NERV HQ, confined in the Geofront
NERV was in a panic. Maya had detected a large radioactive or heat signature around 349 kilometers off the coast of Tokyo-III. They had thought the LCL-infected waters could not contain any sort of life.
The UN dispatched a trio of Arleigh Burke-class destroyers to delve into the depths of the unknown, yet only a solitary vessel emerged from the abyss. The eerie silence that engulfed the returning crew spoke volumes, for their lips were sealed tight. The ship's corridors bore witness to a macabre scene, with numerous crew members sprawled unconscious upon the vessel's fragmented remains, their lifeblood seeping into the unforgiving sea. The once formidable arsenal, now a mere memory, had been mercilessly torn asunder, while the scorching flames had etched their mark upon the ship's very soul.
"Well shit, I wonder what could've done this" said a NERV inspector sarcastically as he continued inspecting the huge damage to the ship.
"It looks like some sort of mutated megalodon that can survive in those waters could've done this, but they're long extinct. I mean, it could also be a group of mutated lizards, but those claw marks say otherwise." said another inspector as she inspected the burnt and decrepit naval guns.
"Maybe they ran into an encounter with another enemy ship, but these burns and claw marks say otherwise. I mean, what could've done this other than an angel?" He said with a smirk as he continued to inspect the burnt and decrepit ship.

327 kilometers off the coast of Tokyo-III
A rescue team was sent out to where the survivors told them to go. They found the other two destroyers ripped in half and beached on a small island, both of which were almost destroyed. The crew of the rescue team's eyes widened, and they instantly reported back to NERV HQ.
"This is Arctic Falcon to HQ; we've discovered the wreckage of both ships," he says with a terrified tone of voice.
Meanwhile, at Misato's apartment….
Misato was sitting in the lounge watching the news, it was something about a 13 year old boy killing himself after he didn't get candy, which made Misato sad. A few tears streamed down her face, she didn't like how the world was now. She took a sip from her beer can and switched the channel to a boring sitcom, but she liked it. Asuka walked past and shrugged, she then went to bully Shinji.
"Hey idiot Shinji, how bout' you go touch grass instead of sitting in your room all day watching videos of Misato when she was in college on the beach in a bikini you sick pervert"
"H-hey! It's not my fault I like Misato's boobs- okay... yeah... maybe I am a pervert." he sighs as he wipes a tear from his face.
"Anta baka! You are truly a dumbass, maybe go touch her boobs instead of looking at them online you stupid boy whore!" she slaps Shinji incredibly hard across the face, he hits his bed hard. He whimpers.
"H-hey! What was that for Asuka!?" he screamed! Asuka shrugged and slapped him again.
"For being a dumbass and not being a go getter and trying to touch her boobs!" this time, she slapped him so hard that his nose started bleeding, he quickly grabbed a tissue and plugged it.
"Anta Baka! You're crying after this? You wimp!" She walked off, annoyed.
Meanwhile, back in the lounge. Misato was looking at twitter/X but then she got a ping from her messages, she opened them.
Misato was getting a call from Ritsuko; it seemed urgent, so she answered. "What do you need, Rits?" She said it with a calm voice.
Ritsuko responded with a panicked state of mind. "Misato, you need to get to HQ now!" she yelled into the phone.
Misato responded in a state of shock. "Why…?"
"Just hurry up and get here; bring the pilots; it's urgent!"
"Okay, okay, I will, just calm down."
Shinji walks into the room, looking a bit concerned. Asuka walks out soon after, with a smug look on her face. Shinji finally speaks up, "Misato-san..."
"Yes, Shinji?" The purple-haired woman said it with a forced smile.
"Why are we going to HQ?" the young teen said, looking concerned.
"I don't know; you'll have to ask Ritsuko when we get there." The purple-haired woman replied with a smug grin.
Asuka looked up at Misato and groaned, "Can you hurry up and get us to HQ already, you old whore?"
Misato's face turned pale as she heard the red head say that. She bottled up her emotions and breathed. "Yes, but never call me that ever again!" she yelled angrily.
"Guys, can you stop fighting?" Shinji said it with a sheepish smile.
Misato grabbed her keys and walked out of the apartment and down the stairs rather fast. She was breathing heavily, and she put sunglasses over her eyes so nobody could see her tears. Asuka had actually hurt the older woman mentally.
Misato stepped into her car, started it up, and waited for the pilots to get in. Asuka quickly got in the passenger seat in an annoying manner, which enraged Misato more; she was surely going to get a berating after they got back to the apartment. Shinji sat quietly in the backseat, read his manga, and sipped some hot tea he had made earlier.
Misato quickly accelerated and drove through Tokyo-III. Suddenly, Misato made a quick swerve around a sharp turn, making poor Shinji spill hot tea all over himself.
"You stupid dumbass!" Exclaimed the enthusiast, Asuka.

