Takumi, Takuto, Mameo, Yuugo, and Keisuke along with their Digimon and Jesmon were teleported onto a ground covered in sand. The winds violently blew sand at them. "Gah!" Takuto grunted as he and Takumi immediately put on their goggles. Keisuke Pulled up his hood while wearing his visor and Mameo held onto his hat. "A sandstorm?!"

"Just our luck." Jesmon growled. "This tends to happen from time to time in this area, but why now?"

"Visibility is going to be an issue…" Yuugo said.

"What visibility?" Mameo asked. "I can barely make out you guys and you're right in front of me!"

"How are we supposed to find Beelzemon like this?" PileVolcamon groaned.

"Leave that to me." Rapidmon Armor said before consulting his radar. "I'm picking something up." He pointed ahead. "This way."

"Alright everyone, stay close." Mameo said. "We can't have anyone getting separated and lost here. Let's take it slow." The group slowly started moving ahead.

"On second thought…" Takumi muttered before spitting sand out of his mouth. "Maybe I should have joined the girls at the beach…"

Ami, Shiki, Nokia, Yuuko, and Himari walked alongside the beach shore with their Digimon and the two Sistermon. "Wow, the weather here is nice." Nokia smiled. "This would be a perfect spot for a vacation!"

"We'll we're not on a vacation right now." Shiki said. "We got us a job to do."

"She's right though." Himari smiled. "If it weren't for this war, this place would be crowded with people wanting to hang out in the sand and water."

Rikka stared at her. "Do humans enjoy being on a beach?"

"Absolutely! Putting on a swimsuit, relaxing in the sun…"

"Tossing a beach ball around…" Shiki added.

"Going for a nice swim in the cool, gentle waters…" Nokia smiled.

"Don't forget the ice cream stands and other treats!" Yuuko added with an excited look.

Himari laughed. "You sound like my sisters!"

"Your sisters?" Blanc asked.

"Sakura and Nazuna. They're my younger sisters. We lost our parents so I'm taking care of them on my own."

"Oh…" Nokia murmured. "That must be hard…"

"Maybe." Himari quietly muttered. "But I have to be strong. I'm all those two have. Which reminds me, after we get back to our Digital World, I should return home to check up on them."

"Have you ever thought of bringing them to your Digital World?" Ami asked.

"Huh… that never occurred to me. I'm sure they'd love Flotia. And I bet they'd be excited if another girl their age like Luche was there to play with. At the same time though not all of the Digital World is safe… It's hard to put both their happiness and safety into account…"

"I know how you feel." Sistermon Ceil said. "Blanc is my sister and my responsibility. Nothing means more to me then her happiness and her safety."

"Sis…" Blanc held onto Ceil's arm.

"Yeah…" Ami sighed. "Takumi and I lost our dad when we were young. Our mom is usually out of town working. So, most of the time it's just us. That's why Takumi can be a little overprotective sometimes. I wish he'd loosen up a bit, but I know he means well."

"I can relate to Takumi." Yuuko said. "In the previous reality I lost not only my parents but Yuugo as well. My brother spent eight years in a coma and all I could do was watch and hope. So, I know how much it hurts him whenever he sees you in danger."

"Oh…" Himari muttered. "I'm sorry to hear that…You must have felt so alone…"

"I did. But I'm not alone anymore. I got my brother and my father back." Yuuko smiled at Ami and Nokia. "And it's all because I have friends I trust."

"Aww, Yuuko!" Nokia grinned.

"You're right." Himari smiled. "Takuto, Shiki, Kouta, Mameo, Shoma, I made a lot of friends that made me glad I came to the Digital World. I bet Sakura and Nazuna would be happy to have that kind of opportunity."

Nokia looked around her. "You know… when we get home, we should hang out at a beach sometime."

"That sounds like fun!" Ami smiled. "The three of us, Takumi, Arata, Yuugo, maybe we can even get Keisuke to join us!"

"It's been a very long time since I was last on a beach." Yuuko said. "I should probably get a new swimsuit."

"We also need to bring things like sunscreen, lunches, shades, towels, umbrellas, maybe a beach ball or two as well."

"Oooh! Sounds like we're going on a shopping trip first!" Nokia grinned. "Don't worry Yuuko, I'll help you find a swimsuit that's perfect for you!"

"Just don't let Takumi ogle you too much once he sees you in one!" Ami teased.

