~November 24~

"Babe, can you get me the pie crust?" Emily asked JJ. They were currently making Thanksgiving dinner since they were hosting the friendsgiving they were having with the team. JJ received the pie crust from one of the shopping bags and handed it to Emily. Emily was making her famous pumpkin pie and cheesecake while JJ was preparing the ham and turkey. After Emily put the pumpkin pie in the oven and cheesecake in the fridge, she cleaned up her mess and washed her hands.

"Oh look, it's a wishbone." JJ said. Emily smiled and grabbed the end that JJ wasn't holding. They counted to three and pulled on it. JJ ended up getting the bigger part, which made her smile even more. "I guess my wish gets to come true." JJ said.

"And what would that be?" Emily asked with an amused look.

"That I formally do this. Emily, my conscience knew that I loved you before I even knew it. I'm so glad that I was able to figure it out. You are such an amazing person, an amazing mother to both boys, and a person full of surprises. You are my soulmate, and I want to spend the rest of my life fighting bad guys next to you and loving you. So Emily Prentiss, will you marry me?" JJ asked, getting down on one knee, again. She opened the ring box, reveling a beautiful ring.

"Of course you corn ball!" Emily said with the biggest smile. JJ smiled and put the ring on Emily's finger. She stood up and gave Emily the biggest kiss she could. JJ pulled away and leaned her forehead against Emily's.

"God I love you so much." JJ whispered. She kissed Emily again more passionately and pressed her against the counter. Emily pulled away before they went any further.

"Don't start something we can't finish." Emily said.

"We could always let the food burn." JJ smirked.

"Not happening. And what about Henry?" Emily asked.

"Relax. He's taking a nap and won't be up for-" Before JJ could finish her sentence, Emily flipped them around so JJ's back was against the counter and kissed her hungrily. Emily's right hand drifted to JJ's neck, gently but firmly wrapping her fingers around her neck. This action caused JJ to moan.

"Someone changed her mind fast." JJ said with a smirk.

"Well it would be shame if we didn't celebrate before everyone shows up." Emily replied. She picked JJ up and carried her to the couch.

"I know I'm really early, but I needed to- OH MY GOD! AHH! Uh, okay?!" they heard someone say while entering through the front door. They quickly pulled away from each other and discovered that it was Luca. He had dropped whatever was in his hands, and he had his eyes covered. He tried running out the door, but he ended up running into the wall. "My toe!" he shouted. He craddled his foot while hopping on one foot and still covering his eyes. Emily chuckled while JJ scrambled to put her clothes back on.

"There's a wall there." Emily said.

"Yeah, well, I'm trying to burn the memory of seeing you guys about to have sex on the couch." Luca said which caused Emily to chuckle again. Mainly because she was embarrassed that her son caught them, but also because it was a little funny.

"You can uncover your eyes now." JJ said.

"In our defense, we weren't expecting anyone for another couple of hours." Emily said.

"True. But now I know where I'm NOT going to sit anymore." Luca said.

"You might not want to go in the kitchen either. Or the bathroom. Or-"

"Please don't finish that. I'm just going to assume the entire house. Anywho, I wanted to know if I should wear the red tie or the blue tie." Luca said.

"You know it's not formal attire, right? You can wear something more comfortable." Emily asked.

"I know. I just want to impress your team. I'm nervous about meeting them." Luca said.

"I know, peanut, but don't overthink things. Wear what you feel comfortable wearing and be yourself. They're going to love you." Emily assured him. Luca took a deep breath and followed his moms' advice. A few hours later, the entire team had arrived, and it was time to get things started. However, there was an unexpected knock on the door. Emily looked at JJ with a confused look, and JJ shared the same look. Emily got up from her seat and opened it revealing Will. "Will? What are you doing here?" Emily asked.

"Can I speak with you? Alone?" Will asked.

"Uhh, I mean, I guess. What's this about?" Emily asked, stepping out into the chill air.

"You can't marry JJ." he said.

"What are you talking about?" Emily asked.

"JJ, she hasn't been very honest with you. I need to tell you-"

"Will? What the hell are you doing here?!" JJ asked in an angry tone. Yet, she was also scared at the same time that he was going to break the news to her that their relationship was based off of a dare.

"JJ I'm just-"

"I don't fucking care what you're about to say right-"

"JJ, would you please just-"

"Will, please le-"

"JJ you're pregnant." JJ didn't say anything after that. She looked at him with quite the shocked look.

"I beg your pardon?" JJ asked, making sure she heard him correctly.

"You're pregnant. At your check up that you apparently had, they did blood work just to be sure everything's okay. One of the things that was tested for was pregnancy. You're pregnant. They tried to reach you, but you never answered, so they called me. I guess you still have me listed as a contact on the paperwork." Will explained. Emily just stood there in shock. She felt numb with this information. She couldn't move nor speak.
