Sohn blurred forwards, a flurry of kicks seeking her opponent's body. Ribs, shoulder, head – the triple blow would easily disable another pokegirl if not for Miruko's perfect blocking skill. Sohn's foot just found the Lopunny's forearm with every hit, even the finisher being deflected to whistle harmlessly past Miruko's ears. Instantly she was striking back, a punch pressing into Sohn's own block before Miruko spun, her body lowering closer to the ground as she swept her own leg for Sohn's vulnerable support. Sohn hadn't yet gotten her striking foot back in position and she was forced to flip away, twisting from Miruko's seeking strikes until she was allowed to land with enough time for her tail to whip out targeting her opponent's eyes.
The others watched the fight with rapt attention. Was today the day? Would their Beta finally take her first match?
Nicholas also watched the sparring pokegirls, but he was relaxed. Miruko had grown stronger since she joined him in Sinnoh – and so had Sohn, becoming much, much stronger than the pokegirl that had first challenged that Elite Four. This battle between them reminded him of Miruko's short bout with Flint's Infernape, Chen. The two pokegirls were evenly matched. In that regard it didn't matter if Sohn would win. It had taken nearly two years, but here she was. All but fulfilling the wish she had held from the first day she had met Miruko. The two were equals now. The only thing left was for Sohn to find a victory, but as far as he was concerned, she'd already proven enough.
Unknown to him, for he was keeping his thoughts separated from both pokegirls and allowing them the freedom to spar on their own, Sohn was running over many of the same thoughts as her tamer. As her fists shot out to deflect Miruko's haymaker. She could see this pokegirl. More than that. She could move with this pokegirl. Miruko. The Lopunny who had for so long been an impossible, smothering Buneary mocking her. The last year they had spent together had completely changed that. This was one of her harem sisters now. One of her harem, and a good friend.
…She didn't want to win.
Miruko's brow crinkled when she saw Sohn break away and the tension began fading from the Infernape's body. What was this? A trick?
She couldn't afford to let her guard down. Miruko's foot dug into the grass as she launched herself towards her relaxing opponent. No, she could not afford to hesitate even an instant before her Beta. She had seen the potential in this pokegirl from the very beginning, and now, with it facing her, she had no choice but respect it.
Sohn's lips turned up in an amused smile as Miruko lunged for her. "Enough."
Zisela began to chuckle when indecision flashed across Miruko's face. The Lopunny took another moment to decide but when she did she slammed her feet into the ground in an effort to stop her momentum. There wasn't nearly enough space. She slammed right into Sohn, though only as a collision, not an attack, and Sohn caught her, stumbling back as she absorbed Miruko's momentum and coming to a rest with her arms wrapped around the Lopunny.
"Why did you stop?" Miruko hissed under her breath. "You were-"
"I know," Sohn whispered back. She let go and pushed Miruko slightly to send her back a step. "I don't want to beat you, Miruko. If I do, what more is there for me to work for?" Her eyes were bright with suppressed flames as she gave the wary Lopunny a wild grin. "Besides, there's no point in knocking you down. It's not how this harem works, after all."
Miruko smirked and her eyes narrowed. "Your words are kind, so why am I consumed with violent rage?"
"Because you are my harem sister," Sohn snickered in response.
"VERY GOOD!" Both pokegirls jumped at the yell and a deafening clap that heralded Zisela's arrival onto their battlefield. The Garchomp was strolling forwards as she lowered her hands. "I believe that does it for training today. Sohn! Tomorrow you will be facing Sammy. I want to see you work harder on your flames."
Sohn bowed slightly. "Yes, Alpha."
Nicholas got to his feet as the pokegirls began drifting apart. There were a few observers from the rest of the harem, as usual, but a figure a bit further away had drawn his interest. He knew it had drawn Zisela's as well. She was speaking to Miruko, but her body language was angled entirely towards where Lili leaned against a wall, the Tyranitar's eyes locked on the Garchomp.
He'd seen Lili eyeing Zisela more openly in the past few weeks. That side of his harem was still embroiled in full-on war, after all, with Zisela inserting herself into the power struggle between Kary and Lili for control of his Weyr and immediately proving herself a threat to them both. Kary only cared about subjugating the Garchomp with strength. Lili, on the other hand, seemed to be considering a different approach.
He glanced at where Quinn was standing and talking to Elizabeth. Would seeing her Alpha openly courting another pokegirl push Quinn over the edge as well? She had worked so hard for her new look, after all. When he'd learned that Cathy's secret to toning her body was a strict regimen of simple physical exercise, as if she was a human, he hadn't believed that it would be that easy. But Quinn had proven it was. He hypothesized that it was a mental change, where the pokegirls believed themselves to be changing their bodies, and not necessarily a true physical change, considering the usual immutability of a pokegirl's form. But, if daily workouts that left Cathy and Quinn fading in and out of consciousness were what it took for them to believe that they were changing themselves – well, he wasn't going to argue. It's not as if he believed pokegirls were completely static. Even those who had no further drastic evolutions to go through could change their bodies slowly, over time – Dahlia was a prime example, as she had gone from the simple Venusaur all those years ago to now being as rugged and hulking as Professor Oak's girl, Tiana. That, though, had been over the course of a decade. Cathy and Quinn had chosen to accelerate that process over the course of a single year, or in Cathy's case, barely a few months.
There was one immutable truth for the Gallade though. She was nowhere near as streamlined as a pokegirl like Ryuko. Despite that she had actually been successful in slimming her chest substantially, and could fit into a tank top again – even if they were ones specially designed for large breasted pokegirls. That simple thing alone had brought Quinn's self-confidence skyrocketing to new heights, and with her feeling more powerful and confident it was no longer a secret that the Gallade was eyeing the Gardevoir. Quinn often was seen openly staring at Morgana.
