Summary: The one where the Marauders dress up as the Friends gang for Halloween.

"You really want us to do that, Lily?" James stared at her.

"Come on!" Lily begged, purposely pouting her lips since she knew James could not resist. "It will be fun."

"But we don't have enough girls for it," James said. He would eat those words before the day was done.

Not having enough girls didn't seem to phase Lily at all. At first, she attempted to get either Sirius or Remus to dress up as a woman, but Sirius had an even better idea. He thought that perhaps the Potter family would be the girls while the rest of their friends would be the guys. After some debate (as well s Lily giggling over seeing certain people in dresses), it was agreed.

Speaking of friends, Lily had somehow gotten it into her head that the six of them would dress up as the Friends characters for Halloween, 2001.

Lily was Rachel. She called first dibs on the character since Rachel was her favourite. She got her hair cut the same way as well as dying it brown with highlights. She even managed to order some designer clothes like what Rachel wore, which she kept hidden until the big day.

Sirius quickly took Chandler while Remus finally decided on Joey. (He didn't decide. Sirius made him do it by saying that Joey is an actor just like Remus, who had to act normal in society while hiding his Moony alter-ego. Seeing the logic, Remus finally agreed.)

Peter took on Ross. He may not have been as tall as the character, but his life was in a similar sorry state at the moment, as Sirius pointed out. The only difference was that Peter's ex-wife wasn't a lesbian. She was just a bitch with a heart of stone. (No, Moony, not that kind of bitch. The other kind.)

"Thanks, Padfoot," Peter remarked as he opened a book about dinosaurs to study up on his character.

That left only two more characters.

After much fussing, James was finally dressed as Phoebe while Harry took on Monica.

Being the Muggleborn witch that she was, Lily once more took on the mission of ordering some designer dresses for her boys to match certain character dresses. Naturally, neither James nor Harry previewed their costumes until Halloween night, so everyone was curious as to what they would look like.

Lily had decked out the Potter Manor with all sorts of Halloween decor. The front lawn was a graveyard. The backyard looked like an oily, bubbly, green pool which was actually just water that looked like that using a nifty magic charm that Lily had created. All the kids that would come to the party that night would love swimming in it. Jack-o-lanterns floated through the house, just like how it was back in Hogwarts. The same went for fake bats flapping everywhere.

As evening came, people started showing up for the party, all dressed in various costumes.

The Weasleys dressed up as vampires. Ginny looked serene yet somehow menacing at the same time. Her curved fangs would glisten in the light.

Sirius had sat up two black Lay-z-boy armchairs in the living room just like how it was in Friends. He dropped into one while Remus sat in the other, both clutching steaming mugs of cocoa.

Peter came in next, carrying a large bag of various sweets. He handed it to Lily. "Hide them before Moony gets into it." He carried a small suitcase in his free hand that was supposed to have dinosaur bones in it.

Lily promptly slipped the bag into the cupboard under the sink. No one ever went in there since it was mostly for cleaning supplies, which had an added bonus of masking the scent of sweets so Remus's alter-ego, Moony, couldn't sniff it out prematurely. Lily stood up as she heard Remus's voice nearby. She hastily closed the cupboard before smoothing out her 'Rachel' dress, acting as if nothing was the matter. She looked exceptionally beautiful in the iconic mint green dress that Rachel had in season three. She quickly picked up a tray of hot steaming mugs of cocoa just as the last of the guests came in.

Once nearly everyone, except two people, was settled in the living room, holding hot chocolates, they all cast expectant looks at Lily.

"I'll get them!" Lily was giddy with excitement. Oh, this would be delightful!

James appeared first, eliciting cat calls from everyone as he gracefully stepped into the living room, guitar case in hand. He wore a wig of long blonde hair. A bracelet of diamonds was on his left wrist. He was wearing a dress that was similar to Phoebe's yellow maxi dress, complete with the gigantic red bow on the chest.

Sirius nearly died laughing.

"Dear Merlin!" Remus gasped for air, in a similar state as Sirius. "Where's Harry?"

"He's coming," Lily said, giggling like a little schoolgirl.

Hardly had she said so when Harry slipped quickly through the archway, dressed up as Monica, a silver dress like what Monica had in season one. Like James, Harry also had a wig of long black hair falling to his shoulders. He was also wearing a simple necklace with the pendant hanging down, similar to Monica.

Wolf whistles sounded out from all over the room.

Ginny was screaming with laughter as her husband sat down next to her, making a show of smoothing out the creases in the silver dress. Harry leaned close to her to whisper in her ear, "This dress is rather tight. I can't wait to get out of it."

"I can't wait to get you out of it," Ginny teased, crying with laughter as Lily disappeared into the kitchen for a moment.

"Not how I meant it but I'll take it," Harry said, laughing himself, before leaning down to rub his ankles trapped in the silver dance shoes that went with the dress. "How do you women wear these things?"

"Very carefully," Ginny answered.

"We got the whole cast!" Lily exclaimed through tears of laughter as she returned with the bag of sweets. She handed it to Ginny before grabbing a camera to take pictures while Ginny began pouring the bag into various bowls before passing those around.

Remus, of course, picked out all the chocolates he could find from the bowls of candy.

Peter eventually brought out some wine for the adults while Lily refilled the hot chocolate drinks for everyone's children.

Leaning back in the armchair, Sirius sipped some sparkling white wine while Remus enjoyed a glass of red, instead.

When the popcorn was ready, Lily put on the TV. Everyone settled back with their food to watch the most recent episode of Friends.

Yes, it was a very eventful Halloween, indeed!

~~Goodbye, Mathew Perry. Thank you for all the laughs!~~