The thought of Takumi seeing her in a swimsuit made Yuuko blush. "Uh… um… Maybe we should give this idea some more thought…"

"Well, it shouldn't be too big of an issue for you seeing him in a swimsuit." Sistermon Ceil giggled. "You've already seen him shirtless!"

All eyes went on Yuuko. "Wait, what?" Ami asked.

"When?" Nokia asked.

"How?" Shiki asked.

"Why?" Himari asked.

Yuuko's blush darkened deeper as she glared at all of them. "It is not even *remotely*what any of you are thinking!"

"Okaaaaay?" Ami muttered. "Well, just try not to get too awkward when you two see each other on the beach like that."

Shiki patted Ami on the back with a grin. "You're one to talk. Imagine Arata seeing you in a bikini. His face would be redder than your hair!"

Ami blushed a bit. "What immediately made you think of Arata in that scenario?"

"Oh, don't think you can deny you have feelings for the guy!" Rosemon Burst Mode teased.

"Yeah." Himari grinned. "Not after how you totally kissed him when he came to your rescue!" Everyone laughed as Ami hid her reddening face away.

But that laughter died down when Omegamon spotted something. "Look! Over there!" The group saw a cloud of blackness rising in the distance.

"Smoke." Kuzuhamon said. "And in the direction we're heading. Something is happening at this prison we were told of."

"A riot?" Skyla suggested.

"We won't find out from here." Shiki said. "Let's move ladies!" They all broke into a run.

Keisuke grunted as he trudged forward. "Ugh… You sure we're going the right way Rapidmon? …Rapidmon?!" Keisuke tried to look around the raging sandstorm. "Guys?! Is anyone there?!" The sandstorm slowly started to die down. "Oh, now the storm peers out… and I've lost the others." Keisuke looked around standing alone. Not even his Digimon were around. "Wonderful." He folded his arms and looked down. "Now what do I do…? If I wonder around looking for them, I could get even more lost… assuming that's possible." He felt the ground under him tremble. "Huh? What now?"

A giant SkullScorpiomon rose out of the sands roaring at Keisuke. It leered down at the boy.

"…Like this day couldn't get any better." The giant Digimon screeched as it brought its giant pinchers down. Keisuke shut his eyes bracing himself. Then he heard a gunshot and it collapsed into the sand. Keisuke looked up to see blue pixels emitting from a hole in its head before it disappeared. "Huh?"

"Well, look who it is."

Keisuke gasped and looked to his left as a tall Digimon holding a shotgun. "B-Beelzemon!"

The Deadly Digimon walked over to him. "I heard from the Cyber Sleuth you were involved in this kid. You always were crazy, but I didn't think you'd come out to a place like this alone. Why are you even here? Treasure hunting or something?"

"No, I- The ground shook again. "Oh, boy." Beelzemon turned around as more SkullScorpiomon rose from the sands. "More of them?!"

Beelzemon held up his shotgun. "These punks just don't let up."

"Friends of yours?"

"Pfft. Far from it. The Next Order sent them after me."

Keisuke looked at Beelzemon. "Why? I heard you were neutral."

"Dosen't matter to them. You either join their club or you're on their hit list." Beelzemon took aim. "But they're about to find out that I'm no pray. You stay behind me kid." The first SkullScorpiomon roared and charged at him. It swung both its claws and Beelzemon jumped away then aimed in midair. "Quick Shot!" He fired his shotgun destroying the first one. He landed in the sand then broke into a sprint towards the next. He rolled out of the way of its pincher as it came down then leapt up towards its head as the claws of his free hand glowed purple. "Darkness Claw!" He slashed it and it dissipated.

Another SkullScorpiomon charged at him and spun. "Pinch of Pain!" The sharp skewer on its tail came towards Beelzemon who tilted his head aside narrowly avoiding it. He grabbed the tail and spun the Digimon around before throwing it into another.

"Heartbreak Shot!" Beelzemon fired a bullet that pierced through the chests of both SkullScorpiomon destroying them.

The remaining ones all surrounded Beelzemon and Keisuke. "Black Out!" They all spewed a black mist that enveloped their vision.

Beelzemon took out his second shotgun. "Tch! How annoying..."

Keisuke looked around but couldn't make out their attackers. "Wait!" He put on his Digivice and pulled up a Hit Boost. "Beelzemon, use this!"

