what remained of the Magic Council, Siegrain stumbled around in his office before finding the switch he was looking for. "Ah…Found it…the switch to the Etherion Cannon…" Siegrain grinned, pressing the switch to activate the cannon. The problem was, since the Council had been so viciously attacked, and since it was so sudden, the cannon had to charge up before it could be fired. While this happened, Siegrain adjusted the targeting for Crocus. "It'll need some time before it can fire, I know…but when it fires…" Siegrain didn't even finish, instead a grin appeared on his face.

With her trusty Clamore equipped, and the agility of an assassin, Skye slashed multiple angels on her way through the city. A large sword came down in her direction, but she jumped to the side before the sword even hit. When she looked up, she noticed a circle of angels surrounded her, all with bows and arrows pointed at her. "Biofrost!" Skye exclaimed as a light appeared around her Claymore, replacing it with a circular ring with sharp edges. The angels unleashed their arrows just as Skye began to spin around with her Biofrost. The spinning motion was powerful enough to deflect all the arrows with ease, but none of them hit the angels. Before the angels could fire once again, multiple blue magic seals appeared under the angels, and sharp ice pillars shot out, striking them all down. "Adam-sama…!"

Adam nodded as he walked forward next to Skye. "I can handle this," Adamantine said as he looked towards the larger Centurions coming his way. "I think there may be a few others who need your help."

"Right…!" Skye nodded, running off. "I'll see if Nee-chan needs my help!"

"Hey, ugly!" Luke shouted as he rushed towards Cumore from behind, black and white energy swirling around his fist.

"Hm…?" Cumore turned around, only to narrowly avoid Luke's incoming fist with wide eyes. "How dare you try to attack me from behind?!" Cumore then swung his leg at Luke's side, sending the copy mage sliding back a few feet.

"Sneak attack?" Luke asked as he quickly regained his composure, a grin on his face. "I'm just the distraction."

"What?" Cumore raised a brow at Luke's words.

"Ice Make: Freeze Lancer!"

"Ice Make: Eagles!" Gray and Lyon shouted in unison, sending a plethora of enlarged frozen lances and frozen eagles in Cumore's direction.

"What?!" Cumore turned around, his eyes wide in surprise upon seeing the ice creations coming his way. "Don't get too confident…!" Cumore held his arm out, revealing a large, angelic shield that covered his entire arm. The ice creations slammed into his shield, pushing him back a few inches, but otherwise, he was unharmed.

"This fucker has everything, doesn't he?" Luke groaned before sprinting forward, white energy covering his fist. "White Pledge!" Luke slammed his fist into the ground, sending a trail of light pillars towards Cumore.

Cumore merely smirked, his angel wings spreading as he flew off to the side, avoiding the incoming light pillars with ease. "I don't have time to deal with lowly trash such as yourselves…"

"Ice Make: Impact!" Gray exclaimed, completely ignoring Cumore's words as a bleu magic seal appeared above the angelic captain.

"Insolent!" Cumore shouted as he quickly placed his shield up, allowing it to take the impact of the Impact. Since it was a downward force, it forced Cumore down to the ground, but he was undamaged. "Angels, deal with these pest!" Cumore ordered, and a large group of angels appeared around Luke, Lyon, and Gray. While this happened, Cumore flew off to deal with more important matters.

"Come back here…!" Lyon shouted, but before he knew it, he and the other two males were already under attack.

Yakuza trudged towards the black ice around Nami, Alex, Beth, Jaxon, Levy, Rocker, and Milliana, scratching his head as he looked to the others. "You're having problems with this ice?"

"Too many," Shadowlore replied. "We can't do anything about it."

"You can eat it? Yes or no?" Waiston asked.

"Leave it to me…" The ice god slayer replied with a smirk. He walked over to the ice around Nami and opened his mouth, taking a bite out of it. After chewing it for a few seconds, he immediately spat it out, groaning. "What the hell!? That's not normal ice…"

"You were making progress though," Taya replied while crossing her arms.

"Its black ice, I think the color alone hardly constitutes it as normal…" Jack said while taking a quick swig from his flask.

"It's got some dark mojo going on there…" Yakuza said. "I can eat this, but I dunno what would even happen to me if I ate it all…"

"So we're back at square one then…?" Alzack grunted.

