On June 21st, Cynthia woke up groaning, starting to regret this, not sure if she could do it.
Luke told his siblings what it was like at Oliver's birthday sleepover. He then looked hurt.
They comfort him. Luke felt jealous and hurt. Lucy walked off.
Later, Lucy came up to Luke with another birthday cake for him.
"W-What's this?" Luke sniffed.
"You deserve more cakes." Lucy says, having baked 3 cakes.
Luke smiled as Lucy lit the candles on it and smiled as the siblings decided to sing a different song to him.
Luke smiled, blowing the candles out.
"You're welcome." Lucy says.
Later, Gemma wanted an interview. Luke was hissing at the camera.
"What's wrong?" Gemma asked.
"They all give each other birthday sleepover cakes, but never me! No one loves Luke, no one!" Luke sobbed, throwing a fit in public.
Cynthia blinked as she found out about what went on from Stephen.
"How could you two treat Luke like that?" Gemma asked. Remy and Oliver admittedly looked ashamed.
"We forgot and we're so sorry, Luke. Besides, you have more than one birthday. So you get more cakes than us." Oliver says.
"LUKE KNOWS THIS! THAT DOESN'T MAKE LUKE FEEL BETTER!" Luke hissed.
"Fine, we'll give you birthday sleepover cakes when your days come." Remy says.
This was on television and Remy and Oliver knew they were in trouble.
The siblings later comfort Luke as he feels unloved and found out about this on Oliver's day.
Lucy baked him another cake to cheer him up. "Do you want it?" She asked, wondering if he wanted another cake.
Luke sniffed. He felt lied to by his friends.
Later, Cuphead and Mugman look for extra partners as they were unlucky.
Mugman chose Beau and Lisa. Beau grinned and Lisa smiled a bit.
Luna was excited to get back on stage as Jessica played in her room, accidentally cutting her finger on the guitar.
"Jessica, no…" Luna says as Jessica sobs. Luna then heals her hand and shows her how to play it.
"Th…" Jessica stammered as Luna froze. Did Jessica speak? It wasn't actually speaking but she was trying.
"Can you say Luna?" Luna asked her.
Jessica tries and starts to tear up as she couldn't. She was trying really hard, but nothing came out as she sobbed.
Charity comforted Jessica.
"She's really trying to speak, but something is wrong." Luna says.
With Remy, he couldn't help but feel guilty. How long had he treated Luke like that?
He sat in his room, thinking.
Meanwhile, Jessica was at a doctor's office, getting a test to see why she couldn't talk
"It seems she had an accident years ago, and it's affecting her vocal cords." the doctor says. Jessica sniffles.
"Will she ever speak?" Luna asked.
"No." The doctor says as Jessica begins to cry.
With Luke, he felt bad for Jessica as he got ready for the show. He wasn't talking to Remy or Oliver at the moment.
Cynthia goes to see Oliver.
"Are you okay?" She asked him.
"Cynthia, I'm a bad friend, aren't I?" Oliver asked.
"What was your first guess?" Cynthia said.
"Yes. Yes, I am." Oliver says.
"Just say sorry and get him a cake." Cynthia says.
At the show, when Luke saw Oliver and Remy, he hissed angrily.
"Look, we need to get along." Cynthia said.
"They hate Luke! They don't like Luke any more!" Luke was hissing uncontrollably.
"Look, Luke, if you can't get along with them, you will lose." Cynthia says.
"You're going to lose either way." Cecilia says to her sister, who sighed.
Luke hissed at his two friends, who looked scared of him.
"Luke, we baked you a cake…" Stephen said. They reveal a nice cake. Luke takes a close look at it.
It said "Happy Birthday Luke" with Arctic blue icing and candles.
"What…what is this for? I turn 16 in 6 months…" Luke looked at the cake and his guilty friends.
They had made 10 cakes to make up for all the times they missed his birthdays.
"Thank you." Luke says, a bit happier.
Later, Gemma came on stage.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 7th season of America's Next Hitmaker!" Gemma says. "It is going to be an amazing season!"
Fans cheered.
"We are doing a Sensational Squad season, which is a team of four! The winning team this season will be in for a real treat!" Gemma says.
Mugman was excited.
"Not only will our winning team take home the grand prize of $7,000,000…but they also win a full and exclusive tour of Soleil's Sweets, the newest and most amazing candy store and factory out there! And the winning team also gets their tour in the state or country of their choosing, a recording contract, and the coveted diamond microphone trophy." Gemma says.
"Candy!" Emma says.
"Oh, how exciting!" Remy says.