Nicholas glanced back at Zisela. She had finished talking to Miruko and now was staring directly at where Lili waited. Those two… He had a feeling there was more between them than they let on. It was Quinn he was more interested in. As far as he had been able to deduce she still had made no move to approach Morgana.
He wasn't going to pretend that the interest in his pokegirls' relationships was anything virtuous. He was well aware that he had the most fun with multiple pokegirls at once and the nights where he had joined Victoria and Kary in bed were some of the more thrilling taming sessions he'd had, after all. He was already looking forward to getting Lili and Zisela, already two very assertive and wild partners on their own, together once they held that same wild energy towards each other as well.
He checked his pokedex. Still no new messages from Sabrina. She'd been away for nearly a month at this point, leaving him with only a cryptic goodbye as she'd gone. "Try not to get mixed up in something you can't abandon while I'm away."
Well, he wasn't. He was sitting very impatiently twiddling his thumbs here in Indigo. When was she going to finally reveal what she was up to?
.
.
Zisela walked silently through the darkened halls towards her destination. She walked with practiced ease, avoiding the squeaky board here, slowing when she passed that door there. Until she came to a halt in front of one room, slowly pushing the door open with her shoulder and slipping inside.
Lili was lounged across her bed, one hand absentmindedly twirling the end of her chest wrap, when she heard the door creak. Zisela saw the Tyranitar sit up and a smile begin to grow across Lili's face as she approached. "Well, well."
Lili fell back again when Zisela crushed their lips together, her fingers releasing their hold on her wrap and moving instead to hook around Zisela's fins. "Eager tonight, are we?" Lili hissed, laughter coloring her words, when she managed to break from Zisela's assault. "Usually you like to watch me undress."
Zisela responded by sliding her claws under Lili's wrap and tearing it to shreds that fell in tattered pieces across the mattress. Lili's eyes narrowed when she felt Zisela's naked chest pressing to hers and she growled softly, digging her own fingers into Zisela's skin and beginning to go from a teasing and sensual attitude to one that matched the Garchomp bearing down on her. A direct and combative one.
Lili had never been shy with her interest in the Garchomp, or Gabite, as she had been when Lili first set eyes on her. A few days after Zisela had returned to Indigo Lili had found her, when nobody, especially Kary, had been around to see them. Zisela had listened to Lili's words, but nothing seemed to have come from her soft challenge until one night some months ago. When Lili was drifting to sleep and had been woken by a body joining her. Wrapping around her in an unmistakable statement.
Things had progressed from there, of course. During the day they maintained appearances, ever the rivals, though that was not a simple act. Lili still fully intended on controlling the Weyr. Zisela did the same. Their nights of sensual pleasure were meant to be an escape from the fighting. Not tonight. Tonight… Zisela was different. So Lili responded.
Zisela hadn't spoken a word since entering her room and now Lili abandoned speech as well. It had been quite some time since she'd had a real chance, a real fight, to showcase her full draconic might. Training was just training. No sparring match was ever allowed to go too far. To allow true competition between the harem would only breed dissent, as those who lost were labeled weak, even if not intentionally. It was just how pokegirls worked.
It was because of that, in this moment, both pokegirls were preparing for war. Lili's own words from a year before explained this perfectly.
"…and now it was time for us to find our positions," Kary said.
Lili's face turned in a jeering mockery. "Considering who laid the egg, I know who dominated that fight. You got fucked – like the submissive bitch you are."
For Zisela to be so forward on this night there was only one thing she had in mind. Their courtship had reached its inevitable conclusion. It was time to determine who would be the Alpha, and who would be the Beta.
It was time to determine which between the two dragons was weaker.
Zisela was thrown when Lili leveraged her entire body to get the Garchomp off of her. She flew through the air, crashing into a shelving unit and smashing straight through to the ground before surging back to her feet with a roar. Lili was already meeting her. Lunging from the bed to smack into Zisela with a wicked crack. Her body was as hard as stone. Zisela's scaley skin was as tough.
Lili, however, had no horns on her head, and Zisela took full advantage. Lili reeled back when Zisela slammed her with a devastating headbutt that tore bloody streaks down the sides of her brow from where Zisela's horns had impacted. She immediately followed up, using Lili's momentary stun to find advantageous grappling points on the Tyranitar's body. By the time Lili had cleared her head Zisela's hands gripped her dominant shoulder and neck, and both were beginning to squeeze. Zisela fully intended on bringing Lili down immediately.
Lili wasn't having it. Zisela grunted in pain when Lili's foot snapped up and kicked her right in the taint, but she maintained her grip, at least until Lili's other leg bent and she whipped her clawed foot straight for the Garchomp's stomach.
Zisela felt Lili's claws ripping into her and let go, shoving the Tyranitar so that Lili's foot whistled harmlessly away through the air. She still had to clutch her stomach, growling angrily when she felt blood seeping over her fingers.
Lili landed on her back but quickly rolled to her feet before Zisela could chase. Seeing the Garchomp's fingers turning red she grew a vicious grin and began slowly stalking towards her injured mate. "Is that all you can manage, Zisela?"
Zisela looked up and bared her fangs. With the initial skirmish over both pokegirls were allowing themselves to surface from their instincts. "I came here tonight for one reason, Lili."
Lili's eyes narrowed and she came to a halt still a safe distance away. "I will deny you. And take what you desire instead."
