Chapter Ten: Caught In The Act
Later that evening, we enter the grand hall where everyone was having dinner. Some where even finished. Everyone including Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Jules, Aleena, Nigel, Alicia, and Tails's fiance, Cream who is a cream and orange coloured rabbit, with chocolate brown eyes, and Knuckles's wife, Tikal, who is an orange echidna, with blue eyes. Sally and Monkey Khan were the only two missing.
"You really love ice cream, don't you, Amy?" Sonic chuckles.
"All too much, Sonic." Amy giggled.
"So, you're Amy? Sonic mentioned about you when we were getting ready for dinner." Knuckles questioned.
"Brave of Sonic to save you this morning." Tails added.
"Yeah, Sonic means well. Don't know how I'd be here now, if he hadn't saved me." Amy lied, but convincingly.
"Well, it's good you're safe and sound now." Cream smiled.
"Also, where is Sally, and Monkey Khan? They missed like twenty minutes of dinner service." Tikal wondered.
"I'm sure Sally means well. No idea what she's doing, though." Nigel thought.
"Well, I've had enough waiting! What could she, and him be doing to miss dinner?!" Sonic raged.
Without hesitation, he stood up angrily, and left to find them.
"Sonic, where are you going?!" Aleena wondered.
But Sonic didn't answer, he just left the hall, on his way to find Sally. He ran up the stairs, looking for the bed chambers where Sally slept in. As soon as he made it to the door, he knocked on it.
"Who is it?" Sally called.
"It's Sonic! Sally, what are you doing?! Dinner was served twenty minutes ago, and you and Khan have nowhere to be seen!" Sonic sternly told her.
"I'm just getting makeup on!" Sally claimed.
"It takes you over twenty minutes to apply makeup?! I'm not convinced you're being honest! What are you REALLY doing in there?!" Sonic yelled again.
"Sonic, don't come in! I have no clothes on!" Sally shrieked.
"Why does that matter?! We're to be married soon, so I'll be seeing everything of your body anyway!" Sonic yelled.
Sonic then grabbed the handle, and opened the door.
"Sonic, don't!" Sally yelled.
But it was too late, Sonic entered the room, and saw Sally in her bed. But he gasped in surprise, because he also saw that Money Khan was in there too.
"Sonic!" Khan yelled.
"Sonic, this isn't what it looks like!" Sally shrieked in fear.
"What's going on here?! Are you seriously kidding me right now?! We're supposed to be married soon, and you're cheating on me?!" Sonic yelled in anger.
"Sonic, come on!" Sally pleaded.
"I've heard, and seen enough! I want you, you, and your family to pack your bags, and out of my palace, NOW!" Sonic yelled.
And with that, he left the room, and slammed the door. He ran back downstairs towards the grand hall, and he walked towards Nigel, and Sonic slammed his hand on the table.
"Nigel, Alicia! The wedding is off! Pack your bags, and get the hell out of my palace now! And take that tramp daughter with you!" Sonic snarled.
Everyone gasped in surprise. Nobody has ever heard Sonic speak like this before.
"Sonic!" Aleena surprisingly shrieked at what Sonic just said.
"What's the meaning of this behaviour, Sonic?!" Jules asked sternly.
"I'll tell you exactly what it is, Dad! I found the problem why Sally and Khan were late for dinner! They've been messing about behind our backs, which technically, Sally was cheating on me! So now, I'm done with her, I can't trust her, she's proven that to me, now I want her, and her family out of my palace, out of my face, and out of my life, and I mean RIGHT NOW!" Sonic snaked again.
"Oh my! Why would anyone do that to someone they're suppose to marry? "Amy sadly thought to herself.
Sally and Khan came running into the hall, both wearing nothing but a housecoat.
"Sonic, it's not like that! I made a mistake!" Khan called out.
"Sonic, please give me another chance! I love you, Sonic!" Sally cried out.
"YOU DON'T LOVE ME! If you loved me, you wouldn't have done that! You wouldn't have gone anywhere near him, or anyone THAT close! You betrayed my trust, Sally! I knew something weren't right about you from the start! Now I want nothing more to do with you! I want you all out of my palace, now!" Sonic demanded, in anger.
"Sonic, calm down now!" Khan tried to tell him.
But Sonic took a swing, and punched Khan in his jaw, knocking him clean out. Everyone gasped.
"Sonic, relax!" Aleena shrieked.
"And what's that proving?! Thing is, Sonic, how do I know you wouldn't have done the same thing to me?! You've been hanging around with her every since you 'saved' her from drowning! Where does she really come from? Because there's no way a simple peasant like her can look THAT beautiful! I'm the princess here, damn it!" Sally shrieked.
"And THAT is the problem, Sally! You don't trust me, and that is a turn off for me! So, this is the last time I'm gonna tell you, and your parents! Get out of my palace, right now! And I don't want to see either of you again!" Sonic yelled.
After that, Sonic left the hall, and everyone watched on.
"Sonic, wait!" Aleena called.
"Leave him be, Aleena. He needs time to himself. As for you, young Sally! I shall arrange a carriage for you, and your family, and of course KHAN, tonight! So get packing!" Jules demanded.
Amy however looked on, very concerned about Sonic. Sonic was in his bed chambers, and angry tears were flowing from his eyes. He was pacing back and forth, breathing heavily. Sonic stops, and looks at himself in the mirror.
"As if life couldn't get any worse, my fiance acts suspicious, my heart questions whether she's the one or not, and then she cheats on me?! Can't life just be easy for once?! CAN'T IT?!" Sonic yelled with rage.

Mirror Mirror on the wall
Show the Ruth, or not at all
Break this glass and walk away

Sonic then smashes the mirror, and throws a couple of stuff off the unit they were sitting on. Sonic then afterwards took a seat on his bed, and placed his hands on his head.

(Sonic singing)
For this long it is touch and go
Forgotten truths that nobody knows
Time it'll heal but hurts inside
Right now I'm screaming why
Would I ever need to come back here?

Sonic stands up, and walks towards the balcony, and stands at the edge, and sees the carriage that Nigel, Alicia, and Sally were entering. Monkey Khan even had his separate one to leave in, as soon as he regained conscious.

(Sonic singing)
No, I'm never the same
I believe I'm going insane
There's no way I'm the one to blame
.
Sonic in anger walked back into the bedroom, with both hands on his head.

Mirror Mirror on the wall
Show the truth, or not at all
Break this glass and walk away

Sonic looks at another mirror in his room. His eyes were still filled with sad, but angry tears.

(Sonic singing)
And it comes to me again
Like a storm that never ends
Showing me that I am not OK
Trust is the key but I wonder why
Right to my face you lied
Can't change the way I feel inside

Sonic again smashes another mirror, and this time, a sharp shard of the mirror cuts Sonic's hand open. And Sonic quickly looks for something to wrap his hand up.

No I'm not the same
I'm done playing your games
Now I see that you're the one to blame
.
Sonic finished wrapping his hand up, using an old shirt that he doesn't wear anymore. He didn't care that his hand was in pain however. He was too angry to care.

Sonic in a fit of rage, smashes every glass, mirror, or wardrobes in his room. He didn't care, as he was an emotional wreck at this point. Boiling tears rolling down his face.
"DAMN IT ALL! DAMN EVERYTHING!" Sonic snapped.

After that, Sonic panted heavily, and he collapsed on all fours, and started crying uncontrollably. After a few minutes, he heard a knock on the door.
"Sonic?" the female voice called.
Sonic turned to face the door, and gasped in surprise.
"Amy?" Sonic thought.
