Only so many times that you can set the scene and show that once more the Loud family and guests were gathered together in the living room of the Loud House to watch the latest Total Drama Action episode. "See what Ms CIT pulls with our brother this time..." Lynn Jr then said as there was frowning from the Loud parents and grandparents who did want to give some benefit of the doubt to Courtney's intentions with some but most of them were nodding along with her.
"Like what is said; can only go so far before she is permanently soured to us or to me at least." Ronnie Anne said as there was sighing from the Loud parents.
"Well let's see and hope for the best... Keep our minds off it and think that if our Lincoln survives this episode then he is that much closer to winning with so few contestants left." Myrtle said and they beamed at the reminder and decided to focus on that for now.
"Come on Lincoln!" Lily then cheered to smiles and laughs and they did so as well.
Instead of Chris; there was a shot of Sammy smiling at the lot who giggled before saying "Last time on Total Drama Action..."
There was blinks and then looks of confusion at this. "Uh... Why is Sammy giving the recap this time?" Bobby decided to ask as they then just kept watching.
Then there was clips of the previous episode as Sammy then continued "it was the time of spandex clad heroes as it was superhero movie day with the contestants asked to create their own superhero identities and costumes and enthusiastic megafan of superheroes Lincoln looked good in his own work but Chris decided to be a jerk and make him lose points because of his eyepatch making him look like a bad guy. He looks good even with it if you ask me. Anyway Courtney ended up winning after all and it was DJ who was out this time; having the worst performance of the final part of the challenge." Then there was a shot of Sammy at the lot again as she put her arms up and riight elbow extended so that her foto on her other knee as she said "who is it going down the Walk of Shame this time? Will Lincoln get a break after what had happened the last episode? Why am I giving the recap this episode and not Chris? All this and more will be revealed on the latest episode of... Total... Drama... Action!"
"If there was any way to get our attention in the recap to make sure that we have to watch the episode besides Lincoln being in it then it would be this..." Lori said with no one disagreeing with this.
The opening is shown.
The next morning Lincoln groaned as he was awakened but ended up screaming as he noticed that he was tied to a pole on a wooden ship with Courtney and Gwen which woke them up and on another pole there was Zoey, Bridgette and Brady who were awakened and screamed.
"Just when I thought that they pulled off everything on the show..." Lynn Sr said as their eyes widened and shook their heads.
"What is going on... Were we abducted in our beds..." Courtney screamed trying in vain to get loose.
"If only Ezekiel was still here and had his switchblade with him..." groaned Lincoln shaking his head.
"Just wow... Forcing me to wish that Homeschool was still there... Damn you Chris for whatever you just pulled..." Ronnie Anne then grunted with some reluctant nods.
"Why are we here... Who could have done this..." Bridgette screamed as Gwen looked frustrated as she was visibly angry.
"Who do you think? Chris probably took us here for whatever today's challenge is..." Gwen then said with a hint of sarcasm to her rhetorical question.
"Even Leni could have realised that." Lisa then said as Leni beamed but LIsa but looks of disapproval from the insult that her statement actually was causing her give out a quick apology.
"Not good... Last time we were on a ship for a challenge; we crashed into the island and were hunted by a slasher..." Brady pointed out as he was trying to use his muscle to break free of the rope.
Gulped at this but then they were relieved.
"So is today's challenge pirate themed? Only pirate movie I have seen is Muppets Treasure Island..." Zoey said as Courtney managed to untie the knot in the ropes to free herself, Lincoln and Gwen and did the same to Zoey, Bridgette and Brady.
"Pirate movie... Just as I said! Lincoln is all set!" Luan pointed out with a smirk and laughs at this.
"CJ is going to like this, I bet..." Ronnie Anne said with Bobby nodding as they knew that their cousin was still into pirates.
"Pays off to be a a CIT!" Courtney bragged as swinging from a rope is Chris dressed as a pirate captain with a fake parrot on his shoulder. "Looks like you were right Zoey..." sighed Courtney as Chris grinned.
