Guess who's back. I'm back again. Helghy's back, tell your friends. With that out of my system, welcome back everyone. We have another update for King of Hell. I really hope that you all are enjoying this story so far. I realize I am posting for it more often than what I normally would but that is because this story is completely planned out to the point that the end is within sight. Plus it's shorter than most of the projects I take on so I want to hit that coveted completed work mark.

A review by Danielbrito2415 said: All the time in the world to escape like he planned to, and he just let them sell him to the highest bidder. I can understand if he was born a servant but he wasn't, it's actually pathetic. You just want him to have an excuse of why he got strong all the while he's going to be another puppet. Shame

My response: Unfortunately you misinterpreted the situation. Minato never planned on running off at all, reduced to a servant he may have been but it was still a better position to be in than trying to rough the underworld on his own. After all while in a noble house he has much easier access to information and items to help him grow stronger. That also brings me to the point that Minato was already going to grow strong without Zekram's involvement. Zekram needs Minato for his plans, Minato does not need Zekram for his growth, at least in power. The primary thing Zekram offers is connections, like those with Sirzechs and his group as well as an education only available to nobles in the underworld. TLDR, you have the situation backwards and Zekram needs Minato more than Minato needs him but it is more convenient for Minato's goals if he has access to the resources Zekram does.

By the by, Minato's usage of the term Master isn't in the capacity of a servant but that of a student. He is Zekram's apprentice after all.

So for this chapter we will be seeing a bit more of the elite clans, that is of course including the four maou families and the Six Houses of Lucifer.

Anyway lets get on with the story already.

King of Hell

Chapter Four

Summits and Spies

In the five years since he had been introduced to his friends Minato had grown exponentially, just as they had. The five of them were relatively well known among the pillar families and even his own mother and father had occasionally made a fuss until he appeared at a social gathering at their side.

Zekram had insisted that such things were necessary for the greater plan after all. The Pillar clans were the key. They formed the backbone of their society, or at least had since the end of the Great War. No one would admit the shift in power since the loss of the four founders and so many of their closest brethren among the elite of their society.

Day by day, Minato was exposed to more and more of the reality of their world and before long it was abundantly clear that Lord Bael's predictions and plans were all precisely right. THose currently in power abused what positions they held to such an extent that it was detrimental not only to those that served them, but their positions themselves. It was like a rot decaying the civilization Lucifer and his three fellow founders had created.

Where once Zekram had expressed his disgust in regard to such things, now Minato felt it too. However his reaction was even more pronounced. The abuses running from the four false satans all the way down to the lowest devil peasants burned at his heart. He took it personally and it had taken just as much work to learn how to hide his reaction toward such things as it had to properly interact and manipulate those in their society.

It was growing worse too. Already divisions between the Pillar families and those of the handful of chosen clans by the current Maou were becoming apparent. It wasn't a clean split of course. Some clans enjoyed a level of fondness from their higher ups that few others received. Among them of course was the Bael clan. Minato could easily imagine that if his Master had been any other man then perhaps there would not truly be a threat of a future war hovering just beyond the horizon.

If the Maou had any other man in Zekram Bael's position, their heaping of praise and support would have likely garnered them all the loyalty they needed. Thankfully for their race as a whole, Zekram Bael was a true devotee of Lucifer. The first Lucifer. He detested what he considered the shameful behavior and mentality of the lost founder's descendants. That and what Minato was sure was a large helping of ambition to crown himself the solitary king of all of hell. He was the only one the man had admitted as much to.

Minato was in a unique position. He was Zekram's only confidant. Something the young man was not willing to risk for any machinations of his own…yet. He was ambitious but he didn't have the mad desire that his teacher did. In fact he almost preferred it this way. He would happily see Zekram Bael sat upon a throne overlooking the underworld.

To that end he was now accompanying his master for a meal as had become frequent. At twenty, Minato had very few hands on training sessions with Zekram any longer and his tutelage had transitioned more to a method of having political and philosophical discussions and debates over a meal or while drinking some wine. At the older man's urging he had begun to host the same with his friends as well.

It took quite a lot of time to get over that somewhat rocky start that they'd had, but once Sirzechs, Serafall, Ajuka, and Falbium had gotten to know him they had all gotten along perfectly. Sirzechs and he were especially close. Their mentalities were simply too similar for them not to be, though Minato suspected that Sirzechs was a bit too merciful for a devil. It was a nice change of pace from the majority of their brethren though. They would normally categorize Minato into the same box of being too merciful as well.

