Hey everyone!

I have no idea if anyone will even see this as the email glitch seems to have delayed things. I have been writing for NaNoWriMo and have some parts written for all my stories so I am hoping to continue with bi-weekly updates. I'm also hoping to get back on track with set days to update. Things are slowly looking up again! I will also confess that I am currently editing part 37 of this story as I am LOVING writing this.

Lots of love,

A Wild Heart – Part 14:

The group stood inside the Aldburg Mead Hall and, for Éowara, Éowyn and Éomer, it was like stepping back in time. The three looked around before they all caught sight of something.

"The family tapestry…" Éowyn spoke as she looked at her cousin.

"My cousins. You grew up here. This was your Hall for the first years of your lives. You deserve to be in here," Éothain spoke, "this is still your home," he said as he glanced at Éowara. He'd seen her in Aldburg but remained silent as he watched her.

"Would Boromir and I have been in here had he survived?" Éowara thought aloud causing Éothain to look at Éomer.

"There is much to tell you," Éomer spoke, "our sister's betravel to Prince Faramir's brother Éowyn and I are beginning to learn about."

Éothain nodded before the group sat down and began to eat and drink, talking about affairs in both Rohan and Gondor. Despite the two Kingdoms sharing a border only Éomer was kept up-to-date with the affairs of Gondor.

Éomer, however, wanted to change that and Éothain would become his second in command and Aldburg would be restored to its former glory and serve as an important location for Rohan and Gondor. Éomer wanted his home settlement to become what it had in days past, for himself and his sisters.

The King of the Mark watched his sisters; Éowyn was fully engaged in the conversations that were happening whilst Éowara was different. He'd received news of his sister through letters and had grown concerned about her. He silently decided that he would take her for a gentle ride around Kingstead and see what he could get out of her. It appeared that she was deeply mourning Boromir and he wanted to hear from his sister herself what happened between the two of them. He knew some things but little of the Cardolan troubles the two had had.

Éomer was seeing a side to his sister he'd never seen before. He'd only ever seen the stubborn, rebellious side to his sister but now he was seeing the vulnerable side to her as well… something that he'd never paid much attention to as they were growing up. He moved to his youngest sister's side and rested a hand on her shoulder.

"Before you depart for the Stonedeans I would like some time alone with Éowara," Éomer spoke before moving to sit with Aragorn and Éothain to discuss business.

"How is Éowara in Gondor?" Éomer asked Aragorn after a while.

"Escaping to worlds we didn't know she'd ventured to, lost, grieving for Boromir. Prince Faramir, Éowyn, Arwen and myself are only beginning to learn how deep her love was for him," Aragorn spoke, "they were to be married."

"Married?" Éomer asked, shocked, "now I know why she wears a cloak of grief," he spoke.

"Boromir had asked her in Rivendell before the Fellowship of the Ring was made," Aragorn spoke as he looked between Éomer and Éothain, "she had agreed to become his wife and the two were to return to Gondor bur Boromir joined the Fellowship and Éowara was sent back to Rohan on my orders and…"

"Right into Grima's clutches," Éomer spoke before looking at Aragorn, "you were not to know what you were sending her back to," he said, "you thought you were sending her to safety."

"It does not make me feel better," Aragorn spoke as he looked at Éomer, "had I known she would have had the safety of Imladris until the Ring was destroyed."

Éomer thought for a few moments before he turned to his friend.

"Éowara is safe now," he spoke, "we will help her and I am assuming there is a plan involving her?"

"Éowara is going to be my representative in Arnor. She is going to be overseeing the rebuilding of Annúminas and, in turn, I am going to try and give her what she desires most: Entry to the Shire," Aragorn said, "she has friends there and I shall speak with our Halfling friends. Éowara is not a threat to them and hopefully they will see that and let her in. Men can only enter the Shire with permission of the Hobbits."

"And in Gondor?" Éomer asked.

"She will be restoring Osgiliath and the Seats of Isildur and Anárion will be reunited and the Dome of Stars will also be restored. She also has plans to erect a new Minas Ithil… a new Tower of the Moon," Aragorn spoke, "she knows the lands better than anyone, including myself and that is something I have to use to my advantage. Then…" a sigh left his lips, "… the destruction of the former Minas Ithil now Minas Morgul."

"Is it truly to be destroyed?" Éomer asked, slightly surprised.

"Your sister is the only person who has been to the Morgul Vale and withstood the evil that lurks there. I am not sure how she is able to withstand it but she can. The Vale is lost and I trust your sister," Aragorn spoke, "she had to fight to win over my Councillors but she's determined and passionate and won them over to the point where they agreed to trust her and allow her to carry out her plans. The Arnor tasks will take less time which is why we are starting there," he said.

"My sisters inherited our father's stubbornness," Éomer said with a sigh, "Éowara does not remember our father. The only true father figure she had was our Uncle and he was taken from us now. Could this be the way my youngest sister discovers what she is meant to be doing in the world?"

Aragorn nodded as he looked at Éowyn and Éowara. The two were in a conversation with each other about something and Éowara appeared to be paying attention and he watched the youngest sister before feeling eyes on him.

"That is what we are hoping. Arwen has taken her very much under her care. She sees some of herself in Éowara and I cannot disagree with her either," Aragorn spoke, "She's lost, Éomer. Her whole future had been mapped out with Boromir and that was taken from her… just like her father was before she could remember him. People have been taken and you and Éowyn had affairs to take your attention she didn't."

"We tried to keep her a little girl for as long as we could but she went to Stoke in the Broadacres and Fríthild taught Éowyn and Éowara all they know and learn how to become a shield-maiden and that was the moment she had some sort of direction," Éothain spoke as he remembered back to their times as children, "it appeared that that was what she needed but she has always been lost. The child that was not planned needs some sort of direction and that is something that we can hope she will have now."

"Can we calm the wild child of Rohan and Gondor?" Éomer asked.

"That is something we are about to find out," Aragorn spoke, "I will help her no matter what. She needs all of us together to assist her and that is the truth."