Beelzemon glowed orange and he could make out the images of his targets through the mist. "Not bad kid." He smirked and twirled both his guns. "Now get down!" He took aim. "Double Impact!" As Keisuke dropped onto the sand Beelzemon started a rapid-fire flurry as he rotated perfectly shooting down each SkullScorpiomon. One by one they collapsed and disappeared as the smokescreen dissipated.

"Amazing!" Keisuke stood up. "What I'd expect from you Beelzemon."

"Don't let your guard down just yet." Beelzemon said as somewhere someone's scope observed the two before it closed in on Keisuke. "They were just the small fry. The head honcho…" Beelzemon heard a bang then rushed in front of Keisuke deflecting a shot aimed for the human with the gauntlet on his arm. "…Is still gunning for us."

Keisuke looked up. A black bird with red wings, brown leather, a green shoulder pad and a white helmet wielding a rifle hovered over them. "Hmph. I suppose it'd take more than the SkullScorpiomon to take down a Deadly Digimon."

"Vulturemon." Beelzemon said. "You got some nerve coming after me."

"The Next Order is offering a large bounty for taking you down." Vulturemon aimed his CND-96 riffle at Beelzemon. "And I was told to be on the lookout for humans in the area too. I bet I'll get a nice bonus for dusting the kid with you."

Beelzemon aimed his twin Berejena at him. "Just try it scumbag." Keisuke nervously backed away.

Ami's group hurried over to a large structure made of black metal. There was a giant hole torn through the gate. "Whoa! What happened here?" Himari asked.

"Someone tore a hole through this gate." Samudramon said.

Nokia looked around. "So, if this is a prison, shouldn't it have, you know, prison guards?" Nokia asked. "Are they on lunch break or something?"

Omegamon closed his eyes. "I can sense the fading essence of Digimon dissipating in front of us…"

"What does that mean?"

"It means the guards aren't on break Nokia." Gaia said. "Somebody broke them."

"Question is… did this happen because someone was trying to get out? Or was someone trying to get in?" Ami asked.

Gunshots were heard from inside. "I think it's the ladder." Ophanimon said.

"And whoever broke in is still inside!" Rikka added.

"I wonder if it's Beelzemon." Yuuko said. "Let's check it out!" Everyone hurried in save for the two Sistermon.

"This looks ugly Blanc." Ceil said. "We better go all out."

"Okay!" Blanc nodded. The two started to glow.

Mameo pointed at a SkullScorpiomon. "File!"

"Spiral Driver!" His Mamemon spun as he punched it taking it down.

Dorugramon dodged the pinchers of another before grabbing its arm and throwing it into another. "Gigawatt Laser!" Storm finished them off while they were toppled.

Takumi, Takuto, Yuuko, and Mameo all stood back-to-back. "Great." Takumi murmured. "The sandstorm finally died out just for us to find out we lost Keisuke and got ourselves surrounded by these things?"

"We need to tear though these things fast and find Keisuke!" TyrantKabuterimon said as he beat down another foe.

Another SkullScorpiomon rushed at them. "HiAndromon!" Yuugo shouted. His Digimon ran in front of them and took the dual weapons from his back.

He started blocking the pinchers with them before he parried and made his opening. "Copy Paste!" He slashed the SkullScorpimon to pieces.

"Pinch of Pain!" One of them flung their tail at PileVolcamon who caught it and spun it around before throwing it into the air.

"Ocean Wave!" MetalSeadramon blasted it out of the sky. Another tried to ambush him, but Rapidmon Armor shot it with missiles.

Four more rose from the sand behind the Digimon surrounding the humans. "No!" Jesmon gasped. "Weltgeist!" He flew in with At, Rene, and Pol, blocking every one of the pinchers as they came down. "Judgment of The Blade!" In a flash he cut every single one of them down.

"Thanks!" Yuugo smiled.

"That's Jesmon for you." Takumi grinned.

"Black Out!" Three SkullScorpiomon let lose a mist of black.

"BlackWarGreymon!"

"Nova!"

"Black Tornado!"

"Great Tornado!" Both WarGreymon spun in place blowing the smog away. They both then held up fiery orbs. "Get down everyone! Terra Force!"

"Dark Terra Force!" They threw giant red orbs that crashed into the ground blowing every last SkullScorpiomon to smithereens.

