"Last time on Total Drama Hawaiian Resort…" Alexis began the famous recap. "Chris took a day off, and I hosted the challenge, which was an intense cooking challenge. Our teams worked their butts off, but in the end, it was the Peacocks who won, while the Flamingos had to face the pressure test. Joseph chose Lucille to be immune from the pressure test, in which they had to cook a sausage dish from scratch. In the end though, it was time to say goodbye to the magician Christopher, who was able to share a sweet moment with his new girlfriend, Jerusha before leaving. With 15 contestants left, who will be the next to fall? Find out, on this episode of Total! Drama! Hawaiian Resort!"

Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,

You guys are on my mind.

You asked me what I wanted to be

and now I think the answer is plain to see,

I wanna be famous.

I wanna live close to the sun,

Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,

Everything to prove, nothing in my way

I'll get there one day.

Cause, I wanna be famous!

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na! (as can be heard in the background)

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

(Whistling in tune)

Episode 8: Face Your Fears!

Fantastic Flamingos; Lucille and Jerusha

The wheelchair-bound girl yawned and stretched her arms over her head as she woke up to the sun rising in the sky. "What a beautiful morning, isn't it?"

"Yeah… it looks nice." Jerusha yawned. "What's got you in such a good mood this morning?"

"I got to spend some time with Joseph last night," Lucille replied.

"Oh? And how did it go? Did you tell him how you feel?"

"I did," Lucille nodded. "He didn't give me a proper answer to my confession though…"

"I see… but it sounds like you enjoyed the time you spent with him though."

"I did, it was nice." Lucille smiled.

"Then I guess that's all that really matters. He can give you an actual answer when he feels ready! But don't forget to turn up the charm once in a while!"

"I've never done that before…" Lucille admitted.

"Well, if he likes you already then just keep doing what you're doing!"

Lucille blushed, nodding. "I'll do so!"

Abigail and Fernando; Dining Hall

The former child star was eating a breakfast consisting of pancakes with fruit with the male model.

"What a wonderful morning this is, and I get to start it with a nice sunrise and a ray of sunshine by my side!" Fernando exclaimed.

"Oh stop! You're making me blush!" Abigail let out, giggling, while her cheeks flushed red.

"Blushing only makes you look more beautiful my dear!"

The former child star blushed again, turning to look at Fernando. "You sure do know a way to a woman's heart."

"Well, I try!" The model said, giving the girl a wink as he put his arm around her.

Abigail leaned into his embrace, smiling while not seeing Dante enter the room, his eyes returning to normal for a brief moment before turning back to Damiano's diamond shaped eyes.

*Confessionals*

Abigail: "Fernando is just the sweetest! I think I'm falling for him more and more!"

*static*

Fernando: "I effectively have Abigail in the palm of my hand. As much as I would like to kiss her now, I need to focus on figuring out how I can take Joseph down and get to the bottom of what's up with Dante. Plus, stringing Abigail along is admittedly too much fun."

*static*

Damiano: "Tch, the sight of that girl put Dante back in control for just a second. Don't tell me his crush on her is that strong! Gross… I need to keep as much distance as I can from her to make sure I don't go back."

End Confessionals

"You're seriously going to have them face their worst fears?" Alexis let out. "That's inhumane!"

"Hey, we did it once before." Chris shrugged. "Besides, facing your fears builds character!"

"Ugh…fine. But just don't go too crazy…especially with that vulture…" the young chef shivered a bit.

"Am I gonna have to dress up in that stupid spider suit again?" Chef asked.

"No, uncle, not this time." Alexis let out. "Thankfully."

"Only Shauna fears spiders, but judging by the stuff I saw in the boxes of supplies for this challenge, I think we'll be wearing stuff that's much worse…" Johan sighed, Chef gave a heavy sigh as he brought a hand to his head in frustration.

"Don't say that…" He groaned.

"Well, let's get this done and over with," Alexis sighed. She would go over to the loudspeaker. "Attention campers! It's time to face your biggest fears! Rebekah, we'll be starting off with you! Meet us down at the beach! You're going for the ride of your lifetime!"

Upon hearing the announcement, the tomboy went pale. "Oh no…not horses!"

"Seriously? Horses?" Butch chuckled as he saw the uneasy look on Rebekah's face.

