It was strange. The dream she was in. The trees were tall, barely any light passed through them. A string of moonlight lit up the path before allowing her to slowly walk forward. Cautiously, she did so and for an undetermined amount of time until she heard soft sobbing causing her to stop. Slowly, her dark brown eyes shifted to the right, landing upon a small child crouched down in front of a tree. Weeping.Comment by Guest User: moonlight light? I would remove the second 'light'
"You should call or write to him. You're sick," The child wept as they slowly began to stand and turned to look at her.
Eyes as black as night, skin a sickly pale color and dark hair cascading down the side of their face. Confusion, fear and utter disbelief as she slowly began to back away before she turned around, running as fast as her legs could take her. No matter how fast she ran they would always catch her. Cold hand gripped her shoulders, pulling her downward with an unnatural strength.
Her eyes snapped open, greeted to the blurry dark ceiling, she reached up brushing her sweat dampened hair out of her face. As she sat up in her bed, she looked out the nearby window, seeing that the sun was still peering through her darkened blinds and curtains. She allowed a tired sight escaped her plump lips as she shifted to her right reaching for the cellphone that rested on her small stand next the bed. Grabbing the phone she looked at the time, realizing that she had slept in longer than she wanted.
She slid her legs off the side of the bed, her sock covered feet hit the wooden floor with a soft thump. Wearily, she got to her feet, looking around until she reached over, and slowly began to feel for the light switch that was at the base of the lamp that sat on the stand. As the light came on, she squinted her eyes as she reached over to where her glasses sat and put them on. Once they were on, she suddenly heard a playful male voice call out," MIIIKKKAAA~
Mika let out a soft groan as she replied," Not now Cliff-" She suddenly cut herself off when she felt something ice cold touched her within the center of her back. She jumped onto her feet and began to cuss out the male," Mutha Fucker! I told you! You are fucking cold! I don't need a blizzard on my back!"
She could hear the voice giggling manically before near the door of her room, a large form appeared almost covering the whole wall. A few moments went by when she could begin to make out the features of Cliffjumper, he was a large robot with red and black coloring, but what always struck her was the two medium sized horns on his head. They often reminded her of a bull's horns as well as his bright blueish green eyes.
"Language, Mika~" Cliffjumper chimed in with a playful voice.
"Language my ass-" Mika started, however, she soon began to cough hard, red thick liquid exited her mouth and into her hand.
Cliffjumper's playful demeanor suddenly became serious as walked over to her his hands up as if ready to assist her if she should fall. Mika managed to quell her coughing fit, she offered Cliffjumper a weak smile before heading to her bathroom nearby and washed off the blood from her hand along with rinsing out her mouth. As soon as she was finished, Mika began to brush her teeth, as she did so Cliffjumper peaked into the bathroom and softly asked with concern,
"Are you alright? The others bothering you again?"
Mika spit out the toothpaste, as she began to speak tiredly," No. It's was the a human child reminding me of my… sickness."
Mika looked up at herself in the mirror, dark brown eyes stared back at herself, dark bags under her eyes were prominent against her caramel colored skin. Her long black hair was seemingly all over the place, rinsing off her toothbrush and place it back in it's proper spot in the cup next to her sink. Mika then turned her head slightly to look at Cliffjumper as she spoke," I must look like a right mess…"
Cliffjumper shook his head as he responded softly," You aren't a mess. You like a beautiful crystal flower."
Mika looked at Cliffjumper with a blank look causing him to chuckle as she spoke," Crystal flower my ass. Now shoo for a bit so I can grab my clothes and get cleaned up."
Cliffjumper pouted as before giving her a salute, as he quickly vanished from her sight allowing Mika a moment of silence. However, it didn't last long as she returned her attention back to the mirror only to be met with another person behind her. She could make out a that it was a male that had black eye sockets staring at her, however, what drew her attention was the large gash across his neck. Mika tried to tell him to go, but it was too late as he reached out touching her shoulder. Her eyes widened as the last moments of the man's life played out before her eyes:
"I cant live like this," he lamented as he stood in front of a lake. "I won't live on like this. I'll end this."
A knife was clenched in his hand. A feeling of sorrow, anger and finality filled his being as he raised his hand that held the knife in it and brought it across his throat. Pain filled up, as he began to bleed out, the thick wetness of it quickly covered his shirt, falling forward into the lake allowing the water to fill his lungs to endure he would not survive. He felt at peace before all faded from his eyes.
Mika let out a gasp of air as she slumped to the floor, her hand immediately went to neck thankful she did not feel blood dripping down her throat. It was then she still felt that familiar coldness on her back, however, just as she was expecting another hand to touch her shoulder or a part of her body, she heard Cliffjumper growl out,
"Alright that's enough of that."
Suddenly the coldness was gone from her back causing her to look backwards and let out a small sigh of relief. Slowly, Mika got to her with a stumble, as soon as she was stabilized she decided to forgo her shower since she had taken one the day before. Walking into her room, she went straight for her closet as she spoke out weakly,
"Thank you Cliff."
"No problem. Sorry I couldn't get back in time." Cliffjumper replied with a rumble as Mika grabbed black long jeans along with a wine colored turtle neck.
"Its not your fault. I have dealt with it before you and I'll deal with it after you return to your heaven," Mika replied as she quickly stripped out of her night clothes and into her new ones.
Mika then went into the bottom drawers and pulled out a pair of thick black socks, she walked back over to her bed, sat down upon it and put them on. Once they were on, she got up, heading to doorway of her bedroom she grabbed her black boots and put them on using the boot bands she had gotten from her brother to keep her pants around her boots. Mika returned to the bathroom, brushed her hair, putting it into a loose ponytail at the base of her neck. Leaving her bathroom she returned to her room, exiting it before heading into the living room to sit down on her couch. Unfortunately, she couldn't be able to get that far as she heard a large crashing sound near her home followed by Cliffjumper appearing in front of her with a panicked expression on his face.
"Get your coat and bag. Decepticons are here!" He quietly exclaimed. Not questioning him she quickly ran over to the closet near her front door, ripping it open to pull out her long black thermal jacket, putting it on before reaching down for her large duffle bag and pulled it out. She didn't bother closing it as she rushed to her back door flinging it open before running into the dense forest behind her home. She was unaware of her fate being altered for all eternity.
