Author's Note: Whooo Christmas One-shot time, although this might be the only one that I do this year. But please do leave requests, I might get inspired. So this was a request from Klay several years back. Like 5 years ago.. Oops. I struggled with the idea of doing a wedding for these two so instead I have them attending a wedding. This one-shot has actually inspired an entire story that will act as a prequel. Chapter 1 and 2 are in progress now so hopefully will have the first chapter up pretty soon. It will be called 'Out of the Spotlight'. I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! I'll see you soon hopefully with more goodies!

No One's POV
Wedding
'You are cordially invited to the wedding of Charlotte Flair and Andrade Cien Almas. Date: December 25, 2022. Location: Nassau, Bahamas' Becky Lynch shook her head in disbelief at the reflection staring back at her. She loved her best friend so much but the oranged haired lass despised wearing this white dress. Truth be told, she really wanted to wear a tuxedo but Charlotte's father had to be an asshat and provide a stricter dress code with this wedding. Women were only suppose to wear dresses, Becky fought back a scoff and rolled her eyes. If Ric wasn't her bestie's father, she would have told him to shove it where the sun don't shine. The bridesmaids and the maid of honor were going to be wearing matching white dresses while all the groomsmen were matching tuxedos. Standing around in this monstrosity for a few hours isn't so bad considering that Becky didn't have to pay a dime for the trip. Charlotte paid for the entire thing and even covered the costs for her to bring a plus one. The maid of honor gave one last look in the mirror, making sure her makeup and her hair were on point. Becky still wasn't fond of this look but she would survive a few hours.
"Hey Becks, can you zip me up? The zippers stuck." Speaking of Becky's plus one, the choice was obvious to her who would accompany her on this trip. A woman that captivated her at first glance about three years ago at Club Platinum in Vegas. All she wanted was to get out of her Mom's house for a bit and forget her family's stupidity. A young lady that had to constantly hide who she truly was inside, a couple drinks sounded great to her. Becky's always been attracted to women but only her closest friends and select others knew that. Not even a couple shots in, a woman sat next to her and from that moment on.. this felt like one massive dream. Her name is Daisy Mero, a tall brunette that had a stellar career as a model. That's how the world sees it but Daisy feels the opposite. She hated being a model, she hated all the unwanted attention and cameras on her. All she wanted was fucking privacy. What the model craved was a normal life.
Becky walked over, looking at the brunette's reflection in the mirror as she approached. Still curious to this day how she managed to bag someone as gorgeous as Daisy. Despite being a wealthy model and the daughter of the actress, Rena Mero, her girlfriend didn't act all snobby and stuck up. In fact, she was sassy, vulgar and sarcastic and wasn't afraid to speak her mind. It was the very first thing that hypnotized her aside from her beauty. The brunette watched as her lover placed her hand on her lower back and the other hand clasped the zipper. After a couple tugs, Becky managed to get the zip all the way up with a small hiss from Daisy. "Ow a little rough there, Lass. Is someone still jealous that I could pick out my dress?"
"Aye, bitch. Stop rubbing that in." The amount of times her girlfriend had teased her with that question, there wasn't enough fingers on her hands to count. Daisy snickered, giving her hair one final look over. The model stood up and faced Becky, giving a small twirl of satin gown to get her lover's opinion. Becky didn't understand how a woman could have such endless beauty but everytime, she's been blown away. Red was definitely Daisy's color. The model was wearing a strapless, high-low red satin gown and black stiletto heels. It allowed the brunette to show off her curves and toned body. Sadly for her reputation, she couldn't wear a more normal outfit but she was okay knowing that Becky was standing in front of her practically drooling. Rebecca inched herself closer, wrapping her arms around her lover's waist. The lack of intimacy while present here was going to drive them both insane. The Lass cursed slightly under her breath at the height difference, she leaned over and whispered in the brunette's ears "You are lucky that I can't lock this door, I'd prefer you out of the dress to be honest."
The brunette shivered in arousal at the husky tone her girlfriend used, her finger hooked around the white shoulder strap of Becky's dress. The model smirked, pulling it down slowly to her forearm. "Oh? I will gladly rip you out of that dress later. I'd do it now but we already know that you wouldn't keep quiet." She teased, knowing how loud the shorter woman could get during sex. Teasing her lover now means more pent up aggression for the hotel room tonight. "Tá grá agam duit (I love you), Rebecca. You look absolutely stunning." She spoke sweetly, giving the orange haired Lass a small peck on the lips. That small peck turned into more kisses which started to escalate into a full make out session.
Becky gasped, breaking the lippock and spoke. "Tá grá agam duitse freisin (I love you too). Mo ghrá (My love), we need to behave ourselves. This is Charlotte's big day.." Daisy let out a small huff with a childish pout, crossing her arms underneath her chest.