"You try being nearly trampled by one when you're six years old!" the tomboy glared at the brute. She was currently dressed in proper riding gear, along with a helmet watching as Johan and Alexis were tacking the horse up. "I was traumatized for a long time!"

"Let's not and say I did." The brute replied.

"Alright, Rebekah." Chris began. "To earn a point for your team you'll have to race one lap around the island while Buttercup here is running at top speed. Think you can hold out for that long?"

"I'll keep my grip tight while thinking of ways to strangle you," the tomboy replied, glaring at the host, who simply gave her a sly grin.

"Ready?" He asked.

Rebekah sighed, and got on the horse, grabbing the reins. "Let's get this over with."

"Alright, and… go!"

Rebekah screamed a bunch of curse words as Buttercup took off at top speed, but the tomboy kept her balance.

"Well, while Rebekah abuses the censors, let's move on to our next victim!"

Lucille was muttering under her breath, squeezing her hands tightly, while shaking a bit and silently praying she wasn't next.

"...CAW!" Chris let out.

Lucille screamed, hiding her head in her hands, completely terrified.

"HAHAHAHAHA!" Chris hollered, getting death glares from everyone. "I think we have our next player! Bring in the birds!"

Lucille was still terrified, shaking in her wheelchair.

"Poor Lucille…" Abigail let out, looking over at Joseph, who was still glaring daggers at Chris.

"I think she might need some comfort before she begins…" Abigail sighed, glancing over as the wheelchair-bound girl was still shaking in fear. The team captain placed a firm hand on her shoulder and looked her in the eyes.

"You've got this." He said simply.

"Are you sure?" Lucille asked quietly, with tears streaming in her eyes.

"Positive."

Alexis would bring out a vulture, which looked very intimidating as it pecked at its feathers. "All you have to do is let the vulture stay on your arm for 5 minutes," she instructed.

"Okay…" Lucille let out quietly, as she was given the protective glove to wear. As soon as the glove was on, the young chef would give her the vulture.

"Nice…vulture…" Lucille let out, very uneasy.

"Alright, that's two fear challenges that might take a while so let's move on to one that should be more quick. Shauna! You have a friend waiting for you!" Chris proclaimed. The young dancer felt like her skin would change from a deep tan to stark white with how cold her blood turned. It only felt worse when she saw Johan approaching with a tarantula in a cage. As she looked into the eight eyes of the arachnid looking at her, her heart began to race. She almost thought it would stop completely when she heard what sounded like a hiss come from it.

"Alright Shauna, all you need to do is-" Chris could barely get his statement out when Shauna screamed at the top of her lungs and ran back into the resort, shockingly not tripping over herself on the way. The immediate sound startled the vulture, which began ruffling its feathers while still resting on Lucille's glove. The handicapped girl looked like she was about to scream as well but remained perfectly still, perhaps out of sheer terror, as Johan and Alexis worked to calm the bird down.

"Well…" Chris continued. "I guess that means the Peacocks don't get the point this time! Our next victim will be…Fernando! Time for you to wear the ugly wig!"

The model's face grew pale as he slowly backed away, only stopping when he saw Brittany and Joseph glaring daggers at him.

Chris would give him the ugly wig to put on. "You'll have to wear this for the rest of the day in order to get the point! If you take it off, then you don't get the point! So, what's it gonna be? Are you going to wear the wig? Or do you refuse, and risk being voted off by your team?"

"Ugh, fine, give it here…" Fernando grumbled, begrudgingly putting the gaudy pink wig on.

Abigail smiled a little. "You look good in pink," she complimented.

"Thank you for trying to cheer me up, but this… is going to be a long day!"

"Dante! Time to go and be alone in the woods!" Chris would announce. "You'll have to spend 2 hours in there without leaving the area we've marked for you!"

Surprisingly, Damiano simply shrugged in indifference, earning an impressed look from the captain.

"Let's see…" Chris looked at his list, after Alexis and Johan had gotten the vulture to calm down. "Butch! Ready to go for a swim?"

"Not really, but after Twinkletoes bailed on us, I don't really have much of a choice now, do I?"

"Nope!" Chris gave his sadistic grin.

Chris had the interns set up a large glass tank for Butch to climb in by the beach. The brute took several deep breaths as he climbed in, his eyes widening and his face growing pale as he watched Chef close the hatch and push the tank into the ocean water.

