Hey everyone!

I have no idea if anyone will even see this as the email glitch seems to have delayed things. I have been writing for NaNoWriMo and have some parts written for all my stories so I am hoping to continue with bi-weekly updates. I'm also hoping to get back on track with set days to update. Things are slowly looking up again!

Lots of love,

Finally Belonging Somewhere - Part 116:

Aurora smiled as she sat and watched Draco open his presents from her.

"How much of this did you do yourself Aurora?" Draco asked as he looked at his sister.

"Most of it. I had to get permission to go to Hogsmeade to get some of you things," she said as she looked at her brother, "we managed to get there and back again before your meetings finished," she added with a giggle and watched to see how Draco would react when he learnt that.

"I see there is some Slytherin in you after all," Draco said with a chuckle as he opened the last of her presents finally, "thank you," he said as he kissed her head softly, "they're all wonderful," he added before looking at his other presents from his parents.

He smiled and opened them, thanking them for their gifts and said that he'd been needing some new writing paper and ink pots so that had come in very handy indeed. He then opened a small gift from Ellie and Charlotte as they'd brought him something. Then he opened the gifts from the Greengrasses as James and Cait had sent something via Daphne and Astoria.

"We will be talking you both out for lunch soon and all the grandparents will be there as well," Lucius said as he looked at his children and wondered how Aurora would react to that but none came.

The group sat together talking for a while before Lucius and Narcissa headed to Dumbledore's Office with Draco and Aurora so they could use the Floo to head to London and to the restaurant where the meal would be taking place.

Aurora fiddled with her dress as it was making her itchy and she wasn't liking it as she stepped into the Floo and soon arrived at the restaurant. She stepped into Priscilla's arms before pulling away.

"I don't like this dress! It's itchy!" she said before Narcissa stepped out of the fireplace.

"Aurora, please stop that," Narcissa said as she caught sight of her daughter. Aurora just stomped her foot and crossed her arms as she heard her mother's words.

"Cissa…" Priscilla said, just as desperate to avoid a scene as her daughter-in-law was, "let me take her for a few minutes," she said before taking Aurora's hand and leading her out of the restaurant and to the Malfoys' usual clothes store and got her granddaughter a new dress… one that wasn't making her itchy.

"There we go," Priscilla said as she and Aurora sat down after arriving back at the restaurant, "a new dress but she isn't itchy anymore. I suggest avoiding that material in the future."

"Thank you, Priscilla," Narcissa said with a nod as she looked at her daughter. She would speak to her later about her behaviour but, for now, the focus was on Draco and his birthday meal.

Abraxas asked his grandchildren about their lessons and what they were doing before learning what Draco had already received. He raised an eyebrow at what Aurora had given him but he also knew that Aurora would have wanted to make it special for Draco as it was the first birthday she had been with her family and brother.

"I wanted to give Draco the best birthday ever and get him lots of nice things," Aurora said, "mummy got permission for me to go to Hogsmeade and that's where I managed to get most of my things from," she explained as she looked at her grandfather with a smile and sipped on her pumpkin juice, "it's my first birthday back with my brother and I wanted to give him 11 years of presents in one go."

"You didn't have to do that Aurora," Draco said, "as I said to you earlier just having you back where you belong is enough for me," he said as he turned from the conversation he was having with his father and grandfather, "the best present is having you back with us."

Aurora just nodded before she looked at the menu to see what she could have to eat as she bit her lip. She wanted to read the menu carefully as she was indecisive that day and hadn't been expecting to go out for a meal like she was. She looked around and noticed that someone was missing and she couldn't understand why.

"Where is Meredith?" she asked and Narcissa looked at her daughter.

"She will be here shortly as she's only at the Ministry of Magic," Narcissa said, "now have you decided what you wish to eat yet?" Aurora just shook her head and Narcissa sighed as she saw the shake of her daughter's head.

It was a few minutes later and Meredith appeared with a present for Draco that she gave to him before taking her seat between Aurora and her mother. She looked at her niece and smiled softly, taking a look at the girl's menu so she could see what she was going to have.

"What are you having Aurora?" Meredith asked her niece as she saw Aurora just staring at the menu.

"She doesn't know," Narcissa replied, "she's being difficult today," she added and Aurora just sighed.

"I can't help it. My dress was itchy and I had to scratch myself and now I don't know what I want to eat," she said, "I is not being difficult mummy."

Meredith shot her sister-in-law a look before turning back to Aurora and the menu.

"OK so lets start with the obvious question of what do you feel like eating," she said.

"Chips and I want some pasta. That's what I want but they don't do that," Aurora said with a sigh.

"What else would you like with it?"

"Chicken and cheese sauce," Aurora replied and Meredith nodded before deciding what she was going to have before everyone ordered what they were having. Meredith asked for Aurora's to be done in a specific way so the girl could make up her own meal later on as that would be something that Aurora may have wanted done in a certain way so she could make the meal what she wanted it to be.

The meal went well at least and everything else afterwards. It was only going to be once Draco and Aurora had gone to the Common Room that things took a turn.
