Chapter 92: Birth of Evil (7):

Emperor Harunobu's POV:

A mysterious form of evil came, and it absorbed anything that was alive. I attempted to end it, but instead, I made it into Aku and now, he is destroying my home while I am trapped and can't do anything about him. Then a strange white horse came. It freed me and offered me a ride. I then took it.

. . .

The horse then took me to a temple on a high mountain, where I met Odin, Ra, and Rama.

"You have been chosen," says Odin, "a force of Ultimate Evil has resurrected itself on thy world!"

"This evil must be destroyed," says Ra.

"Only through the strength of the human spirit and the virtue of human righteousness can this evil be vanquished," says Rama.

The three then zapped me with energy beams from their eyes.

Singer: Where have all the good men gone
And where are all the gods?
Where's the streetwise Hercules
To fight the rising odds?

Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed
Late at night, I toss and I turn
And I dream of what I need

I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong, and he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight

I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure, and it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life
Larger than life

Somewhere after midnight
In my wildest fantasy
Somewhere, just beyond my reach
There's someone reaching back for me

Racing on the thunder
And rising with the heat
It's gonna take a Superman to sweep me off my feet, yeah

I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong, and he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight

I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure, and it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life

I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night

Up where the mountains meet the heavens above
Out where the lightning splits the sea
I could swear there is someone, somewhere watching me
Through the wind and the chill and the rain
And the storm and the flood

I can feel his approach like a fire in my blood
(Chorus: Like a fire in my blood, like a fire in my blood
Like a fire in my blood, like a fire in my blood, blood)

I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong, and he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight

I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure, and it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life

I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong, and he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight

I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the morning light
He's gotta be sure, and it's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life

I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night!

They then made a sword. A magic sword.

"This blade was formed from the righteous energy within thee," says Odin.

"It possesses the power to destroy this evil force," says Ra.

"But be warned," says Rama, "this evil is not of the human world. It has magic beyond your understanding. Trust not what you see, but what you feel."

Dazrin's POV:

I took a look and... the pool of darkness was gone! Where could it...

"So, you are the one who thought they could control me!"

I turned around and black tentacles grabbed me. "Who are you?"

"I am Aku, and you shall help me or face your punishment!"

It seems I do not have much of a choice. "Very well."

"A wise decision. Go and destroy the Temple of the Gods!"

It seems this is what I have been reduced to... for now.