"Oh boy…" Abigail shivered. "That's not good…"

"You only have to stay in the tank for 15 minutes!" Chris grinned, though Butch wasn't even able to see or hear him nor the timer the host had set up on the beach as the tank slowly sank to the bottom. Gulping in fear and with his palms now sweating, Butch shut his eyes tightly to try and ignore the sounds of the water around him, the light from above just barely able to reach him.

"Well, it'll be a while before our special guest arrives. So for now, let's move on to someone who has a fear that we can take advantage of right away. Isn't that right, Demetrius?"

Demetrius paled a bit, before clearing his throat. "Fine. Let's get this over with."

"And Lucille earns the Flamingos their first point!" Alexis announced, as five minutes had passed from the time the vulture was given to the handicapped girl, who was relieved as it was taken away from her.

"Oh thank goodness…" Lucille let out. Chef chuckled deviously as he walked over to Demetrius, a small cage in the large man's hands, within the cage was a scorpion, its eyes as beady and small as the tarantula that terrified Shauna.

Demetrius took a deep breath. "I can do this… I can do this…"

"You'll have to hold the scorpion in your hands for 90 seconds," Chris instructed.

"Give it," Demetrius said coolly. He wanted to show that he could pass his fear, and still be the evil mastermind. Alexis took a pair of tongs and carefully took the scorpion out of the cage, giving it to the man, who silently began to count to 90 in his head.

"Antonio! Time to hug a rattlesnake!" Chris exclaimed gleefully, as the soccer player paled at this. Alexis herself looked rather uneasy handling the large snake before the serpent raised its head to look at the cast. Antonio hesitantly stepped forward and held his arm out towards the snake.

"While Antonio is with the rattlesnake, let's move onto another fear! Ilyria! You have to tightrope across lava!"

"Oh, bloody hell!" the spy let out.

Chris led the remaining contestants to the top of a volcano on an island a bit further away from the resort. Demetrius and Antonio were now free of their animal fears, scoring points for the Peacocks.

"Well, let's get this over with," Ilyria let out, as she would carefully get onto the tightrope. It was wobbly at first, but the spy took a deep breath, slowly walking across it. She would manage to make it across the tightrope, earning another point for the Peacocks.

"Oh no, we're trailing…" Abigail let out, worried.

"We have the numerical advantage." Walter stated. "Even if Shauna couldn't conquer her fear, the worst that could happen is a tie."

"Abigail Phillippa Prior-Chauncey the Fourth! Time for you to spend some time with a wolf!" The host would let out.

The former child star began trembling at this. "Nope, nope, nope! I can't do it!"

"We need this point." Joseph commented.

"I'm sorry! Wolves terrify me, and I can't help it!" she sobbed before feeling a rather stiff, yet comforting hand on her shoulder. As she turned her head she saw Damiano looking back at her with the softest smile he could muster.

"You've got this." He said.

Abigail gulped. "Okay…I'll try."

*Confessional*

Damiano: "Ugh, as much as I hate playing nice, I do need to keep up appearances."

*End Confessional*

A wolf cub would be brought out for Abigail, who was shaking in fear.

"Abigail Phillippa Prior-Chauncey the Fourth, you've got to pet the wolf cub," Chris instructed.

"Think of the wolf cub as if it were a puppy!" Lucille tried to encourage the former child star, who nodded, and would pet the wolf cub, earning the Flamingos their second point.

"See? Easy! Now we should probably go check on Butch, his time should be just about up by now."

"Before we do that, Joseph, are you ready to face your fear?" Alexis asked. The Flamingo captain's eye twitched before he begrudgingly nodded.

"You've got this," Lucille looked at Joseph.

"Just tell me what I have to do."

"You'll have to remain on your own, and survive against creatures for the rest of the challenge. Think you can handle it?" Chris asked.

"I have to." Joseph replied, cracking his knuckles.

"Okay, everyone else, let's head back to the resort!" Chris let out gleefully. Lucille would look over at Joseph, giving him a reassuring smile. "See you after the challenge," she said.

"Yeah, see you."

When they left, Sasquatchanakwa would pop up to try and scare the tribal chief with a mighty roar. The young man turned to look at the beast as he stood his ground…

*Confessional*

Lucille: "I really hope we can win…I don't want to lose another challenge…and I also hope that I can spend some more time with Joseph."