Zisela snarled at that. Despite the fact that she was still bleeding she pulled her hand away from her stomach and raised it, covered in blood, towards the Tyranitar. "You can have your Weyr." Her eyes burned with the rage of her mother, combined with Zisela's will, which cared only for this Garchomp's own. "I will have you."
Lili's entire body curled back, her spine lifting, head coming down, unnaturally hovering in front of her chest as she spread her arms and hissed out her reply with an eerie, lipless smile. "All I hear is my mate. Offering her surrender."
In a flash she had struck. Zisela gasped when Lili's glowing fingers carved into her face. Blood sprayed across the room and she stumbled, though she did manage to retaliate – fins slashed out and tore open Lili's arms when she tried to block. Even still, despite Zisela's initial headbutt taking the initiative, it was she who was flagging now and Lili consolidated her position by surging after the stumbling Garchomp just to grab her shoulder and whip her own head forwards. The crack when their skulls met was louder than the noise that had come from their bodies impacting and Zisela immediately sat down, hard. Bloody streaks cut across her face. Eyes unable to focus. She couldn't do anything when Lili perched over her, pushing the stunned Garchomp to the ground as she began to let out a sibilant laugh. "Trust me, darling." Her fingers gently cupped Zisela's cheek and she gave her a light kiss on the nose. "I wouldn't have you any other way." She peered deep into the dazed eyes in front of her. "I know that I will never again manage to mark you like I have tonight. That is what I love about you. Perhaps even next time I will be the one on the floor." Her lips drew back. "But just for tonight… you are mine."
.
.
The next day's breakfast found an amused air suffusing the harem. Zisela had slipped away to be healed so the marks from Lili's claws were no longer on her face, but something else certainly was. Each and every pokegirl could sense that the Garchomp now grew an egg in her womb and there was no question who was to blame.
Even though the thirty plus pokegirls of the harem all saw themselves as parts of the greater whole there were still four vague groups around the room. They couldn't just forget their direct harem-sisters, after all. Zisela was somewhere in no-man's land, very deliberately sitting alone, leaving Sohn to lean over to where Quinn was seated and lower her voice. "So when's your turn?"
Quinn jerked as if stung and whirled to the grinning Infernape. "SOHN!"
"Hey, I'm just saying… you're the only one who actually had a name before," Sohn jeered, cackling and slipping away before the dull blade Quinn raised could attempt to smack her. "Whoops, gotta go!"
Quinn growled under her breath as she watched Sohn flee through the rest of the harem. "I am not…" she trailed off, eyes drifting to where Zisela sat, before clenching her jaw. "I refuse to carry an egg."
"Scared?"
Quinn whirled to see Miruko lounging back, the Lopunny cocking one eyebrow at her. "Excuse me?"
"I asked if you were scared," Miruko repeated easily. "You're hot for Morgana, right? Everyone knows it. You scared?"
"Why would I- Gardevoir are the sex symbols. I am a Gallade. I am strength, I am the one who breeds those like her."
Miruko grinned at Quinn. "You're bright fucking red, that's hilarious. You're trying to convince yourself, aren't you? It's not that you haven't approached her yet because you're scared of losing." She leaned forwards with a smirk. "You haven't because you can't understand why you want to."
The table screeched when Quinn shot to her feet. "I don't need to take this from you." Miruko leaned back with a laugh as Quinn turned to find where Morgana sat talking to Bea. "I'll show you. I'll claim her right now!"
"Yeah, you do that," Miruko snickered under her breath as Quinn began striding purposefully for the Gardevoir. "I'm sure she won't claim you like that Tyranitar claimed our Alpha."
Morgana wasn't turned in Quinn's direction as she approached but she still rested her cheek in her hand and smiled at Bea. "Sorry, Alpha. I have a visitor."
Bea glanced past her and chuckled. "She looks quite determined."
Morgana's eyes glowed softly as she replied. "So is our Master." Her face split in a huge grin. "You know, I like that about him."
"So do I." Bea chuckled again and slid back with a wink. "Have fun."
Quinn was almost on top of Morgana when she skidded to a halt as the Gardevoir turned. "M-Morgana. I-" Quinn had to swallow to try and wet a suddenly parched throat. The Gardevoir was gazing down at her and saying nothing. "I… I mean you… Um…"
"Well?" Morgana asked softly. "Spit it out."
Quinn set her shoulders and raised her chin. "Morgana. I, I would like to know if you'd be interested in… being my mate." Her face burned when Morgana began to laugh, the rest of the harem starting to join in after a few moments even if they didn't know what they were laughing at. "I- I-"
"You're cute. You're so cute! Are you offering to be my protector, little Quinn?" Quinn made to open her mouth before gasping when Morgana's hand appeared at her cheek and the Gardevoir smiled wide. "Or if you'd prefer… I could always protect you. No, no… Shh." Quinn began trembling when the Gardevoir's fingers spread across her mouth to stifle her words. "Let me speak for you. After all, I know why you're here." Quinn was frozen in place as Morgana bent down, her lips drifting just inches from Quinn's skin. "I've known from the start, Quinn. I've felt your every emotion as you looked at me. You thought you could hide?" Her smile softened, though for some reason, it didn't grant Quinn any more confidence. She still felt trapped. Prey trapped in the eyes of this pokegirl. "You long for me. No… You do far more than that. You lust for me. It is an ache that fills you. Well, I have something to tell you." Quinn was completely lost in Morgana's shimmering eyes as the Gardevoir continued approaching until her lips captured Quinn's. "I've been watching you too."
A few scattered cheers came from the harem when Quinn was engulfed by Morgana's body. Quinn was protesting but she couldn't do anything in the face of the Gardevoir. The Morgana of today embodied her namesake entirely, able to lure in and overcome even their Master. Quinn was but a toy in her hands.
