Lincoln and Lucy's new summer home

Chapter 1: The ride to Great Lakes City

It was last day of school for this school year and Lincoln & Lucy didn't have any clue on how they would spend their summer vacation or anything.

"What are we going to do Lincoln?" Lucy asked her favorite sibling.

"I got it!" Lincoln said. "We'll stay with the Casagrandes."

Then Rita started to pack up their stuff.

Leni was unhappy that their only brother is moving to the Casagrandes.

Lucy was fearing they will treat her badly.

"Don't worry Lucy the casagrandes will be nice to us." Lincoln said.

"It's not that I'm worried about it's those cats remember?" Lucy said.

"Don't worry I'm sure those cats won't hurt you as long as i protect you." Lincoln said.

Leni was crying all by herself as they got into Vanzilla.

Rita asked, "Do you want anyone to take your place Lucy or Lincoln, such as Gwen or Libby?"

Leni will miss her brother too much.

"Don't worry Leni it's only going to be for the summer plus we'll call you every night." Lincoln said.

Leni asked, "How will that be possible if you both don't have cell phones or unlimited talk and text?"

"You can use my laptop and we can FaceTime each other." Lincoln said.

Lincoln was going to miss his BFF Clyde all summer.

Lucy will miss her goth friends quite a lot and asked, "What did we do to go to the Casagrandes, mom?"

"Don't worry Great Lake city will be a nice change of pace for you two." Rita said.

Lincoln fears his question to their mom.

Ronnie Anne was getting her room cleaned for the 2 guests.

"Wow prima getting ready to see your boyfriend?" Carl asked.

"Lincoln is not my boyfriend!" Ronnie Anne said.

Lincoln fears they were in trouble at home and that's why they were going to Great Lake City.

"We're going there for the summer remember." Lucy said.

"Oh right." Lincoln said embarrassed.

Clyde was pretty unhappy about Lincoln won't coming with him during the summer.

Lincoln sees Ronnie Anne but was nervous about how they will treat Lucy as she hasn't been to Great Lake City since that one Christmas.

"Don't worry Lincoln you'll protect me." Lucy said

Lincoln was missing their family already.

Lucy doesn't say anything til they got there.

"It's going to be ok." Lucy said.

Lincoln asked, "Are you sure? What will happen to your morticians club or your favorite show?"

Leni was getting Lincoln's laptop and charging it up.

"I hope this works." Leni said.