"Wait until Sergio sees that..." Ronnie Anne then snickered wondering what the parrot's reaction will be.
"Ahoy scallywags; today's challenge is pirate movie day! I see that Lincoln is already set!" Chris explained in a pirate accent and Lincoln just shook his head with his arms folded with Chris pointing to his eyepatch.
"Hey! He stole my joke!" Luan snapped to looks of amusement.
"Now you know how I felt when he stole the title of my Stormy Love Triangle song in a recap last season!" Luna then told her as Luan just grumbled.
"A swashbuckling obstacle course where the first one to save the damsel from Chef Scarybeard wins immunity!" Chris said showing them to the guard rails of the ship to see another ship where Chef had a cutlass and pointing to a plank where Sammy who was tied up and looking afraid as she looked down to see hungry sharks.
"Come on... Can't she get a break please..." Rita screamed as their eyes widened again and they became terrified and hoped that no one was in any danger from those sharks; especially not Lincoln.
"Uh Chef... When was the last time these sharks were fed..." Sammy asked afraid as Chris grinned and laughed evilly making her gulp.
"I just want to point out that Sammy will have to survive this unscathed to film that recap that we saw." Lisa pointed out to try and ease the tension which only helped a little bit.
"Imported rare and dangerous sharks these were... Cost quite a bit of moolah that we had to take out of the safety budget..." Chris laughed to the contestants.
Strong harsh glared at this; "That couldn't have been legal..." Albert then saif as Lisa didn't know as they all just kept getting angrier and angrier at the host.
They were open mouthed shocked and Bridgette shouted out "SAMMY!" She then looked furious at Chris and snapped at him saying "this is cruel and unusual punishment! This is beyond unacceptable and I can't believe that I ever thought that you were cool! You are just a heartless sadistic monster with little empathy!"
"Another shocking discovery for you Bridgette... The water underneath that ship is wet!" Lynn Jr then said sarcastically as she then got looks.
"She never expected Chris to be like this despite having seen the last season?" Ronnie Anne asked.
"Has that only occurred to her now? After all we had experienced and if she is as a big fan of the show as she claimed then she must have seen the last season right?" Gwen asked in the confessional.
Ronnie Anne then nodded; "Only complete idiots would want to audition for this season after seeing the first one..." Ronnie Anne then said as there were giggles.
"Don't worry... We won't tell Sid that you said that..." Luan then said as Ronnie Anne glared at her.
"I know but don't worry I have this shark repellent for you all that came with my costume that I used yesterday!" Chris laughed as he took out a spray and then sprayed them causing them to cough.
"I am surprised that we didn't feel the planet shaking from Adam West spinning in his grave from that monster referencing his work..." Albert then said as he got looks from the confused non adults in the audience there.
"Anyway your obstacles are to go to the poop decks and get a cutlass. Then climb up on the mast and swing down on the ropes to the cannon. Fire yourselves out to the other ship and then duel Chef Scarybeard to save the damsel before she walks the plank!" Chris said as he pointed to the toilets making them gulp.
Much disgusted groans at this besides Lana; "Mum... We won't have to do something like that when we are on that Race show next year... Right..." Lola pleaded with Rita and she didn't have an answer for her.
"So up for us 2 being a small crew?" Courtney asked Lincoln as he gave a thumbs up causing Gwen to frown but Bridgette shook her head as she ran to the end of the ship.
Some sceptical looks but then confused looks.
"I am not going to go along with this! I am going to save Sammy now!" Bridgette snapped jumping down to their shock and swimming to the water as she swam around the sharks.
They were now speechless at this; "She is quite possibly the bravest girl ever or the most stupid idiotic girl ever... Whichever one, she is then I don't know..." Lori then said as they became quite terrified at this.