"What did you think of what happened to the Zepar clan's second daughter the other night?" Zekram asked Minato as patted his mouth clean with a crisply folded napkin.

"It was horrible." Minato simply replied getting a stern look from his teacher.

That response was not enough. He knew it but he had taken to probing the patience of his master from time to time lately. Zekram had silently approved of such a thing. After all, in their society even the two of them might find themselves at odds at times.

"It works out in our benefit. The Zepar clan are known for their steadfast loyalty but Lord Zepar is also known to cherish his three children deeply. I think her name was Monnasi or something like that. A member of the Sargatanis house tried to take her into a back room. It wasn't event a member of the main family and he was trying to force himself onto her. She fought back and managed to scar his face. There's going to be a duel in a few days between Lord Zepar and the Sargatanis heir over the whole thing. Monnasi will be taken as a servant by the clan as recompense." Minato explained.

"Not anymore." Zekram said gravely.

"What do you mean?" Minato asked with a bit of worry.

"Lord Zepar was visited by Lord Sargatanis and Lord Fleurity. No one is certain when he will awaken after the beating he received. He hasn't been afforded magical healing from what I understand. His youngest daughter has been taken by the Sargatanis and already been broken in as a mistress by several of the members of that clan and our current esteemed Lord Beelzebub. The eldest was at least given to the Fleurity and betrothed to the youngest son of their clan head." Zekram explained, causing Minato to clench his teeth at such an openly cruel act. He could only imagine the helplessness that the members of the Zepar family all held at the moment. Especially the two young women.

"And the heir?" Minato dared to ask.

"A guest of the Lord Beelzebub." Zekram shrugged.

"A hostage to keep the rest of the clan in line." Minato grounded out. He slid his plate away. He was no longer in the mood to eat.

"The boy is merely twelve. He'll either become a perfect puppet for the Elite clans and our sitting Maou and marry among them before taking over his father's position, or he'll never see his twentieth birthday." Zekram said seemingly unbothered by that fact.

"That would end the main family's bloodline. All of Lord Zepar's siblings gave their lives in the Great War and his wife died having their son." Minato realized out loud.

"The lesser portions of the family could technically step up and secure the line, but with three possible candidates from Lord Zepar's blood itself it is unlikely. While only one of those three will pass their name down, what is the loss of a clan really if it's bloodline remains and is secure within the Elite Clans." Zekram asked his protege.

Minato stared across the table at his master as his mind worked at the situation from every angle he could think of.

"It was premeditated to bring the bloodline into a more secure position…or because of Lord Zepar's proven loyalty it was a test to see how far they could go with a Pillar Clan before facing some kind of backlash." Minato postulated.

"I had thought the same thing, but you are forgetting one vital piece of information." Zekram pointed out.

The blond narrowed his eyes but slowly shook his head unable to figure out what he was missing.

"Idiocy. Our leaders and so-called betters are overpopulated with idiots. I have absolutely no doubt in mind that the fool that started all of this will be dead in a few days time. Not even a member of one of the Six Houses of Lucifer can get away with causing such turmoil. Not even if it benefits his house and the elite clans as a whole in the long run. Rather the idiot expected his position and status to give him free access to the beautiful young daughter of a noble family and when he was harmed he made enough noise that his fellow sadists and idiots nearly rendered a valuable demonic bloodline extinct. Someone was smart enough to run damage control as best as they could but there is no going back with what has been done." Zekram lectured.

The meal carried on much like that for another hour. Of course the food was forgotten and cold by that point and neither spent the time eating, but rather discussing other similar occurrences over the last few years. None had been so terrible or dramatic as what everyone was already calling the Zepar affair. That did not mean that there weren't several terrible incidents happening regularly with increasing frequency.

"I wish to also inform you that you will be joining your friends Sirzechs, Ajuka, and Falbium to be measured for suits and formal wear for an upcoming summit called by Lord Lucifer." Zekram explained to him as he stood up from the table.

Minato followed suit though he hummed in thought as well. "A summit hasn't been held since the current Maou's parents all abdicated following the finalization of the cease fire with the angel and fallen angel factions."

"Precisely, thus you and your compatriots will all look your best. Thankfully, as obnoxious as all of you children can be, I feel confident in leaving you to at least clothe yourselves." Zekram sniped, getting only a chuckle from his student.