"Ugh I know but I am going to go insane not being able to hold your hand, or kiss you, fuck I don't even think we will be able to dance together."
"Sonuva bitch. I didn't think about that-" It's true, Becky didn't think about what they could not do at the ceremony without risking a whole family breakdown from both girls. Why did their parents have to be this way? Why wouldn't they be able to accept them for who they truly are. The door opened, initially stunning the couple afraid that someone overheard them talking earlier. That was until the person appeared in the doorway allowing them a sigh or relief, they could now stare in awe at the woman in the doorway. The GaliaLahav wedding dress really gave Charlotte a regal feel. She looked like a true queen. "Woah Char, you look amazing!"
Charlotte smiled wide, walking over to both the girls and pulled them both into a hug. "Aw thank you Becky, you both are looking beautiful too!" She separated from the ladies, taking a second to look at their beautiful attire for the wedding. "I can't believe this is finally happening, I am so nervous." The blonde confessed, trying her best to remain composed.
"We know, it's only natural.. We are all here to support you." It was Daisy's turn to speak, gently grabbing Char's hand to soothe her in any way possible. The pair didn't meet officially until a little while after Rebecca and her started dating. They knew of each other through both of their wealthy families and their career paths. The model's mother and herself had worked on several projects with Ric Flair in the past. Now they are pretty close friends, of course, any friends of her girlfriend would be friends of hers.
"I know and I can't thank you both enough. It's almost time. Becks, you will have to get out there soon, I have to make sure everything is good to go." Both women looked at each other and nodded, Daisy wasn't a bridesmaid so she would have to sit in the audience while Becky stood up front with the others. Without saying another word both of them gave each other a small peck on the lips causing Charlotte to playfully gag behind them. The couple in sync narrowed their eyes at her and rolled them.
While the guests and family were flooding the wedding chapel, the brunette took her seat at her assigned spot. Her mind wandered as the ceremony started, her eyes darted between the beautiful bride and her absolutely stunning girlfriend. The butterflies in her stomach that formed listening to the couple read their vows to one another. Daisy wondered if she'd feel the same if that were her and Becky up there. The brunette fought back a chuckle, weddings were always so corny to the would be bittersweet if they decided to actually have one. Both families were against same sex relationships for a combination of reasons. For the Irish Lass, it was strictly due to her family's religious beliefs. For the brunette model, the reason is because it would interfere with Rena's precious plans. Daisy's mother had predetermined the brunette's life from an early age. Being plastered in magazines and competing in beauty pageants were always a thing, all of this planning to make the brunette absolutely miserable. Daisy had tried numerous times to voice her discomfort but Rena never cared. It was to keep the Mero family with a prestigious reputation. The talk of marriage was a common topic for the mother and daughter duo to discuss. Rena wanted her to marry the Orton's youngest son, Randy however Daisy would dance around the topic; fighting the urge to scream out she only wanted Rebecca.
The ceremony ended and the reception followed, the couple were able to stay by each other's side after what seemed like an eternity apart. Becky and Daisy watched with wide smiles as Charlotte and her new husband, Andrade, danced together. The love radiating off of them and the pure happiness on their faces showed that wearing these stupid dresses was worth it. A light bulb went off in Rebecca's head as she watched the now married couple. She looked over to the outside area, the chapel was right next to the beach. The sun was already descending down toward the reception was going to last a few more hours and the orange haired Lass knew that they could slip away now. She reached down and laced their hands together for the moment. It was enough to attract Daisy's attention to her. With her attention fully on her girlfriend, Becky motioned for the model to follow behind her. She obliged with curiosity as the shorter woman led them outside. Now out of view from the nosey guests inside, Rebecca took off her heels and grabbed her lover's hand. Walking on sand with heels would be an absolute disaster and Daisy knew that all too well so she took off her heels too. "Where are you dragging me away to Becks?"
"Patience, Mo ghrá (My love)." She cooed sweetly, knowing that it wasn't her lover's strong suit. The couple walked along the shoreline for a few minutes, the chapel was barely in sight. Now Becky's plan could safely be put into action, there were a few things on her list to achieve here but the first, she knew would mean a lot to the brunette. Rebecca set her high heels in the sand and the model did the same. Daisy was still pretty confused, the only lighting around was the natural light of the sunset on the horizon. It was one of the most beautiful sights she ever laid eyes on. What were they doing all the way out here? "Here we are. Now I believe you owe me a dance and this way, no one can interrupt or see us this far away from the chapel."
