A.N. — Ah, it's such a refreshing change, getting back to a bit more lighthearted tone after that sequence of serious Vigilantes drabbles. Today's character is a put-upon teacher whose short entry in the Ultra Analysis book I just had to expand upon. She isn't actually the last person from Masegaki Elementary to be featured, either.
330. Komari Ikoma
Teachers often burned out in their first years on the job. Komari Ikoma was quickly joining that number.
In a school known for troublemakers, Komari's class still stood out for its brazen disregard for rules and decorum. The kids were supposed to be the ones prone to crying jags, but Komari was often the one with tears in her eyes. They never listened to her, and she in turn had lost faith in being able to tame their antics.
Away from the classroom, Komari could find solace. Measuring her peace in empty beer can, though, just temporarily dulled her misery.
