ROOM OF REQUIREMENT - 00:46 AM
Hermione smiled from her sleeping bag in the corner. Pansy and Ginny sat in their own facing her.
"This is amazing, you guys! How did you manage to do this?" asked Hermione still in awe, and picking pillow feathers out of her hair. Pansy and Ginny glanced at each other.
"It took a presentation to all the teachers and lots...and lots of begging. But eventually, we struck down a deal," explained Ginny.
"We could have this sleepover if every girl in 5th year and up were invited, you know the teachers really love their house unity, and no teacher if the Head Girl and all the female prefects were here," continued Pansy, gesturing to a tall blonde girl making her way to them. Hermione stopped fiddling with her hair.
"Helen Dawlish is here? Why didn't you tell me?!" she fretted causing the two other girls to roll their eyes.
"Happy birthday Hermione!" the Ravenclaw herself said, "I hope you had a wonderful day!" she smiled at Hermione and continued making her way around the room.
Hermione had a starstruck look on her face, her eyes following Helen's steps, "She spoke to me," she turned to the girls, "She spoke to me!"
"You're acting like she's Celestina Warbeck," scoffed Pansy.
"That woman just doesn't age," mumbled Ginny.
"She's amazing! She's a star, sh-she's an inspiration to us all!" Hermione spluttered, "In my opinion, she's better than Celestina Warbeck.,"
Lavender laughed from where she was. She was surrounded by Parvarti, Cho Chang and Mariette Edgecombe and Morag Macdougal, "Of course, she thinks some head girl is better than the Celestina Warbeck,"
Hermione blushed, then sat straighter, "I said in my opinion, Lavender. You're entitled to your own and I'm entitled to mine,"
Lavender smirked at Hermione, stood up, her silky and barley their nightgown nearly exposing her and dramatically flourished her wand. She muttered a spell and her hair changed. It was the same as Hermione's hair, although it looked more like its first-year variant. Lavender smiled as she had the attention of the room and heard a few held back laughs.
She started to sing, music slowly filling everyone's ears "Look at me, I'm Sandra Dee,"
"Lousy with virginity,
Won't go to bed 'til I'm legally wed,
I can't, I'm Sandra Dee," she sang to the girls who were with her giggling loudly at Lavender's mocking movements. Hermione blushed. Pansy and Ginny narrowed their eyes.
"Watch it! Hey, I'm Doris Day,
I was not brought up that way,
Won't come across, even Rock Hudson lost,
His heart to Doris Day," Lavender continued.
Parvati, Morag and Mariette muttered the spell and the hairs changed to match Lavender's and they laughed louder than ever. Cho, however, looked back nervously at Hermione. Lavender sat down and beckoned the girls to follow her.
"I don't drink," Lavender said.
"No!" responded the three girls.
"Or swear"
"Eww!" the girls said mockingly.
"I get ill from one firewhiskey"
"Ah-ah-chem!" they faked coughed.
"Keep your filthy paws off my silky drawers!
Would you pull that crap with Annette?" Lavender ran up to a vanity that had been set up for them and climbed onto it.
"As for you, Troy Donahue
I know what you wanna do
You got your crust, I'm no object of lust
I'm just plain Sandra Dee" Lavender smirked as she made eye contact with Hermione's, enjoying the tears filling her eyes.
"Elvis, Elvis, let me be!
Keep that pelvis far from me
Just keep your cool, now you're starting to drool
Hey, fongool! I'm Sandra Dee"
"Lavender! 50 points from Gryffindor and Ravenclaw," barked Helen, receiving groans from those two houses.
Pansy and Ginny turned to Hermione who stared at Lavender's group, tears silently falling down her face. Ginny growled.
"Hermione, don't cry I'll go deal with them right now. Come on Pansy," the two girls stood up but were stopped by Hermione's voice.
"No," they turned to her, "There's no point,"
"But Hermio-,"
"I said no!" she whisper-yelled, her voice breaking, "There's no point nothing is going to happen we'll just get in trouble because that's what always happens. Now you two can stay up but I'm going to bed. Thank you for tonight," and with that Hermione hurriedly tucked herself in her sleeping bag, facing the wall and shut her eyes tight ignoring the tears falling down,
"Merlin," Lavender tutted, " Some people are so touchy,"
Don't worry, Mudblood...Go to Bed...We'll show these girls who you really are, a voice in Hermione's head.
5:24 AM
Ginny stirred as she felt something nudge her face. She blinked her eyes open only to see a Patronus. She smiled softly as she saw its shape. A stag.