"I'll be there." He said before departing for the night. He was currently working on something new and needed some time tonight to work on the theoretical side of it all.

The summit was a large affair. It had to be as it was an event that brought representatives from every clan, not just the elite and pillar families but even the lesser nobles among the extra demons. It was a massive conclave by any measure and most were left to stand though Minato did so more out of a sense of pride at being the one at his master's side as he sat just below the Maou and elite clans in the hierarchy of the underworld.

Nearby sat Minato's friends as well. He, Sirzechs, Ajuka, and Falbium, had all made a point to get matching suits, though they were color coordinated with their clans, or in Minato's case a white with gold accents. He almost looked like an angel rather than a devil thanks to the attire. Sirzechs' red suit had the same cut and style though and the only one in their group that stuck out a bit much was Serafall who had instead worn an attractive blue and black dress that caught the red head's eyes much to Minato's amusement.

With how great and massive the summit was however, it did not take long for the purpose of the event to become clear. The Maou were considering the act of invasion into the Fallen controlled portions of the underworld as well as heaven once again. It would be the start of a new episode of the Great War.

"Lord Bagrath of the Valefor Clan is recognized to speak!" Caitos Lucifuge, head of his clan and right hand of the sitting Lucifer announced.

"Thank you. My lords Maou, I sympathize with you in my hatred of the Fallen who take our lands and the Angels who took our founders from us after casting them from Heaven. I cannot see how invading either faction will lead to anything but our eventual extinction however. We are still recovering from the last war and it is largely known that the only reason the cease fire even exists now is because your predecessors were willing to shame themselves and negotiate with the likes of the Grigori Governor-General and the Archangel." Bagrath made his case.

"You're saying that we continue to exist only through the mercy of our enemies?" Lord Leviathan asked, causing the head of the Valefor clan to pale immensely.

"Of course not my lord! If given the chance our forces would crush the foolish hordes of Heaven and annihilate the crows next door to us." Bagrath quickly replied.

"So then you support this measure? That is excellent to hear, my Lord Valefor." Lord Asmodeus said with a laugh as the Pillar clan head slowly sank back into his seat.

The summit meeting had fallen silent for a time after that moment. It was painfully clear that the Maou had called this summit more as a formality than any type of respect to their subordinates. The thought of a renewed war was clearly terrible for the gathered nobles. Many of them were dwindling in numbers since the last war. Most High Class devils had to lead battles from the front as the lower classes of their people didn't have the combat power to take on many angels, fallen or otherwise unless they used truly massive numbers to overwhelm them.

The Devils had a clear disadvantage in the Great War because of that fact. Killing a leader among their people not only removed an officer leading their soldiers but also usually eliminated their heavy hitter.

"Ahem." Zekram said as he stood, causing the room to turn their heads toward him.

"Lord Zekram of Clan Bael is recognized to speak!" Lord Lucifuge announced after getting a nod from the Lord Lucifer.

Zekram stood silently for a moment. Playing at the notion of formulating his words carefully. Minato had seen him do the same when meeting with other clan heads or giving lectures to his subordinates within the greater Bael dominion. It brought the audience in closer. Made his words weightier.

"My Lords Maou, may I ask why now it is that you seek to reopen conflict with our enemies? I have no doubt that all of us would see the likes of the angels, no matter the color of their wings, ended once and for all. If only for revenge for our founders and nothing else. However, why now? Why not when the enemy was initially recovering from their wounds like we were and still are?" Zekram asked.

The four satans shared an irritated glance before Lord Lucifer smiled down at Zekram with a childish look on his face.

"We hadn't considered it earlier is all. The Angels and Fallen haven't recovered from the war either. All the more reason to attack now don't you think?" Lucifer asked.

"Ah, perhaps you've received some sort of report from scouts telling you of the enemy's current strength?" Zekram asked with a false tinge of hope in his voice.

Lucifer frowned at that. Clearly he hadn't.

"Ah, a pity. With a scout or spy of some kind we could see how our enemies fare. Perhaps starting with the Fallen since if we eliminate them we could focus all of our attention against the true enemy." Zekram continued on, setting off a wave of mutterings among the gathered nobles, pillar, extra, and elite alike.

"What do you suggest then, Lord Bael? I leave the floor to you out of respect for one who was so close to my grandfather." Lucifer motioned for Zekram to continue with a plan.

