Chapter Nineteen: Our Kind Of Love
Sonic opened his eyes after feeling Amy wrap her arms around him. They break the kiss. And with that, Sonic's fur turned back into cobalt blue, his eyes turned back to emerald green, and his quills pointed back downwards. He looked at Amy with shock, and tears in his eyes.
"Amy! You're alive! But, how is that possible?" Sonic thought.
"Our hearts. That's what kept me alive. The power of Daddy's trident resurrected me, because it deems you worthy of the power of it, and me and you are one another's true love." Amy smiled, with happy tears flowing in her eyes.
"Just shows we are made for one another after all." Sonic stated happily.
"Indeed we are." Amy agreed.
Amy felt something magic on her lower half, and she looks down, and sees that her tailfins were turning back into Mobian legs. She looks over towards Alfred, and sees that it was all his doing. He smiled warmly.
"Daddy!" Amy exclaimed happily.
She then ran towards Alfred, and hugged him dearly. He returned the hug. Angelica, Amanda, and Diana all joined for a family hug.
Sonic smiles watching this. He also turned to his parents, and he ran towards them, and hugged them also. Even Tails, Knuckles, Cream, and Tikal joined in.
"I'm just happy you're still alive, Amelia. You know where you belong. And whenever you want to come back and visit, let me know, and I'll change you back into a Merhog, whenever you want. Maybe even bring Sonic." Alfred smiled, happy tears in his eyes.
"I love you, Daddy." Amy cried happy tears.
Sonic then walked towards Alfred, and Alfred looked at Sonic.
"You've proven yourself worthy, Sonic. Promise me, that you'll always take care of her." Alfred smiled.
Sonic took a hold of one of Alfred's hand, and he smiled back.
"Count on it, Sir. I won't let anything happen to her. Not now, not then, not ever again." Sonic happily promised.
Sonic let's go Alfred's hand, and he looks at Amy in the eyes. He brought out a ring, and dropped to one knee.
"Princess Amelia Rose, would you do the honor of marrying me, and becoming my Queen?" Sonic asked.
"You didn't even need to ask. Put that ring on it, Sonic! Of course I will!" Amy teased, but happily at the same time.
And without hesitation, Sonic placed the ring on Amy's left hand, forth finger. And after that, they held one another close, and kissed one another's lips passionately. Everyone cheered in excitement for this. Jules made his way towards Alfred, and extended his hand out.
"And I guess Alfred can agree with me on this. There will be a wedding after all! And from this day on, Mobians and Merhogs are to be treated equally from here on out!" Jules announced, happily.
"I couldn't agree more!" Alfred happily agreed.
And with that, he shook Jules's hand, making it official.
"Well, what are we waiting for?! We've got a wedding to organise! I don't care how late it is, this is a special moment that can't wait. Maids, prepare Amy's dress, Sonic's suit, the wedding outfits are in the King's secret chest in his and the Queen's room. Do that, while me, Tails, Cream and Tikal will decorate the palace, so the wedding can take place on this beach!" Knuckles happily demanded.
"Too right!" Tails agreed.
"One step ahead of you!" Cream happily told them.
"You can count on me!" Tikal added.
Sonic and Amy smiled at the announcement, and they looked at one another, and kissed passionately again. And after that, Jules, Aleena, Alfred, Angelica and their daughters went back to their palace to give out the news about the wedding, while the maids, Tails, Knuckles, Cream and Tikal were decorating the palace, and the beach, and also helping Sonic fit into a suit, and Amy fitted into a dress.

After they've finished decorating the palace, and the beach, Tails passionately kissed Cream, and Knuckles passionately kissed Tikal. The maids have finished organising Sonic's suit, and Amy's dress. Now everyone goes to sleep, and waits for the next morning, for the wedding to start.