"Nice!" Takuto grinned before turning to Takumi while holding his hand up. Takumi gave him a high five. "Ha, ha! We make a pretty good team, huh?"

"Now that that's done let's hurry and find Keisuke!" PileVolcamon said.

Rapidmon Armor looked around. "There! I'm picking something up!"

"Let's go!" Takumi said. They all hurried after Rapidmon.

Following a trail of destruction around them, Ami's group hurried deeper into the prison camp. "Man, whoever attacked this place sure cut lose." Himari said.

"Let's hope whoever it is, is friendly if they're not Beelzemon." Ophanimon said.

Yuuko gasped. "Over there!"

A large horde of Digimon had three gunfighters surrounded. One of them was a woman with long blond hair in jet black leather pants and a matching low-cut coat exposing her middle. She had a blueish mask and a black muffler. She had twin handguns that she fired at her enemies with. The second one was a giant machine with silver armor covered from head to toe in guns as he shot at the guards coming for them. The third one was clad in red wearing a cowboy hat and a muffler. He had twin guns attached to ted tendrils extended from his hips. He had twin guns for legs and his fingers were firing green pellets. Ami looked at the one in black. "Beelzemon? No… it's someone else."

"Does it matter?" Shiki asked. "They're surrounded, let's help them out!"

Skyla ascended. "Magma Bomb!" She dropped a fiery orb onto a bunch of Gladiamon.

The three Digimon looked at the Resistance as they hurried over. "Well, well." The female asked. "What do we have here?"

From behind the humans and their Digimon Sistermon Blanc in her Awake state rushed in and pierced a Snimon with her trident. Sistermon Ceil in Awake form flew over everyone and shot a bunch of DarkMaildrmon before landing next to her sister. The red Digimon tilted his hat as he looked at the newcomers. "I recon y'all are with the Resistance."

"We are." Himari replied. "Who are you three?"

The machine Digimon tuned to them. "We are called the Three Musketeers. A band of travelers that have been bringing justice upon the Next Order for their devilry upon the weak."

"Three Musketeers?" Ami asked. The female Digimon of the group walked over to Ami and looked at her. "Um… is something wrong?"

The Digimon smiled. "Interesting. You kids are human, aren't you?"

"That's right." Nokia replied.

"Well, I'll be a Etemon's uncle!" the red Digimon grinned. "Never thought I'd see a human with my own eyes."

Ami looked at the blond Digimon. "Who are you? And why do you look so much like Beelzemon?"

The woman scoffed. "I get there's a resemblance kiddo, but I'd thank you not to compare me with that douchebag brother of mine."

"You're Beelzemon's sister?!" Kuzuhamon asked.

"Yes, but in case it wasn't obvious, we're not exactly close. Name's BeelStarmon." The woman pointed behind her. "The big guy is Gundramon, and the one with the hat is MagnaKidmon."

"Greetings." Gundramon said.

"Howdy!" MagnaKidmon waved.

"I heard rumors of a band of gunslinging Digimon…" Omegamon said. "A mysterious group that would show up to help the innocent then vanish like mist…"

BeelStarmon grinned. "We do make a habit of helping the weak then taking off. Why else would we be staging a jailbreak here?"

"Mind if we help?" Ceil smiled.

"Ha, ha. You kids got spirit. I like that. Well, normally I'd say our group works alone, but, I doubt you'd turn away because I said no."

Heavy footsteps got everyone's attention as another wave of Digimon came at them. "There they are! The humans! Get them!"

"A bit too late to turn you away anyhow."

"Alright, let's kick some ass!" Nokia grinned.

Omegamon took aim. "Supreme Cannon!" He blasted a Depthmon then drew his Grey Sword and flew at the enemies.

Kuzuhamon blocked a Fugamon's club with her staff. "Illuminator!" She unleashed a burst of light disintegrating it.

"Lunatic Slash!" Three Jokermon jumped at Ophanimon who blocked their sickles with her shield.

"Shinning Laser!" The holy Digimon destroyed all three of them.

Himari pointed at two Blue MegaKabuterimon. "Rikka! Take the fliers!"

"Right!" Her Magnadramon took the skies. "Saint Ray!" She shot them down.