Minato suppressed a grin. Just as his master no doubt desired. Zekram was the attention of the entire upper class of the underworld. It wasn't the satans formulating a plan, it was him. Furthermore it wouldn't be their peons doing anything to help their people but Minato and Zekram's other supporters.

Politics was all about appearance and political power was mostly the application of image in the best manner possible. Zekram looked like he was in charge and so the people of the underworld would start looking to him to lead them.

"Simply put my good lords, We must make ourselves aware of the status of our enemy. As I said earlier a focus on the Fallen angels who are closer and thereby easier to inspect would serve us better. A singular agent capable of slipping within their borders and slipping out again with the knowledge of what is hidden across the border is in order I believe." Zekram explained.

"Ah, and so you have someone already in mind then Lord Bael?" Lord Lucifuge and not his master Lord Lucifer asked.

"In fact I do. Allow me to formally introduce my most trusted subordinate and personal apprentice. Minato." Zekram waved the young man forward and Minato stepped up beside his master.

"Why him?" Caitos asked.

"Simple. He is naturally gifted at suppressing his demonic power and his presence as a whole. Not to mention the young man is brilliant, probably the sharpest of his generation." Zekram boasted.

A new wave of mutterings filtered through the audience of lords and ladies.

"Those are not especially impressive skills, Lord Bael. We all can suppress our power to an extent. In fact I believe that I know a young devil around his age that could do the same and is likely just as sharply minded too. If not more so." Caitos claimed.

"Hmm, let us see then. Minato release your suppression." Zekram ordered and Minato did as instructed, causing many of those present to widen their eyes in shock as the true extent of Minato's reserves became clearly apparent to them.

The Maou each seemed more amused than anything else, though Minato felt that their own reserves were inferior to his. From their point of view they likely believed that they had nothing to worry about in their positions of power.

"I see. This young man is an apt choice then." Lucifer himself commented.

Caitos looked like he had swallowed a lemon. However he quickly moved to Lucifer's side and whispered in his ear.

"Hmm, yes. Lord Lucifuge raises a good point. It is better to send a pair together so that we can ensure any information makes it back to us safely no matter the outcome of the mission. In that regard he has volunteered his own daughter, Grayfia to accompany your apprentice Lord Bael." Lucifer commented.

"Excellent thinking my Lord Maou. I'm sure together they will have no issue in accomplishing the task before them." Zekram easily agreed. It wasn;t exactly as the man had planned but it mattered little in the long run.

Minato had the task in hand either way.

Two days was all it took for preparation to be made. Minato and Grayfia met in a small forest clearing near the border of the Fallen Angel held section of the underworld and immediately set out through the woods while suppressing their power and resisting the urge to fly across the expansive distance that they would have to travel.

He admired the silver haired beauty once she joined him, but resisted the temptation of speaking of anything more than their mission. He doubted she recalled him at all from their short conversation nearly fifteen years prior. That being said, he recalled her quite easily and couldn't get over how much she had grown.

"You should focus on our surroundings. The staring is starting to bother me." She said to him causing him to blush slightly and chuckle as he turned his eyes away.

"Sorry it's just that you've grown quite a lot." Minato replied before mentally slapping himself for the comment. Why couldn't he just focus on the mission around her?

Grayfia turned her red eyes onto him and he could only just barely catch the hint of a smile on her lips.

"You've grown quite a lot from that little boy as well." She said softly before turning her attention to the forest around them once more.

Minato smiled at that. So he wasn't the only one that recalled their short meeting so long ago after all.

"Have you done things like this before?" Minato asked.

"No. I've been trained for it. Just like you seem to have been, but this is a first for me." She replied.

"Ah, same here then. So any ideas what we are supposed to be really looking for then? Besides soldiers and stockpiles of equipment and supplies of course." Minato asked, though in all honesty he had very exact information from his master.

Zekram had informed him of one of the larger forts near the border that the Fallen used. THey had all but abandoned it after the Great War due to their population issues. Many of such places had likewise been abandoned by the devils for the same reasons. He doubted there would be a change but they could have proof that the Fallen were not gearing up for an attack then.

Minato worried that would only embolden the Maou more so though.

"You are the one that is supposed to be leading us, however my father told me about an old fortress nearby that the Fallen Angels garrison. If they are building up their force it will be one of the first to receive new troops." Grayfia said.

"Ah, my master mentioned the same thing." Minato chuckled, causing the woman to look at him again.