Miruko was laughing to herself while the others egged the pair on. "Who could have guessed that outcome."
Outside, on the lawn, Nicholas lay back and gazed into the morning sky. Some parts of his thoughts were on Sohn and the others after their showing the day before, but most of them were taken up by the meeting he'd had a week ago. When Ash had visited.
The pokegirls had had fun. But the tamers had sat alone while they talked.
"Heard you were… you know. Taking over the lab."
Ash was seated with one leg up and his arm rested crosswise on the knee. A closed posture, even if the man himself didn't seem to be. "The old Oak's retiring, and Gary's busy in Vermilion. I figure it's the least I can do. Give back to the region I tried to abandon."
Nicholas grunted. "You sound much better. Human."
Ash barely turned his head to look at where Nicholas sat. "So do you."
Nicholas smirked as he watched the lightning bolt that was Jean carve a blazing path through the ground clutter Dahlia was attempting to put up to slow the Pikachu down. Beyond them Victoria and Ash's Charizard, Kiyora, were locked in a battle of their own – not to mention the melee that was the Snorlax, Willow, as she faced down Elizabeth, Bea, and Nessa, all on her own. "I suppose I've come back myself."
"No, you've accomplished more than just that," Ash replied. "You've become what I never could."
Nicholas' thoughts were interrupted by a chime at his belt. Sitting up he pulled out his pokedex to see a new message waiting for him and brushed the worst of the grass from his back before rolling his shoulder to settle his shirt and hitting play.
Sabrina appeared standing in front of a blank white wall and waved at the camera. "Hi honey! I hope you watch this within a few days of me sending it, but even if you're too distracted I trust Kalmiya to." She giggled. Nicholas wasn't focusing too much on her words, choosing instead to soak in her image and appearance. She had a new outfit on, something very sleek and elegant that was way out of character to Sabrina's usual tomboyish cut. "I needed to let you know that, well, I may not be returning to Indigo." That forced his attention back to the smiling woman and her message. "At least not for a very long time. I've been given an amazing opportunity that I just can't pass up." She shook her head sadly. "Sorry, darling. There's just nothing holding me there anymore."
"You're leaving…?" Nicholas began to mutter to himself when the realization hit and he was already beginning to grin even before Sabrina's composure broke and the woman began laughing. "Oh you saucy wench."
"Luckily there's nothing holding you there either!" Sabrina laughed. "I hope I got you, even if it was only for a moment. Give you a little taste of your own medicine." She reached for the camera and tapped the pokedex it must have been attached to. "I'll be attaching your tickets to this message. You better have listened to me and not gotten involved with anything big while I was gone, because unless you want to leave me all alone you also won't be seeing even a single blade of Indigo grass for the foreseeable future." She smiled into the camera. "I mean that. I know the Indigo League was doing their best to keep you happy and rooted in that mansion of theirs, but if you're smart, you'll leave it as empty as the day you moved in when you come to join me." Sabrina winked. "I think a nice Alolan beachside place would be so much better than it anyways." She giggled and blew a kiss. "See you soon!"
Nicholas watched the message end, freezing on a frame of the laughing woman. His heart was beating so fast. Yeah, they were engaged, but… All of a sudden it felt like the world was turning on its head. He turned to look at the building behind him. For so long this mansion had been home. No, it wasn't his. It belonged to the League. It was… their way of keeping him here. The last remnant of the control the government held on him as their Champion.
Her words… He looked back down at her laughing face. Her meaning was obvious. She… she was telling him that she was ready, no, that it was time for them to have somewhere they could call their own. To leave this old life behind.
The harem had mostly finished breakfast and some had gone off to begin their days but a large portion was still in the dining area, still cheering for Morgana and Quinn. Nicholas walked in and some of the mood shifted, multiple sets of eyes turning when they noticed their tamer, but he just smiled at the scene inside and turned to look for his own targets. He found two of them. Miyuki and Bea.
Bea shifted her body to give him enough space to sit at their table when he approached. "Master. Good morning."
"And a good morning to you, Bea. Miyuki," Nicholas said, nodding at the Glaceon across the table. "So that's Morgana all wrapped around someone over there, and I assume Quinn is the one being smothered?"
Bea laughed. "Quinn finally worked up the courage to approach Morgana. Somehow," she leered, "I don't think it's gone quite the way she'd been expecting."
Nicholas laughed at that. "No, Quinn very much wishes to be the one in control. Bad luck for her that she fell for Morgana." He smiled wistfully at the Gardevoir. "Morgana brooks no argument."
"What's on your mind today, Nicholas?" Miyuki asked curiously. "You came straight to our table."
Nicholas chuckled. "Sabrina called me. Or, more accurately, she sent a message."
Miyuki perked up, her ears shooting into the air. "What did she say?"
"She sent me tickets. I hadn't yet looked at them but I assume she's inviting me wherever she is."
Miyuki had immediately reached out to take him by the arm. "We're all coming with you."
"That-"
"The entire harem," Bea interrupted with a growl. "We leave you alone and you'll start building another harem so you're not lonely. Not to mention that this one refuses to let you out of their sight again."
Nicholas gave her a bemused look. "Can the human speak, or does he have to figure out a way to make the pokegirls shut up?"
Bea snickered and sat back with her hands up. "Of course, of course."
"As I was about to say, that's entirely the plan," Nicholas explained. "Even if Sabrina hadn't said what she said I'd still be figuring out a way to bring you all along. Sinnoh had extenuating circumstances, it wasn't the new status quo."
"What did she say?" Bea asked.