*End Confessional*

Rebekah would soon rejoin the others, having passed her fear as they got back down to the beach to grab Butch from the crate he was put into. Brittany meanwhile would fail her fear, which got the mob boss very mad.

"Damn it McLean, if you ever do that again I'll-!" Butch snapped as he stepped out of the glass case.

"Well, you've earned a point for your team!" Chris grinned sadistically. "Walter! You're up next! You'll have to remain in the same spot where Dante was earlier for the same amount of time!"

"I see." The soldier nodded. "I… I'm ready."

The soldier would be led by both Alexis and Johan to the woods.

"Huh, didn't think we'd get through this challenge so fast." Chris mused. "Either way; Lin! You have a special guest waiting for you in the hotel!"

The small woman grimaced as her face grew just a tad bit more pale.

"You can do this, Lin," Ilyria said, putting her hand on the smaller girl's shoulder. "Whatever you're scared of, it can't be that bad, right?"

"Is… Is everyone going to be watching?" Lin asked.

"No," Alexis said. "I've made sure of it. You can have one of your teammates with you for support, if you want."

"Hold up, so we all have our deepest fears get broadcasted to everyone watching and everyone here, but she has to do her's in private?" Brittany asked.

"Apparently, it's very personal for Lin," Alexis said in a deadpan voice. "And I made sure that McLean won't air it. Right?" she looked at the host.

"That depends on what exactly happens. If it's not too bad then we can air it."

"Anyway, Lin. Are you ready to go in alone, or with a teammate?" Alexis asked the smaller girl.

"...I'll do this by myself."

"Very well. Go right on in," Alexis said. "All you need to do is sit with her for five minutes."

"Her?" Ilyria asked, a bit confused. Chef brought Lin over to a spare office in the lobby of the hotel that had a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on it.

"Five minutes…" The Street girl repeated to herself as she reached for the doorknob with a trembling hand before opening it and walking inside. The room was mostly empty except for a rather sizable table with two chairs at both ends. At the end of the table was a middle aged woman with long, brown hair with bags under her eyes. She wore a long sleeved olive green shirt and blue jeans with old sneakers. Lin coughed a bit and didn't look surprised in the slightest to see the woman smoking, the faint smell of alcohol on her made her scowl even more as she sat in the empty chair.

"What, no 'hi' for your ma?" The woman greeted.

"Frankly, I don't even think you deserve that. Not after what you did to me, after what you did to Dad!"

The older woman simply rolled her eyes.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Lin snapped. "I would have thought that maybe, just maybe, you would have changed just a little bit after the divorce. But no, you're just as bad as you've always been!"

"Oh, Honey, are you still blaming me?"

"No, no no no, none of that!" Lin practically screamed, tears already rolling down her face. "Dad and I still have scars and you're not going to gaslight me into thinking it's because of him. Do you have any idea what he's been through since then? What I'VE been through since then?!"

"From the looks of it, you're doing pretty well for yourself. You're on tv on a game show trying to win a million dollars. What's a few cuts and scrapes? Even if this game you're in just started I know you'll be fine. It's in our blood to go far."

"I… I don't even know what to say to you anymore… I couldn't even stand being in that house even after you got kicked out. Have you ever lived on the streets before? The things I had to see and do while I was out of the house. Even after Dad got married again I couldn't even look at that other woman because all I could ever think about was how badly you messed us up mentally, not that that woman's any better. But you… I can't believe I'm related to you!"

Lin buried her face in her hands and broke out into sobs as her mother simply looked on and took a long drag of her cigarette. Once the stick was completely burned to ashes, she snuffed it out and slowly walked over to her daughter and draped her arm over her shoulder.

"Oh honey… you see? You're more like me than you know! You'll be okay." Lin's mother said softly as she began digging her sharp nails into Lin's cheek. In a swift motion, the teenager shoves her mother off of her.

"DON'T TOUCH ME!" She screamed, grabbing at her chair and lifting it up as a makeshift shield/weapon. The two were silent for a moment before a soft ding was heard.

"And that's time!" Chris announced. "Lin, you've scored a point for your team!" The sound of heavy footsteps caught the attention of everyone outside of the room as they saw Walter rejoin the group with Johan and Alexis following him.

"He's done." Alexis said simply, giving Chris a thumbs up.

"And Walter scores another point for the Peacocks!"