"Fly Bullet!" BeelStarmon fired two bullets with faces that homed in and destroyed two Piximon. A MetalTyranomon stomped towards her from behind, but without turning around she lifted her foot up, so it pointed at it. Her heeled boot fired a hidden gun repeatedly at it until it was destroyed. More came at her from all directions. She got on her hands, spread her legs and spun like a top. "Hurricane Screw Shot!" Her heels fired bullets from her boots at them. She stood back up and turned around as a Mihiramon pounced at her and pinned her to the ground but before it could capitalize with its claws it was shot.

Sistermon Ceil landed next to BeelStarmon as more surrounded them. "Can I join this dance?"

BeelStarmon lifted her legs then sprung to her feet. "Okay. Let's dance!"

"Silent Bullet!" Sistermon Ceil started gracefully moving around with BeelStarmon as they fired bullets at all the Digimon that tried to get near them.

"Der Blitz!" Gundramon's hands fired rounds into a swarm of Waspmon that tried to divebomb him before more had him surrounded. "Gewalt Schwármer!" All the guns on his body fired at once destroying every last one of them. Then an Oryxmon charged at it.

Sistermon Blanc jumped onto Gundramon's head and held up her trident. "Devine Peirce!" She destroyed the goat Digimon before it could attack.

"Not bad kid." Gundramon grinned.

"Blind Red Trigger!" MagnaKidmon's pistols on his hips stabbed into a Knightmon destroying it. He then flew high above three others. "Happy Bullet Showering!" He fired rounds from his legs and fingers blowing them all apart.

When MagnaKidmon landed, Samudramon leapt over him and cleaved through an Orochimon with his swords then held his hand out to a Pukumon. "Destruction!" The Digimon was obliterated instantly.

"Ha!" MagnaKidmon looked at Yuuko. "You kids work with Digimon pretty well!"

"Had plenty of practice." Yuuko replied.

A Breakdramon approached them. Ami and Shiki nodded to each other. "Rosemon!"

"Gaia!"

"Destroyed Rush!" Rosemon Burst Mode and Shiki's Rosemon flew up and dodged Breakdramon's arms and they came down for them. They then shot their whips each tangling up a leg. They both flew circles around it and made it trip.

"Down he goes!" Ami grinned as she and her friends braced themselves from the shockwave and dust from the impact.

"Finish him!" Shiki ordered.

Both Rosemon reeled their arms back then flung both their whips. As they approached, they coiled into a thorny spear that pierced through Breakdramon's back destroying it. "Yeah!" Shiki and Ami jumped giving each other a double high five.

"I think that's all of them." BeelStarmon said as they all gathered finishing their battles.

"We did it!" Nokia cheered. "Sweet, sweet victory!"

"Yee haw!" MagnaKidmon fired bullets into the air startling everyone. "Oh… sorry. Old habit."

"Now let's get the prisoners out of their cells and bail before the Next Order can send backup." Sistermon Ceil said.

"Way ahead of you." BeelStarmon said before turning to the side. "It's safe to come out now!"

One by one a bunch of Digimon poked out from the debris around everyone and hurried over. "Wow! You already freed them all?" Himari asked.

"Yup." Gundramon replied. "We were just on our way out when we got pinned by these chumps. I was a bit worried some of the poor folks were going to get caught in the crossfire, but looks like it worked out."

"I'm sure we could've handled this alone." MagnaKidmon said. "But thanks to you we got it done faster."

"Thanks for the backup." BeelStarmon said. "I'm guessing you came here to free these poor prisoners like us?"

"Actually no." Yuuko replied shaking her head. "We came here looking for your brother, Beelzemon."

"Our friend did a scan for him and thought she might be here." Himari explained. "But I guess it was you she detected instead."

"And what business do you have with Beelzemon?" BeelStarmon asked.

"The Next Order locked our friend up in the Dank Area." Nokia said.

"Dark Area." all her friends replied at once.

"Yeah, that's what I meant. Anyway, they did something that's stopping us from going in to look for her."

"So, we thought maybe one of the Seven Deadly Digimon would know how to get in." Yuuko explained. "And since Beelzemon is a neutral party we thought he might be willing to tell us."

"I see." BeelStarmon replied. "Sorry, but I can't help you there. I cut off my ties with that idiot brother of mine long ago. I have no idea where to find him."

"What? Why?"

"Ancient history kid. We both chose our separate paths. And neither of us plan to turn around."

Yuuko looked at her uncomfortably. "Well, do you know anything about the Dark Area or how to get there?" Shiki asked. "This is important."

BeelStarmon shook her head. "Afraid not. Never been there and never plan on going anywhere near that hellscape."