"Like hell we are," Taya said while she glared darkly at Yakuza, using a vector to lift him by the back of his shirt and pull him towards her. "Listen here, you gothic atrocity; my sister and guild mate are trapped in this ice, and I swear to the god these angels follow I will use my bare hands to rip out your throat, rip your entrails, and feed them and your empty corpse to Adamantine if you don't do something about this ice within the next 30 seconds, do you understand me?" Mortified by Tayakata's threat, Yakuza nodded frantically, and the S class mage dropped Yakuza, keeping her glare on him. "GET TO WORK."

"I'm going, I'm going!" Yakuza said with obvious fear in his voice, running towards the captured people in ice once again.

"Heh, I see the intimidation factor is still strong," Reve said with a slight smirk.

"Alright, here we go…" Yakuza began to inhale, drawing in all the black ice in the nearby area, creating a funnel of black ice around his mouth as he did so. "Bellow…" Yakuza pointed his head up in the sky, also aiming for Sirus, feeling pretty lucky. "Of the Ice God!" Yakuza thawed the frozen mages, unleashing a large vortex of black ice towards Sirus.

"Hm…?" Sirus looked down, noticing the powerful vortex of ice coming in his direction. "Foolish…" Sirus pointed his hand down, creating a barrier that merely deflected the Bellow off into a different direction.

"Dammit…" Yakuza sighed. "Well, they're out now!"

"Unconscious, but alright…" Jack nodded.

The swords of Erza and Layanna clashed, sending some sparks flying as a result. Erza was in her Black Wing Armor to keep pace with Layanna, who was using her basic sword, Angelica, to battle Titania. Jellal would've assisted Erza in the battle, but he was currently dealing with a horde of angels, making sure they wouldn't interfere with Erza's battle. With a grunt, Erza continued to slash at Layanna, but the angelic requip mage seemed to be equal in terms of skill with Erza, parrying or dodging any slash that came her way. "Tch…' Erza landed on the nearest building, changing into her Morning Star armor. With her dual swords, she propelled herself forward, pointing them towards Layanna. "Venus Photon Slicer!" Erza unleashed a powerful blast towards Layanna, which ended up consuming her. Layanna stayed silent, and when the attack cleared, she was noticeably damaged, but she kept firm. "Not budging…?"

Layanna requipped into her Black Ice sword once more, now charging towards Erza. She swung her blade at Erza, but the S class requip mage easily dodged the incoming slashes, but she could feel the frigid wind left behind every slash. "I will defeat you, Titania," Layanna said in a monotonous, yet serious tone.

"I don't think so…" Erza replied as she took a large leap back, a heavenly glow appearing around her person now changing into her Purgatory Armor. She swung her large weapon in time with Layanna, causing yet another clash. This clash was different from the other, as Erza's large, spiked weapon was frozen by the Black Ice sword, basically making it unusable. "What…?!" Erza dropped her weapon to avoid a slash from Layanna, now changing into her Flame Empress Armor to combat the Black Ice.

"This isn't regular ice…" Layanna replied to Erza's confusion.

"I can see that…" Erza replied as he let her sword light up in orange flame. She swung at Laynna once again, who countered with her own slash. After a few second stalemate, the two females jumped back, and to Erza's surprise, even her Flame Empress sword fell to the Black Ice, freezing over. "Agh…"

"Give up now, Titania," Layanna ordered as she pointed Black Ice at Erza. "Otherwise, I'll freeze you for eternity…"

"Happy!" Cynthia shouted as she jumped down near Gajeel, Patherlily and Selene, followed by Wendy and Carla.

"Here…" Happy said while having a dazed look in his eyes.

"What happened?" Carla asked as she gently poked Happy to make sure nothing was broken.

"Big angel…" Happy replied as he pointed up at Sirus, who was just watching everything from up above.

"How are we going to deal with him…?" Selene asked.

"I think we should focus on the captains and these annoying shits first," Gajeel replied. "Diamond Princess and I took out the ones in this area."

"Happy!" Natsu shouted as he ran forward, picking up the exceed.

"There you are…." Gajeel sighed before pointing at Happy. "Next time, keep track of your own damn cat, eh?"

"Sorry…" Lucy coughed. "What's the situation with you guys?"

"Everything's fine here," Selene replied to Lucy while crossing her arms. "We're ready to take down more if necessary.

"We're fine over here too!" Wendy nodded.

"Alright, let's keep fighting then! I'll be the one to take down that Sirius guy!" Natsu grinned before running off, and Lucy followed behind him rather quickly.

"Let's go Wendy, we have our own battles to do too!" Cynthia nodded, and she, Wendy and Carla went off.

"Diamond Princess?" Selene blinked a few times, turning to Gajeel.