"Coming up first, one of the best bands that love what they do, the Moon Goats!" Gemma says.
Fans cheered as they did a performance of "My Happy Ending" by Avril Lavigne.
Alem tuber growled, annoyed, as he was watching this.
"Way to go, Luna!" Lincoln cheered.
Luna smiled as she went even harder. She soon finished as fans cheered.
"Okay, we're up" Colleen tells Sal, Jason, and Angry Luigi.
"How did I get myself in this?" Brandy asked.
Fans cheered, chanting Luke's name, but most were patient.
"Coming up next is the team of Sal, Colleen, Jason, and one of the winners of last season, Brandy Waterlash!" Gemma says as fans cheered for Brandy.
They came out and performed "I Gotta Feeling" by The Black Eyed Peas.
Fans cheered a bit.
Luke was pretty annoyed backstage. He had been a bit out of sorts since the show started.
Lucy checked on him.
Luke adjusted his Mad Hatter hat, looking around.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the stars of the show, Luke Huntington, Remy Estevez, Oliver Fox, and their beautiful female companion, Cynthia Widdlestine!" Gemma says.
The group appears as the crowd screams. They then begin their "Let's Go Crazy" performance.
Mugman frowned, knowing he had no chance. Beau began to reassure him.
They soon finished as the crowd roared.
Mugman smiled as he went off to get ready.
Soon, Gemma hit the button for Luke, and it wasn't even the episode for its debut. Luke was a bit shocked.
"I guess they think we're that good. I told you the 3 of us are a good team. And Cynthia, too." Remy says.
"Okay, we're up next." Alem tuber says to his pals.
"Cosmic buddies!" Fans chanted as Alem tuber and his pals leap and attack dummies, doing flips and landing, making an epic pose. Fireworks rose up.
They did a performance of "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz. The crowd liked what they saw.
"Cosmic buddies!" Fans chanted.
Alem tuber smirked at Angry Luigi and Oliver smugly. Oliver finally learned ignorance and just ignored it. Oliver was no longer going to brag about how good he was.
Mugman, Cuphead, Beau, and Lisa went on next. Fans cheered as they performed "I'm Still Standing" by Taron Egerton.
Fans chant their names as Cuphead smiled. They finished minutes later.
Fans cheered for them as they walked offstage.
Kali, Brock, Ann, and David went on and fans loved them.
Kali finished as fans cheered.
Luke was already out of his stage costume backstage. He sat at his mirror and stared at himself for a while.
"What's wrong?" Lucy asked.
"How about just letting me leave now? I already know I'm moving to the next show." Luke says coldly.
Lucy took him home.
Next, Savannah, Tina, Charity, and Victoria went on, performing "I'm Like A Bird" by Nelly Furtado.
Fans screamed, seeing Charity. Charity just smiled at the crowd.
"That's the Charity Huntington!" One fan says. "She's a legend!"
"And that's Victoria Estevez!" Another fan says. "She's amazing!"
They finished as Savannah took out her cupcake cannon and shot the cannon. The crowd went nuts.
Soon, they were heading home as Tina felt bad. Jessica only wanted to speak, but couldn't. Jessica sniffed.
"Mom, I saw her try, I really did." Luna says, knowing the doctor was being cruel.
"I know, honey." Charity says to Luna.
"M…" Jessica stammered, trying to talk she was seen in pain doing this
"Yeah…" Luna says
"Tina…" Jessica finally spat out before collapsing. Charity was shocked.
"She spoke!" Tina says, excited.
"Yeah, but it hurt her." Luna says, worried "And her voice felt gnarly and it made her be in pain…"
"You did great, love." Oliver says to his girl. Cynthia smiled at Oliver.
"I signed lots of autographs!" Cynthia says.
"I know." Oliver says. They go out for some ice cream.
Luke just went to his room. "Jessica this and Jessica that!" Luke screamed. "So she spoke, big deal…"
"Sweetie, why are you angry?" Charity asked.
"She's taking all the attention again just because she uttered a word!" Luke says.
"Don't worry. Your father says they won't be here as often now. The Yates family is taking them in." Charity says. "It's not because of you. It's because Jancey is a voice coach and an autism expert. Jessica and Tina will be better taken care of there."
Luke nodded, understanding.
Tina was packing for Jessica. Jessica had made Charity a thank you card.
"You are so kind! Thank you for the card." Charity says to Jessica.
"Thanks for taking care of us." Tina says.
"Of course, sweetie." Charity says. "You girls are welcome here any time."
Leni hugs them. Soon, it was time for Jancey to pick them up.
"See you later." Charity says with a smile as they leave.
