Chapter 23: Hades' Persistence

"Spin Nemesis." Rago demanded. "Blow that barrier apart now." he channeled more power to Nemesis.

"Not happening." Ginga snapped, the Four Seasonal Legendary Bladers focused their power on enforcing the barrier.

"No way." Rago gaped in horror when Nemesis was encased in an golden energy sphere. "Nemesis, no!"

"Not true." Pluto was in denial. "The prophecy of King Hades... our grand plans are ruined."

"It's too dangerous here now." Aguma warned, the temple was beginning to collapse.

Summoning Asteria's Astrolabe, Seina encased everyone in an energy sphere and transported the group out.

"This is just impossible." Rago growled, the group vanishing from sight. "I can't lose. How could they beat me? It cannot be!" he swore, just as the ground crumbled under his feet.

"You won't get away with this, Legendary Bladers." Pluto promised. "King Hades' prophecy is the law. Nemesis cannot be defeated like this."

Outside...

With Nemesis sealed away, the darkened skies cleared and the world-wide catastrophes finally stopped.

"The sky is cleared completely." Yuki gawked at the beaming sunlight. "It's thanks to Mr. Ginga and the other Legendary Bladers of the Four Seasons who completed Zeus' Barrier in the end."

"No, it isn't." Ginga corrected. "This victory was won by all of us working together. What counts is that we won."

"Look, helicopters." Kenta heard the whirl of several helicopter motors.

"Hey, Seina, Ginga!" Ryūsei waved to his children.

"Let's go back, everyone." Ginga told the group. "Back into the world where the future we protected awaits."

"This is not possible." Pluto hissed, Nemesis' dark power was pulsing from underground. "It's not over yet. Don't think we'll let it end like this!" the sudden surge of power erupted from the newly-formed hole in the ground.

"Is that..." Ginga gaped in shock when Nemesis Bey emerged from the hole.

"Nemesis?" Yuki exclaimed.

"Pluto." Seina snarled, realizing what had happened.

"The new light will become a new pit of darkness." the possessed Pluto recited. "When that happens, the true destruction will begin. King Hades' prophecy is the law. Until this world has been turned to darkness, we will not be destroyed."

"Zeus' Barrier was completed." even Dynamis was puzzled. "The God of Destruction should be sealed away."

"A piece of Firefuse Darkhelm made a small hole in the Zeus' Barrier." Pluto declared. "We pushed through that hole to come back into the world again. This time, the world will be completely covered by the Black Sun." he swore and expanded his dark power at the battered group.

"Why are you so determined to destroy our world?" Ginga demanded.

"Though I take Rago's form, I'm not truly Rago." Nemesis answered. "I am the one who will destroy this world and turn it into darkness. I am the God of Destruction."

"We will not allow you to destroy the world." Masamune retorted.

"If we do not defeat him right here and now, the world may end." Tsubasa glared.

"We just have to do it right now." Ginga growled.

"But you don't have any strength left to fight with." Nemesis mocked. "Fools." he laughed at Masamune's and King's half-hearted attempts. "What do you think you can do with Beys like those? Nemesis." he sent out dark replicas of everyone's Bey Spirits, effectively destroying Anubius, Jupiter, Libra and Eagle in the first wave. "This time, the world will end." he reignited Nemesis' power to cover the entire world in darkness and summon the Black Sun down towards Earth. "King Hades' prophecy has become a reality at last. The God of Destruction will destroy this world and bring about an age of darkness. It's no use, worms." he taunted, Ginga, Aguma and Tithi sending their Beys in for a second attack and sent out dark clones of Pegasus, Kronos and Quetzalcoatl to counter the attack.

Chris took the opening and had Orion launch an attack, only to be blown back.

"Why don't you worms understand that it is useless?" Nemesis snarled, King and Kyoya launching the third wave of attack, retaliating with dark replicas of Variares and Leone and causing both heavy hitters to be thrown back. "Now, just sit there and watch like good worms as the world is destroyed.

"Not yet." Kenta dashed into the fray. "Don't forget about me."

"You too." Nemesis sent out a dark version of L-Drago to attack Sagittario and taking out the young Blader with one blow. "Looks like this is as far as you go. Very soon, the world will be completely covered by the darkness of the Black Sun. And that will be your end. The future that King Hades desired will come to this world. You still want to battle?" he noticed Ginga's determined eyes.

"Ginga." Kyoya voiced, Ginga was prepared to take on Nemesis' Bey. "Take the spirit of the Lion with you."

"Everything started for me on that day, when I first met you." Kenta added. "Sagittario can no longer spin. Take the spirit of Ryuga's L-Drago along with my Sagittario."

"What is it, Jupiter?" Dynamis noticed his Bey started glowing.

"Kronos?" Aguma looked at his Face Bolt that had also lit up.

"Anubius?" Yuki blinked.

"Variares, what's going on?" King wondered.

"Quetzalcoatl is..." Tithi panicked.

"Could it be...?" Dynamis breathed in realization, the five Star Fragment energies from the Solar System Beys encircled Seina. "I didn't think the legend is true..."

"Mr. Dynamis?" Yuki was confused.

"Lady Asteria's Divine Armor." Dynamis replied.

"The Kamui Robe." Yuki recited from memory. "At the beginning, the God of the Forge, Hephaestus, created divine armors for the Olympian Gods to don into battle. Then..."

"Yes." Dynamis nodded. "This is the first time she's brought it out into battle." he watched as Seina donned on her milky-silver armor, complete with her 'Star's Demise' Divine Sword in hand.

Everyone's feelings... Ginga sent in the rejuvenated Pegasus back into battle as Asteria took to the skies, charging up her Divine Sword. Everyone's power... I will not let them go to waste.

"You dare to stand up to me again?" Nemesis snarled at the two siblings. "Fools!"
