was surprised again.

"Uhh what was that for?" Erza asked. Although she did like it a bit.

"I heard from Gajeel that a small kiss is one way of showing how much you love someone. So I just thought that I would..." Natsu blushed as he was embarrased to finish the sentence. He saw that Erza was pouting which made him confused. Although he did find a pouty Erza to be very adorable.

"You kissed me in the wrong place. Try again." Erza said.

"Oh uhh..." Natsu thought for a while before he blushed bright red. "Y-You want me to kiss you on the lips?"

"Yes. Now gimme," Erza puckered her lips for a kiss. Natsu slowly brought his face closer to Erza and connected their lips but only for a brief second. Erza pouted again.

"You're doing it so short. Do it longer," Erza whined as she puckered her lips again.

"O-O-Okay," Natsu connected their lips again but this time remained connected. He melted into the kiss as he hugged Erza closer. Erza swung her arms around Natsu's neck to deepen their passionate kiss.

Due to the need of oxygen, they had to break apart. But they looked at each other with all the love from the bottom of their hearts.

"Can we do that one more time?" Erza requested.

"Mm," Natsu nodded. The couple connected their lips again and nearly began a make-out session. After lots of kissing, it was time for Erza and Natsu to go home. They got up and made their way to the exit.

"Today was fun, Natsu. I really enjoyed spending time with you."

"I had fun too. And uhh I wanna ask something." Natsu said.

"Sure, what is it?"

"Can we do this again another time?"

"Do you even have to ask? Let's do this every day." Erza replied.

"R-Really?" Natsu felt so happy hearing that.

"Yes, I want to spend more time with you as much as possible."

"Me too."

They finally reached the exit. Before they went off to their respective homes, they faced each other holding hands.

"See you tomorrow?"

"Mhmm. Goodnight Natsu. I love you." Erza smiled and let go of their hands.

"Goodnight Erza. I love you too." Natsu smiled as he waved.

Both of them made it to their homes and had dinner before going off to sleep.

'I can't wait for tomorrow' They simulaneously thought.