The group sighed. "I see…" Ami frowned. "That's unfortunate."

"Sorry I couldn't help you."

"It's okay. I'm not about to give up. The Digimon trapped there is very dear to me. And I owe her a great deal."

"Heh." BeelStarmon smiled. "Her predicament be damned, she's lucky to have a friend who would go as far as chasing her to the Dark Area for her."

"Thanks."

"Well, I wish you the best of luck. The three of us will be on our way. Oh, sorry to dump this on you, but think you can take these Digimon with you to your base?"

"Of course! They'll be safe with us at the city!" Nokia grinned. "…Wait, you're not coming with us?"

"We still got plenty of trouble to cause the Next Order." MagnaKidmon said. "No rest for the best."

"Why don't you join us?" Ophanimon suggested. "Together we can do much more than just cause trouble for them."

"Tempting, but we'll pass." Gundramon replied. "The Three Musketeers do things our own way."

"Yup, our group flies solo." MagnaKidmon replied. "…Or trio. Or- Bah, you know what I mean."

"But hey, if we're all against the Next Order, I'm sure our paths will cross again." BeelStarmon said as she and her teammates walked away. "Until then, you kids stay safe."

Ami watched them leave. "Wow. She and Beelzemon may have the loner thing, but BeelStarmon's way more friendly. They're like night and day."

"It's a shame they won't join us." Shiki sighed. "I bet they'd be a great help."

"It is also unfortunate we did not learn anything to help free Alphamon." Omegamon added.

Nokia turned to them. "Well, look on the bright side. We helped free all these Digimon."

"She's right." Himari smiled. "It's not like we didn't gain anything from this trip."

"Excuse me…" A Damemon walked up to them. "Are you guys from the Resistance?"

Ceil and Blanc reverted to their smaller forms before Ceil walked up and leaned over to look it in the eyes. "That's right. You guys should come with us back to the city. We have plenty of food and shelter."

"We're saved!" and Elecmon cheered.

Ami put on her Digivice. "This is Ami. We're ready to head back. We got a lot of Digimon that were held captive here. Think we can get them all back here?"

"I should be able to modify the Home Gate program to bring them back with you." Hudiemon replied. "Did you find Beelzemon?"

"Not exactly… We'll give you the full story when we return."

"Understood. Stand by."

Beelzemon fired his shotguns and Vulturemon flew to the side avoiding the shots. The bird then aimed his rifle at the Deadly Digimon. "Reaper Strike!" He fired a black projectile. Beelzemon dodged it and continued to fire. "Desert Death Scythe!" Vulturemon charged at him ready to swoop in for a strike with the scythe on his weapon.

Beelzemon tossed one of his guns into the air as he got close. "Darkness Claw!" Vulturemon screeched as he was knocked out of the air and slammed into the sand. Beelzemon caught his gun as it came down and slowly aproached Vulturemon with both firearms pointed at him. "Game over feather face."

"N-no! Please! I give up!"

"Oh yeah? Did you ever spare someone who gave up? I heard the stories about you Vulturemon. You took many lives. Some of which were just defenseless Digimon who begged you for mercy before you gunned them down."

"These are hard times! For some of us, bounty hunting is the only way to make a living!"

"Yeah right. You didn't just do it for the money. You did it for the thrill of the kill. You made your choice fella. And I'm making mine. As much as I don't like taking down those weaker than me, the thought of letting you live disgusts me even more." Beelzemon stood right in front of the downed Digimon aiming at it. "Say goodnight."

Vulturemon looked up at Beelzemon. Then at Keisuke behind him. A smirk rose on his face. "Witherwing!" He spread his wings and a bird made of sand flew into Beelzemon.

"Agh!" The gunman held his arms up. He was not hurt but temporarily blinded. He pointed his guns at where Vulturemon previously was, but he vanished. Beelzemon looked around. "Where-

"AHHH!"

Beelzemon whirled around and pointed his weapons at Vulturemon who held Keisuke in one hand and pointed his rifle at him with the other. "You coward!"

"Okay tough guy, I know when I'm beat." Vulturemon said. "But I ain't going back to the Next Order empty handed. I'm sure they'll be happy enough with me for bagging a human. And I suggest you don't try and stop me if you want your little friend here to keep breathing." Keisuke was too frightened to speak.