"She said…" Nicholas glanced down at his pokedex before taking a deep breath and forging through. "She said it's time to leave Indigo behind." He looked back up. "She talked about moving in together. In our own place, in my home country, Alola."
Bea just nodded but Miyuki's eyes had grown wide and they sparkled with excitement as she lunged across the table to wrap Nicholas in an excited hug. "THAT'S GREAT! So are we going there? To Alola?"
"I, I didn't- MIYUKI!" Nicholas fought his way free of the excited Glaceon and lifted his pokedex. "I haven't looked, but I don't think so! She talked about an opportunity she's been offered and how it might keep her busy for a while. I think she's inviting us all to join her on that."
"Ah, where she keeps disappearing to," Bea surmised while Nicholas had to continue fighting off Miyuki. "Well, Master? See where it is."
Miyuki squealed happily when Nicholas dropped the pokedex to the table so he had both hands free to grab her and stuff the squirming Glaceon into a seat. "Sit right there you frigid menace." He grinned when Miyuki stuck her tongue out at him and gestured around the room. "You really want to make all these pokegirls rethink their opinion of one of my Alphas?"
"Oh they know full well not to mock me when I'm happy," Miyuki replied. Her eyes narrowed ever so slightly as her happy grin turned up and caused her fangs to slip out. "Your High Priestess is no detached servant of her god. She is a pokegirl, and they prefer greatly when she is but a pokegirl like them."
Nicholas was looking at her with an amused smile. "It's not as if you ever lost yourself, Miyuki, but… I will always repeat how I am glad you are still so similar to the Eevee I met in Goldenrod City."
Miyuki let her lips slip back over her teeth as her expression softened. "I will never stop thanking you for freeing me of that life."
"Ey." Bea leaned over and gave Nicholas' shoulder a hard shove. "I'm curious. Sweep her off to your bedroom later, tell us where we're going."
Nicholas snickered and returned his attention to the pokedex on the table. "Right. Right." He opened the message again, this time navigating to the attachments. "There's just one document here. Huh. Did she just buy me a ticket? Expect you all to travel in your pokeballs?"
"Would save on costs," Bea shrugged.
"Yeah but…" Nicholas trailed off. He'd read the document. "Holy…"
"What!"
Nicholas had to run his eyes over the words a few more times to make sure he wasn't seeing things. "Kalmiya!" He looked up when the Porygon materialized a small hologram on the table next to the pokedex. "Sabrina and I… our accounts are still separate, right?"
Kalmiya nodded. "Of course, Master."
"And she hasn't… asked me for money lately." He slowly looked back down at the screen when Kalmiya nodded. "She managed this all on her own…?"
Bea growled, her eyes narrowing dangerously. "You're beginning to annoy me. Spit. It. Out."
Nicholas glanced at her. "Sabrina chartered us an airplane." He looked back down when Bea blinked. "If I'm reading this right… It's not a small one, either. It's an international jetliner."
"But she's a-" Bea leaned over to look at the document Nicholas was reading. "You just have so much money because of the sponsorships and ads you do, right Master? As Champion? Isn't Mistress Sabrina… Wasn't Mistress Sabrina just a Gym Leader?"
"She wasn't poor but you're right, it's been a while since she retired and something like this is…" Nicholas trailed off. "Hell I'd probably think twice about making a purchase like this. Holy shit."
Miyuki slowly leaned in but not to read herself. Instead she placed her head on his shoulder and blinked coquettishly up at him. "An opportunity, she said?"
Nicholas shook himself and closed the message. "I still have no idea what she's been up to on her trips but if she's able to just rent a jet to fly us all out to her… Whatever it is, she must be really successful at it." He began to grin. "I'm even more curious now. Kalmiya?"
The Porygon brightened. "Master?"
"I order you not to do ANY research on what Sabrina is up to, and to additionally block me from attempting to do the same." Kalmiya's jaw dropped when Nicholas grinned down at her. "This is a direct order, and it will stand until the next time I meet Sabrina face to face."
"…No spoilers, huh Master?" Kalmiya finally replied after she'd gotten over her shock. "I mean I'll keep you from it but stopping me-"
"Is horribly mean, isn't it?" Nicholas snickered. "Too bad. I will take no chances that you might let something slip."
With a massive huff Kalmiya flashed back into the pokedex.
"So when's this plane supposed to take us? And where?" Bea asked while Miyuki continued her lean by trying to worm her way into Nicholas' lap.
"It's on station for the next week. As for where it'll take us…" Nicholas closed his eyes. "Unova. The Unova region."
Bea raised an eyebrow at his reaction. "Is that bad, Master?"
"Not bad. There's just a few things about Unova." He opened his eyes again. "It's a member state of the World League, for one. Once word gets out that I'm on my way you know what the news will be like."
"But you're not thinking of proving them right, are you?" Bea rumbled.
"Not planning on it but plans can change. For now I'll just say that until a point where Sabrina herself tells me I can take a shot at it, I'm not touching a single gym in Unova," Nicholas replied. "I'm not letting this trip turn into another Hoenn." He shrugged apologetically. "If you'll forgive me for saying that, Bea. You were an excellent thing to come out of that disaster."
Bea chuckled darkly. "I'm just a thing now, am I?"
"Oh be quiet." Nicholas reached over to smack her shoulder. "Just ask Miyuki or Dahlia if you want to know what hell they endured while I was galivanting with you on the mainland."
"No need," Bea muttered. "I experienced it myself last year." She shook herself. "Right. So when do we leave?"