"I think we all could use a friend who would do this for us like Bridgette to Sammy..." Sam then said and they had to agree with that.
"She is probably the bravest and most heroic of us all..." Lincoln muttered as Chris shook her head.
Some managed to nod at Lincoln.
"To bad that she has gotten herself disqualified and so... On your marks... Get set... Go!" Chris said making them hesitant but looking over and saw Bridgette looking up to them and and gave them a thumbs up caused them to go ahead to the toilets.
Some slightly relieved looks but strong glares at Chris; "Can someone please feed him to the sharks?" Lynn Jr pleaded and some took satisfaction with that mental image.
They stopped at the smell that was coming from the toilets; "I can handle it... A lot of stink at my house..." Lincoln said and Courtney grinned.
Giggles from the Loud family members at this.
"You can handle that for us and I can focus on the swashbuckling while you then save Sammy!" Courtney told him and he grinned as he went into the toilets with his fingers holding onto his nose.
"...Wow get him to do the worst parts..." Lori then said as Luan then thought of something.
"But going with that plan then it means that Lincoln gets immunity right?" Luan said as their eyes widened at that.
"Provided that she doesn't try any tricks with him about this plan... This scores some points for her in my book..." Ronnie Anne then said as some nodded.
Brady, Gwen and Zoey were hesitant about going in yet but gave Courtney looks; "Kind of looks like that Lincoln is your first mate and not your equal crewmember..." Gwen stated before going in with Zoey as Lincoln got out with swords for him and Courtney as they then ran.
They wondered how their confrontation would go and Ronnie Anne held back a snicker.
"Who does Gwen think she is to claim that? We are a team and teams use their strengths to their advantage; it just so happens that I am coming up with most of the strategies and Lincoln chooses to go along with them." Courtney said with her arms folded in the confessional glaring at the camera.
"Yea Lincoln could be sticking up more and showing a bit more backbone in this..." Lynn Jr then said with some of the sisters nodding.
"Please don't talk about your brother like that!" Lynn Sr told them but he and Rita along with Albert and Myrtle did agree with the sentiment that he could stick up more for himself to not just go along with all of what Courtney says to do.
Courtney got up onto the mast first and Lincoln was barely hanging on and Courtney gave him a hand to help him up. "So was the smell not that bad Lincoln?" Courtney decided to ask as Lincoln laughed.
"Are you kidding; I was expecting worst... Compared to the bathrooms back home after Lynn or Lana used it; by comparison the toilets in there were more like sweet perfume..." Lincoln answered as they swung down together.
"HEY!" Lynn Jr snapped as there were laughs from the Loud sisters and some of their guests as Lana didn't mind at all.
"I know my family is watching back home and that my sisters and parents will back me up on that..." Lincoln said confidently in the confessional.
There were looks to the Loud family and the sisters and parents ended up nodding with Lynn Jr just glaring with her arms folded silently.
They swooped down to the cannons and looked hesitant; "I can give it a go first..." Lincoln muttered as Courtney eagerly helped him inside and aimed the cannon and fired with him yelling. Gwen came over and glared at Courtney as she looked at her.
Eyes widened and they let out a shriek in concern for Lincoln.
"What? He volunteered..." Courtney snapped at her.
"Yeah... He is so getting it for making us worry like that!" Ronnie Anne said with the Loud sisters agreeing and Rita ended up wishing that he didn't himself.
"You were kind of eager to let my boyfriend and your supposed "teammate" try out that cannon firing..." Gwen said as they stared off with Zoey and Brady coming over.
"Is this going to lead to a big blowout between those two..." Bobby asked and they gulped knowing that it was going to be likely with Lincoln in the middle.
At the other ship Sammy was looking over the plank to see Bridgette underneath; "Jump down Sammy and I will catch you!" Bridgette told her as Sammy was screaming but Chef pushed past with Chris behind him.