"Think those chicken wings are faster than my bullets?" Beelzemon asked. "The moment you try to take off I'll drill a hole in your head."

"I'm faster than you think pal. And my eyes are sharp. The moment I see your trigger finger move, I'll be sure the human here takes the bullet for me. So, how's this gonna go down?" The dessert wind was the only sound as Beelzemon narrowed his gaze. Vulturemon's riffle pressed against Keisuke who looked back and forth between the two.

Beelzemon's gaze narrowed. "5…4…3…2…1…"

"Smiley Bomb!" A red explosive hit Vulturemon in the back making him stumble to the ground. Keisuke fell out of his grip.

"Gah! Who-

"Keisuke!" Storm flew in and grabbed Keisuke by his hood and carried him away from the Digimon.

Vulturemon grabbed his rifle and aimed at them. "You!" A golden beam blasted the weapon to pieces. He looked up to see Rapidmon Armor above him.

Takumi and the others ran over to the MetalGarurumon who landed with Keisuke. "Keisuke!" TyrantKabuterimon rushed over with PileVolcamon and MetalSeadramon. "Are you alright?!"

"Yeah, thanks."

"H-how many humans are there…?!" Vulturemon looked at them.

Beelzemon smirked. "Let's end this…"

"N-no…"

"Double Impact." Beelzemon fired repeatedly into the Digimon who screamed as he was pumped with dark rounds before he collapsed into the sand and his body faded away.

Everyone stared at the sandy ground the Digimon vanished in. "…Was that really necessary?" Mameo asked.

Beelzemon twirled his guns. "Trust me, the dirtbag won't be missed."

"Well… thanks for saving me, Beelzemon." Keisuke smiled.

"Don't get the wrong idea kid. I just can't stand scum like that picking on the weak."

"Well… that was an adventure…" Takuto said. "But at least we're all back together."

"And we found Beelzemon." Yuugo added.

"You came here looking for me?" the Deadly Digimon asked, turning away. "Sorry to rain on your parade, but as I said before I have no intentions of joining sides. Not the Next Order's and not yours."

"Beelzemon, wait!" Takumi ran towards him. "We're not asking you to join us, we just want information!"

Beelzemon glanced over his shoulder. "What kind of information?"

"About the Dark Area."

Beelzemon turned around to face him. "What about it?"

"The Next Order had Brother Sorrow and Hosaka lure Alphamon there after you Deadly Digimon left." HiAndromon explained. "After that they used some kind of program Digimon can't use to seal the Dark Area with her inside."

"We need her to end this war." Jesmon said. "Do you know anyway for us to get inside?"

Beelzemon put a hand at his hip. "Huh. So that's what's going on. I was wondering how I got locked out of the place. Well, hate to break it to you but I haven't the slightest clue how to get past that damn lock. I tried everything already."

"What?" Yuugo asked.

"There's gotta be a way!" Takumi said.

"Well, then good luck finding one "Cyber Sleuth". Sorry you came all this way for nothing, but you're on your own." Beelzemon whistled and his Behemoth came to him. He put his Berejena back into their holsters before mounting the bike. "If that's all you wanted to talk about do me a favor and leave me be already." He took off across the desert sands.

"Yeesh." Takuto groaned. "His attitude's even worse than our Beelzemon's."

Mameo sighed. "In the end, we didn't learn anything about the Dark Area. We're no closer to freeing Alphamon…"

Takumi's gaze shifted down. Takuto walked over and put a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, don't give up. We'll find another way."

Keisuke aproached them from behind. "He's right. You said it yourself there has to be a way." He put a hand on Takumi's other shoulder. "Look, it's thanks to you I was able to reunite with Erika. So, I'm going to do everything in my power to get you back with your boss."

Takumi took a deep breath. "Thank you… Keisuke… Takuto…"

"Let's head back for now." Yuugo said. "Not much more we can do here."

Well, Diginerd X, you were mostly correct. At least about BelleStarmon X and her fellow Musketeers. Though according to my research on BeelStarmon, she and Beelzemon don't get along, so I decided to make them siblings in this story. Because as we all know brothers and sisters are natural enemies.

Creepymon: Like Royal Knights and Deadly Digimon. Or Celestial Digimon and Deadly Digimon! Or Devas and Deadly Digimon! Or Deadly Digimon and other Deadly Digimon! Damn Deadly Digimon! They ruined the Dark Area!
