John stands in front of me . He is one of lieutenant for Alexander . We are now arriving in dauntless in Detroit where I have been living for most of my childhood . He looks at me with eyes wide
"Yes it is me . John you changed a lot." I am really worried about him
Someone grabs my hand tight. I tilt my head . He has light skin but no hair . He has brownish eyebrows and eyes and his beard around his chin is brown too. He has tattoos on his neck and his hands . He is a dauntless leader——- Alan Davis
"Yeah I look much older right? Thank you for that." He shakes his head ."We have all missed you so much."
"I am sorry John . How is Alexander and everyone else ." I sigh.
"They are good but Jason changed drastically after you left Violet. You can't blame him because you are the one who left him with those monsters ." John clinches his fist.
My heart pound at the mention of Jason walker . He was my best initiate and he had crush on me . I was promising that I will never leave him but I back off my promise .
John leads us to the pit and pile in the elevator
"So why don't you introduce me to your friends?" John raises an eyebrow at Alan
"This is my husband soon to be Alan Davis . New mafia boss of dauntless and these are my two sisters tris， Maria and brother in law : Sam and four . This is my brother Caleb." I nearly choke on his name ."This is cara and Christina . This one is Uriah and Peter ."
"I am lieutenant here John wick." John smirks at them."Violet was the instructor and ambassador here ."
I don't know am I still the ambassador or anyone replaced it.
"Did anyone took my job?" I say
"Someone wanted but Alexander didn't allow . He believed that you are still alive somewhere ." John shrugs ."Which means he is right."
The elevator comes to a ding at 8th floor . When we walk out of the room， a man with so many tattoos come out of an office . Jason walker?
"Jason， here is someone I want you to see ." John sighs ."You can't believe that someone is alive."
Jason walker comes near us and his eyes are on me . I don't think that he still remembers me
"Am I being drunk again? Huh? Violet? No she is dead . She gives up on her promise . She is gone." Jason is crying.
"Jason， I am here . I am sorry. I can explain everything to you." I am crying."I just can't tell you when I wasn't allowed."
"No， you are not her . She is gone." Jason opens a bottle and tips the whole entire one into his mouth and stumble away
I don't know when he started to drink . John grits his teeth.
"You don't have a reason to blame him. If our parent are dead and they come back so suddenly， what is your feeling! You came back home when you were 15 sister. You barely even knew us." Maria exclaims ."You need to give him sometime to adjust ."
"Alright， let go see Alexander now ." John beckons to us
We walk toward Alexander's office . When John opens the door， Alexander is sleeping. He opens his eyes .
"What fuck are you doing here John! I am fucking sleep now ." Alexander yells at John."Oh Violet? You are back)"
He comes to me and wraps me into his arm. He doesn't even see Alan and my friends .
"I miss you so much." Alexander is sobbing."You brought friends."
"Ummmm not all of them are my friends but also my family members . This is my husband soon to be Alan Davis . Our new mafia boss since max was executed ." I shrug."This is the mafia boss here Alexander Pushkin."
"Nice to meet you mr Davis ." Alexander smirks ."Very soon I will call you ms Davis ."
I laugh a little . We sit down beside his table . His fingers are tapping the table
"Did you see Jason?" Alexander looks sad ."He was changing. I am sorry Violet. No one could change him back except you. He experienced a lot while he was a child and you were the only one who healed him and then you left，"
"I understand but did you ever tell him the truth?" I arch my eyebrows.
"I was looking for a right time . However I didn't know how . Erudite are still watching him Violet." Alexander says ."Why are you guys here ?"
We are looking for a new army. I don't know how to say it.
"We need new army." Tris bursts out.
"New army?" Alexander smiles ."Who are you."
"She is my sister tris ." I say."We need to take what belonged to us from Evelyn."
Alexander's eyes are on four . Does he knows four?
"Tobias Eaton? Evelyn Johnson is your mom!" Alexander folds his arms in front of his chest
"How do you know?" Four is tensed
"We saw you guys in the bureau. Violet do you really think how jeanine matthew didn't find out your 300 percent divergence?" Alexander says
In Chicago， tris was 100 percent so she is the major target. However in Detroit， I am 300 percent. I can even fight the memory or the death serum if I choose to.
"I made an agreement with the bureau. I will send some of my people to work for them in order for them to manipulate your divergence." Alexander is playing with his ring on his lips.
"How many people did you give to them." I stand up."They are liar Alex. I told you that you should not care about me Alex!"
I am yelling at him. They are my people as well.
"Violet because you are my friends and I can't let you die there! Do you think who saved you from the execution the first time? Your husband soon to be was under simulation. Your mother was saving your sisters . Who saved you?" Alexander says .
I look at him. Did he or Jason? Jason is impossible .
"I didn't know . I woke up with my sisters and my friends in……" I am having a headache
"So you saved Violet?" Alan coughs
"Yes I did . I injected her with memory serum to forget about seeing me . I couldn't reveal myself ." Alexander drinks his tea
My tears come out. He was there for me when I nearly dead
"We need help Alex." I say
"I can give it to you. One more question，are you coming back ever?" Alexander is quiet.
"No I am not. I will stay in Chicago with my husband . I am pregnant now ."my hand is on my stomach
Alan and all other people are staring at me . I smile a little
"Yeah I am pregnant now ." I shrug."I am sorry that I do want to tell you when it is your birthday."
I kiss Alan's cheek. Alan wraps his arm around my waist.
"Am I going to be a father?" Alan is crying.
"Yes you are . The baby is health." I laugh."You don't need to worry about me ."
"So you better stay here and protect yourself . I and your husband will lead the team. We don't need girls . We need men." Alexander stands up."I will help as much as I can."
Alan stretches out his hand and Alexander shakes it.
After having dinner , I sit above the chasm. I hear the roar of the water . Someone is walking behind me and sit down beside me . Alan is sitting right beside me .
"Violet, I know that you are sad but tris was right. You didn't leave him anything. Putting jealousy aside , only as an instructor , I think that you should understand him." Alan puts his hand on my shoulder. "He needs time to adjust to that."
"I know but I don't know will he ever forgave me ." I shake my head
"He will if he is a reasonable human being." Alan sighs
I nod at him. I rest my head on his shoulder .
"Can I please talk to Violet?" Someone is talking
Alan and I stand up and turn around . Jason is standing there
"Yeah sure , please be away from the chasm as far as possible ." Alan says
We walk back to my office . The office is still empty like no one has been using it. I sit down
"Yes Jason?" I say
"I understand why did you leave . You were protecting me ?" Jason's eyes are red
"Yeah I was and I am still protecting you" I sigh
Jason is quiet for a moment. I don't know what he is thinking.
"I always feel that I am a coward because I was living under your wing. I am sorry Violet. I am trying to accept that you are still alive . Alex told me that you will leave and go back to Chicago?" Jason says
"Yeah I am going to be a mom and wife ." I say happily.
"Can I go with you guys? I don't want to stay here ." Jason shakes his head
I know why he doesn't want to stay here because of his father
"You know four ? My brother in law was exactly like you. His father was abusive and his mother faked her death. He reminds me of you . Jason I want you to take my position because I only trust you. You are only safe here ."I say
After the talk, we leave the room together . Everyone are waiting for me
"Everything good?" Alan touches my cheek
"Yeah we have talked about everything." I giggle
"Okay, let just go for it." Sam claps his hand . "Maria is eighth month now . I can't let her stay there ."
I know maria is going to give birth soon .
"She can stay with me Sam. I will take care of her ." I giggle . "Tris can stay with me too."
