While returning to their duties at ThunderStarUniversalEnterprises and gearing up for the McKagan Trio's birthday celebration, all of the Knights are called to the command center with some new assignments from the Universal Council. One is to go in search of and retrieve their Ultimate Power Crystals and while each group is doing that, the rest of the Knights will be helping solve different cases. The Crystal Quests begin with the Water and Ice Knights. Jade and the Enforcers have just learned that someone they thought died years ago really survived and has been living with amnesia. When word gets out about this new discovery, Jeffery and the Rivals go out of their way to steal the spotlight. But some added allies to ThunderStar changes the score on the Rivals.
