Lucifer was tidying up his suit whilst looking in the mirror. He felt nervous, but pushed that feeling behind because he was the devil, and the devil doesn't get nervous.

He made her grilled cheese. Nothing too fancy because she never seemed to like it.

He was hearing rumors that Chloe was teaming up with a priest to kill him, but he wouldn't dare think she would do that. I mean, he couldn't have possibly ruined their relationship, because of what he was, and what everyone made him out to be.

He finally got pulled away from his thoughts when he heard the elevator ding.

The detective.

Lucifer walked out of his bedroom and walked Chloe towards the table he set for them.

"Chloe." He said smiling, you could hear the excitement creeping in his voice.

"I'm glad you could make it." Lucifer pulled up the chair from the table, and scooted her in once she sat down.

"Lucifer, this looks delicious. Thank you so much, and I am glad I could fit this into my schedule. You know how it is for me." She smiled at Lucifer, but something was wrong with it. He couldn't tell what. And didn't care, because whatever happened can wait till tomorrow to be announced. Nothing would ruin this perfect moment for them.

"Hey Lucifer? Can you put on some music?" She looked at him and smirked. Giving him the impression that they were going to have the time of their lives (in the bed).

"Yeah, I'll be right back Detective."

While Lucifer was away getting the remote, to put on some music through the speakers. Chloe grabbed the vial. She grabbed his wine cup, and poured the liquid in. She wasn't going to back out now. She needed to save Trixie, and everyone else. She read somewhere, that he bit the heads off of children, and tortured people.

When Lucifer came back, after putting on some music. He took a big gulp of his wine. At first he didn't feel anything, but then…

"D-detective, something's wrong." But he just watched as the Detective stood there, he started wondering if the rumors had been true.

"What d-did you do?" He found out it was poison, because a while back, the detective and him were working on a case, and the victim was poisoned. Lucifer had the same symptoms, well ish because some poisons were different. Though he did have a majority of the symptoms.

Lucifer clasped the table to keep his balance, but didn't even gain enough strength to do that. He fell to the floor, feeling defeated, and betrayed.

"I'm sorry Lucifer. But you're the devil, and I am just a nobody. This is all too overwhelming. And this could all just be a big plan for you to torture me somehow. I'm sorry Lucifer, but I can't risk it." Chloe said. She was starting to tear up, but then grabbed her phone out of her pants pocket, and texted someone.

Lucifer looked at her with pain-filled eyes. She would've been the last person he thought to betray him. He scooted himself away from her, until he hit the leg of the couch. He tried to bring his hands together, tried to call one of his siblings for help, but got interrupted by Chloe. She drew his hands apart, scared of what would happen to her, if a celestial found out.

Then he heard the ding of the elevator, and he saw a man walk in, with what seemed to be ceremonial stuff. He looked unamused with the situation going around.

The whoever-he-was started talking but it was mumbled. He couldn't understand what they were saying and talking about. Then they began to close in on him, mumbling something.

Lucifer started to foam around his mouth, and his body was becoming more inactive.

Don't back down. This one act could've saved the world. You're a detective, and detectives help people, Chloe thought. Trying to help herself from not backing out of this.

"I ahm heling te worl Lucifr. We ar heling the worl. ou ar the devil, and peple should not exprience divinitey ah all. It iss not safe, you're not safe. I ahm doin ths to protec Dn, and Trixie, and everyone rily." She said, seemingly taking a break from whatever they were doing, but he couldn't understand half of it. It was all mumbled. He guessed it was because of the… well… you know.

Lucifer tried everything. He tried to call one of his siblings, tried to get away, but nothing seemed to work. At this point, he didn't have anything else to do, and there was nothing around him to help whatsoever. He was defenseless against her, or them really. He gave up trying to help himself. He then started to switch between his devil body, and his human one. He was losing control, which was bad because he hardly lost control of his forms.

Lucifer just laid against the side of the couch, hoping he would be a little comfortable, and he didn't dare to look at Chloe, resting his eyes when he knew he would never be able to find a comfortable spot before his very unexpected, and pretty painful death. They were still doing the ceremony.

He memorized it though, well kind of. It was more, what they were doing compared to what they were saying. It was a ceremony where he was to stay in Hell, or so he heard. He didn't get much details, but he had heard God and some of his siblings talking about it.

Amenadiel even threatened to use it once upon a time. Chloe backed up a little bit, avoiding eye contact with him, seeming to know what was going to happen to Lucifer, which made Lucifer confused.

The person had seen his angel wings out, and Lucifer knew what he was going to do, but he couldn't find out why. He cut off his wings, not even caring if it hurt him, because it really hurt. Even though he had cut them off multiple times, it didn't stop the pain he felt. Lucifer was kind of tearing up, as only one of his wings had been cut off.

"Oh bloody hell." He whispered, ever so slightly drawing the Detective's attention, as he felt himself drifting off, feeling very close to home now, Hell.

Next thing he knew he was in…

Wait, what is this? Lucifer thought.