"Hey! You sabotaged this challenge already by breaking the rules!" Chris snapped as Lincoln being fired out of the cannon ended up pushing Chris into the water as he then began swimming away in fright as the sharks were chasing him but then there was eels and jellyfish that began stinging him causing him to yell in pain.
There were cheers and laughs at this; "Wow... We didn't even have to wait until the finale to get this... This makes the whole episode worth it!" laughed Lana and they were taking pleasure at the moment; even the older ones after all that Chris had pulled.
Chef was pushed as well but his fingers were holding onto the plank with him begging for mercy. Lincoln groaned as he got up but Sammy looked nervous and then looked to Bridgette. "You don't have to put up with the abuse of working here anymore Sammy! You have dignity and deserves respect!" Bridgette screamed out and Sammy thought it over with Lincoln looking over her encouragingly as the others were sent flying onto the ship and then Lincoln went to help them up.
"Do it Sammy!" They were now chanting.
"You are right... I have been treated badly by my sister my whole life and while this show isn't as bad... I shouldn't have to take this... Remember Chef when I was trying out the challenges for the beach movie episode and how I was in your position and you were in mine... How did that turn out!" Sammy said determinedly and grinned as Chef looking at her pleadingly. She just stood on his fingers causing him to fall.
They smirked at the irony and laughed and cheered some more.
"Hope this helps her to stand up more to her evil twin!" Rita then said.
"That is justice after all you did to help Chris and all you giving us actually good cooks who care about our craft a bad name!" Lynn Sr then cheered with Ronnie Anne thinking that her Abuela will end up reacting similarly to this.
"Is this why Sammy was giving the recap? Those two were unavailable?" Luna then brought up and they realised that this probably is the case.
"Then who is hosting now? Don?" Sam then asked and they hoped so.
They all looked overboard to watch the two as Bridgette climbed into the ship and Sammy helped her up so they could watch. "This is like how last season ended. This time we didn't have to wait until after the final challenge..." laughed Gwen as they all laughed at the screaming.
Laughs at this, especially Lana at what she said a little earlier.
"Yessir... Amy; the pushover that left the house isn't coming back!" cheered Sammy in the confessional and looked surprised at herself.
More cheers at this and Rita remembered her earlier words.
At the stand for the award ceremony the contestants were sitting down with Lincoln and Gwen together but Gwen was frowning. "Something the matter Gwen?" Lincoln asked as Gwen sighed.
"You remember how you said that you wouldn't let Courtney go too far in your alliance? Well I can't help but wonder if your partnership has now become uneven in her favour. That you are her underling now..." Gwen told him and his eyes widened.
"What? We are friends and partners; she just happens to have plans first that I go along with!" Lincoln defended as Gwen shook her head.
"Make sure that it's still a partnership and she doesn't have you do something underhanded..." Gwen warned him as Sammy coughed as she went to the podium in her dress with them clapping.
They gulped at this; "They got through this okay... Right? They didn't break up?" Leni asked as while she did prefer Dawn; she didn't want Lincoln to have things broken off with either of his girlfriends since they made him so happy and they didn't even get a chance meet them themselves yet. There were frowns at this.
"Let's see... Hope not... Not the first time that those 2 had that conversation..." Ronnie Anne then said.
"Thank you very much and well... Chris and Chef are at the doctors being seen about their stings and being electrocuted in the water and the higher ups haven't contacted us and we don't knew when the two will be out of the doctors yet but... They say that the show must go on..." Sammy said as they all clapped. "Anyway for the first Gilded Chris and it goes to Lincoln since technically speaking he came closest to duelling Chef to save me and I am super thankful by the way!" Sammy said throwing Lincoln his Gilded Chris.
Cheers at this.
"Sorry Bridgette but Chris did say that you were disqualified so..." Sammy muttered apologetically as she threw everyone else their GIided Chrises but Bridgette came up smiling and went to the stage.
"Ah yes... Way to make this a downer..." Lynn Jr then said sighing along with others.
