"The Finale between the Akagi Girls Academy and Kuro Mori Mine for the 56th National Highschool Senshado Tournament! Two biggest rivals in the Sports scene here in Senshado, will Akagi finally end Kuro Mori Mine's 3 year streak? Or will Kuro Mori Mine claim it's 4th year championship? It all comes down between the Luck of their schools to carry themselves to Victory."

Glued to the screen of her TV, the young adolescent girl, Kaori Suzuki, was recently introduced to Senshado and she couldn't contain her excitement for every moment as she watched every match that has come and go through the years. In particular she had taken a liking to one person in particular.

"Akagi is facing heat! Their tanks are dwindling in Numbers!" As the commentator spoke of the events the footage switches to a lone tank approaching calmly through a ruined abandoned street.

The Tank was a Comet equiped with a 77mm HV—A Gun famed for killing German Cats— and under it's command was the team's undeniable Ace in the whole, Ashurii Taneguchi.

"The Comet enters the scene! It's fast speed outrunning the German Turrets and oooh the Tiger II has been knocked out of the Tournament! And following in it's grave is the Kuro Mori Mine's Elefant! The Panther turns and shoots! But misses as the Comet dashes away from the scene."

It was clear that even the announcer was failing to catch up to the events happening. The smile in Kaori's face as she watches more tanks be destroyed by Akagi's Ace widens further, but it stopped and soon her eyes turned to sorrow.

"Right..." She whispered. "Kuro Mori Mine had a 9 year streak." And just as she said this, the screen pans in from above, showing the scene of the most heartbreaking match ever to the Akagi Girls Academy.

Laying in smoke was Akagi's Flag Tank the Black Prince bellowing in smoke Infront of Kuro Mori Mine's own Flag Tank the Tiger I.

Both had their white flag up as the sign of the tanks being taken out. But it was clear who were the winners, as Akagi's Ace was clearly lamenting firing a second too late.

"... I was studying in Akagi before it decommissioned it's Senshado club. I never knew our school had this much prestige taken away overnight."

Kaori never had an Interest in Senshado up until now, the worse part was that she was already an adult graduated from College and awaiting someone to marry as in her words working is a pain.

"... Maybe I should've joined Senshado." She quietly wished.

Her door was suddenly opened without warning. Hearing the sound of the door, she turned to see her father trying to be as sneaky as possible.

"Father?" She calls out.

The hand that was trying to reach for the light startles in surprise, but with a sigh the door fully opened with the face of her apologetic father as he enters the room.

"Kaori... Don't tell me you just wanna stay in your room all day?" He wonders with a stemming fear from his heart.

"I'm not gonna be like my Sister dad. I won't be a Shut in." Kaori reassures her worried father.

"I know that... It's just you're not looking for a job or even a husband. That's why I'm worried for your future. Staying in this home may turn your future upside down. And I don't wanna see that or leave it like that, as your father, it is my obligation to teach and guide you on how to grow. That is why if you have interest in anything tell me and I will support you."

Hearing those words Kaori had a Brilliant Idea.

2 Weeks After

"oOoOO!!! A Tank! A real tank in the flesh! And it's Infront of me!" Jumping in excitement. Kaori ran up to the hull of the Tank and opened it's hatch.

"Now now Kaori." Her father spoke.

"Yes, Father?" She turned to her father not stopping her movements to get into the inside of the tank.

"Don't get too excited. If you break anything in the tank you can't expect a check from the Senshado Federation to help you fix something. In the world of Adults everything is in our pockets, that includes repairs, spare parts and upgrades don't even expect a discount you're a nobody in the sport."

"You didn't get a warranty for the Tank?"

"Why would they need to give me warranty when it was so cheap? Also it's a second hand from an Australian Team who are replacing their roster with Abrams. Anyway I bought everything you need to know about that tank. Magazines, instructions and some tools for maintenance also, here's a copy of the keys to the Garage. I'll be leaving now to take care of our pet."

'We don't have a pet...' Kaori thought, then it hit her. "Oh, Hatsuki." It was her older sister.

Nevermind that, she sat back again to the driver's chair and looked around the tank. While it was honestly cramped compared to what she was used to but since it was made for Europeans, for a Japanese woman the Tank feels right at home.

"I should really look for people who are willing to go with me." Thus began her journey, to the local Library.

Driving the Tank there was slow but enjoyable. Of course she wasn't the only tank in the road but it definitely made her stand out.

As the Vehicle that was purchased for her was the Centurion MK. 3, it was one of the Tanks banned in Highschool senshado and is barely allowed within college Senshado however, in the realms with Adults Sports the Senshado's rules and regulations regarding specification of tanks to participate no longer apply, any era tanks are allowed to participate and compete.

Reaching town she parked her vehicle right by the Library's parking lot. Turning off the Engine Kaori bounced off the Vehicle and excitedly ran to the door.

