(Listening to "Harry Potter and the Sorcery Stone" audiobooks while I write. I know it's weird but it's great background sounds for me. Music doesn't seem to help my muse.)
Bill had his work to do as a Prefect that was okay with her. However when it came to them being in the Gryffindor common room. Bill would sit with her in the evening. Helping her when she needed it with her homework. She was a pretty good student, so she didn't need it often. Usually, Charlie was there with a friend while they sat near the fire. So far, they were only holding hands. There had yet to be a first kiss. She was still unsure how to handle this being bound to him. Though she felt more comfortable near him and at home. That was weird.
Bill was sweet, there were evenings when he gave her some flowers. That had her blushing she would admit she liked that. Reminded her of what her father would do for her mother. Tonight he had given her three tulips as she smirked and smelled them, setting them down. She had been smashing them in an old book she bought to let them dry. She said softly to Bill since there were others around. "Bill thanks for the flowers again." He smiled at her. Charlie smirked, but his best friend rolled his eyes.
Bill brought out his own homework. He sat close to her as she got her own book out to read through it. Charlie and his friend were on the other couch. There was a student in Bill's age on the other side of Bill. He helped him with his work as well. She leaned into Bill as she read. Bill reached down and rested a hand on hers squeezing as he winked at her. She laughed softly shaking her head. He was cool and laid back, but he watched out of her. She noticed he was already protective of her in some ways
Rowan squeezed his hand back. She was still scared to let people get close to her. She had lost her parents and even their assistant was a good friend. To their family and had taught her things as well. He had been a beater as well when he was in Hogwarts. He came to her games when he could with her parents. Then she had to switch schools in her third year. She wrote to her friends in America, but that was it. What if she got close to people here and had to lose them too? What happen if she let Bill in and got close to him? Then he died the same went with Charle. Though the Weasleys made it easy to be around them. Percy was a bit dedicated to being the perfect student it was kind of cute.
Charlie spoke up. "The row we have practiced in the morning. Its are our first game happening this weekend. I get nervous on the first one. Then after that, I don't get so. We're going against Slytherin first which, to be honest, I am glad we are getting that game done." Rowan looked up for a second she had heard about the Slytherin they are cheaters from what he understood. So her half to be more on her game with that. "I say we practice hard if we're going up against them." Charlie nodded.
That was when Bill spoke up. "Rowan I forgot to tell you that in two weeks. I was gonna ask you to be my date for my cousin's wedding. We have permission to leave the school for the weekend." She looked over softly and blushed this sounded like she was about to be thrown right in the middle of his whole family. She breathed out and said. "Sure I know your mom wouldn't be happy if I can't make it." She had got a letter from Molly Weasley making it clear that she was family. She couldn't wait till she graduated and married Bill.
Molly was a great woman. The pressure though to marry her son. They had only just found out two weeks ago that they were soul-bound. Though she would never tell the woman to stop. Molly was just wanting them happy and the best for his son. Also, the best for her, she wasn't just focused on her children. She seemed to care about others and was a big mother hen kind of person. Bill looked to her most of the others had gone to play games of chess with others.
Bill spoke up as he squeezed her hand and spoke. "Do you want me to ask my mom to relax around you?" She had her head on the back of the couch then rolled her head to look at Bill she chuckled softly. "I think I can get us to it she just wants the best for the both of us. I have got to know you and your two other brothers. She did a good job raising your boys. I will admit at the wedding I get to meet the three other brothers and your baby sister. I really want to meet them." The Weasleys are such curious people and funny.
After speaking, Bill leaned down and kissed her lips softly. He lifted back up with a blush on his cheek. He was smiling and she could feel her cheeks were warm. This was her first kiss. With Bill so it probably suits them since they were bound together she looked down. Then Bill spoke. "Then I will just make sure to watch my mother when she is with you. I am glad you like my family because my brothers like you. Percy is hard to read but I am sure he likes you. My parents love you." She snorted and then stood when it was time to go to bed. She kissed his cheek and then ran up to her dorm.