"I bet she would happily repeat what she did if given the chance..." Sam then said and no one could fault her for that, even Lynn Jr begrudgingly.
Bridgette then embraced her and Sammy shocked did the same with Lincoln and Zoey giving awe reactions. Bridgette let go and said "don't worry Sammy as I would have done what I did again in a heartbeat. Thanks for being my friend and to all the cool people that I befriended on the show thanks the same as well! Plus placing 6th in a contest with 16 is nothing to be ashamed about!"
They just all smiled at this beautiful moment; "Friendship wins out and another new friend for Lincoln as well!" Leni then squealed and they just continued smiling.
They clapped as Bridgette waved to them as she was going to the Walk of Shame but from the Lame-O-Sine came out Matthew Draven Jr who came to the stage with Bridgette deciding to watch from outside the stage.
"Hey... Isn't that the guy who gave that disclaimer last season about the underage drinking..." Ronnie Anne asked recognising them.
"Probably to clear up the hosting situation..." Rita then said and they listened intently.
"Hello everyone; I am Matthew Draven Jr the executive producer of Total Drama and I am here to tell you that Chris McLean and Cheffrey Hatchet will be in the hospital for at least a month and will be in no condition to continue the show." Matthew said with cheers from the contestants but then their eyes widened while Sammy looked nervous.
"No more Chris and Chef!" They all cheered.
"So does this mean that Don is coming back to replace them?" Courtney asked as Gwen's eyes widened.
They had their fingers crossed at this.
"Wait a minute... Cheffrey? Chef is his actual name?" Gwen asked as Sammy hesitatingly looked up at Matthew.
They blinked at this; What a name to be given..." Luna then said.
"A badly named person... His parents should have went with something else..." grumbled Lynn Sr.
"So what does this mean Mr Draven sir?" Sammy asked as Matthew smiled at her.
"As of this moment; consider yourself promoted Ms Sammy. You are to serve as host for the remainder of the season." Mathew said as they were stunned silence as Sammy was open mouthed but Bridgette ran to the stage to embrace Sammy again as they all clapped for her and cheered.
They blinked in surprise.
"Did I hear that correctly..." Bobby then asked.
"I think you did..." Lori told her husband in response.
"Wow... God for Sammy I say!" Lana then said and they all smiled happy for this.
"Wait... They are putting an teenage intern as the new host..." Rita then asked surprised.
"I bet that the studio wants to take advantage of her popularity and fame." Lori then said.
Lola ended up couldn't help but feeling jealous of Sammy at the moment; under 18 and being given a shot like this. She hopes that she will be so famous by the time that she reaches her and Lincoln's age that she gets chosen to host her own show.
"I wonder how Topher is going to react considering his own attempt to replace Chris and get this job..." Ronnie Anne then brought up and they laughed at the thought.
"I'm... The new host?" Sammy asked as Bridgette let go and then gave her a grin and a thumbs up as she went back to the Walk of Shame. Bridgette then cheered for herself as she jumped on the spot. "This is the coolest thing that ever happened to me... I will be making sure that the show's challenges are more survivable while still being exciting!" Sammy said to the crowd and then ran up to a camera. "I guess I should close out this show... Ahem... 5 left and only 4 will go to this season's double elimination challenge to decide the final 2 who will be competing for this season's million dollar prize! I'm Sammy the host and I will see you all next time on Total... Drama... Action!" Sammy said to the camera excitedly.
"Wow... What an episode... I am definitely looking forward to the rest of the show!" Lana then said with them all in agreement and no one wanted to spoilt the mood but bringing up what Courtney could do next in her alliance.
"I hope that this means that we don't have to worry about this show killing us with heart attacks now!" Myrtle then said with her husband nodding.
"Man... I hope that Bobby and I can keep it in to not spoil the surprise when we watch with the family..." Ronnie Anne then said with Bobby nodding as this put them all in a good mood for the time being.