The Street girl slowly backed away to the door, her eyes locked onto her mother as she reached for the doorknob and slowly set the chair down before rushing out of the room. The rest of the cast looked stunned at the sight of the red faced crying girl who had just stepped out of the room.

"Oh, Lin!" Ilyria let out, worried.

"I need a minute." The smaller girl replied, forcing her way past everyone and going into the elevator.

"Okay then, on that note… Jerusha! You're up!" Chris announced. The magician gulped a bit as her mind shifted to try and think of a way to deal with her newfound predicament.

"Uh… Chris, as a man who loves drama, I have a proposition for you!"

"Oh? And what's that?" Chris asked, an eyebrow raised in intrigue.

"I'm the last person to go, right? Well, Fernando and Joseph are still technically facing their fears. How about, if all three of us manage to succeed, our team automatically wins! We're behind on numbers so that makes us the underdogs, and the audience loves an underdog victory!"

"That is true…" Chris mused. "How about I give the three of you double points as well?"

"And what if they were to fail?" Walter asked.

"Then… I'll get eliminated on the spot. No vote necessary."

"Jerusha! You're willing to quit?" Abigail let out, shocked.

"It's risky, but if it gets us the win then I'm willing to do it." The magician nodded.

"Alright then! I accept the deal!" Chris let out. "Everyone, to the auditorium!"

At the auditorium…

"Well, Jerusha? Are you ready to face your fear?" Chris asked the magician. Despite her trembling figure, Jerusha nodded.

"I'm r-ready!"

"Then here's what you'll do. Do the most basic performance possible and we're going to boo you." Chris explained.

"That's it? That's what she's scared of?!" Butch replied.

"And we'll also be pelting you with rotten tomatoes!"

"Oh dear, I don't like this!" Lucille let out.

"Well, there's no turning back." Jerusha gulped. "Let's do this!" The macabre magician hurried onto the stage and took one last deep breath before facing the audience.

Jerusha took out a deck of cards and shuffled them using a variety of different techniques including an over-the-head shuffle before she slammed her open hands together, causing the cards to disappear before opening her arms and releasing a bat onto the auditorium. The winged mammal flew around the stage for a bit before perching on the rafters.

"Ew ew ew!" Abigail screeched. "Bats are my second worst fear!"

"Y'know, that was actually kinda cool." Butch chuckled.

"You're supposed to be booing her!" Chris groaned as he grabbed a tomato. "BOO, YOU STINK!"

Chef soon joined his friend in the jeering, his niece giving the man a frustrated look before relenting and joining in as she and Johan begrudgingly began throwing tomatoes.

Lucille frowned as she threw a tomato at Jerusha, feeling incredibly guilty. "I'm sorry!" she yelled.

"It's ok!" Jerusha assured as several tomatoes landed at her feet, one hitting her square in the chest which made Walter look away with a hint of guilt. Brittany and Demetrius seemed to have much less guilt though as they lobbed some of the rotten fruit. Fernando grabbed a tomato and flung it as quickly as he could, looking more upset with touching the rotten thing than Jerusha's situation.

Abigail quickly threw a tomato as well, before apologizing as well, quickly turning her head as she could not bear to look. She wasn't sure if she was seeing things, however, when she saw Damiano throw a tomato with a hint of a smirk on his face, confusing her immensely.

"Alright, well, we've run out of tomatoes so I guess Jerusha passes which means the Flamingos win!"

"YES!" Lucille cheered, smiling at her team.

"We did it!" Abigail smiled at Fernando, who draped an arm over her shoulder as he looked at Chris.

"Does this mean I can take this disgusting wig off now?"

"Yes, you can," Chris replied.

"Thank the heavens!" The model whooped as he ripped the pink hair off.

"We'll pick up Joseph and let him know his team won the challenge. Team Peacock, time to let a member of your flock go!"

Rebekah sighed, glancing at her team, already deciding on who she wanted to vote for.

As the day continued, the Peacocks continued thinking of who their vote would go towards, with some having already decided.

"So… what are we doing in front of Lin and Terra's room?" Shauna asked.

"We have to check on her," Rebekah said. "She's our teammate, and friend."

Shauna was just about to knock on the door when it suddenly opened, courtesy of Terra.

"Oh, hi." She greeted.

"We need to talk to Lin," Ilyria said.