"Then let's not waste any more time. There are some ridgelines nearby that could prove perfect for spying on them." Grayfia took the lead and Minato followed after her as they plucked their way through the dense forest.

Up on the ridge they both paused and slipped up to the edge of the rocky edge while staying low so as not to silhouette themselves for the soldiers at the fort to spot. Laying on the ground and crawling to the edge they could get a great vantage over the fort though.

Inside around forty Fallen milled about. The fort was surprisingly well maintained, and the black winged angels were all obviously more professional than Minato had expected to see, but being as the fort was of relatively high strategic importance due to it's position in the center of a valley near the border between Devil and Fallen territory it probably should have been.

"Less of them than I expected." He commented.

"I agree. Even strapped for man power in the legions as we are, the border forts are all fully manned." Grayfia explained.

Minato nodded. While the military of the underworld had suffered catastrophic losses during the Great War, the borders remained secured. While most devils were no longer a part of the army, the career soldiers were barely able to fully staff the defenses of the underworld held by the devils.

Thankfully if conflict did arise most devils had some level of combat training and ability in a fight. It wasn't near to the level of High Class devils of course but it was far better than nothing. Minato knew they would need it with his master's manipulations and plans steadily going into effect.

"We can't tell much about their readiness beyond troop numbers from up here." Grayfia commented.

"True but we need to remember that we have to stay hidden. If we move down to that hill there, we should be able to get a better view as well as- wait." Minato began to plan out a path for them to gain better sight on the enemy but paused as he noticed something on a cliff further up the valley.

"What is it?" Grayfia asked him while following his line of sight with her own eyes.

"That cave had over a dozen guards around it. What could be so important about a hole in the side of a mountain?" He asked more of himself than her.

"Something worth investigating. The question is how do we get close without revealing ourselves. The woods thin out considerably in that direction." Grayfia pointed out.

"They shouldn't, the river is…they don't actually look again, what do you see?" Minato encouraged her to look closer at the thinning forest.

Grayfia stared for a moment trying to focus her eyes on the incredibly distant spot. Slowly understanding dawned in her mind.

"It isn't naturally thinner there. They've logged nearly that entire half of the valley floor." She realized.

"What could they possibly need all of that timber for?" She wondered before turning her eyes back to the cave mouth.

"For support beams in a tunnel network." Minato said simply.

"They built a new fort. One that takes up an entire mountain of space. It's naturally shielded from most of our attacks that way too. As long as they figured out how to ventilate it properly they turned the mountain into a nearly unassailable fortress." Grayfia continued on.

"Exactly. We need to get closer to try and get an idea of the full extent of the construction, but if that much of the forest has been cleared…" Minato let the thought hang there, getting a nod from his partner.

Having to be especially cautious due to the teams of lumberjacks felling even more trees to be taken up the cliff to the cave's entryway, Minato and Grayfia were forced to take an especially long route circling around the valley floor.

With nightfall they scaled the mountain itself while trying to remain hidden among the shadows to the best of their ability. The closer they came to their objective though the more difficult it was to stay hidden.

"There's easily hundreds of them here. That's the fourth team of twenty workers that I've seen return since we started climbing and I haven't seen anyone come back out since the sun set." Minato pointed out.

"Any closer and we risk giving ourselves away." Grayfia suggested.

"Is this enough to report back with?" Minato asked a bit cautiously.

"I would think so." She said before her eyes widened causing Minato to yank his head back around to see what she did.

His eyes locked with the green of a Fallen Angel who had stepped away from his returning work party to relieve himself on the very stump Minato was hiding behind. The blond didn't hesitate after his eyes met the other man's. His years training under a veteran like Zekram had made his reaction instinctual and with a flicker of Demonic Energy he had severed the other man's head with his displacement field.

"We have to go, now!" Grayfia hissed as several heads among the fallen angels pivoted to stare at their hiding spot. Some had felt the sudden use of magic, others had simply heard the body of their comrade collapse and his blood splatter across the ground.

Minato and Grayfia both took to the air. They could fly far faster than run, but it didn't matter much. While they were no doubt stronger than even the entire worker party behind them was combined. In an instant the valley came to life. Shouts and warnings about devils in the air echoed throughout the region and more fallen angels than Minato was willing to try and count began pouring out of the mouth of the mountain.

A moment later and the sky was lit up with hundreds of spells trying to hit them with everything from spears of ice and stone to balls of fire and torrents of acid.