Daisy stared at the orange haired woman, she parted her lips to speak but yet nothing left her lips. Hands stayed laced together while Becky's free hand reached into her lover's purse, grabbing her phone in the process. There was a certain song that Becky wanted to dance to and it was one that made her think of her relationship every time it came on the radio. Setting the model's purse onto the sand and setting the phone on top with the song starting. Daisy smiled, taking her girlfriend's other hand and the pair started to dance. No eyes were there to witness the dance but the pair danced in sync like they were on the center stage. Perfect by Ed Sheeran was literally the song for them. And how two women from completely different ways of life came together and created something so beautiful. The song ended and the pair stared longingly at each other, savoring the perfect moment. Neither one of them wanted it to end, they knew that the couple's disappearance would be noticed soon. Lips connected in a heartwarming and sensual kiss, Daisy broke to kiss and pressed her forehead against Becky's. "Tá grá agam duit. (I love you)"
"I've been thinking-"
"Oh really? Well that's new.." The words left her mouth almost effortlessly as Rebecca couldn't help but narrow her eyes at her girlfriend. Out of all the times to joke about something. Who is she kidding? Becky would have done the exact same thing. "Kidding kidding.."
Becky let out a small sigh, "I am so fucking tired of having to hide us. I love you and I don't give a fuck about what our families think. Stupid cunts.."
"Such a romantic way of talking..." The model chuckled, realizing how the tone of their conversation keeps shifting. It's how they always were, and nothing was going to change that. The pair had many conversations about their families and how they could try to make a happy scenario for both sides. It wasn't possible. Both would be stuck in their ways forever. "I do feel the same."
"Let's start over."
Daisy paused at the three words and she'd be lying if her heart didn't stop for a split second. She was completely taken back and confused about what this all meant. Her mind raced through several scenarios and fear arose that this was the start of a breakup. The brunette didn't psychically over react but instead asked hesitantly. "..What do you mean by that?"
Sensing her girlfriend tensing up, Becky gently grabbed a hold of Daisy's hands. "Cedes gave me a brilliant idea and for once, I am glad she did." The brunette arched her brow at the mention of her friend. She really likes Mercedes energy, it's been over ten months since they have seen her in person since Cedes got that amazing offer up in the NorthEast. They do video chat on a semi-regular basis. "Well I've been talking to her for a couple weeks, her and Trin agreed that we can crash up at their place for a bit in Boston. Run away with me. No stupid homophobic families, just the two of us living normal lives and no longer having to hide who we truly are."
"I'd love that. From now on, I will be able to choose what kind of person Daisy Mero is suppose to be. College wasn't an option before but it is now. I'll actually be able to work a normal job and find something that I am super passionate about. I'd be able to rent a place and live with you, Mo ghrá (My love)."
Becky loved hearing the pure excitement in Daisy's voice, she's so ecstatic to be able to make her own choices in life now. The shorter woman couldn't imagine having someone dictating her life like that. Rena was truly a piece of work, she had the unfortunate pleasure meeting her. Speaking of that bitch.. "That's our dream, and I figured that your pesky mother can't marry you off if you already have someone else's last name."
Those last eight words took several seconds to process in the model's mind. Once she finally registered what her lover had said, her pace slowed to a complete stop. Her eyes widened as Becky turned back to look at her girlfriend. "Wait.. Rebecca.. Did I hear that right?"
It's now or never, she can't take back her words now. Becky let out a shaky breath and responded to the brunette's question. This had been circling around Rebecca's mind for some time now. Her job doesn't make enough money to buy the diamond ring that Daisy deserves. One thing after another put a damper on the ring funds. "I don't have any flashy ring and I know that we don't want to do a wedding but I do want you to be my forever. What do you say? Wanna elope once we get settled in Boston?"
"That's a dream come true, of course, yes! You've been thinking about this for a while now haven't you? I'm the happiest woman in the world!" The brunette screamed ecstatic, practically tackling her lover into an embrace. Becky sometimes forgets about Daisy's surprising strength as the brunette closed the gap between their lips with another kiss.
"Aye I am too, but since we are deciding not to hide ourselves anymore, wanna go make out in front of Ric? You know he would blab to our folks."
"Rebecca, let's not give him a heart attack, we aren't trying to kill him." Daisy deadpanned, giving her lover a small smack on the shoulder. Becky looked over at the brunette, giving the most fake offended look, mouthing an 'ow'. The model tapped on her chin, staring up at the sky, she gave the shorter woman a nudge. "But maybe a couple pecks on the lips will ruffle some of his old feathers." Becky couldn't help the laugh that escaped at her now fiancee's antics. She was always one to go along with the crazy antics. It was one of the endless reasons how a pair of hazel eyes managed to captivate her that night. Never could she imagine her life to come out this way. "Let's go and dance the night away because starting right now, táimid saor in aisce (we are free)."