"She's still a bit testy after what happened, but sure." Terra answered, opening the door and allowing the three girls in. The four of them returned to see Lin, who had appeared to have calmed herself down.

"Lin? Are you okay?" Ilyria asked.

"Yeah… I'm good… I guess I just wasn't ready to see my mom again."

"She must have really hurt you if you were that upset." Shauna said, trying not to upset her teammate.

"She did." Lin began, standing up and walking over to the window. "She hurt my dad and I a lot." Wordlessly, Lin raised up her shirt to reveal her back to her teammates, revealing an array of different scars and burn wounds. "That's most of what she's done over the years. Most have healed. My dad divorced her years back and he's gotten remarried since, but I don't talk to my stepmom much, I don't trust her. I can't trust her."

"Bloody hell…" Ilyria let out, upset. "That's horrible, Lin."

"I can't believe you suffered so much," Rebekah said sadly.

"Yeah, well, I'm just glad she's gone."

"Did you want a hug?" Ilyria asked. Quietly, Lin approached Ilyria, accepting the hug which quickly turned into a group hug amongst all five of them.

"Oh Peacocks!" Chris announced. "It's time to vote!"

"Well, that's a moment killer…" Terra sighed.

"Come on. Let's go…" Rebekah let out.

Joseph and Lucille

"Jerusha literally put herself at risk today," Lucille let out, as she was with Joseph, the two were watching the sunset on the beach. "She was willing to leave without us voting for her if she failed!"

"So she stepped up. Good."

"I felt so guilty throwing those tomatoes…" Lucille looked down. "How did you manage your challenge?"

"Easy." Joseph smirked, showing the wheelchair-bound girl a ruffled looking tuft of purple fur.

"Oh my god…" Lucille let out. "You're so brave!"

"You have to be to survive."

"Yeah, that's true," Lucille nodded. "I was so terrified I was gonna lose my fear challenge…" she let out, glancing up at him.

"But you made it through. Just like I knew you could."

Lucille nodded. "Yeah. Thanks to your support."

"So… the merge is coming up soon."

"I know…I can't believe I've made it this far. I thought I would be a goner in the first few days," Lucille admitted. She was also thinking about his answer to her confession. "I actually think I might be able to make it to the end. Do you think I could make it to the end, Joseph?"

"I know that I can, it's just a matter of what happens before then."

"I was asking if you think I could make it to the end, you silly goose!" Lucille giggled, playfully elbowing him. The taller boy chuckled ever so slightly.

"Still, I think I can."

"You're hilarious," Lucille giggled, smiling. Her heart fluttered in her chest even more, as she gazed into his eyes. "You know…it's really nice spending time with you. You really do make me feel happy. I also wanted to know if you've thought about what I asked you…and if you don't have an answer yet, it's okay, I won't be mad."

Joseph stood up and placed a hand on Lucille's shoulder, looking down into her eyes.

"Well, the answer isn't no." He said before walking away.

"Really?" Lucille asked, following him as he went inside.

Fernando and Abigail

"I still can't believe we actually won!" Abigail let out, glancing at Fernando.

"Neither can I! I was fully expecting us to lose on technicality because of our numbers."

"I'm relieved that we were able to pull it off in the end. Now, I wonder who the Peacocks will eliminate…" the former child star let out.

"Quite honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it was that girl, Lin. She looked broken after her fear."

"But she got the point," Abigail pointed out. "I think it might be Shauna."

"Well, whoever they end up voting off, it makes things somewhat easier for us." Fernando noted.

"What do you mean by that? We still are down numbers wise," she let out. "We'd be down to 5 people if we lost the next challenge."

"True, but I think this may just be the beginning of our comeback, my dear!"

Abigail smiled as she glanced into his eyes. "Do you really think so?"

"Absolutely!"

Elimination Ceremony (Pretty Peacocks)

The votes were placed and counted, and the eight members of the Peacocks would soon be sitting, waiting for the elimination ceremony to begin.

"Well, this was an easy vote!" Chris would grin wickedly. "But I have to ask. Peacocks, what happened? You guys seemed like you were on a roll!"

"No idea," Rebekah scowled. "Just get on with it already."

"Yeah, no clue." Butch added with an overly-sarcastic tone, glaring at Chris. "If I were a betting man I'd say we just got unlucky."

