When Like-Likes start munching all of Hyrule's shields due to a botched ritual, it heralds bad things. Groose is sent on a quest to find the Reincarnated Hero (Even though he really doesn't want to find the guy.) Things get messy when the Yiga, a Korok spy network, a fan club, and an avaricious aspiring merchant get involved. Groose deserves a raise. Minor edits completed!

Sheik is the best the Yiga have to offer, so it's only natural he is sent to stop the newly awakened Hero of Hyrule from ruining Lord Ganon's plans. He just wishes the Hero wasn't so damned hard to catch off-guard!

The very day that Zelda brings her firstborn son into the world, her husband Link defeats Ganon - only to discover that the dark sorcerer himself had a son. Unwilling to abandon the child, the royal couple raise him alongside their own, determined to show him that he can forge his own path - even as the shadow of his father's legacy obscures his way. Clementa has left the Yiga clan, but now wanders aimlessly through Hyrule in search of purpose. Upon finding a collection of Sheikah tomes in the ruins of Hyrule castle she decides to find the answer she has longed to know for herself... even as the shadows of the past haunt her every footstep.

After years of training, the young hero of time has finally defeated the biggest threat that was looming over Hyrule. Now with years of peace and serenity to come, Link's mind is still troubled with some thoughts that won't let him rest at night. Is all really as peaceful as they seem at first glance?

The story of Breath of the Wild, as told by me! I was never satisfied with the very vague memories and always found the backstory to BOTW to be the most interesting part. Now with heavy inspiration from Calm waters run deep (MaryDragon defo check it out if somehow you haven't already) and my own imagination here is a more relationship-driven story. But Ravio can't help but think of his favorite customer while he's doing it...This is pretty much a character study that got out of hand.