"As soon as possible, but we need to prepare." Nicholas pushed back from the table slightly to relieve the pressure Miyuki was putting on him, the Glaceon now entirely curled up in his lap and beginning to nuzzle. "With what Sabrina has said… We won't be coming back." He looked down when Miyuki stopped moving momentarily to look right into her eyes. "We're packing everything up. Moving out of this temporary shelter and beginning our journey to our permanent… home."
Bea nodded. "Would you like to be the one who notifies Dahlia and Zisela?"
"I think that's for the best." Miyuki yelped when Nicholas abruptly stood and sent her tumbling to the floor. "I'll go find them now." He whooped with laughter and bolted from the hall when Miyuki leapt to her feet with an indignant shout, shards of ice flinging themselves after the cackling man while the Glaceon herself sprinted after him in hot pursuit.
.
.
Packing hadn't taken more than a few days and then they'd headed for the airport, Nicholas ignoring the panicked attempts by Indigo League officials to get his travel plans and his reasoning for leaving the remains of the mansion picked completely clean. They were in the air now. Kalmiya was screening the constant stream of calls. Indigo had been left behind. Perhaps for good.
"So what's the plan?"
Nicholas grunted. "How many times? How many of you have asked that same question?"
Elizabeth sniggered and leaned in closer, her weight pressing on a few of the pokegirls around him and receiving annoyed noises in return. "I think I've heard… Five so far, Master."
"Well then maybe I should finally answer one of you because holy crap is it getting annoying," Nicholas grouched to scattered laughter from the pokegirls around him. "At least nobody is asking the other road trip cliché."
Ashley bent her neck to try and get a better look as she grinned. "Are we there-"
"THE PLAN." Ashley's words cut out into uncontrollable giggling as Nicholas glared at her. "As you all well know, we're on our way to Unova. As you all are well aware, we're not going back to Indigo any time soon. We're going to get to Unova, find Sabrina, and learn more once we're there."
Elizabeth tried to remain gruff but she couldn't help let a bit of a smile slip in as the harem began muttering. "All that is stuff we well know, Master. We're asking what's going to happen when we land."
"We'll land and figure out transportation to wherever Sabrina is."
"Oh that's not enough," Sasha, currently in another of her unique forms, moaned. This one was a bird like Ashley but with a much more muscular body and instead of exposed skin with blonde hair and a red highlight Sasha was covered in charcoal black feathers with deep, dark red hair and feathers covering the backs of her wings. She also didn't have a separate pair of arms, unlike Ashley. Nicholas assumed she was only in this similar form because she'd taken up residence directly on his other side from the Pidgeot. "We want to know what's going to happen, not what should."
"When did I become able to see the future?" Nicholas muttered. "We're going to land and figure it out then, I don't know anything else." He paused. "Well… I do have one suspicion. Will that satisfy you all?" When he heard the chorus of assent he sighed. "The copilot, the younger guy. Remember how he asked for a selfie together?"
"Yeah?"
"I'd bet he posted that to social media before we took off." Silence. "That means we should be prepared for cameras when we land."
He winced when he felt excitement begin to build through the plane. "The papa-whatever?" Elaine asked.
"Paparazzi, yes. So unless you want the internet seeing you all as fools you better be on good behavior when we land," Nicholas warned.
"Only when we land?" Nicholas groaned at the new voice as Sohn popped into view with a cheeky smile. "Big pile there. Mind if I slip in?" Instead of waiting for any response she pushed forwards, flames appearing in the face of anyone who tried to argue as she continued worming her way towards Nicholas. "'scuse me, coming through."
"Can we NOT with the fire?" Ashley yelled, her hand shoving into Sohn's face despite the embers that drifted free when she did. "My feathers are delicate and if you burn them so I'm forced to go to a healing cycle instead of stretching my wings when we land I'm gonna-"
"QUICK! PUT HER OUT!"
"No don't-!" Nicholas threw his hands up when Galina popped up across the aisle and ripped the top off her bottle of water before flinging her hand towards Sohn. The Infernape yelped as the contents of the bottle splattered across her back, whirling with an indignant shout from where she'd been playfully working her way into the group. Her flames, only teasingly sparking before, burst to life. Galina dropped the crushed bottle with a cheeky grin and whooped when Sohn flung herself at the Marowak with a screech.
Nicholas shivered when he felt some of the water drip onto his leg and fought his way out of the gaggle of pokegirls just in time to see Galina's mask flowing over her skin. "NO! NOT ON THE PLANE!"
Sohn was midair when she suddenly found herself transfixed and a moment later a wall of green flowed past, completely encasing Galina as Dahlia swept past and stepped through her vines to a panicked noise from inside. Meanwhile Sohn found herself smiling nervously at the figure who had just stepped in front of her. "Em. Hi, Alpha."
Zisela glanced past her to Bea, the Metagross' hand raised as she maintained her psychic hold, and with a slight nod Sohn dropped to the floor with a groan. She immediately began protesting when Zisela grabbed her by the hair and began painfully dragging her towards the empty rows of seats further along the body of the plane.
"Blame them for ruining it for the rest of you," Bea snarled low. "Back to a seat. Now."
Ashley tried to slip into the spot directly next to Nicholas until she looked down to see frost on her feathers. Nicholas had never seen her move so fast without her wings as she sprinted away from where Miyuki watched.
Nicholas himself sunk deeper into the couch with a groan. It was a very nice plane that Sabrina had chartered. Only a few rows of actual airplane seats, with most of the space dominated by a luxury interior of couches, tables, and recliners. Maybe a commercial interior would have been worse. He had come to understand how pokegirls were just energy, and in this confined space with three dozen of them there was a new definition to the meaning of that word.
Pokeballs? No, he'd already considered that and discarded the idea. The flight was part of the experience. None of these girls deserved to be carried along like cargo. Though as a last resort he had them all available.