Mirajane, Kairi, and Lucifer had flown high above the city, away from the battle below to do their own battle. Mirajane and Kairi were moderately damaged while Lucifer had a few signs of damage on him. With light magic in one hand, and dark magic in the other, Lucifer charged the demon and the angel, throwing his fist at them. "Disgusting, how dare a demon even THINK to share the same space as an angel…"

Mirajane stayed silent despite Lucifer's comment, doing her best to avoid Lucifer's punches along with Kairi. Eventually, Lucifer got the best of both of them, slamming both of his fists into their jaws, causing them both to fly back a bit. "Egh…" Mirajane cupped her hands to her sides, creating cosmic-like beam in her hands. She then threw her arms forward, unleashing the beam towards Lucifer.

"Useless!" Lucifer grinned as he unleashed the dark magic around his hand towards Mirajane's Cosmic Blast. Lucifer's magic easily overpowered the demon Halpas' magic, striking Mirajane directly, resulting in an explosion that sent the demon hurtling towards the ground.

Kairi raised her hand, creating a gold magic seal above Lucifer. This seal unleashed a plethora of light meteors that rained down on the angel. "Mirajane…"

"Pay attention!" Lucifer exclaimed as he flew through the meteors, not a single one making contact with him. He rushed Kairi with a series of punches, but the angelic takeover mage managed to avoid the punches and began to counter with her own, but neither managed to land a hit on the other. Kairi flew back, creating a gap between her and Lucifer, which Mirajane flew up and attempted to land her own punch in, but she missed. Lucifer was now under fire from both Mirajane and Kairi, but he was adapt at close combat, avoiding and blocking each punch and kick either female had to offer. After, he spun, landing his heels on the jaws of both females, sending them spiraling away.

"Agh…He's strong…" Kairi grunted as she wiped the blood trailing from her mouth with the back of her hand.

"I don't think I have enough magic to enter Stiri…" Mirajane replied to Kairi. "But I can if I have to…"

"No, I have an idea…" Kairi said a she straightened up. "Keep him distracted…"

Mirajane nodded, flying towards Lucifer once again. She wasn't sure what Kairi had in mind, but she placed her trust in the angel as she attempted to distract Lucifer long enough for Kairi. Mirajane threw a punch coated in darkness magic forward just as Lucifer threw his own fist, the two colliding created a shockwave that shattered the windows of a few buildings still standing.

"Why don't you just give up already?" Lucifer asked with an annoyed tone as he reared his fist back, but before he could throw his punch, Kairi managed to grab hold of him, a tight grip as well. "W-What the?!"

"I get it…!" Mirajane's eyes widened as she realized what Kairi was planning. She flew back to give Kairi space as a magic circle appeared over her and Lucifer.

"L-Let me go…! You mockery of an angel!" Lucifer shouted as he tried to flail around, but Kairi's grip was absolute.

"N-Never…!" Kairi replied as a bright light began to shine around her and Lucifer.

Skye had gotten onto the roof of a building still standing, watching as Kairi was "taking over" Lucifer, her eyes wide with surprise. "N-Nee-chan…!"

The bright light blinded both Mirajane and Skye, and when it faded, Kairi's appearance had changed drastically. Her attire was replaced with a white, armored, V-neck top, which extended to her hands, fitted into red gloves with a red undershirt. Her legs were covered by white, form-fitting dress-like pants, forming into red boots around her ankles. A black lightning bolt mark traveled from her left collarbone to her right cheek bone, and her hair became curlier, adopting a dark, violet color. "…."

"She took him over…" Mirajane said with a slight hint of awe in her voice.

"L-LUCIFER?!" Sirus' eyes widened as he witnessed the event that just transpired. One of his strongest commanders had just been taken over.

"Nee-chan, you did it!" Skye said with a cheery voice. Kairi gave a slight smile at first, but then she placed both her hands on her head, letting out a scream as she felt the power of Lucifer immediately leaving her control. "N-Nee-chan!? What's wrong!?" Skye asked with worry.

"She's losing control…!" Mirajane pointed out, keeping her guard up. Kairi pointed her hand out towards Skye, creating a black magic circle. "Look out!" Mirajane shouted as she rushed forward without delay. This scenario was all too familiar too her, and she wasn't going to allow a repeat of it. With as much speed as she could muster she sped towards Kairi, and swung her leg at her arm, causing Kairi's arm to move upwards, unleashing a powerful beam of dark magic into the sky that exploded violently, shaking the air a little. "She's lost control of it…"