NERV HQ
Misato, Asuka, and Shinji entered NERV HQ and headed straight for the command center down in central dogma. As soon as Misato scrambled into the room, she saw Ritsuko panicking alongside many others at NERV.
"Alright, what the fuck is happening?" the purple-haired major yelled.
The entire room went silent. Ritsuko walked up to the confused major and started speaking nervously.
"Major, we've detected a huge radioactive/heat signature off the coast of Tokyo-III, approximately 349 kilometers out." "
Is it... another angel?" said the now horrified major.
The entire room became silent again. One scientist walked forward quickly and said,
"Major Katsuragi, it isn't an angel."
The major's eyes widened in terror, and the room was filled with terror.
"Then what's out there, then?" Misato asked nervously.
"Something… big. That's all we know." The blonde said it with a terrified expression.
Asuka walked forward with a smug look on her face.
"I want to go out and fight it! Idiot Shinji over here wouldn't want to go out; he's too much of a wimp!" she exclaimed with a selfish grin on her face. It grows as she continues.
"You stupid baka! you can't even pilot an EVA because you're too much of a wimp!" she yells annoyingly.
"Asuka, you're staying here until we can send out more search teams." said the blonde
Asuka pouts and crosses her arms; her face is filled with rage. "But I want to go out and fight myself!" She said she was enraged.
Misato looked over at the hot head with concern, her face gloomy and sad, remembering the second impact.

The Katsuragi Expedition, Antarctica
Misato was sitting in her quarters, playing on the Nintendo she had brought with her, when her father burst in.
"My little angel, we need to get to an escape pod right now!" exclaimed Dr. Katsuragi, terrified.
"But why, dad?" asked Misato, 14 years old. Before Misato could finish her sentence, her father threw her on his shoulders and fled for his life. As the doctor made his way through the facility and out into the harsh Antarctic conditions, he noticed a safety pod.
He gave Misato his cross necklace before placing her in the pod and closing it. The area was then engulfed by a shockwave, the ice disintegrated into LCL, and all organisms not in a safety pod were transformed into pure LCL, and water would be forever contaminated and unlivable.
The young teen's heart pounded in her chest as she witnessed a chilling spectacle. Emerging from the fiery depths below, transparent, glowing white skeletal wings unfurled, casting an otherworldly glow. As her pod drifted over the sea of red, the souls of the expedition team floated aimlessly in the air, their presence hauntingly ethereal. Looking up at the crimson sky, the young Misato's eyes welled with tears. Amidst the swirling ashes, she clung tightly to her teddy bear, a precious memento from her father. In this desolate moment, she sought solace in the embrace of her childhood companion.

Geofront, NERV HQ
A few tears fall from the majors face, she ran up to Ritsuko and told her this.
"Just hurry the fuck up... and get the pilots out there... fast..." She said holding back tears from her trauma. She swayed her purple hair to the side, she grabbed her phone but...
She suddenly broke down crying; something about what was happening now was reminding her of that fateful day. She fell to her knees and curled up into a ball. She let out all her emotions in the middle of Central Dogma, NERV HQ.
The entire room went silent, except for a few gasps and groans. Asuka and Shinji's eyes widened in pure shock; they had never seen their guardian like this.
Ritsuko and the bridge bunnies backed away, leaving Misato to herself. The only person she needed was Kaji. And lucky for her, the man she once loved, and maybe even still does, was right there. Don't call me that. "We're not dating anymore," she says, still sobbing on the ground.
Kaji decides to pick up the crying Major. Holding her in his arms, he walks off, heading to the parking lot.
"Hey! Where are you taking her, you old baka?" yelled the hot-headed red head. She chased after the teasing bastard.
"Somewhere where she'll feel better, now fuck off," said Kaji in an annoyed tone. Asuka's confidence is shattered; she had never heard Kaji be like that. Her mind was in spirals.