With Miyuki moving back to a seat of her own, Bea stalking her way down the length of the plane, Zisela looming over a suddenly very quiet Sohn, and Dahlia and Galina still a green cocoon in the middle of the plane, Nicholas took full advantage of the brief peace. "Zinnia?" He craned his neck to where he'd last seen the legendary. "Where are you hiding? I need to chat."
He saw her head pop up a few seconds later. "Can it wait?"
Nicholas blinked. "Er. I guess, but I wanted to talk to you before we landed."
Zinnia sighed and vanished from sight again, sliding back into view after a few minutes and padding towards him. Nicholas was confused until he saw Aster's head rise from the same spot, the Salamence's eyes lazily tracking where Zinnia walked.
"Am I interrupting something?" Nicholas asked quietly when Zinnia plopped down next to him.
"Not really. But I know you're about to," Zinnia replied with her eyes staring off down the plane and nowhere near him. "You don't want to talk to Zinnia. You want to talk to Rayquaza."
"Is she not in right now?"
Zinnia finally glanced his way. "She would rather not be, so can you stop playing Rayquaza's games and get to the point?"
Nicholas gave her a slight smile and nodded. "Of course. I'm sure you can guess what I want to talk about. We're headed to Unova."
"That's more games, and not getting to the point," Zinnia growled. "You may be more like us than them these days, but I asked nicely once. I will not do it again."
Nicholas' smile fell. "You're right. I apologize." He paused. "Here's what I want to know. We're on our way to Unova. In Hoenn, Lati… I think it was Latias? Told me that Unova is home to a clan who follow… the original dragon. Tirakan. Your mother. Is that true?"
"And theirs, in a way," Zinnia replied. "That's true. What about them?"
"Is there anything you can tell me about them?" Nicholas asked. "Or about Unova in general? I would assume that, if it was the home of your mother… Well, that it's your birthplace too."
"I was created near what humans call Unova these days, yes," Zinnia replied. "I did not stay there for very long. I was created by Tirakan to quell the rampaging sisters Kyogre and Groudon, not to linger anywhere. So to answer your question, no. I do not know much, if anything, about Unova, or of the humans who killed my mother."
Nicholas grimaced. Zinnia's voice had remained perfectly neutral but he knew better. Even Arceus was not above having emotions. "Okay. What about it being your birthplace, though? Are you going to go flying off like Kali once did when she sensed Mew's island?"
Zinnia snorted softly. "I am much older than the child. No offense, as you know, Kali," she said, angling her head slightly to where a tail had curled around a seat nearby. "I do not believe I will feel any compulsion to fly off to the spot I entered this world. As I said, it holds no significance for me." She waited a moment before turning to look at him, her eyes softening. "But I promise to warn you if I am not as infallible as I claim."
Nicholas barely nodded. "I intend to visit the present-day clan of humans at some point. Will they still be there when I do?"
Zinnia's lips turned up and she began to laugh as a low chuckle came from where Kali sat. "You think the weapon Kali once was might have influenced me to that extent?" Her laughter trailed off. "Hm. With your own influence making all of us vulnerable… You certainly have changed the chronicler." Now she looked at him without any trace of humor. "That is not something Rayquaza would do. Everything she ever did was to humanity's benefit. Without prejudice. I may not be her any longer, but I still share her ideals."
"Glad to hear that."
Zinnia nodded. "Does that satisfy you, Nicholas?"
"I think it'll be good enough," Nicholas replied. "Thank you, Zinnia. I apologize for tearing you away from your happiness."
Zinnia smiled and got to her feet. "You are as much my happiness as my mate is. Perhaps for different reasons, but there is nothing to apologize for." A grin. "However, if you'll excuse me, I was about to explore what humans call the 'Mile High Club'."
Nicholas' eyes shot to the pokegirls nearest to him, the ones most likely to overhear what Zinnia had just said as she walked back to where Aster waited. He was starting to relax, thinking he might have gotten away with her comment, when a voice from the direction Zinnia had returned to made him stiffen. "A tongue just went in a vagina." Nicholas slowly turned to see Hana watching him curiously. "Master, what's a 'Mile High Club'?"
"Something… Zinnia and Aster are already a part of," Nicholas tried to deflect. "A bunch of you are, actually." He cursed to himself when that just made Hana's curious expression deepen.
"Who?"
"Er…" Nicholas felt the attention around him slowly beginning to turn towards the conversation. "You know, it really doesn't matter. We've still got a long flight to go, so let's figure out a way everyone can pass the time. A movie maybe."
He knew it had been a gamble, but when he saw Cassidy slowly turn back to leer at him his heart sank. Of course she knew what the 'Mile High Club' was. She was a walking encyclopedia. Please don't say it, he silently begged. He knew Cassidy could hear him. Her ears even twitched. She looked like she was considering his plea. Then her smile spread to her eyes and Nicholas closed his own with a defeated sigh.
"There's a much better way to pass some time on a plane, Master," Cassidy crowed, raising her voice as she did to make sure each and every pokegirl heard her. "The 'Mile High Club' is human euphemism for having sex mid-flight, after all."
Hana's eyes went wide as heads began popping up to turn in Nicholas' direction. "Oooooh. So Ashley, and Sera, and Aria…"
"…And Kary, and Zinnia, and Aster, yes," Nicholas hissed. "Specifically the term is used when the sex happens more than a mile, or about five thousand feet, above sea level."
"So that's why…" he knew he heard Victoria muttering before Elizabeth popped out and yelled at Cassidy.
"CASS! How high do these plane things fly?"
"Oh, about forty THOUSAND feet above sea level," Cassidy yelled back with a laugh. "Well above the five thousand needed."
