In remote location of the city known as Canto Bight, the facility revealed to be the Canto Bight police headquarters for the roughest, toughest criminals in the galaxy. Elsewhere in the cell, mysterious cloaked figure, who is sleeping in a bunk bed with a fellow prisoner from below, who is also sleeping with his boots on the top bunk with the figure.
However, two unknown figures, who had been arrested for parking a shuttle on the beach. Two Canto Bight police officers threw two figures in the same cell as the other two were in. "Now stay there, shuttle parkers!" One cop said. As the two figures turned out to be a dark skinned male and a light skinned female who got in the opposite area of the cell. As the male stranger said. "So, what's the status of the fuel reserve of the Resistance ship?". The female stranger commented about the condition of the ship. "Finn, the fleet is running on fumes. Without a code breaker to sneak into Snoke's Star Destroyer." The man goes by the name Finn, who pushed the bars in frustration after failing to achieve their goal. "What do we do?" She questioned. "I don't know." Finn said before walking towards the bunk bed. "Unless you got a thief in your pocket, our plan is shot." He puts his right hand on the top bunk until he heard a voice. "Um, I can do it." And then the duo looked at the source of the male prisoner speaking.
He is seen wearing torn socks before the cloaked figure woke as well. "What?" The woman said. He spoke. "What?" She said right back to him. "What?"
As the man started waking up before getting up and started stuttering. "S-S-Sorry, I just couldn't help but overhear all the stuff you were saying really loudly while I was trying to sleep." After rubbing his eyes, he opens them. "Codebreaker? Thief? I can do it." He asks them in agreement. "We're not talking about picking pockets, okay?" Finn asks him about the plan to escape before he and a woman named Rose Tico started turning away from him. The man goes by the name DJ and he speaks.
"Aw, yeah." DJ starts standing up before speaking. "D-D-Don't let the wrapper fool you, friend." As DJ starts to explain to Finn and Rose,
another man gets up out of bed and spoke. "Oh, hello there!" The dark-skinned man turns out to be Jack Beq, who is revealed to be a Jedi.
And Finn and Rose are weird about this mysterious man. "Oh, hi there!" greeted Rose. "Hello!" Finn greeted. "I see you two met DJ,
my fellow inmate." the Jedi introduced.
"Hi, I'm Finn!" he shakes his hand. "And I'm Rose Tico!" she did the same. "And my name is Jack Beq!" he introduced himself.
"Well, it's nice to meet you, Jack!" Rose nodded before explaining. "But we've got a situation going on with our crew."
And Jack knows something familiar about Finn and Rose's crew. "What kind are they?" he questioned them before turning to DJ.
"So, what was your history with the First Order?" and he tells them about his history with Snoke's crew. "Me and the First Order codeage go way back." And Jack realized about the Knights of Ren. "I knew it was them."
DJ speaks and stammers at the same time. "And if the price is right, I could break you into old man S-S-S-Snoke's boudoir."
"No." Finn shook his head.
"We're... We got it covered." said Rose.
As the two turned to Jack, who landed on the floor before Finn explains to him "We're with the Resistance, but our fleet is doomed."
Rose commented "The First Order tracked us through lightspeed just before our fleet could run out of fuel in a few hours." Jack was shocked about the revelation. "And we almost achieved our goal for asking the Master Codebreaker at the high stakes table before we got captured by the cops and wound up here." Finn finished.
"So that's why I wound up here while avoiding the Sith ships before jumping into hyperspace and found myself here on Cantonica until I found someplace to land my ship before it got shot down by the Canto Bight police after I got out and managed to escape from them before I got arrested and met DJ here." Jack explained his story to Rose and Finn.
Rose said in concern. "So sorry to hear that."
And Finn said. "Right now, we gotta get out of here."
"Ha-tuk-ga." DJ said in a foreign language while walking towards the cell door before placing a foreign object in the lock.
As their cell door opens, DJ was the first to step out of the cell after motioning Finn, Rose, and Jack to know that the coast is clear.
Finn knows what transpired. "Did he just?"
"Unlocked the door with some type of key." Jack replied.
And Rose witnessed the moment. "Yeah!"
Just then, Rose, Finn, and Jack all step out of their cell.
"We got to get out of here!" she motions to the two men. "This way!"
"But first thing's first! I'm going to get my lightsaber before meeting you guys at the rendezvous point."
Finn salutes to Jack "Just be careful, Jack!" and Rose did the same. "Make sure you'll meet us there in time!"
He nods right before running down the prison halls notices a storage room. Seconds later, he pressed a button that opened the door. As Jack enters the room while looking various items until he spotted something: his lightsaber. He uses the force to reclaim his weapon before stepping out of the room and closed the door. However, DJ and some strange orange and white rolling droid came up to Jack that now is his time to leave Canto Bight to meet up with Finn and Rose at the extraction point.
"Come on, follow us!" the slicer motioned to him. And the rolling droid, who goes by the name BB-8 beeps at him about finding a ship to escape to.
Then Jack says "Okay, so here's what we got to do? We have to find ship to get off this backwater."
"One more t-t-thing we got to figure where the h-h-h-hangar is somewhere." DJ noted before turning to BB-8. "Roundie, do you know where the nearest ship is located?" The droid beeps in response it is at the beach where he, Finn, and Rose landed.
As the trio head to the beach until they spotted many horse-like creatures known as farthiers running through the city, including one carrying Finn and Rose before heading towards the beach. Before these two could get back to their ship, a blast from the Canto Bight cops' cannon fired at it, destroying it in the process. Both Jack and BB-8 are shocked to look at it in flames. Momentarily, DJ notice a silver yacht that belonged to the owner, who owns this ship.
"Hey, you guys! I f-f-found something!"
The Jedi and the droid glanced at the silver ship before DJ starts walking towards the ramp, then Jack, and lastly, BB-8.
"Do you know how to fly this thing?" Jack questioned. "We've got to meet up with Rose and Finn."
Jack finds a place to sit before DJ starts the engines of the yacht just moments before taking off to find the other duo.
BB-8 beeps at DJ to help find Finn and Rose. "R-R-Right, got it! On the way to find our new f-f-friends."
The droid bleeps in agreement "Now let's get out of this popsicle stand." said Jack.
As DJ pilots the ship to where Finn and Rose are, Jack heads to the cockpit before spotting the duo, who are on the edge of a cliff after dismounting from a farthier.
Moments later, BB-8 was the first to meet them and beeps at them. "BB-8! Wait, are you flying that thing?" Finn cheered and questioned at the same time as the droid beeps in response before DJ came into view. "Ah. N-N-Need a lift?"
Apparently, Rose and Finn run towards the spiral stairs of the yacht just before the police arrive at scene until the ship took off into space to help the Resistance crew by breaking into Snoke's ship.
"Well, that was a close call!" Jack said in relief of what just happened. BB-8 started to approach Jack before beep at him. "Hi there!
My name's Jack! And you?" as the droid bleeps in response that his name is BB-8. "Good! Nice to meet you, BB-8!"
As stands up walks up to Finn and Rose. "Okay, so we're definitely going to break into Snoke's Mega Star Destroyer by disabling the hyperspace tracker!" As the group nods in agreement about the current mission before the ship jumps into hyperspace.
So, a guy named Jack Beq comes from the planet called Ossus, where Luke Skywalker started a Jedi Academy before his nephew, Ben Solo turned to the dark side of the Force and becoming Kylo Ren in the process.