"Morning Kaori." Greeting her was the part time worker, Arata.

"Morning to you too, Arata. Say do you have a book of instructions on a Tank's maintenance? preferably the Centurion?"

"Let me check... Yup, it's by C section row 4."

"Thank's I'll be borrowing it."

"Did you bring your Library Card?"

"Of course!"

Leaving the Counter she directly headed for the instructed direction. It wasn't that hard for her to find what she was looking for.

"Centurion, the King of the Hill." She read the title and pulled it out from it's place. Carrying the book she returned to the counter and handed her Library Card.

Embracing the book she happily exits the establishment. The first thing she sees outside was a small crowd of people, Naturally some people were taking pictures of her Tank as not many modern tanks are getting used outside due to their cost and most who fields such a vehicle were mostly pro teams.

"Yukari, what makes this tank different from the ones in Highschool senshadou?" An orange haired girl wondered out loud.

Seeing some curiousity from the people admiring her tank she couldn't help but be happy, so with the book in hand she instead went to the park to get a nice calm place to read the book she had borrowed.

The park was a place where Cherry trees were abundant but due to the day of the year they have yet to bloom.

With a long day ahead of her, she looked for a place to rest and enjoy the afternoon reading.

"Hm? That person's familiar."

""""""""""""""""

"Comet III, cease your approach!"

"Commander, I'm sorry but that's not possible! You're surrounded!"

"Continue your hunt for the enemy flag tank! We can handle this!"

There followed Chaos and disorder, every ladder and planning were thrown out the window as panicked of defeat ensued.

"Ashurii are you sure about this!?"

"Yes..."

Even at the time, she didn't understood what she was doing.

"Fire!"

"Confirmed Knock out!"

"Driver, Forward! Halt! Gunner Fire!"

"Heavy Tank Destroyer Eliminated!"

Akagi Girl's Academy was facing a financial trouble after a series of defeats and disinterest in school registration. The school had no choice but to cut down on expenses and at the highest in the list was Senshadou.

It was a time when the Senshadou Federation did not interfere with the decline of the sport hence Akagi's Senshadou were threatened to be closed.

In a last desperate hope. They...

The white flag above the Black Prince waved by a torrent of wind. They bet everything in the 56th National High School Senshado Tournament and lost.

"Ashurii!"

Startled, Ashurii Taniguchi lifted her head up to see the person who yelled at her name. Seeing eye to eye, Taniguchi recoiled back slightly.

"Manager Ken..." She greets with a forced smile in her face.

"Your paperwork isn't done! You'll need to do overtime, we need those papers tommorow."

"... yes..."

She was a second year then. The closing of the club was beyond tragic, her dreams and aspirations were crushed. Her pride as Akagi's Ace crushed as seemingly overnight she became a nobody.

Experiencing many difficulties she forever swore to never return to the sport. Burying the name to the ground, even as she suffers in her job she couldn't stop thinking of how good this was for her —While in reality she was in fact merely denying the truth.

"... I've been working for two days huh." Ashurii comments as she finishes her last paper. Looking at the time it was already afternoon and soon her work was about to begin again in a few hours or so.

Standing up from her desk she excuses herself to take a breath of fresh air.

Just as she reaches the door she was stopped by Manager Ken once again. He looked refreshed and well slept in contrary to herself who didn't get a wink of sleep and looked almost like a Zombie.

"Upper Management called and said that you're dismissed. Here's your severance pay and clean your desk for a newcomer."

"... Huh?"

It took long for her to register what just happened, her body unknowingly moved in accordance to her final orders and when she finally regained cohesion she was outside.

Dropping her bag she sat down in the Park's bench. She sat there doing nothing, the shock was there but it also felt like she expected it.

"What am I gonna do now? Be an actress? Haha..." She crudely joked. Tear's slowly formed by the corner of her eyes, "No way, it's just a joke right?" She looked around wishing that was the case. Then in her heart she felt a deep sense of hatred as she remember the face of the relaxed and well refreshed face, "That Motherfucker..!!" She stood up and punched the bench, seething while standing there she began thinking of ways to bargain. "Maybe I should bribe someone? No, maybe sleeping in their bed..." She halted those thoughts and sat back down. Clasping her head she punctured her nails into her skin. "What's wrong with me... Why did I even..." It was irrational for her to get this fixated over being fired, sighing she stood up once again. "I gotta redo my resume..." As she decided her next course of action...

Suddenly she felt a tap by her shoulder, turning her heels she faced the person who took her attention. "May I help you?" She asked in a business tone.

"..." There was silence to the other party, when Ashurii was about to speak to excuse herself the other person finally spoke. "Aren't you Ashurii Taniguchi?"

Like time had stopped, there was a shock that shook her to her core. Who was she? Even hardcore Senshadou fans never knew who she was or even recognize her, beyond all of that... What was she feeling now? The heart that felt nothing all this years was suddenly beating in nervousness...