There was silence for a moment. Two. Then Miyuki tried to surreptitiously edge out of her seat and now, with one of the Alphas breaking the peace, there was no stopping the harem. A mass of pokegirls surged towards where Nicholas sat as clothing was discarded, excited yelling filled the air, and the plane actually shuddered when Nicholas was buried under a pile of naked flesh.
After a minute or so Aster poked her head up to stare at the orgy. "Mistress? Did you intend for that to happen?"
She was pulled back down to a grinning Zinnia as the legendary tenderly kissed her mate. "He took me away from you," she murmured. "It's the only way I could get away with punishing our wonderful human. Besides." She growled happily and pushed Aster onto her back, rubbing and kneading the Salamence's body. "Let them have their false moment. We fly with him among the clouds."

Only a few lights burned in the sparsely decorated room. Most of the walls were covered in various posters, portraits, a kaleidoscope of faces looking in every direction. A few stood out among the others, repeating, while in other spots the tattered remnants of pictures that had once hung were all that was left, piles of shredded paper strewn about.
Of the sparse furnishings a figure curled up on a small couch, the bed nearby unmade and in a similarly disorganized state as the rest of the room. It idly flicked a hand, a remote loosely held there waving in the general direction of a television mounted to the wall. News, news, sports. The figure sighed and let its arm fall, watching the pokegirls on screen for a bit before curling their arm back and spreading out on the couch with a huff. It stared at the ceiling. "Bored. Bored, bored, bored…" After a few moments it sat up, turning to stare over the back of the couch at a large empty stretch of wall. The posters that had recently hung there were scattered across the floor now. "Why… Why did he have to do that? To her?" Its eyes traveled to where a woman's face dominated the rest of the wall. Cynthia. "You just aren't as interesting as he was. Do you have any idea how long I've waited for someone like you? Someone who wasn't just- just SATISFIED with what they had? ARGH!" Fire burst into the figure's hand and it yelled, hurling the fireball at one of the Cynthia posters before abruptly pulling back and the fire vanished before it could impact. "No, no, I'm sorry, you don't deserve that… It's his fault, not yours." The figure's eyes traveled back to the empty wall. "It's… yours." Flame began to light, consuming the figure's orange hair as it growled. "Nicholas. Topolski. I masturbated to your stupid face and now you go and do this to me?"
A chime from nearby. Slowly the figure turned to look at the monitor on a nearby desk. The computer chimed again and it slid from the couch, stepping from the darkened area where the television sat and into the light to further reveal itself. Massive orange-furred pointed ears gave this shorter pokegirl the illusion of being taller than she was, while a body of very short creamy fur tried to hide a hard, chiseled figure that became readily apparent when she grabbed the table between her and the computer with one hand and lifted it out of the way. The flames that her hair had become streamed out behind her as she took a seat and began tapping at the keyboard, the short, fluffy twin tails behind her curling around the sides. "What's yelling at me… Oh. Oh. It's just you." Slowly she leaned back in her chair. On screen a social media repost. That damn name. "Nicholas fucking Topolski. Of course you've decided to come here now. I bet you're mocking me, aren't you. Casually forfeit the biggest battle of your life and then waltz into my backyard." The pokegirl's face twisted in a scowl. "Why couldn't you have done this a few years ago? I would have loved to meet you. To do it now… Fuck you. Just… fuck you."
She remained there, face twisted, but deep in her piercing, clear blue eyes something glinted. For hours she remained sitting in front of the screen. Locked on the picture of a smiling man. His destination.
He was coming. Here. To Unova.

CELEBRITY PROFILE OVERVIEW
Nicholas Topolski – Tamer
Born in Alola, outside the World League, Nicholas Topolski went to school not to become a Tamer, but to become a pokegirl researcher. If not for the tutelage of World Champion Samuel Oak of Indigo, he may have remained on that path. Instead, he has taken the world by storm. Holding the titles to two of the five World Leagues, Nicholas Topolski seems intent on following in the footsteps of his mentor and becoming the World Champion himself. Known for his mastery, but not reliance, of Dragon-type pokegirls, Nicholas Topolski is said to be an incredibly difficult opponent to face in battle due to his strategy never seeming to be the same twice.
Dahlia – Venusaur
The first pokegirl, and first Alpha, of the Tamer Nicholas Topolski. While she often appears as calm and gentle as Grass-types are known to be, she exhibits a fierce intent during battle. It is speculated that beneath the calm exterior lies a dangerous pokegirl – something to be expected of one of Nicholas Topolski's Alphas.
Miyuki – Glaceon
The self-proclaimed High Priestess of Nicholas Topolski. As cold and aloof as Ice-types are known to be and just as deadly as the cold itself. It is highly advised not to insult her Master within earshot of her – or any of his pokegirls, for that matter. Even if it is off the battlefield she will find you and make you pay.
Bea – Metagross
Daughter of Hoenn Champion Steven Stone's Alpha, Tetsu, Bea has surpassed her mother as one of Nicholas Topolski's Alphas. Dangerous physically, but especially deadly with her psychic powers, the only way to fight this pokegirl is head on – and even that may be impossible if the rumors of a 'special power' her elite Tamer grants her are true.
Zisela – Garchomp
Little was known of Zisela thanks to the strangeness surrounding Nicholas Topolski's time in Sinnoh, but once it was revealed he was performing espionage on behalf of the International Police much more about the pokegirls he had chosen to accompany him became clear. Zisela is known to be a violent and vicious pokegirl who will stop at nothing to achieve victory and any opponent should be ready to lose far more than just their stamina if they weather her attacks.