324 Kilometers off the coast of Japan.
The Seventh U.S. fleet, led by a NERV research team, ventured across the LCL-infected waters. Gendo and Fuyutsuki were a part of this research time after Gendo's desire to see if they could find the remains of Yui's old convertible, which was aboard a cargo vessel, but the ship mysteriously disappeared into the depths. The fleet glided across the contaminated Pacific until something bigger than an aircraft carrier was detected 3 kilometers out.
On the deck, Gendo and Fuyutsuki requested to get closer to whatever they detected on radar.
"Get us closer to the area; it could be an angel." Said Gendo in an authoritative tone. He grabbed his phone and dialed a number. If the person he was calling didn't answer, they would usually pick up. His face turned to rage.
"Kaji, that son of a gun!" he screamed. As an F/A-18 super hornet launched from a catapult, the crew watched as Gendo stomped the deck in his rage.
"Sir, you should probably calm down," says the slightly annoyed Fuyutsuki. Suddenly, a scientist ran up to the two men with a concerned look on his face.
"We've detected high levels of n-nuclear radiation 3 kilometers ahead, and it's rising as we speak." The NERV scientist said she was terrified. Suddenly, a huge tremor was felt across the entire fleet.
"What the fuck was that?" yelled many members of the crew, and suddenly, four naval fighter jets just fell out of the sky. Something was interfering with their control.
"I'm detecting high levels of nuclear radiation 1000 meters down and 2 kilometers ahead! And it's growing rapidly!" Another scientist yelled.
The tranquil surface of the blood-red waters shattered as a deadly blue beam erupted, pulsating with the destructive might of concentrated nuclear radiation. With deadly precision, it targeted the frigate, unleashing its wrath upon the vessel and tearing it asunder. The surviving fragments of the ship were now engulfed in an otherworldly blue conflagration, as they descended into the watery abyss, forever entwined in a haunting tale of destruction and despair.
On the bridge...
"By the gods!" bellowed the admiral. The frigate was now nothing but a fiery inferno, and the captain frantically checked the radar. The blip they had detected earlier was rapidly closing in on their fleet. Suddenly, massive dorsal plates resembling jagged maple leaves began to breach the surface of the LCL-infested waters. As the creature continued to rise, its dorsal plates grew larger and longer, revealing a monstrous reptilian form that dwarfed even an aircraft carrier. The captain and admiral gazed in awe and terror as hundreds of sea birds took flight, fleeing from the approaching behemoth.
"Drop depth charges!" the admiral yelled. He wanted that creature to fully surface so he could see what it was. Suddenly, Gendo and Fuyutsuki rushed onto the deck, both looking confused and scared. They had thought it was just another angel, but no, that was no angel.
"That's no angel; it can't be….. No… " Gendo said with a deep hint of fear in his voice.
The warships in close proximity unleashed a barrage of depth charges, causing the monstrous creature to emerge from the depths. As it breached the surface, colossal waves crashed against the ships, threatening to capsize them. After more than four decades of secrecy, the creature finally unveiled itself to the world. Standing over 100 meters tall and stretching approximately 169 meters in length, its presence was truly awe-inspiring. Its dorsal fins, resembling sharp thorns, loomed large and menacing. Its rough, bumpy, and dark grey/brown skin exuded an air of ancient power. With teeth like razor-sharp daggers, tightly packed and poised to tear through anything in its path, it was a fearsome sight to behold. Its tail, both mighty and elongated, possessed an unmistakable strength. The creature appeared robust and formidable, causing many to hastily abandon ship. Its narrow and jagged snout added to its menacing visage. Suddenly, with a swift motion of its powerful tail, it obliterated three destroyers, engulfing them in a fiery inferno. In the midst of chaos, Gendo urgently commanded Fuyutsuki to prepare a helicopter for immediate escape. The mighty beast let out a-
SKREEEEOOONKKKKKK
In a horrifying instant, the glass on every ship shattered, unleashing a deafening screech that echoed through the air. The brave men aboard the USS Ronald Reagan clutched their ears in agony as the colossal kaiju let out a thunderous roar. As the shards of glass rained down upon them, the captain was struck in the forehead, the sharp fragments piercing his skull and ending his life in a gruesome spectacle of blood. Paramedics rushed to the scene, but their efforts were in vain, for time had betrayed them. Meanwhile, the monstrous dinosaur-like creature swatted jets from the sky effortlessly, treating them like mere pests. Its radioactive aura disrupted the controls of both ships and planes, leaving them helpless against its wrath. Desperate, the naval guns fired relentlessly, but their futile attempts were no match for the beast's relentless onslaught.
That's all from me today, chapter 2 will be coming soon, don't worry! I had a lot of fun writing this first chapter, I was motivated to write this because my friend started writing a book, so this is me fighting back on a fanfic website I guess, and again, please leave your feedback down in the comments.
