Bofur didn't intend to start trouble when he set out for the Lonely Mountain in the company of Thorin Oakenshield. When Gandalf convinces her to join him on a quest, certain her knowledge of the world will be of great use, she finds herself on an unexpected journey with a bunch of rowdy dwarves. In the end, one of them just might be what she's been searching for all along.

Thorin Oakenshield and his Kin press onward, fighting to return Erebor to its former glory while trying to overcome the ghosts of their past. Female Bilbo/Dwalin soulmate au

Oropher and his son Thranduil came to Greenwood hoping to find a home among the Silvan elves, but Eithryn, a rather uncooperative she-elf, isn't sure she wants her people in the hands of the Sindar. Since locking her up somewhere might not go over well, the three of them must find some way to coexist.

Percy might have been dealt some right cards at the start, but life simply loved to cheat at poker, and this ridiculous situation was nothing but proof of that. Thorin shows up on Bilbo's doorstep and does not explain why he's there—he just goes about doing housework for Bilbo, staring at Bilbo, and frowning. Five times Bilbo doesn't ask why Thorin is in Bag End of all places, and one time he does.

Thorin never planned to take a wife. However, when his nephews show no interest in marriage, he reluctantly begins his search for a Queen. Surrounded by haughty women, an impatient Kingdom and the pressure of choosing the perfect bride, Thorin thinks his quest to kill that damned dragon may actually be easier than finding a wife.