"Okay, fine! Rebekah, Ilyria, Lin, Butch, Walter, Antonio and Demetrius! You're all safe!" Chris threw them all their s'mores. "Sorry, Shauna, looks like you're out!"

"I should have figured." The dancer sighed. "At least I wasn't one of the first few to go. Good luck to the rest of you!"

As Shauna began to walk over to the Pool for Fools, she tripped on herself one last time and landed right into the pool.

"Well, you guys are dismissed," Chris said to the Peacocks.

Ilyria and Butch

"Today was horrible," Ilyria let out as the Peacocks left the elimination area.

"Tell me about it. I never want to go into the ocean again!"

"Why are you so afraid of the ocean?" Ilyria glanced at the brute.

"Nearly drowned when I was six and went to the beach with my parents and baby brother. Couldn't stand deep water after that. What about you? A fear of lava seems pretty specific?"

"It's a long story," Ilyria sighed. "I nearly had my hair burned off by lava when I was tied upside down during a mission. It freaked me out so much, and despite being able to escape, I lost two strands of my hair due to the lava."

"Well, that's definitely intense."

"It is," Ilyria nodded.

"So what do we do now? In the game, I mean."

"I don't know," Ilyria let out. "Our kiss…did it mean anything to you?"

"Where did that come from?! Y'know what, nevermind. I thought you did it to shut me up?" Butch raised an eyebrow.

"I also find you attractive. Is that so wrong?" the spy asked.

"Fallen for the ol' Butch charm, eh? Not surprising."

Ilyria playfully rolled her eyes. "So?"

"So… what?"

"Did it mean anything to you?" Ilyria asked.

"I think it means we're together now?"

"You need to ask me properly, you wanker," Ilyria elbowed him.

"Fine! Will you go out with me?" Butch playfully groaned.

"Yes," Ilyria would smile at him. The two took each other's hands as they headed back inside.

Walter and Demetrius

"So…that was an interesting ceremony," Demetrius let out, in a Russian accent.

"Yes, Master." The hypnotized soldier responded.

"You don't have to be so blank while you're under my control," Demetrius rolled his eyes.

"Just awaiting your command, sir."

"Well then, I suppose we can work on getting that wheelchair from Lucille…it'll be a good thing for my plan to take over the world."

"How so?"

"Well, we have to find a way to get her out of the chair. And by doing so, she'll be so weak, her team will have no choice but to eliminate her! Then, we can break apart the wheelchair, and use it to build my ray gun!" Demetrius let out.

"Brilliant, sir!"

"And we need to drive her and Joseph apart somehow…they're getting too close to one another for my liking…"

"Joseph and I have similar physiques. If it comes down to it, I can hold him off so you can finish your plan unimpeded."

"Excellent," Demetrius grinned. "Soon, I'll rule the world! And nothing can get in my way! For now…we should check on Butch, and see how his progress is with that spy."

"From what I heard after the ceremony, it seems to be going well."

"Excellent. Make sure he continues to woo her," Demetrius smirked. "She can't stop me. But perhaps you can also drive a wedge between Joseph and Lucille?"

"It may prove challenging, but I shall try."

"Good," Demetrius smirked.

Unknown to the two, Antonio overheard this, and he was wide-eyed. "Oh…my god…Demetrius is evil! I need to tell Butch, and fast!" He would hurry back to his room to tell his roommate, unaware that the brute was also under the control of the hypnotist…

"Well, that's a twist I didn't expect!" Alexis let out, as she was with Chris, ready to give the famous outro.

"You got that right! Oh man this season just keeps getting better and better with the drama! With Shauna's elimination we're down to just fourteen contestants left! Can some of the players bounce back from their mental and emotional traumas? Can the Peacocks come back from this defeat or will the Flamingos even things back up?"

"Will Demetrius ever be stopped?" Alexis asked. "Find out on the next incredible episode of…Total! Drama! HAWAIIAN RESORT!"

LaViolaViolaRosa: And thus, another chapter is complete!

Allureon: Yup! And now that we're in the 2nd quarter, things are only going to get more intense from here!

LaViolaViolaRosa: In the next chapter…Special guests will come to the island and sing part of a song that relates somehow to a contestant still in the game. The Cast must guess the correct contestant, correct guesses receive a point and the team with the highest score wins. This should be an interesting challenge indeed. See you in the next update!