"Harry!" she giggled. She stood up and looked around. Everyone had somehow not noticed the bright glow of the Patronus. The patronus began to lead her away.
After a short walk, Ginny found herself following the stag to the Quidditch pitch where the field lights were turned on. She smiled and thought to herself, must be another picnic date.
The stag began to fade and Harry came into view. She frowned as she noticed no picnic, but shrugged it off and ran over to her boyfriend.
"Hey Harry," she leaned in to kiss him but Harry turned his head to the side, Ginny's lips instead catching his cheek. She frowned again, panic growing in her, "Harry?"
"Ginny, we need to talk," The panic began to bloom even more.
"A-about what," she stuttered, trying to not let fear creep into her voice. This isn't happening.
"I... I don't know how to start this," Harry let his hands go through Ginny's newly white hair and sighed, "Letting you go is going to be one of the hardest things, I've done," Ginny pushed him away, angry tears already falling down her face.
"What are talking about?" Ginny cried out, rage filling her.
"Ginny, you're not the girl I started to date, you've changed,"
"Well, of course, I've changed! We're getting older!" Ginny shouted incredulously.
"It's not us getting older Ginny. You've been drinking a lot. Whenever there's an opportunity you just drink and drink and-"
"Oh, but when Seamus and the lot of them drink it's alright?!"
"They've been drinking since like 3rd year Ginny! You've just started now! Look you're going through a lot Ginny and I want to be there for you. And I'm breaking up with you because I don't think you need a boyfriend right now. You just need your friends. And admit it Ginny things haven't exactly been smooth with us recently. Think, Ginny. It's always so static and awkward when we talk, we go on dates just for show now! It's hurting us both,"
Ginny had turned and walked away from Harry while he was talking. She shook her head.
"And I am telling you I'm not going" She faced Harry who looked extremely uncomfortable that this was being turned into a singing matter.
"You're the best man I'll ever know
There's no way I can ever go
No, no, no, no way
No, no, no, no way
I'm living without you" Ginny shook her head as tears began to fall down her face again.
"I'm not living without you
I don't want to be free"
"This isn't you, Ginny," Harry said sadly.
"I'm staying, I'm staying
And you, and you, you're gonna love me
Oh, you're gonna love me" It's as if field lights shone brighter as Ginny sang, pouring her emotions out.
"And I am telling you I'm not going
Even though the rough times are showing
There's just no way, there's no way" She turned back to harry and began walking to him, tears still falling.
"We're part of the same place
We're part of the same time
We both share the same blood
We both have the same mind" she tried to hold Harry's hands but he let go sorrowfully and turned away from her.
"And time and time we have so much to share No, no, no,
No, no, no way
I'm not waking up tomorrow morning
And finding that there's nobody there" Ginny continued to sing at Harry's back, her voice calling for him to look at her.
"Darling, there's no way
No, no, no, no way
I'm living without you
I'm not living without you
You see, there's just no way
There's no way Please don't go away from me
Stay with me stay with me
Stay, stay and hold me
Stay, stay and hold me, Please stay and hold me, Mr Man
Try it, mister, try it mister
I know, I know, I know you can" Ginny grabbed Harry, holding his hands tight and kissed him. He kissed back for a second then broke it. He gave Ginny one last look and began walking away.
"Tear down the mountains
Yell, scream and shout
You can say what you want
I'm not walking out
Stop all the rivers
Push, strike, and kill
I'm not gonna leave you
There's no way I will" She continued to sing powerfully, her eyes filled will with grief as Harry left the Quidditch field.
"And I am telling you
I'm not going
You're the best man I'll ever know
There's no way I could ever, ever go
No, no, no, no way
No, no, no, no way I'm living without you
Oh, I'm not living without you,
Not living without you
I don't wanna be free
I'm staying, I'm staying
And you, and you, and you" Ginny began pointing at the empty seats in the field.
"You're gonna love me, You're gonna love me, yes you are
Ooh ooh love me, ooh ooh ooh love me
Love me, love me, love me, love meYou're gonna love me" Ginny let out, taking the opportunity to cry her heart out in an empty field. Her sobs rang out through the field.

I don't think I've updated this story in 3 years. Obviously, I'm older and looking back my writing is awful and to be honest it still is. But I have fun writing this story so I will try to continue. Please excuse my awful awful writing, I will really try to improve! I've also removed this story from the ' A Very Potter Musical ' tag. I was planning on using songs from it and making some of the personalities on this story reflect on the musical but as said I haven't updated in 3 years, and I think people were annoyed that I was using the tag.
Enjoy the story and thank you for your patience!
