Chapter Four: Mysterious Girl
"Sonic?" Aleena called out again.
"Uh, Amy! I have an idea, but I need you to trust me." Sonic panicked.
"Trust you? What with?" Amy wondered.
"Just play along with what I'm about to do here. Just pretend I saved you from drowning." Sonic told her.
"But I'm not even in the... ... WAAAAAA!" Amy was cut off by Sonic pushing her into the water.
Sonic then jumps into the water, and holds onto Amy.
"Sonic, what are you...?!" Amy screamed.
"Just trust me. Act as if I have saved you from the water." Sonic told her.
"Sonic, what on Earth are you doing in the water?!" Aleena shrieked in shock.
"Nothing to worry about, madam! You're safe now! " Sonic pretended.
"Oh! Uh, and thank you for rescuing me, kind Sir! My boat started leaking from the bottom." Amy played along.
"Sonic, do you mind explaining to me what is going on here, please?!" Aleena asked, losing her patience.
"Oh, Mom! Uh, sorry, I didn't notice you were there. I just rescued this girl from the boat she was on, that started to sink." Sonic explained.
"As brave as you are, Sonic, and I'm glad she's safe now, dear girl, but the thing is, I don't see a boat out there." Aleena pointed out.
"Oh, it wasn't a big boat, Ma'am. It was a small rowing boat. I went to anchor it far over there, so I could go fishing, and then I accidentally dropped the anchor, which pierced quite a big hole on the bottom of my boat." Amy explained, acting scared.
Sonic was surprised at how well she was acting out in this scenario. She was playing the part very well, in Sonic's eyes. Aleena now was convinced.
"Well, it's nice to see you are safe now, Miss...?" Aleena smiled, trying to catch her name.
"Rose. Amelia Rose. But please, you may call me Amy." Amy smiled back.
"Well, pleasure to meet you, Amy. I am Queen Aleena of Mobius. And you have met my son, Prince Sonic." Aleena teased.
"Pleasure, Miss. You're most welcome for saving you." Sonic smiled. Amy smiled back.
"Well, Amy, how would you like to join us for breakfast? Which was why I was trying to find you, Sonic!" Aleena said, as she glared at Sonic.
"Yes, Mom! Sorry Mom!" Sonic gulped, nervously.
"Are you sure, Your Magesty? I don't want to intrude, or anything." Amy wondered.
"Not at all, Amy. You've been through so much trouble, you've earned a nice little treat." Aleena smiled.
"I'll gather the maids to assist you, Amy. Ladies! You care to aid this lady with a bath, and something fresh to wear, please?" Sonic asked the maids that were in the garden, watering the plants.
"Right away, Sire. We'll help this poor girl out." one of the Maids replied.
"You'll be OK, Amy. They'll look after you. Just go with the flow." Sonic whispered.
"I trust you, Sonic." Amy smiled.
And with that, Amy left with the Maids to be washed, and new fresh clothes.
"As for you, Sonic, you better get washed, and dressed also. Your father won't appreciate you coming to breakfast like this." Aleena mentioned.
"I'm already on it, Mom." Sonic smiled.
And with that, Sonic made his way into the palace, and made his way into his bedroom, and took his clothes off, and went in for a shower.

Meanwhile, Amy was in her own private room, with her own bathroom. She was also having a shower, while the Maids were looking for a nice dress for her to wear.

From both point of views, Sonic and Amy finished having their shower, and they grabbed a towel, and dried themselves off.

Amy had finished drying herself off, and she saw the dress that the maids have left on her bed.

The Maids have left the room to allow Amy to get herself changed. Amy lifts the dress off the bed, and looked at it thoroughly. It was a rose red dress, which included for it was a white pear necklace, and red shoes. Amy smiled happily, and then proceeds to put the dress on.

Sonic finished putting on his suit, and was starting to put on his aftershave, and Amy had just finished putting her dress on, and also put on some perfume.

Sonic and Amy finished getting ready, and they made their way out of their rooms, and made their way towards the grand staircase. The Maids were around them doing some chores, which keeps the palace clean.

Sonic and Amy finally make it to the grand staircase, and they were both opposite to from one set of staircase to another. Sonic and Amy look across and saw one another. Sonic gasped in surprise when he saw Amy wearing her red dress.
"Oh, wow! She looks beautiful." Sonic said in his mind.

Sonic and Amy finally made it to the bottom of their set of staircase, and they were standing in front of one another. Sonic and Amy smiled at one another, and Sonic proceeded to bow. Amy giggles, and Amy gave Sonic a curtsy.

"I have to say, Amy, for someone who's a Merhog, it's so different seeing you as a Mobian, and you look absolutely beautiful in that dress." Sonic smiled.
"Well, thank you. I'm starting to get the hang of Mobian stuff, and walking now. You're looking very handsome also." Amy smiled back.
"Well, thank you. On the way to breakfast then?" Sonic asked, as he held his arm out.
"Lead the way, Prince." Amy replied, taking ahold of Sonic's arm
And with that, Sonic lead the way for Amy towards the dining hall for breakfast. How will Sonic be able to keep Amy's secret about being a Merhog?
