Mason: It looks like two of the bombers are in this area, and we're spread pretty thin right now.
Jack: So you want us to help stop them.
Mason: Yes. I know you two have done a lot today...
Tony: I'm in.
Jack: Me too.
Mason: Thank you.

At the hospital Kim Bauer gets a cup of coffee. Here she meets Nicole Carter, wife of Eric Carter.

Nicole: You look as scared as I feel.
Kim: My husband was injured in one of the bombings.
Nicole: So was mine, they're unsure if he's ever going to wake up. I feel like I should be doing more.
Kim: I'm sure the doctors are doing all they can.
Nicole: It's just that I'm a nurse. I've helped save so many others, but I don't know if it's enough to save my own husband.
Kim: If you were working right now, and I said I should be doing more for my husband, what would you say to me?
Nicole: That you should let the doctors do their job and cut yourself some slack. And I guess I should be doing that myself.

Jamey Farrell and Chloe OBrien access the chip and learn who else was involved. This proves that Dimitry Utkin and vice-president G'ulom are involved. There are recordings and money trails proving this. George Mason immediately sends this intel to president Keaton.

President Keaton is informed of this development. This might be their best chance to avoid further war. He immediately calls president Daoud in Afghanistan. So far the bombers in three different cities have been killed or captured, no CTU personnel have been killed. So far it's the best outcome they could have hoped for under these circumstances.