"Don't fly in a straight line, keep their aim broken!" Minato shouted.

"I know that already!" Grayfia shouted back, but even using evasive maneuvers could account for pure bad luck.

A lance made of steaming acid splattered across her side causing her to scream and drop sharply toward the ground as she folded in on herself from the sudden intense pain.

"Grayfia!" Minato hollered before opening up his displacement for her to fall through. He dove down and shot through it as well, followed by the heat of a ball of fire that raced after him. Luckily he managed to slam the field shut before the fire itself could pass through and hit both of them.

Unluckily Minato had miscalculated the placement of his field slightly, or rather the speed at which he had flown through it and found himself bowling over his mission partner and slamming head first into the dirt of the valley floor.

Grafia whimpered and did her best to bite back a scream from the added pain her acid burns were given from his sudden impact.

"Sorry, Sorry." Minato begged before moving over to try and help her up.

"I can walk, just…don't touch it." She cried out while instinctively shielding her injuries.

Even concealed by the way she was holding her body, Minato could tell that they were grievous wounds.

"We have to keep moving. I can only transport us to places I have been to or can see. Even then I'm still a bit limited by distances. We're nearer the border but not back in allied territory yet." Minato said.

"I can't go far like this." She admitted sourly.

"I can carry you-" Minato began.

"It would disturb my injuries. I need a place to hide and heal." Grayfia said.

Minato was silent as he scanned their surroundings. There was nothing but forest as far as he could see.

"There is an abandoned outpost nearby. That way." Grayfia said as she struggled to her feet.

"How do you know?" Minato asked.

"The reason we picked this area for the mission was because it was previously the holding of the Lucifuge clan. My father had the outpost constructed personally when he was our age." She explained before stumbling toward the direction she had pointed.

Minato moved up beside her.

"I can't carry you with those burns but you can lean on me still. It will help a bit." He offered.

She nodded before leaning heavily into his side. Their progress was even slower than when they were scaling the mountain earlier. However, before long they made it to the outpost Grayfia had mentioned.

It was nothing much to look at. Clearly having seen battle during the Great War the construct was mostly a ruin. It would do for now though. They moved into the building and settled into what had once been the quarters for the outpost's garrison. Minato eased Grayfia down into one of the old cots before stepping back to try and get a better look at her injuries.

"Those are going to permanently scar you if we don't get you healed up quickly." He said.

"Know any healing spells?" She asked hopefully.

"Probably the same ones that you do." He pointed out.

"I worried that would be your answer." She said.

Minato just began taking off his shirt rather than answer. He had to help Grayfia remove hers as well. He sighed as she covered herself with her arm and looked away from him.

"You are beautiful Grayfia, but I'm not going to attempt taking advantage of you." Minato said.

"Heh, most of my fellow elite clansmen wouldn't hesitate. I'm at your mercy Minato and some among the clans would consider it your right as payment for healing me." She replied harshly.

"I'm not those men."

"It isn't only the men who would take advantage either." She laughed sardonically before foreign herself to calm down as she felt him press his body in close to her own.

One of the most basic yet effective healing measures used in the underworld required skin to skin contact to be properly effective. Neither Minato nor Grayfia were very focused on healing in their studies but nearly every devil born was taught this method. Unfortunately it often led to other issues between those that used it as Devils sought recompense for even the smallest kindness.

Normally.

In the morning Grayfia found herself staring at her mission partner in interest. Just as he had promised, he hadn't taken any liberties with her at all. She'd noticed his interest in her form so she knew it had nothing to do with him not finding her attractive. Rather he was a man of his word, and honorable. Traits increasingly rare among their people.

She woke him up after she had dressed herself. The two of them had little difficulty slipping across the broad border back into devil held territory now that they were both back to their full strength.

Their report painted a grim picture but had hardly affected the interest of the Maou in invading their neighbor. At the least though, Grayfia had convinced her father to whisper wise words of patience to his master's ears.

For now.

That is a wrap. Not much happened here. I know some will be agitated with Minato and Grayfia running like they did. However they weren't supposed to engage the enemy at all. The plan was to observe and report. I cut it, but I had planned on showing some consequences of them killing that one Fallen Angel on the mountain. It would have led to Grayfia having to speak up on Minato's behalf alongside Zekram however it really wasn't going to mean much since it would just show the same interest Grayfia is already showing at the end I have written here.

Anyway all that being said I hope you enjoyed.

Till Next Time
